Ultrasmall Fe-doped carbon dots nanozymes for photoenhanced antibacterial therapy and wound healing显示文摘Pathogenic bacteria pose a devastating threat to public health. However, because of the growing bacterial antibiotic resistance, there is an urgent need to develop alternative antibacterial strategies to the established antibiotics.Herein,iron-doped carbon dots(Fe-CDs,~3 nm)nanozymes with excellent photothermal conversion and photoenhanced enzyme-like properties are developed through a facile one-pot pyrolysis approach for synergistic efficient antibacterial therapy and wound healing. In particular,Fe doping endows CDs with photoenhanced peroxidase(POD)-like activity, which lead to the generation of heat and reactive oxygen species(ROS)for Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria killing. This study demonstrates Fe-CDs have significant wound healing efficiency of Fe-CDs by preventing infection, promoting fibroblast proliferation, angiogenesis, and collagen deposition.Furthermore, the ultrasmall size of Fe-CDs possesses good biocompatibility favoring clinical translation. We believe that the nanozyme-mediated therapeutic platform presented here is expected to show promising applications in antibacterial. | Yunhang Liu Bolong Xu Mingzhu Lu Shanshan Li Juan Guo Fangzhou Chen Xiaolu Xiong Zhe Yin Huiyu Liu Dongsheng Zhou | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,6: | 7
Ultrabithorax is a key regulator for the dimorphism of wings,a main cause for the outbreak of planthoppers in rice显示文摘Rice planthoppers, the most devastating rice pests, occur in two wing forms:the short-wing form for rapid population growth and long-wing form for long-distance migration, which together create the mechanism for outbreak. Here we show that Ultrabithorax(Ubx)is a key regulator for switching between the long-and short-wing forms of rice planthoppers.Ubx is expressed in both forewing and hindwing pads, which is different from the canonical model of Ubx expression. In brown planthoppers, expression of Ubx(Nl Ubx)is regulated by nutritional status of the rice host.High-quality young plants induce Nl Ubx expression leading to the short-wing form;low-quality ripe plants reduce Nl Ubx expression resulting in long-wing form.We also showed that Nl Ubx is regulated by the insulin receptors Nl In R1 and Nl In R2.The default expression of Nl In R1 inhibits Nl Ubx resulting in long-wings,while high-quality hosts induce Nl In R2 expression, which represses Nl In R1 thus promoting Nl Ubx expression to produce short-wings. | Fangzhou Liu Xiang Li Muhua Zhao Mengjian Guo Kehong Han Xinxin Dong Jing Zhao Wanlun Cai Qifa Zhang Hongxia Hua | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,7: | 5
A survey of network anomaly visualization显示文摘Network anomaly analysis is an emerging subtopic of network security. Network anomaly refers to the unusual behavior of network devices or suspicious network status. A number of intelligent visual tools are developed to enhance the ability of network security analysts in understanding the original data, ultimately solving network security problems. This paper surveys current progress and trends in network anomaly visualization. By providing an overview of network anomaly data, visualization tasks, and applications, we further elaborate on existing methods to depict various data features of network alerts, anomalous traffic, and attack patterns data. Directions for future studies are outlined at the end of this paper. | Tianye ZHANG Xumeng WANG Zongzhuang LI Fangzhou GUO Yuxin MA Wei CHEN | 2017 | Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,12: | 3
An Online Visualization System for Streaming Log Data of Computing Clusters显示文摘Monitoring a computing cluster requires collecting and understanding log data generated at the core, computer, and cluster levels at run time. Visualizing the log data of a computing cluster is a challenging problem due to the complexity of the underlying dataset: it is streaming, hierarchical, heterogeneous, and multi-sourced. This paper presents an integrated visualization system that employs a two-stage streaming process mode. Prior to the visual display of the multi-sourced information, the data generated from the clusters is gathered, cleaned, and modeled within a data processor. The visualization supported by a visual computing processor consists of a set of multivariate and time variant visualization techniques, including time sequence chart, treemap, and parallel coordinates. Novel techniques to illustrate the time tendency and abnormal status are also introduced. We demonstrate the effectiveness and scalability of the proposed system framework on a commodity cloud-computing platform. | Jing Xia Feiran Wu Fangzhou Guo Cong Xie Zhen Liu Wei Chen | 2013 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2013,18,2: | 2

