| 1 | Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating of meta-diorite from the basement of the Songliao Basin and its geological significance显示文摘The basement of the Songliao Basin mainly contains low-grade metamorphic rocks and granites. It has been long disputed whether the basin has Precambrian metamorphic basement. This is a report of zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating results of a meta-diorite sample, which was taken from the Si-5 drilling hole in the southern portion of the Songliao Basin. The SHRIMP analyses indicate that the meta-diorite with a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 1839±7 Ma (2σ, n = 8) was emplaced during Paleo-Proterozoic time. Additionally, the meta-diorite has old Nd model ages (TDM1: 2999Ma; TDM2: 2849Ma). | 3 | Highly Selective Biomimetic Flexible Tactile Sensor for Neuroprosthetics显示文摘Biomimetic flexible tactile sensors endow prosthetics with the ability to manipulate objects,similar to human hands.However,it is still a great challenge to selectively respond to static and sliding friction forces,which is crucial tactile information relevant to the perception of weight and slippage during grasps.Here,inspired by the structure of fingerprints and the selective response of Ruffini endings to friction forces,we developed a biomimetic flexible capacitive sensor to selectively detect static and sliding friction forces.The sensor is designed as a novel plane-parallel capacitor,in which silver nanowire-3D polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)electrodes are placed in a spiral configuration and set perpendicular to the substrate.Silver nanowires are uniformly distributed on the surfaces of 3D polydimethylsiloxane microcolumns,and silicon rubber(Ecoflex^(■))acts as the dielectric material.The capacitance of the sensor remains nearly constant under different applied normal forces but increases with the static friction force and decreases when sliding occurs.Furthermore,aiming at the slippage perception of neuroprosthetics,a custom-designed signal encoding circuit was designed to transform the capacitance signal into a bionic pulsed signal modulated by the applied sliding friction force.Test results demonstrate the great potential of the novel biomimetic flexible sensors with directional and dynamic sensitivity of haptic force for smart neuroprosthetics. | Yue Li Zhiguang Cao Tie Li Fuqin Sun Yuanyuan Bai Qifeng Lu Shuqi Wang Xianqing Yang Manzhao Hao Ning Lan Ting Zhang | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 4 |
| 4 | Effects of different loading rates and types of biochar on passivations of Cu and Zn via swine manure composting显示文摘Pollution of arable land caused by heavy metals in livestock and poultry manure has become a potential threaten to human health in China.Safe disposal of the contained toxic pollution with animal manure by co-composting with biochar is one of the alternative methods.Biochars from different sources(wheat straw,peanut shells and rice husks)amended with different loading rates were investigated for passivations of copper and zinc(Cu and Zn)in swine manure composting.Results showed that the passivation effects of the three types of biochar on Cu and Zn were enhanced with increasing biochar dose.Contents of Cu and Zn measured by diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA)and Community Bureau of Reference(CBR)showed that wheat straw biochar with the loading rates of 10%–13%(w/w)was superior to the other two types of biochar in this study.Compared with the control,sample from wheat straw biochar was more favorable for the bacterial growth of Proteobacteria,Firmicutes and Actinobacteria.In addition,pot experiment showed that organic fertilizer amended with wheat straw biochar could significantly improve the growth of Chinese pakchoi and enzyme activities(superoxide dismutase,peroxidase,polyphenol oxidase and catalase)as compared with the control.Cu and Zn contents of Chinese pakchoi in the organic fertilizer group containing wheat straw biochar reduced by 73.2%and 45.2%,65.8%and 33.6%,respectively,compared with the group without loading biochar.There was no significant difference in the contents of vitamin C and reducing sugar between the groups of organic fertilizer amended with/without wheat straw biochar,however,there was significant difference compared with the heavy metal addition group.The application of organic fertilizer formed by adding biochar can effectively reduce the adverse effects of heavy metals on crops. | CHEN Yan XU Yongping QU Fangjing HOU Fuqin CHEN Hongli LI Xiaoyu | 2020 | Journal of Arid Land2020,12,6: | 3 |
