1应用表观扩散系数进行星形细胞肿瘤分级:单参数法与双参数法优越性的比较显示文摘目的评估MRI中应用最小表观扩散系数(ADCs),NADC差值进行星形细胞肿瘤分级的实用性。方法医院的伦理审查委员会通过了该项回顾性研究并免除了知情同意书。本研究评估了50例(23例男性,27例女性;平均年龄53岁)新确诊的星形细胞肿瘤病人。2名不了解临床信息的观察者.独立对肿瘤伴或不伴对比增强的实质部分手工设置3~5个感兴趣区(40~60mm^2),进行测量并计算其平均ADCs。选定ADCs的最大及最小值,并计算其间差值即ADC差值。R. 3NUMERICAL MODELLING OF ROCK FALL USING EXTENDED DDA显示文摘The reasonable design of protective structures to mitigate the hazards from rock fall depends on the knowledge of motion behaviors of falling stones,such as the falling paths,velocities,jump heights and distances.Numerical simulation is an effective way to gain such kind of knowledge,In this paper,the discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) is applied to rock fall analysis.In order to obtain more reliable results,the following improvements and extensions are made on the original DDA.(1)Solve the problem of block expansions due to rigid body rotation error.(2) Add the function of modeling the drag resistance from air and plants so that the velocities of falling stones obtained by simulations are good enough in agreement with those by experiments in situ.(3)Add the capability to consider energy loss due to block collisions so that the jumping heights and distances obtained by simulations are good enough in agreement with thos by experiments even for the slope with very soft layer on its surface.One of application examples is presented to show that the extended DDA is very effective and useful in rock fall analysis.Therefore,the presented method is expected to be put into wide use in slop stability analysis.Chen Guangqi (Graduate School of Civil and Structural Engineering, Kyushu University, Fukuoka 816-8581 Japan) 2003岩石力学与工程学报2003,22,6:14
4纤维素催化转化为高附加值化学品的研究进展(英文)显示文摘Currently,under huge pressure from energy demands and environmental problems,much attention is being paid to biomass conversion,which will play an important role in meeting the requirements for a sustainable society.As the most abundant biomass on earth, cellulose is usually used as the first research target for biomass conversion.In this review,the recalcitrant structure of cellulose is discussed and non-catalytic hydrolysis by hot-compressed water and catalytic hydrolysis using solid acids are then considered.We also review the catalytic conversion of cellulose into valuable chemicals including hexitols(sorbitol and mannitol),ethylene glycol,and related compounds using various heterogeneous catalysts.Hirokazu KOBAYASHI Atsushi FUKUOKA 2011催化学报2011,32,5:13

6Immunological Effects of Silica and Asbestos显示文摘Silicosis patients(SILs) and patients who have been exposed to asbestos develop not only respiratory diseases but also certain immunological disorders. In particular,SIL sometimes complicates autoimmune diseases such as systemic scleroderma,rheumatoid arthritis(known as Caplan syndrome) ,and systemic lupus erythematoses. In addition,malignant complications such as lung cancer and malignant mesothelioma often occurr in patients exposed to asbestos,and may be involved in the reduction of tumor immunity. Although silica-induced disorders of autoimmunity have been explained as adjuvant-type effects of silica,more precise analyses are needed and should reflect the recent progress in immunomolecular findings. A brief summary of our investigations related to the immunological effects of silica/asbestos is presented. Recent advances in immunomolecular studies led to detailed analyses of the immunological effects of asbestos and silica. Both affect immuno-competent cells and these effects may be associated with the pathophysiological development of complications in silicosis and asbestos-exposed patients such as the occurrence of autoimmune disorders and malignant tumors,respectively. In addition,immunological analyses may lead to the development of new clinical tools for the modification of the pathophysiological aspects of diseases such as the regulation of autoimmunity or tumor immunity using cell-mediated therapies,various cytokines,and molecule-targeting therapies. 