| 1 | Source localization based on symmetrical MUSIC and its statistical performance analysis显示文摘In this paper,a new method for fast direction-of-arrival(DOA) estimation with no dependance on array configurations is proposed,which is referred to as the symmetrical multiple signal classification(SMUSIC).Unlike the standard MUSIC,the S-MUSIC spatial spectrum is constructed by the intersection of the noise subspace and the conjugate noise subspace,and it hence generates spectral peaks at the true DOAs and the symmetrical virtual DOAs simultaneously.Such a characteristic allows fast DOA estimation by spectral search over only half of the total angular filed-of-view.Therefore,the new approach has a much lower computational complexity than the standard MUSIC.The statistical performance of S-MUSIC is studied and a close-form expression for the MSEs(mean square errors) of DOA estimation by the proposed estimator is derived.Numerical simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new algorithm and to verify the theoretical analysis,and it is indicated that S-MUSIC makes a trade-off between MSEs and lower computational complexity as well as an improved resolution for closely-spaced sources as compared to the standard MUSIC. | YAN FengGang JIN Ming QIAO XiaoLin | 2013 | Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,6: | 9 |

| 3 | Literature-based analysis on relationship of symptoms,drugs and therapies in treatment of intestinal diseases显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate clinical articles published in the past 30 years using the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory of the lung being connected with large intestine to treat intestinal diseases.We also analyzed the relationship between symptoms,drugs and therapies with data-excavating technology to aid management.METHODS:After retrieving relevant clinical articles,we set up a database,used Microsoft Structured Query Language Server 2005 Analysis Services as a data-excavating tool,and applied the association rule to study the relationship between the symptoms,drugs and therapies of intestinal diseases.RESULTS:The key symptoms of dyschesia,constipation,abdominal fullness,fatigue and pale tongue could be treated with Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum),Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici)and Gualou(Fructus et Semen Trichosanthis)to invigorate Qi and moisten the intestine.Among these agents,Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum)was used most frequently.Clearing Fu-organs was the most prevalent therapy for abdominal fullness,dyschesia,constipation and red tongue.Clearing Fu-organs could be achieved with Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum)and Gualou(Fructus et Semen Trichosanthis),whereas Qi could be invigorated using Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici),Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae),Baizhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae)and Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum).Moistening the intestine was possible with Kuxingren(SemenArmeniacae Amarum),Huomaren(Fructus Cannabis)and Jiegeng(Radix Platycodi).Also,moistening the lungs was done with Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum),ventilating the lungs with Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum)and Gualou(Fructus et Semen Trichosanthis),and nourishing the lungs with Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici),Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae)and Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum).These data demonstrated that Kuxingren(SemenArmeniacaeAmarum)was a key agent.CONCLUSION:Our analyses of the literature showed clear relationships between symptoms(constipation,dyschesia,abdominal fullness),drugs[Gualou(Fructus et Semen Trichosanthis),Kuxingren(Semen Armeniacae Amarum),Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici)]and therapies(moistening the intestine,clearing Fu-organs,invigorating Qi,ventilating the lungs). | Luan Gao Jian Wang Yong Deng Fenggang Li Sihua Gao | 2014 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,1: | 5 |

Our simulation indicates that the broadening of the full width at half maximum of the rocking curve of the double crystal monochromator induced by the heat load is about 3.7 μrad, and is in agreement with the experimental value of 5 μrad. | 7 | Computationally efficient direction finding using polynomial rooting with reduced-order and real-valued computations显示文摘The root multiple signal classification(root-MUSIC) algorithm is one of the most important techniques for direction of arrival(DOA) estimation. Using a uniform linear array(ULA) composed of M sensors, this method usually estimates L signal DOAs by finding roots that lie closest to the unit circle of a(2M-1)-order polynomial, where L < M. A novel efficient root-MUSIC-based method for direction estimation is presented, in which the order of polynomial is efficiently reduced to 2L. Compared with the unitary root-MUSIC(U-root-MUSIC) approach which involves real-valued computations only in the subspace decomposition stage, both tasks of subspace decomposition and polynomial rooting are implemented with real-valued computations in the new technique,which hence shows a significant efficiency advantage over most state-of-the-art techniques. | 8 | Supplement and optimization of classical capillary number experimental curve for enhanced oil recovery by combination flooding显示文摘In the middle of the last century,American scientists put forward the concept of capillary number and obtained the relation curve between capillary number and residual oil through experiments.They revealed that the corresponding residual oil saturation decreased with increasing of capillary number;after capillary number reached up to a limit,residual oil saturation would become stable and did not decrease.These important achievements laid a theoretical base for enhanced oil recovery with chemical flooding.On the basis of the theory,scholars developed chemical flooding numerical simulation software UTCHEM.During the numerical simulation study of combination flooding,the authors found that as the capillary number is higher than the limit capillary number,the changes of the residual oil saturation along with the capillary number differ from the classical capillary number curve.Oil displacement experiments prove that there are defects in classic capillary number experimental curve and it is necessary to mend and improve.Capillary number‘calculation’curve is obtained with a method of numerical simulation calculation and a complete description of capillary number curve is provided;On this basis,combination flooding capillary number experimental curve QL is obtained through experiments,which is different from the classical capillary curve;and based on which,an expression of corresponding combination flooding relative permeability curve QL is given and the corresponding relative permeability parameters are determined with experiments.Further oil displacement experiment research recognizes the cause of the singular changes of the capillary number curve.'Combination flooding capillary number experimental curve QL'and'combination flooding relative permeability curve QL'are written in combination flooding software IMCFS,providing an effective technical support for the application of combination flooding technical research. | QI LianQing LIU ZongZhao YANG ChengZhi YIN YanJun HOU JiRui ZHANG Jian HUANG Bo SHI FengGang | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,11: | 2 |
