1中国基层医疗二型糖尿病人中阳痿的普遍性,相互关联,患者态度和寻求治疗的行为显示文摘本研究探讨在基层医疗二型糖尿病人中,阳痿的普遍性、相互关联、患者态度和寻求治疗的行为。我们将一份结构性匿名自填问卷发放到十所普通科门诊诊所进行横断性调查。在603位参与者(91%回应率)中,以国际勃起功能指数(iief)作定义之阳痿的普遍性为79.1%。多数参与者患轻度阳痿(28.9%),随后为轻至中度阳痿(27.9%)、中度阳痿(13.4%)及严重阳痿(9%)。接近55%的阳痿患者并不自觉患有此症。少于10%的患者曾寻求医生治疗,76.1%的参与者表示若被确诊为阳痿,会期望得到医生治理。他们认为最重要的医生治理是临床评估(41.7%),其次是治理潜在因素(37.8%)、转介专科医生(27.5%)、教育(23.9%)、处方磷酸二酯酶5型抑制剂(16.9%),及转介辅导服务(6.7%)。与诊断阳痿最密切关联的因素是自觉患有阳痿(OR=90.49(20.00—409.48,P〈0.001))、以及较年长的组别(OR=1.043(1.011-1.076,P=0.008))。总体而言,阳痿在二型糖尿病人中非常普遍。其中大部分病人如患上阳痿都希望得到医生救治,但只有少数会真正提出此要求。建议医护人员使用结构性问卷筛选二型糖尿病人中的阳痿患者,有助于找出未被诊断的阳痿个案。Wai Hon Lo Sau Nga Fu Carlos King Ho Wong Ee San Chen 2014Asian Journal of Andrology2014,16,5:8

3Magnetotail dipolarization fronts and particle acceleration:A review显示文摘In this paper, the particle acceleration processes around magnetotail dipolarization fronts(DFs) were reviewed. We summarize the spacecraft observations(including Cluster, THEMIS, MMS) and numerical simulations(including MHD, testparticle, hybrid, LSK, PIC) of these processes. Specifically, we(1) introduce the properties of DFs at MHD scale, ion scale, and electron scale,(2) review the properties of suprathermal electrons with particular focus on the pitch-angle distributions,(3)define the particle-acceleration process and distinguish it from the particle-heating process,(4) identify the particle-acceleration process from spacecraft measurements of energy fluxes, and(5) quantify the acceleration efficiency and compare it with other processes in the magnetosphere(e.g., magnetic reconnection and radiation-belt acceleration processes). We focus on both the acceleration of electrons and ions(including light ions and heavy ions). Regarding electron acceleration, we introduce Fermi,betatron, and non-adiabatic acceleration mechanisms;regarding ion acceleration, we present Fermi, betatron, reflection, resonance, and non-adiabatic acceleration mechanisms. 13Neotuberostemonine and tuberostemonine ameliorate pulmonary fibrosis through suppressing TGF-β and SDF-1 secreted by macrophages and fibroblasts via the PI3K-dependent AKT and ERKpathways显示文摘Activated fibroblasts and M2-polarized macrophages may contribute to the progression of pulmonary fibrosis by forming a positive feedback loop.This study was aimed to investigate whether fibroblasts and macrophages form this loop by secreting SDF-1 and TGF-β and the impacts of neotuberostemonine(NTS)and tuberostemonine(TS).Mice were intratracheally injected with 3 U·kg^(-1)bleomycin and orally administered with 30 mg·kg^(-1)NTS or TS.Primary pulmonary fibroblasts(PFBs)and MH-S cells(alveolar macrophages)were used in vitro.The animal experiments showed that NTS and TS improved fibrosis related indicators,inhibited fibroblast activation and macrophage M2 polarization,and reduced the levels of TGF-β and SDF-1 in alveolar lavage fluid.Cell experiments showed that TGF-β1 may activated fibroblasts into myofibroblasts secreting SDF-1 by activating the PI3K/AKT/HIF-1αand PI3K/PAK/RAF/ERK/HIF-1αpathways.It was also found for the first time that SDF-1 was able to directly polarize macrophages into M2 phenotype secreting TGF-β through the same pathways as mentioned above.Moreover,the results of the cell coculture confirmed that fibroblasts and macrophages actually developed a feedback loop to promote fibrosis,and the secretion of TGF-β and SDF-1 was crucial for maintaining this loop.NTS and TS may disturb this loop through inhibiting both the PI3K/AKT/HIF-1αand PI3K/PAK/RAF/ERK/HIF-1α pathways to improve pulmonary fibrosis.NTS and TS are stereoisomeric alkaloids with pyrrole[1,2-ajazapine skeleton,and their effect on improving pulmonary fibrosis may be largely attributed to their parent nucleus.Moreover,this study found that inhibition of both the AKT and ERK pathways is essential for maximizing the improvement of pulmonary fibrosis.FU San SONG Xianrui HU Yingying ZHU Qingwei LV Xinmiao TANG Xiaoyan ZHANG Mian 2023Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,7:0
14A novel approach for the prevention of ionizing radiation-induced bone loss using a designer multifunctional cerium oxide nanozyme显示文摘The disability,mortality and costs due to ionizing radiation(IR)-induced osteoporotic bone fractures are sub-stantial and no effective therapy exists.Ionizing radiation increases cellular oxidative damage,causing an imbalance in bone turnover that is primarily driven via heightened activity of the bone-resorbing osteoclast.We demonstrate that rats exposed to sublethal levels of IR develop fragile,osteoporotic bone.At reactive surface sites,cerium ions have the ability to easily undergo redox cycling:drastically adjusting their electronic con-figurations and versatile catalytic activities.These properties make cerium oxide nanomaterials fascinating.We show that an engineered artificial nanozyme composed of cerium oxide,and designed to possess a higher fraction of trivalent(Ce^(3+))surface sites,mitigates the IR-induced loss in bone area,bone architecture,and strength.These investigations also demonstrate that our nanozyme furnishes several mechanistic avenues of protection and selectively targets highly damaging reactive oxygen species,protecting the rats against IR-induced DNA damage,cellular senescence,and elevated osteoclastic activity in vitro and in vivo.Further,we reveal that our nanozyme is a previously unreported key regulator of osteoclast formation derived from macrophages while also directly targeting bone progenitor cells,favoring new bone formation despite its exposure to harmful levels of IR in vitro.These findings open a new approach for the specific prevention of IR-induced bone loss using synthesis-mediated designer multifunctional nanomaterials.Fei Wei Craig J.Neal Tamil Selvan Sakthivel Yifei Fu Mahmoud Omer Amitava Adhikary Samuel Ward Khoa Minh Ta Samuel Moxon Marco Molinari Jackson Asiatico Michael Kinzel Sergey N.Yarmolenko Vee San Cheong Nina Orlovskaya Ranajay Ghosh Sudipta Seal Melanie Coathup 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,3:0
