2Polymorphisms of chemokine receptors and its ligand alleles influencing genetic suscepti-bity to HIV-1 infection in eight ethnic groups in Chinese mainland显示文摘Limited genetic information is available concerning the polymorphisms of HIV-1 resistant genes in indigenous Chinese populations. The aim of this study is to identify the allelic frequencies of the chemokine and chemokine receptor genes in the Chinese mainland. Genomic DNA samples extracted from whole blood of 2318 subjects were analyzed by using PCR or PCR/restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) assays, and further confirmed by direct DNA sequencing. Higher frequencies of mutant CCR2-64I (19.15%-28.79%) and SDF1-3’A (19.10% -29.86%) alleles were found in subjects of 8 ethnic groups in the Chinese mainland. In contrast, the △32 mutation in CCRS gene occurs at a very low frequency (0.0016, n=1287) in Han population. A relatively high frequency of CCR5-wt/△32 heterozygotes was observed in Uygurian and Mongolian populations. No A32 mutation allele was detected in Tibetan and other 4 ethnic groups in Yunnan Province. 3A rapid and accurate direct measurement method of underground coal seam gas content based on dynamic diffusion theory显示文摘Coal seam gas content is frequently measured in quantity during underground coal mining operation and coalbed methane(CBM)exploration as a significant basic parameter.Due to the calculation error of lost gas and residual gas in the direct method,the efficiency and accuracy of the current methods are not inadequate to the large area multi-point measurement of coal seam gas content.This paper firstly deduces a simplified theoretical dynamic model for calculating lost gas based on gas dynamic diffusion theory.Secondly,the effects of various factors on gas dynamic diffusion from coal particle are experimentally studied.And sampling procedure of representative coal particle is improved.Thirdly,a new estimation method of residual gas content based on excess adsorption and competitive adsorption theory is proposed.The results showed that the maximum error of calculating the losing gas content by using the new simplified model is only 4%.Considering the influence of particle size on gas diffusion law,the particle size of the collected coal sample is below 0.25 mm,which improves the measurement speed and reflects the safety representativeness of the sample.The determination time of gas content reduced from 36 to 3 h/piece.Moreover,the absolute error is 0.15–0.50 m^3/t,and the relative error is within 5%.A new engineering method for determining the coal seam gas content is developed according to the above research.Yanwei Liu Yang Du Zhiqiang Li Fajun Zhao Weiqin Zuo Jianping Wei Hani Mitri 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,6:6
4Magnetic plasmon resonances in nanostructured topological insulators for strongly enhanced light-MoS_(2) interactions显示文摘Magnetic resonances not only play crucial roles in artificial magnetic materials but also offer a promising way for light control and interaction with matter.Recently,magnetic resonance effects have attracted special attention in plasmonic systems for overcoming magnetic response saturation at high frequencies and realizing high-performance optical functionalities.As novel states of matter,topological insulators(TIs)present topologically protected conducting surfaces and insulating bulks in a broad optical range,providing new building blocks for plasmonics.However,until now,high-frequency(e.g.visible range)magnetic resonances and related applications have not been demonstrated in TI systems.Herein,we report for the first time,to our knowledge,a kind of visible range magnetic plasmon resonances(MPRs)in TI structures composed of nanofabricated Sb_(2)Te_(3) nanogrooves.The experimental results show that the MPR response can be tailored by adjusting the nanogroove height,width,and pitch,which agrees well with the simulations and theoretical calculations.Moreover,we innovatively integrated monolayer MoS_(2) onto a TI nanostructure and observed strongly reinforced light-MoS_(2) interactions induced by a significant MPR-induced electric field enhancement,remarkable compared with TI-based electric plasmon resonances(EPRs).The MoS_(2) photoluminescence can be flexibly tuned by controlling the incident light polarization.These results enrich TI optical physics and applications in highly efficient optical functionalities as well as artificial magnetic materials at high frequencies.Hua Lu Zengji Yue Yangwu Li Yinan Zhang Mingwen Zhang Wei Zeng Xuetao Gan Dong Mao Fajun Xiao Ting Mei Weiyao Zhao Xiaolin Wang Min Gu Jianlin Zhao 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:3