| 9 | Joint DOA and polarization estimation for unequal power sources based on reconstructed noise subspace显示文摘In most literature about joint direction of arrival(DOA) and polarization estimation, the case that sources possess different power levels is seldom discussed. However, this case exists widely in practical applications, especially in passive radar systems. In this paper, we propose a joint DOA and polarization estimation method for unequal power sources based on the reconstructed noise subspace. The invariance property of noise subspace(IPNS) to power of sources has been proved an effective method to estimate DOA of unequal power sources. We develop the IPNS method for joint DOA and polarization estimation based on a dual polarized array. Moreover, we propose an improved IPNS method based on the reconstructed noise subspace, which has higher resolution probability than the IPNS method. It is theoretically proved that the IPNS to power of sources is still valid when the eigenvalues of the noise subspace are changed artificially. Simulation results show that the resolution probability of the proposed method is enhanced compared with the methods based on the IPNS and the polarimetric multiple signal classification(MUSIC) method. | 10 | Effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the quantitative expression of P-gp, LRP, MRP, GST-π in NSCLC and its clinical significance显示文摘Background and objective Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) plays an important role in systemic chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). P-glycoprotein (P-gp), lung resistance related protein (LRP), multidrug resistance-associated protein (MRP) and glutathione S-transferase (GST-π) may be associated to drug resisitance to chemotherapy in NSCLC. The aim of this study is to investigate the expressions of P-gp, LRP, MRP and GST-π in samples from NSCLC patients before and after treatment with NACT, and their quantitative changes, so that to evaluate the influence of NACT on drug resistance to chemotherapy of NSCLC. Methods Total 92 specimens from 72 cases of NSCLC, including 52 samples of surgery excision from non-NACT-treated patients and 20 paired samples before and after NACT from the same patient, were studied. The expression of P-gp, LRP, MRP and GST-π was detected with tissue chip technique and immunohistochemistry. The quantitative analysis was carried out by computer image analysis system. Results In the samples before NACT, the positive rate of P-gp, LRP, MRP, GST-π expression was 66.67% (48/72), 72.22% (52/72), 81.94% (59/72), 83.33% (60/72), respectively. The expressive intensity of P-gp, LRP and GST-π was significantly stronger in adenocarcinoma than that in squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.05, P<0.001, P<0.001, respectively); there was no significant difference in the expression of MRP between adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma (P>0.05). In samples after treatment with NACT, the expression of P-gp, GST-π demonstrated by average optical density (AOD) and integral optical density (IOD) were significantly higher (P<0.05, P<0.001 respectively) than that in biopsied samples taken before NACT; The change in expression of P-gp, GST-π was also showed difference by different histopathological types, differentiations, ages, sizes, clinical stages as well as lymph node metastasis or not (P<0.05 or P<0.001). There was no significant difference between samples taken before and after NACT (P>0.05) in the expression of LRP and MRP demonstrated by both of AOD and IOD. Conclusion The results suggest that drug resistance in adenocarcinoma is primarily stronger than that in squamous cell carcinoma. NACT may enhance acquired drug resistance of NSCLC through inducing the expression of drug resistance protein. The results indicate that acquired drug resistance must be considered with the application of NACT to NSCLC patient in clinic, especially to patient in stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ. Since NACT may lead to the enhancement of acquired drug resistance in stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ, this may dwindle the therapeutic effect of chemotherapy after surgery. | 11 | SVD-Based Low-Complexity Methods for Computing the Intersection of K≥2 Subspaces显示文摘Given the orthogonal basis(or the projections) of no less than two subspaces in finite dimensional spaces, we propose two novel algorithms for computing the intersection of those subspaces. By constructing two matrices using cumulative multiplication and cumulative sum of those projections, respectively, we prove that the intersection equals to the null spaces of the two matrices. Based on such a mathematical fact,we show that the orthogonal basis of the intersection can be efficiently computed by performing singular value decompositions on the two matrices with much lower complexity than most state-of-the-art methods including alternate projection method. | 13 | Injectable Self‑Healing Adhesive pH‑Responsive Hydrogels Accelerate Gastric Hemostasis and Wound Healing显示文摘Endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)and endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)are well-established therapeutics for gastrointestinal neoplasias,but complications after EMR/ESD,including bleeding and perforation,result in additional treatment morbidity and even threaten the lives of patients.Thus,designing biomaterials to treat gastric bleeding and wound healing after endoscopic treatment is highly desired and remains a challenge.Herein,a series of injectable pH-responsive selfhealing adhesive hydrogels based on acryloyl-6-aminocaproic acid(AA)and AA-g-N-hydroxysuccinimide(AA-NHS)were developed,and their great potential as endoscopic sprayable bioadhesive materials to efficiently stop hemorrhage and promote the wound healing process was further demonstrated in a swine gastric hemorrhage/wound model.The hydrogels showed a suitable gelation time,an autonomous and efficient self-healing capacity,hemostatic properties,and good biocompatibility.With the introduction of AA-NHS as a micro-cross-linker,the hydrogels exhibited enhanced adhesive strength.A swine gastric hemorrhage in vivo model demonstrated that the hydrogels showed good hemostatic performance by stopping acute arterial bleeding and preventing delayed bleeding.A gastric wound model indicated that the hydrogels showed excellent treatment effects with significantly enhanced wound healing with type I collagen deposition,α-SMA expression,and blood vessel formation.These injectable self-healing adhesive hydrogels exhibited great potential to treat gastric wounds after endoscopic treatment. | Jiahui He Zixi Zhang Yutong Yang Fenggang Ren Jipeng Li Shaojun Zhu Feng Ma Rongqian Wu Yi Lv Gang He Baolin Guo Dake Chu | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5: | 1 |
