3Potentiating CD8^(+) T cell antitumor activity by inhibiting PCSK9 to promote LDLR-mediated TCR recycling and signaling显示文摘Metabolic regulation has been proven to play a critical role in T cell antitumor immunity.However,cholesterol metabolism as a key component of this regulation remains largely unexplored.Herein,we found that the low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR),which has been previously identified as a transporter for cholesterol,plays a pivotal role in regulating CD8+T cell antitumor activity.Besides the involvement of cholesterol uptake which is mediated by LDLR in T cell priming and clonal expansion,we also found a non-canonical function of LDLR in CD8+T cells:LDLR interacts with the T-cell receptor(TCR)complex and regulates TCR recycling and signaling,thus facilitating the effector function of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes(CTLs).Furthermore,we found that the tumor microenvironment(TME)downregulates CD8+T cell LDLR level and TCR signaling via tumor cell-derived proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9(PCSK9)which binds to LDLR and prevents the recycling of LDLR and TCR to the plasma membrane thus inhibits the effector function of CTLs.Moreover,genetic deletion or pharmacological inhibition of PCSK9 in tumor cells can enhance the antitumor activity of CD8+T cells by alleviating the suppressive effect on CD8+T cells and consequently inhibit tumor progression.While previously established as a hypercholesterolemia target,this study highlights PCSK9/LDLR as a potential target for cancer immunotherapy as well.Juanjuan Yuan Ting Cai Xiaojun Zheng Yangzi Ren Jingwen Qi Xiaofei Lu Huihui Chen Huizhen Lin Zijie Chen Mengnan Liu Shangwen He Qijun Chen Siyang Feng Yingjun Wu Zhenhai Zhang Yanqing Ding Wei Yang 2021Protein & Cell2021,12,4:12

6A new species of the genus Crocidura from China based on molecular and morphological data(Eulipotyphla: Soricidae)显示文摘A new species of white-toothed shrew,Crocidura anhuiensis Zhang,Zhang&Li,sp.nov.is described from Mount Huang,China.Genetic sequence(mt DNA Cyt b gene)and morphological(external and skull)data are used to distinguish this newly discovered species.The phylogenetic analysis shows that the materials of this work are monophyletic and allied to C.attenuata by the uncorrected genetic distance 4.9–5.1%,which suggests a species-level divergence.Morphologically,the materials are different from C.attenuata by presenting a greater proportion of tail-to-body ratio and the presence of an obvious tooth root in the mandible.Based on those data,the unnamed species is described as a new species which is currently known only from the Wild Monkey Valley,Mount Huang,Anhui Province,China.Heng Zhang Guiyou Wu Yanqing Wu Jianfei Yao Shuo You Chencheng Wang Feng Cheng Jingjing Chen Mingxia Tang Chunlin Li Baowei Zhang 2019Zoological Systematics2019,44,4:5
7Optimization and Effects of Catalytic Ozonation of Actual Phenolic Wastewater by CuO/Al2O3显示文摘In order to improve the ability of ozone to catalyze the degradation of phenolic pollutants in wastewater,the CuO/Al2O3 catalysts was prepared by the impregnation precipitation method and an ozone catalytic oxidation system was constructed.The actual phenolic sewage was used as the treatment object.And the reaction conditions of the system were optimized,and the treatment effect was determined,while the non-catalytic system was used as a control group.At the same time,the influence of salt and ammonia nitrogen related water quality on the system was studied.The optimal reaction conditions for the treatment of phenolic wastewater covered:a catalyst dosage of 30 g/L,an ozone flow rate of 0.3 m3/h,a pH value of 8.80,and a reaction time of 15 minutes.Under these conditions,the phenol and COD removal rates of the system reached 98.7%and 49.4%,respectively,which were by 31.3 percentage points and 16.2 percentage points higher than that of the ozonation system alone.The salt and ammonia nitrogen in the sewage can reduce the oxidation effect of the system.When the salinity reached 10%and the ammonia nitrogen content reached 13 000 mg/L,the removal rate of phenol could be reduced by about 20%.The results of this paper have a reference value for phenol wastewater treatment engineering.Ma Rui Liu Guangmin Feng Sihui Qiu Xiaoyu Zhang Yanqing Xia Shumei Xue Jianliang 2019China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2019,21,3:3