7Development of the novel ACLY inhibitor 326E as a promising treatment for hypercholesterolemia显示文摘Hepatic cholesterol accumulation is an important contributor to hypercholesterolemia,which results in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease(CVD).ATP-citrate lyase(ACLY)is a key lipogenic enzyme that converts cytosolic citrate derived from tricarboxylic acid cycle(TCA cycle)to acetyl-CoA in the cytoplasm.Therefore,ACLY represents a link between mitochondria oxidative phosphorylation and cytosolic de novo lipogenesis.In this study,we developed the small molecule 326E with an enedioic acid structural moiety as a novel ACLY inhibitor,and its CoA-conjugated form 326E-CoA inhibited ACLY activity with an IC_(50)=5.31±1.2μmol/L in vitro.326E treatment reduced de novo lipogenesis,and increased cholesterol efflux in vitro and in vivo.326E was rapidly absorbed after oral administration,exhibited a higher blood exposure than that of the approved ACLY inhibitor bempedoic acid(BA)used for hypercholesterolemia.Chronic 326E treatment in hamsters and rhesus monkeys resulted in remarkable improvement of hyperlipidemia.Once daily oral administration of 326E for 24 weeks prevented the occurrence of atherosclerosis in ApoE^(-/-)mice to a greater extent than that of BA treatment.Taken together,our data suggest that inhibition of ACLY by 326E represents a promising strategy for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia.Zhifu Xie Mei Zhang Qian Song Long Cheng Xinwen Zhang Gaolei Song Xinyu Sun Min Gu Chendong Zhou Yangming Zhang Kexin Zhu Jianpeng Yin Xiaoyan Chen Jingya Li Fajun Nan 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,2:1

10Sessile droplet freezing and ice adhesion on aluminum with different surface wettability and surface temperature显示文摘This paper focused on the sessile droplet freezing and ice adhesion on aluminum with different wettability(hydrophilic, common hydrophobic, and superhydrophobic surfaces, coded as HIS, CHS, SHS, respectively) over a surface temperature range of ?9°C to ?19°C. It was found that SHS could retard the sessile droplet freezing and lower the ice adhesion probably due to the interfacial air pockets(IAPs) on water/SHS interface. However, as surface temperature decreasing, some IAPs were squeezed out and such freezing retarding and adhesion lowering effect for SHS was reduced greatly. For a surface temperature of ?19°C, ice adhesion on SHS was even greater than that on CHS. To discover the reason for the squeezing out of IAPs, forces applied to the suspended water on IAPs were analyzed and it was found that the stability of IAPs was associated with surface micro-structures and surface temperature. 13Augmenting photoluminescence of monolayer MoS_(2) using high order modes in a metal dimer-on-film nanocavity显示文摘Plasmonic particle-on-film nanocavities,supporting gap modes with ultra-small volume,provide a great solution to boost light–matter interactions at the nanoscale.In this work,we report on the photoluminescence(PL)enhancement of monolayer MoS_(2) using high order modes of an Au nanosphere dimer-on-film nanocavity(DoFN).The high order plasmon modes,consisting of two bonding quadrupoles in the dimer and their images in the Au film,are revealed by combining the polarization-resolved scattering spectra with the numerical simulations.Further integrating the monolayer MoS_(2) into the DoFN,these high order modes are used to enhance PL intensity through simultaneously boosting the absorption and emission processes,producing a 1350-fold enhancement factor.It opens an avenue to enhance the light–matter interaction with high order plasmon modes and may find applications in future optoelectronics and nanophotonics devices.Shiyin Cao Liping Hou Qifa Wang Chenyang Li Weixing Yu Xuetao Gan Kaihui Liu Malin Premaratne Fajun Xiao Jianlin Zhao 2021Photonics Research2021,9,4:0
