| 1 | MIMO-DCSK communication scheme and its performance analysis over multipath fading channels显示文摘The differential chaotic shift keying(DCSK) communication in multiple input multiple output(MIMO) multipath fading channels is considered. A simple MIMO-DCSK communication scheme based on orthogonal multi-codes(OMCs) and equal gain combination(EGC) is proposed, in which OMCs are used to spread the same information bit at each transmitting antenna and the information bit is detected by EGC at receiving antenna. The OMCs are constructed from one chaotic sequence by means of othogonal space-time block coding(OSTBC). The output signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) after EGC is given based on central limit theory(CLT),and it can effectively exploit the spatial diversity of the underlying MIMO system. | 2 | A novel battery scheme:Coupling nanostructured phosphorus anodes with lithium sulfide cathodes显示文摘Lithium-ion batteries are approaching their theoretical limit and can no longer keep up with the increasing demands of human society.Lithium-sulfur batteries,with a high theoretical specific energy,are promising candidates for next generation energy storage.However,the use of Li metal in Li-S batteries compromises both safety and performance,enabling dendrite formation and causing fast capacity degradation.Previous studies have probed alternative battery systems to replace the metallic Li in Li-S system,such as a Si/Li2S couple,with limited success in performance.Recently,there is a focus on red P as a favorable anode material to host Li.Here,we establish a novel battery scheme by utilizing a P/C nanocomposite anode and pairing it with a Li2S coated carbon nanofiber cathode.We find that red P anode can be compatible in ether-based electrolyte systems and can be successfully coupled to a Li2S cathode.Our proof of concept full-cell displays remarkable specific capacity,rate and cycling performances.We expect our work will provide a useful alternative system and valuable insight in the quest for next generation energy storage devices. | David Sichen Wu Guangmin Zhou Eryang Mao Yongming Sun Bofei Liu Li Wang Jiangyan Wang Feifei Shi Yi Cui | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,5: | 4 |
| 3 | Confining ultrafine Li3P nanoclusters in porous carbon for highperformance lithium-ion battery anode显示文摘High-capacity lithium-containing alloy anodes(e.g.,Li4.4Si,Li4.4Sn,and Li3P)enable lithium-free cathodes(e.g.,Sulfur,V2O5,and FeF3)to produce next-generation lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with high energy density.Herein,we design a Li3P/C nanocomposite with Li3P ultrafine nanodomains embedded in micrometer-scale porous carbon particles.Benefiting from the unique micro/nanostructure of the Li3P/C nanocomposite,electrons transfer rapidly through the conductive pathway provided by the porous carbon framework and the volume change between Li3P and P is confined in the nanopores of the carbon,which avoids the collapse of the whole Li3P/C composite particles.As expected,the as-achieved Li3P/C nanocomposite provided a high available lithium-ion capacity of 791 mAh/g(calculated based on the mass of Li3P/C)at 0.1 C during the initial delithiation process.Meanwhile,the Li3P/C nanocomposite showed 75%of its 0.5 C capacity at 6 C and stable cycling stability. | Eryang Mao Wenyu Wang Mintao Wan Li Wang Xiangming He Yongming Sun | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,4: | 3 |

| 7 | Light emission of double-walled carbon nanotube filaments doped with yttrium and europium显示文摘As the potential applications of carbon nanotubes in the field of electroluminescence, elements yttrium and europium were introduced to modify the emission properties of double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) to obtain higher efficacy and other properties. The light emission spectrum of the Y-Eu-doped DWNT filament is suppressed in the near-infrared range, while enhanced in the mid-infrared range. The doped DWNT filament can reach higher efficacy than that of the pure DWNT filament at the same input power and can work stably as long as 5000 h at 12 V. In this paper, two different kinds of spurious signals due to amplitude quantization in DDFSs are exactly formulated in the time domain and detailedly compared in the frequency do- main, and the effects of the DDFS parameter variations on the spurious performance are thoroughly studied. | 11 | Insights on“nitrate salt”in lithium anode for stabilized solid electrolyte interphase显示文摘A Li/KNO_(3) composite(LKNO),with KNO_(3) uniformly implanted in bulk metallic Li,is fabricated for battery anode via a facile mechanical kneading approach,which exhibits high Coulombic efficiency and prolonged cycle life.The mechanism behind the enhanced electrochemical performance of the“salt-in-metal”composite is investigated,where KNO_(3) in metallic Li composite electrode would be sustainably released into the electrolyte.The presence of NO_(3)-stabilizes the solid electrolyte interphase by producing functional Li_(3)N,LiNxOy,and Li_(2)O species.K^(+)from KNO_(3) also helps to form an electrostatic shield after its adsorption on the electrode protrusions,which suppresses the dendritic growth of metallic Li.With the above advantages,uniform Li plating with dense and planar structure is realized for the LKNO electrode.These findings reveal a deep understanding of the effect of the“saltin-metal”anode and provide new insights into the use of nitrate additives for high-energy-density Li metal batteries. | Lin Fu Xiancheng Wang Zihe Chen Yuanjian Li Eryang Mao Zhi Wei Seh Yongming Sun | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,1: | 0 |