8PRECIPITATION BEHAVIOUR AND HARDENING OFB2-ORDERED Ni(Al, Ta)显示文摘Precipitation of Ni2Al in supersaturated NiAl containing Ta and corresponding hardening have been investigated by hardness measurements and by transmission electron microscope observations. Selected area electron diffraction, high resolution electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer analysis have shown that the Ni2Al with a hexagonal structure precipitates coherently in the B2-NiAl matrix. Ni2Al is an ordered phase with a. unit cell parameter, aNi2All=aNiAl and CNi2Al= aNiAl. The orientation relationship between the Ni2Al precipitate and the B2-NiAl matrix is (0001)Ni2Al (111)NiAl and [1120]Ni2Al[110]NiAl. NiAlhardens appreciably by the precipitation of Ni2Al phase.W.H. 9GIS COMPONENT BASED 3D LANDSLIDE HAZARD ASSESSMENT SYSTEM: 3DSLOPEGIS显示文摘In this paper, based on a new Geographic Information System (GIS) grid-based three-dimensional (3D) deterministic model and taken the slope unit as the study object, the landslide hazard is mapped by the index of the 3D safety factor. Compared with the one-dimensional (1D) model of infinite slope, which is now widely used for deterministic model based landslide hazard assessment in GIS, the GIS grid-based 3D model is more acceptable and is more adaptable for three-dimensional landslide. Assuming the initial slip as the lower part of an ellipsoid, the 3D critical slip surface in the 3D slope stability analysis is obtained by means of a minimization of the 3D safety factor using the Monte Carlo random simulation. Using a hydraulic model tool for the watershed analysis in GIS, an automatic process has been developed for identifying the slope unit from digital elevation model (DEM) data. Compared with the grid-based landslide hazard mapping method, the slope unit possesses clear topographical meaning, so its results are more credible. All the calculations are implemented by a computational program, 3DSlopeGIS, in which a GIS component is used for fulfilling the GIS spatial analysis function, and all the data for the 3D slope safety factor calculation are in the form of GIS data (the vector and the grid layers). 10A three-dimensional prediction system for water quality polluction in coastal waters显示文摘The hydrodynamics and water quality in Hakata Bay, Japan are strongly affected by the seasonal variations in both the gravitational circulation and the stratification in the bay. The three\|dimensional hydrodynamics and water quality model has been developed to simulate the long\|term transport and fate of pollutants in the system. The model is unique in that it completely integrates the refined modelling of the hydrodynamics, biochemical reactions and the ecosystem in the coastal waters. It is a 3\|dimensional segmented model which is capable of resolving mean daily variations in all the parameters relevant to pollution control. It predicts daily fluctuations in the oxygen content at different depths in water throughout the year. It takes into account transport and settling of pollutant particles. It predicts light penetration from computed turbidity variations. It includes interactions between the ecosystem and water quality through nutrient cycling and photosynthesis. 15Laparoscopic splenectomy for histiocytic sarcoma of the spleen显示文摘Primary histiocytic sarcoma of the spleen is a rare but potentially lethal condition. It can remain asymptomatic or only mildly symptomatic for a long time. An 81-year-old woman presented with an extremely enlarged spleen. She suffered from progressive anemia and required a red blood cell transfusion once a month. Although computed tomography, ultrasonography, and magnetic resonance imaging were performed for diagnosis, a confirmed diagnosis was not obtained. Her enlarged spleen compressed her stomach, and she suffered from gastritis and a sense of gastric fullness just after meals. She underwent laparoscopic splenectomy for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. Her postoperative course was uneventful. After surgery, her red blood cell and platelet counts increased markedly. The tumor was diagnosed as splenic histiocytic sarcoma. Post-surgical chemotherapy was not performed, and the patient died of liver failure due to liver metastasis 5 mo after surgery. Laparoscopic splenectomy is minimally invasive and useful for the relief of symptoms related to hematological disorders. However, in cases of an enlarged spleen, optimal views and working space are limited. In such cases, splenic artery ligation can markedly reduce the size of the spleen, thus facilitating the procedure.