14Optical colorimetric LiTaO_(3)wafers for highprecision lithography on frequency control of SAW devices显示文摘Surface acoustic wave(SAW)resonators based on lithium tantalate(LT,LiTaO_(3))wafers are crucial elements of mobile communication filters.The use of intrinsic LT wafers typically brings about low fabrication accuracy of SAW resonators due to strong UV reflection in the lithography process.This hinders their resonance frequency control seriously in industrial manufacture.LT doping and chemical reduction could be applied to decrease the UV reflection of LT wafers for high lithographic precision.However,conventional methods fail to provide a fast and nondestructive approach to identify the UV performance of standard single-side polished LT wafers for highprecision frequency control.Here,we propose a convenient on-line sensing scheme based on the colorimetry of reduced Fe-doped LT wafers and build up an automatic testing system for industrial applications.The levels of Fe doping and chemical reduction are evaluated by the lightness and color difference of LT-based wafers.The correlation between the wafer visible colorimetry and UV reflection is established to refine the lithography process and specifically manipulate the frequency performance of SAW resonators.Our study provides a powerful tool for the fabrication control of SAW resonators and will inspire more applications on sophisticated devices of mobile communication.MING HUI FANG YINONG XIE FANGQI XUE ZHILIN WU JUN SHI SHENG YU YANG YILIN LIU ZHIHUANG LIU HSIN CHI WANG FAJUN LI QING HUO LIU JINFENG ZHU 2024Photonics Research2024,12,2:0
15In situ growth of NiSe_(2) nanocrystalline array on graphene for efficient hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Nickel selenide electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)with a high efficiency and a lowcost have a significant potential in the development of water splitting.However,the inferiority of the high overpotential and poor stability restricts their practical applications.Herein,a composite nanostructure consists of ultrasmall NiSe_(2) nanocrystals embedded on graphene by microwave reaction is reported.The prepared NiSe_(2)/reduced graphite oxide(rGO)electrocatalyst exhibited a high HER activity with an overpotential of 158 mV at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) and a corresponding moderate Tafel slope of 56 mV/dec in alkaline electrolyte.In addition,a high retention of electrochemical properties(approximately 100%)was demonstrated with an unchangeable microstructure after 100 h of continuous operation.Shuai JI Changgan LAI Huan ZHOU Helin WANG Ling MA Cong WANG Keying ZHANG Fajun LI Lixu LEI 2022Frontiers in Energy2022,16,4:0
16Research on the Q-value, Site Response and Seismic Source Parameters in Jiangsu and Its Adjacent Areas显示文摘Based on 49 digital seismograms recorded by 73 seismic stations in the Jiangsu Telemetered Seismic Network,the paper uses Atkinson's method to calculate the inelastic attenuation coefficient of the Jiangsu area. We find that the frequency-dependent Q in the Jiangsu region is Q( f) = 272. 1·f^(0. 5575). We also use Moya's method to invert the 63 stations' site responses. The results show that the site responses of the 25 stations in Jiangsu are approximately 1 at a range between 1Hz and 20 Hz, which is consistent with their basements on rocks. The response curves of the site responses of the 14 underground stations are similar to each other. Their site responses show an amplification at low frequencies and minimization at high frequencies. The calculation of the Brune model on the waveform data of M_L≥2. 5 earthquakes from Jiangsu Digital Seismic Network between October 2010 and May 2015 in terms of seismic source parameters of 58 seismic waves shows that there are good correlations between seismic magnitude and other source parameters such as seismic moment, source radius and corner frequency, while the correlations between seismic magnitude and stress drop,and stress drop and source radius are not so good.Kang Qingqing Gu Qinping Miao Fajun Zhang Jinchuan Zhou Kangya Yang Chi Li Zhengkai 2017Earthquake Research in China2017,31,2:0
