| 2 | Prognosis of lymphotropic invasive micropapillary breast carcinoma analyzed by using data from the National Cancer Database显示文摘Background:Invasive micropapillary carcinoma(IMPC)is an uncommon subtype of breast cancer.Previous studies of this subtype demonstrated a higher propensity for lymph node metastases as compared with invasive ductal carci-noma(IDC).The purpose of the present study was to determine the clinical characteristics,outcomes,and propensity for lymph node metastasis of patients with IMPC of the breast recorded in the National Cancer Database(NCDB).Methods:Records of patients with IMPC diagnosed between 2004 and 2014 were retrieved from the NCDB.Log-rank test was performed to evaluate associations of clinical characteristics with overall survival(OS).Cox proportional hazards model was used to determine variables associated with OS.Results:Overall,2660 patients with IMPC met the selection criteria;the 5-year OS rate was 87.5%and 24.9%of patients had nodal involvement at presentation.Patients with≥4 positive lymph nodes had shorter OS than node-negative patients,whereas patients with 1-3 positive nodes had similar OS to node-negative patients.Age<65 years,receipt of radiotherapy,and estrogen receptor positivity were also associated with prolonged OS.The benefit of radiotherapy was limited to IMPC patients undergoing lumpectomy;there was no benefit for the patients undergoing mastectomy(regardless of nodal positivity/negativity).Conclusions:Favorable prognostic factors of IMPC patients included age<65 years,<4 positive lymph nodes,receipt of radiotherapy,and estrogen receptor positivity.The results presented herein suggest a survival benefit asso-ciated with radiotherapy in IMPC treatment,though this may be limited to the patients treated with lumpectomy. | Gary D.Lewis Yan Xing Waqar Haque Tejal Patel Mary Schwartz Albert Chen Andrew Farach Sandra S.Hatch E.Brian Butler Jenny Chang Bin S.Teh | 2019 | Cancer Communications2019，39，1： | 7 |
| 3 | Long-term observation of the mineral trioxide aggregate extrusion into the periapical lesion:a case series显示文摘One-step apexification using mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) has been reported as an alternative treatment modality with more benefits than the use of long-term calcium hydroxide for teeth with open apex. However, orthograde placement of MTA is a challenging procedure in terms of length control. This case series describes the sequence of events following apical extrusion of MTA into the periapical area during a one-step apexification procedure for maxillary central incisor with an infected immature apex. Detailed long-term observation revealed complete resolution of the periapical radiolucent lesion around the extruded MTA. These cases revealed that direct contact with MTA had no negative effects on healing of the periapical tissues. | 5 | MOF-Like 3D Graphene-Based Catalytic Membrane Fabricated by One-Step Laser Scribing for Robust Water Purification and Green Energy Production显示文摘Increasing both clean water and green energy demands for survival and development are the grand challenges of our age.Here,we successfully fabricate a novel multifunctional 3D graphene-based catalytic membrane(3D-GCM)with active metal nanoparticles(AMNs)loading for simultaneously obtaining the water purification and clean energy generation,via a“green”one-step laser scribing technology.The as-prepared 3D-GCM shows high porosity and uniform distribution with AMNs,which exhibits high permeated fluxes(over 100 L m^(−2) h^(−1))and versatile super-adsorption capacities for the removal of tricky organic pollutants from wastewater under ultra-low pressure-driving(0.1 bar).After adsorption saturating,the AMNs in 3D-GCM actuates the advanced oxidization process to self-clean the fouled membrane via the catalysis,and restores the adsorption capacity well for the next time membrane separation.Most importantly,the 3D-GCM with the welding of laser scribing overcomes the lateral shear force damaging during the long-term separation.Moreover,the 3D-GCM could emit plentiful of hot electrons from AMNs under light irradiation,realizing the membrane catalytic hydrolysis reactions for hydrogen energy generation.This“green”precision manufacturing with laser scribing technology provides a feasible technology to fabricate high-efficient and robust 3D-GCM microreactor in the tricky wastewater purification and sustainable clean energy production as well. | Xinyu Huang Liheng Li Shuaifei Zhao Lei Tong Zheng Li Zhuiri Peng Runfeng Lin Li Zhou Chang Peng Kan-Hao Xue Lijuan Chen Gary J.Cheng Zhu Xiong Lei Ye | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022，14，11： | 2 |

| 7 | Comprehensive review of autoantibodies in patients with hyper-IgM syndrome显示文摘Hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome is an X-linked primary immunodeficiency disease caused by mutations in the CD40 ligand gene.The CD40 ligand has been recently highlighted as playing a key role in the pathogenesis of primary biliary cholangitis.In the present study,we assessed an extensive set of serum autoantibodies in a series of well-defined patients with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome.Serum,liver-related and liver-not-related autoantibodies IgG,IgM and IgA were tested by ELISA and standard indirect immunofluorescence in HEp-2 cells in 13 Tunisian patients(8 males and 5 females,aged 1–12 years)with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome during 1995–2012 and,as controls,21 age-and gender-matched blood donors.The level of IgM antibody against MIT3 was significantly higher in patients than in controls(35.8 vs 10.7,P=0.002).Half of the hyperimmunoglobulin M syndrome patients were found to be anti-MIT3 IgM positive vs none of the controls(Po0.0001).Twenty-three percent of patients were found to be anti-sp100 antibody positive vs only 0.05%of controls.By immunofluorescence,92.3%of patients were MIT3 IgM positive vs none of the controls.In conclusion,the IgM class of anti-MIT3 antibodies was shown to be present by both ELISA and immunofluorescence in most of the patients with hyper-immunoglobulin M syndrome.The presence of the hallmark of primary biliary cholangitis,a disease where the CD40 ligand is a key player,in an immunodeficiency disease caused by mutations in the CD40 ligand gene is very intriguing and opens new scenarios in understanding the immune pathogenesis of primary biliary cholangitis. | Mohamed-Ridha Barbouche Qubo Chen Marco Carbone Imen Ben-Mustapha Zakera Shums Mehdi Trifa Federica Malinverno Francesca Bernuzzi Haiyan Zhang Nourhen Agrebi Gary L Norman Christopher Chang M Eric Gershwin Pietro Invernizzi | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018，15，6： | 2 |
