| 2 | Sparse Representation for Face Recognition Based on Constraint Sampling and Face Alignment显示文摘Sparse Representation based Classification (SRC) has emerged as a new paradigm for solving recognition problems. This paper presents a constraint sampling feature extraction method that improves the SRC recognition rate. The method combines texture and shape features to significantly improve the recognition rate. | 3 | Induction of jasmonic acid biosynthetic genes inhibits Arabidopsis growth in response to low boron显示文摘The essential micronutrient boron(B) has key roles in cell wall integrity and B deficiency inhibits plant growth. The role of jasmonic acid(JA) in plant growth inhibition under B deficiency remains unclear. Here,we report that low B elevates JA biosynthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana by inducing the expression of JA biosynthesis genes. Treatment with JA inhibited plant growth and, a JA biosynthesis inhibitor enhanced plant growth, indicating that the JA induced by B deficiency affects plant growth. Furthermore,examination of the JA signaling mutants jasmonate resistant1, coronatine insensitive1-2, and myc2 showed that JA signaling negatively regulates plant growth under B deficiency. We identified a low-B responsive transcription factor, ERF018, and used yeast one-hybrid assays and transient activation assays in Nicotiana benthamiana leaf cells to demonstrate that ERF018 activates the expression of JA biosynthesis genes. ERF018 overexpression(OE)lines displayed stunted growth and up-regulation of JA biosynthesis genes under normal B conditions,compared to Col-0 and the difference between ERF018 OE lines and Col-0 diminished under low B.These results suggest that ERF018 enhances JA biosynthesis and thus negatively regulates plant growth. | 4 | Towards a better recording of microtubule cytoskeletal spatial organization and dynamics in plant cells显示文摘Numerous fluorescent marker lines are currently available to visualize microtubule(MT)architecture and dynamics in living plant cells, such as markers expressing p35S::GFP-MBD or p35S::GFP-TUB6.However, these MT marker lines display obvious defects that affect plant growth or produce unstable fluorescent signals. Here, a series of new marker lines were developed, including the pTUB6::VisGreen-TUB6-expressing line in which TUB6 is under the control of its endogenous regulatory elements and e GFP is replaced with VisGreen, a brighter fluorescent protein. | 5 | Nd-doped structurally disordered YSr_(3)(PO_(4))_(3) single crystal:Growth and laser performances显示文摘Disordered-structure crystals have drawn increasing attention as promising ultrashort laser material hosts owing to their broad linewidth.Herein,a novel disordered Nd:YSr_(3)(PO_(4))_(3)(Nd:YSP)crystal with good quality was successfully grown via the Czochralski pulling technique.The absorption and fluorescence spectra of the Nd:YSP single crystal were recorded at ambient temperature.The maximum absorption cross section for Nd:YSP single crystal is found to be approximately 3.89×10^(-20) cm^(2).The stimulated emission cross section for Nd:YSP crystal at~1060 nm was determined to be 7.64×10^(20) cm^(2) with the full width half maximum value of 22 nm.The fluorescence lifetime of the Nd3+ions in the Nd:YSP crystal is fitted to be 288μs.Diode-pumped continuous-wave laser operation is firstly realized at approximately 1060 nm.The maximum output power value from the Nd:YSP crystal is 714 mW,corresponding to a slope efficiency of-12.8%.The results indicate that the Nd:YSP crystal with a disordered structure may be a promising disordered laser host. | Guangda Wu Xiaoqin Yin Mengdi Fan Fapeng Yu Shuzhen Fan Zhengping Wang Xian Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12: | 2 |

| 14 | Template directed perovskite X-ray detectors towards low ionic migration and low interpixel cross talking显示文摘The metal halide perovskites exhibit excellent performance as the direct X-ray detectors owing to their strong absorption capability,long carrier lifetime and diffusion length,radiation ruggedness,etc.For imaging applications,the ionic migration of perovskites and charge sharing effect between the adjacent pixels have a significantly negative impact on the spatial resolution.Herein,for the first time,the porous anodic aluminum oxides(AAO)have been used as a template to grow the CsPbBr2I thick film for the direct X-ray detection.Benefiting from the oxygen passivation effect,the activation energy for ionic migration has been observed to increase to 0.701 eV,whereas the dark current drift(1.01×10^(-5)nA cm^(-1)s^(-1)V^(-1))is one to two orders of magnitude lower than the other lead halide perovskite single crystals and films.Moreover,the AAO insulating wall effectively blocks the charge diffusion effect across a pixel pitch of 10^m.Overall,the findings reported in this study open a new route for reducing the ionic migration and pixel crosstalk,thus,bringing the perovskite X-ray detectors close to the practical applications. | Menghua Zhu Xinyuan Du Guangda Niu Weiwei Liu Weicheng Pan Jincong Pang Wenyu Wang Chao Chen Yadong Xu Jiang Tang | 2022 | Fundamental Research2022,2,1: | 0 |