8Chatter free sliding mode control of a chaotic coal mine power grid with small energy inputs显示文摘An augmented proportional-integral sliding surface was designed for a sliding mode controller.A chatter free sliding mode control strategy for a chaotic coal mine power grid was developed.The stability of the control strategy was proven by Lyapunov stability theorem.The proposed sliding mode control strategy eliminated the chattering phenomenon by replacing the sign function with a saturation function,and by replacing the constant coefficients in the reaching law with adaptive ones.An immune genetic algorithm was used to optimize the parameters in the improved reaching law.The cut-in time of the controllers was optimized to reduce the peak energy of their output.Simulations showed that the proposed sliding mode controller has good,chatter free performance.Xu Yanqing Jia Feng Ma Caoyuan Mao Jiasong Zhang Shaowei 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4:2
9Effect of power parameter and induction coil on magnetic field in cold crucible during continuous melting and directional solidification显示文摘Bottomless electromagnetic cold crucible is a new apparatus for continuous melting and directional solidification;however,improving its power efficiency and optimizing the configuration are important for experiment and production.In this study,a 3-D finite element (FE) method based on experimental verification was applied to calculate the magnetic flux density (Bz).The effects of the power parameters and the induction coil on the magnetic field distribution in the cold crucible were investigated.The results show that higher current intensity and lower frequency are beneficial to the increase of Bz at both the segment midpoint and the slit location.The induction coil with racetrack section can induce greater Bz,and a larger gap between the induction coil and the shield ring increases Bz.The mechanism for this effect is also discussed.Chen Ruirun Yang Jieren Ding Hongsheng Huang Feng Su Yanqing Guo Jingjie Fu Hengzhi 2012China Foundry2012,9,1:2
10Partial anammox achieved in full scale biofilm process for typical domestic wastewater treatment显示文摘The slow initiation of anammox for treating typical domestic wastewater and the relatively high footprint of wastewater treatment infrastructures are major concerns for practical wastewater treatment systems.Herein,a 300 m^(3)/d hybrid biofilm reactor(HBR)process was developed and operated with a short hydraulic retention time(HRT)of 8 h.The analysis of the bacterial community demonstrated that anammox were enriched in the anoxic zone of the HBR process.The percentage abundance of Candidatus Brocadia in the total bacterial community of the anoxic zone increased from 0 at Day 1 to 0.33%at Day 130 and then to 2.89%at Day 213.Based upon the activity of anammox bacteria,the removal of ammonia nitrogen(NH_(4)^(+)-N)in the anoxic zone was approximately 15%.This showed that the nitrogen transformation pathway was enhanced in the HBR system through partial anammox process in the anoxic zone.The final effluent contained 12 mg/L chemical oxygen demand(COD),0.662 mg/L NH_(4)^(+)-N,7.2 mg/L total nitrogen(TN),and 6 mg/L SS,indicating the effectiveness of the HBR process for treating real domestic wastewater.Feng Hou Ting Zhang Yongzhen Peng Xiaoxin Cao Hongtao Pang Yanqing Shao Xianchun Lu Ju Yuan Xi Chen Jin Zhang 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,3:2