| 5 | Biological receptor-inspired flexible artificial synapse based on ionic dynamics显示文摘The memristor has been regarded as a promising candidate for constructing a neuromorphic computing platform that is capable of confronting the bottleneck of the traditional von Neumann architecture.Here,inspired by the working mechanism of the G-protein-linked receptor of biological cells,a novel double-layer memristive device with reduced graphene oxide(rGO)nanosheets covered by chitosan(an ionic conductive polymer)as the channel material is constructed.The protons in chitosan and the functional groups in rGO nanosheets imitate the functions of the ligands and receptors of biological cells,respectively.Smooth changes in the response current depending on the historical applied voltages are observed,offering a promising pathway toward biorealistic synaptic emulation.The memristive behavior is mainly a result of the interaction between protons provided by chitosan and the defects and functional groups in the rGO nanosheets.The channel current is due to the hopping of protons through functional groups and is limited by the traps in the rGO nanosheets.The transition from short-term to long-term potentiation is achieved,and learning-forgetting behaviors of the memristor mimicking those of the human brain are demonstrated.Overall,the bioinspired memristor-type artificial synaptic device shows great potential in neuromorphic networks. | Qifeng Lu Fuqin Sun Lin Liu Lianhui Li Yingyi Wang Mingming Hao Zihao Wang Shuqi Wang Ting Zhang | 2020 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2020,6,1: | 2 |
| 6 | Trimetallic Au@PdPt core-shell nanoparticles with ultrathin PdPt skin as highly stable electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction in acid solution显示文摘To design efficient and low-cost core-shell electrocatalysts with an ultrathin platinum shell, the balance between platinum dosage and durability in acid solution is of great importance. In the present work, trimetallic Au@PdPt core-shell nanoparticles(NPs)with Pd/Pt molar ratios ranging from 0.31:1 to 4.20:1 were synthesized based on the Au catalytic reduction strategy and the subsequent metallic replacement reaction. When the Pd/Pt molar ratio is 1.19:1(designated as Au@Pd_(1.19) Pt_1 NPs), the superior electrochemical activity and stability were achieved for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) in acid solution. Especially, the specific and mass activities of Au@Pd_(1.19) Pt_1 NPs are 1.31 and 6.09 times higher than those of commercial Pt/C catalyst. In addition, the Au@Pd_(1.19) Pt_1 NPs presented a good durability in acid solution. After 3000 potential cycles between 0.1 and 0.7 V(vs. Ag/AgCl), the oxygen reduction activity is almost unchanged. | 8 | Bio-inspired flexible artificial synapses for pain perception and nerve injuries显示文摘Imitation of the perception system of living creatures is of great importance for the construction of artificial nerves and intelligent human-machine interfaces.However,a prominent challenge is to emulate the functions of the biological synapse,which is the basic building block of the neural system.Here,inspired by the pain perception mechanism of the living creatures,a flexible double-layer memristor was constructed,with 90%semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes(s-SWCNTs)covered by LiClO4 doped polyoxyethylene oxide(PEO:LiClO4)as the channel materials.The carriers(protons and Li+)from PEO:LiClO4 imitated the functions of Na+and K+in biological systems.A potentiation of the post-synaptic signal was observed with mild stimuli,while the post-synaptic signal was inhibited with severe stimuli with a pulse voltage larger than 1.4 V in this research.These behaviors resemble the sensation of pain,neuroprotection,and possible injuries to the neural system.To explore the underlying mechanism of the phenomenon,the fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Raman spectrum,and current(IV)sweep were carried out.It was inferred that the observed results are attributable to the interaction between carriers in PEO:LiClO4 and functional groups and defects in the s-SWCNTs.The enhanced channel current results from the fulfillment of the traps by the carriers,and the suppression of the current is due to the intercalation of Li+in the s-SWCNTs.This flexible artificial synapse opens a new avenue for the construction of biocompatible electronic devices towards artificial intelligence systems. | Qifeng Lu Fuqin Sun Lin Liu Lianhui Li Mingming Hao Zihao Wang Ting Zhang | 2020 | npj Flexible Electronics2020,4,1: | 1 |