The structural characteristics of precipitation in Asian-Pacific's three monsoon regions measured by tropical rainfall measurement mission显示文摘The three-dimensional structure of precipitation on a seasonal scale in the Asian-Pacific's three monsoon regions is investigated based on the tropical rainfall measurement mission(TRMM) data. The results show that:(1) The maximum seasonal variation of the relative proportional difference of convective precipitation and stratiform rain occurs in the East Asian monsoon region, the second occurs in the Indian monsoon region, and the minimum is in the northwest Pacific monsoon region. In both the northwest Pacific monsoon region and the Indian monsoon region, the convective rain is proportionately larger than stratiform rain in all four seasons.(2) Cloud ice reaches its maximum at around 9 km. Cloud water's maximum range is between 3 and 4 km. The large value area of precipitation ice is mainly between 4 and 9 km. The precipitation water particle is concentrated mostly below 4 km. The largest content is from the ground to 2 km.(3) The most remarkable variance of the content of cloud ice in the Indian monsoon region occurs from spring to winter, and the content of cloud water in the northwest Pacific is always higher than that in the other two regions.(4) The latent heat profile has a similar double-peak structure. The first peak is at 4 km and the second peak is at 2 km. In autumn and winter, the latent heat is higher in the northwest Pacific than in other two regions. In all three regions, the release of the latent heat is higher in summer and autumn than in spring and winter. | LI Jiangnan ZHENG Yanping LI Fangzhou GUO Feiyun LI Weibiao | 2014 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,3: | 1
Gold nanoparticles combat enveloped RNA virus by affecting organelle dynamics显示文摘Enveloped RNA viruses are a group of viruses with an outer membrane derived from a host cell and a genome consisting of ribonucleic acid(RNA).These viruses rely on host cell machinery and organelles to replicate and assemble new virus particles. However, the interaction between viruses and host organelles may be disrupted by nanomaterials, such as gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)with unique physical and chemical properties. In this study,we investigated the effects of AuNPs with different surface charge properties on the subcellular structure and function of mammalian cells, and their effects on two representative enveloped RNA viruses:lentivirus and human coronavirus OC43(HCoV-OC43)antiviral potential.By comparing the subcellular effects of AuNPs with different surface charge properties,we found that treatment with AuNPs with positive surface charges induced more significant disruption of subcellular structures than neutrally charged AuNPs and negatively charged AuNPs,mainly manifested in lysosomes and Cytoskeletal disorders. The antiviral effect of the surface positively charged AuNPs was further evaluated using lentivirus and HCoV-OC43.The results showed that AuNPs had a significant inhibitory effect on both lentivirus and HCoV-OC43 without obvious side effects. In conclusion, our study provides insights into the mechanism of action and biocompatibility of AuNP in biological systems, while supporting the potential of targeting organelle dynamics against enveloped RNA viruses. | Fangzhou Li Qianqian Huang Ziran Zhou Qiongge Guan Fei Ye Baoying Huang Weisheng Guo Xing-Jie Liang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9: | 0
Visual Exploration of Differences Among DTI Fiber Models显示文摘In-vivo studies of fibrous structures require non-invasive tools, of which one is fiber tracking based on Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) datasets. Different fiber models can be produced from different DTI images, which may vary from subject to subject due to variations in anatomy, motions in scanning, and signal noises. Additionally, parameters of the tracking method also have a great influence on resulting models. Illustrating, exploring, and analyzing differences among DTI fiber models are crucial for the purposes of group comparison, atlas construction, and uncertainty analysis. Conventional approaches illustrate fiber models in 3D space and explore differences either voxel-wisely or fiber-based. However, these approaches rely on accurate alignment processes and may easily be disturbed by visual clutters. We introduce a two-phase pro jection technique to illustrate a complex 3D fiber model with a unique 2D map to characterize features for further exploration and analysis. Moreover, regions of significant differences among the maps are marked out. In these 2D maps, differences can be easily distinguished without occlusions that often occur in 3D spaces. To facilitate comparative analysis from multiple perspectives, we design an interface for interactive exploration. The effectiveness of our approach is evaluated with two datasets. | MEI Honghui GUO Fangzhou CHEN Haidong CHEN Yi CHEN Wei | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,5: | 0