11Bifunctional flexible electrochromic energy storage devices based on silver nanowire flexible transparent electrodes显示文摘Flexible electrochromic energy storage devices(FECESDs)for powering flexible electronics have attracted considerable attention.Silver nanowires(AgNWs)are one kind of the most promising flexible transparent electrodes(FTEs)materials for the emerging flexible devices.Currently,fabricating FECESD based on AgNWs FTEs is still hindered by their intrinsic poor electrochemical stability.To address this issue,a hybrid AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS electrode is proposed.The PEDOT:PSS could not only improve the resistance against electrochemical corrosion of AgNWs,but also work as functional layer to realize the color-changing and energy storage properties.Moreover,the Co(OH)_(2)interlayer further improved the color-changing and energy storage performance.Based on the improvement,we assembled the symmetrical FECESDs.Under the same condition,the areal capacitance(0.8 mF cm^(−2))and coloration efficiency(269.80 cm^(2)C−1)of AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS FECESDs were obviously higher than AgNWs/PEDOT:PSS FECESDs.Furthermore,the obtained FECESDs exhibited excellent stability against the mechanical deformation.The areal capacitance remained stable during 1000 times cyclic bending with a 25 mm curvature radius.These results demonstrated the broad application potential of the AgNWs/Co(OH)_(2)/PEDOT:PSS FECESD for the emerging portable and multifunctional electronics.He Zhang Fangyuan Sun Ge Cao Dongyan Zhou Guofan Zhang Jiayun Feng Shang Wang Fengyu Su Yanqing Tian Yan Jun Liu Yanhong Tian 2023International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2023,5,1:1

14Continuous melting and directional solidification of silicon ingot with an electromagnetic cold crucible显示文摘In order to avoid contamination from the crucible and to modify the structures,a new solidification method based on cold crucible technology was used to prepare silicon ingots.A silicon ingot with square cross section was directionally solidified with a cold crucible.The mechanism of the cold crucible directional solidification of silicon ingot was revealed.Due to the induction heat that was released in the surface layer and the incomplete contact between the crucible and the melt,the lateral heat loss was reduced and the silicon ingot was directionally solidified.The structures,dislocation defects and the grain growth orientation of the ingot were determined.The results show that neither intergranular nor intragranular precipitates are found in the ingot,except for the top part that was the last to solidify.The average dislocation density is about 1 to 2×106 cm-2.The grains are preferentially <220> orientated.Huang Feng Chen Ruirun Guo Jingjie Ding Hongsheng Su Yanqing Yang Jieren Fu Hengzhi 2012China Foundry2012,9,1:1

20Population genomic analysis reveals domestication of cultivated rye from weedy rye显示文摘Rye(Secale cereale)is an important crop with multiple uses and a valuable genetic resource for wheat breeding.However,due to its complex genome and outcrossing nature,the origin of cultivated rye remains elusive.The geneticist N.I.Vavilov proposed that cultivated rye had been domesticated from weedy rye,rather than directly from wild species like other crops.Unraveling the domestication history of rye will extend our understanding of crop evolution and upend our inherent understanding of agricultural weeds.To this end,in this study we generated the 8.5 Tb of whole-genome resequencing data from 116 worldwide accessions of wild,weedy,and cultivated rye,and demonstrated that cultivated rye was domesticated directly from weedy relatives with a similar but enhanced genomic selection by humans.We found that a repertoire of genes that experienced artificial selection is associated with important agronomic traits,including shattering,grain yield,and disease resistance.Furthermore,we identified a composite introgression in cultivated rye from the wild perennial Secale strictum and detected a 2-Mb introgressed fragment containing a candidate ammonium transporter gene with potential effect on the grain yield and plant growth of rye.Taken together,our findings unravel the domestication history of cultivated rye,suggest that interspecific introgression serves as one of the likely causes of obscure species taxonomy of the genus Secale,and provide an important resource for future rye and wheat breeding.Yanqing Sun Enhui Shen Yiyu Hu Dongya Wu Yu Feng Sangting Lao Chenfeng Dong Tianyu Du Wei Hua Chu-Yu Ye Jinhuan Zhu Qian-Hao Zhu Daguang Cai Lidia Skuza Jie Qiu Longjiang Fan 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,3:1
