3Chronosequencing methanogenic archaea in ancient Longji rice Terraces in China显示文摘Chronosequences of ancient rice terraces serve as an invaluable archive for reconstructions of historical human-environment interactions. Presently, however, these reconstructions are based on traditional soil physico-chemical properties. The microorganisms in palaeosols have been unexplored. We hypothesized that microbial information can be used as an additional proxy to complement and consolidate archaeological interpretations. To test this hypothesis, the palaeoenvironmental methanogenic archaeal DNA in Longji Terraces, one of the famous ancient terraces in China, dating back to the late Yuan Dynasty(CE1361–1406), was chronosequenced by high-throughput sequencing. It was found that the methanogenic archaeal abundance, diversity and community composition were closely associated with the 630 years of rice cultivation and in line with changes in multi-proxy data. Particularly, the centennial-and decadalscale influences of known historical events, including social turbulences(The Taiping Rebellion, CE1850–1865), palaeoclimate changes(the Little Ice Age) and recorded natural disasters(earthquakes and inundation), on ancient agricultural society were clearly echoed in the microbial archives as variations in alpha and beta diversity. 4Boosting Lean Electrolyte Lithium-Sulfur Battery Performance with Transition Metals: A Comprehensive Review显示文摘Lithium–sulfur(Li–S) batteries have received widespread attention, and lean electrolyte Li–S batteries have attracted additional interest because of their higher energy densities. This review systematically analyzes the effect of the electrolyte-to-sulfur(E/S) ratios on battery energy density and the challenges for sulfur reduction reactions(SRR) under lean electrolyte conditions. Accordingly, we review the use of various polar transition metal sulfur hosts as corresponding solutions to facilitate SRR kinetics at low E/S ratios(< 10 μL mg~(-1)), and the strengths and limitations of different transition metal compounds are presented and discussed from a fundamental perspective. Subsequently, three promising strategies for sulfur hosts that act as anchors and catalysts are proposed to boost lean electrolyte Li–S battery performance. 6Global nitrogen input on wetland ecosystem:The driving mechanism of soil labile carbon and nitrogen on greenhouse gas emissions显示文摘Greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands are significantly promoted by global nitrogen input for changing the rate of soil carbon and nitrogen cycling,and are substantially affected by soil labile carbon and nitrogen conversely.However,the driving mechanism by which soil labile carbon and nitrogen affect greenhouse gas emissions from wetland ecosystems under global nitrogen input is not well understood.Working out the driving factor of nitrogen input on greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands is critical to reducing global warming from nitrogen input.Thus,we synthesized 72 published studies(2144 paired observations)of greenhouse gas fluxes and soil labile compounds of carbon and nitrogen(ammonium,nitrate,dissolved organic carbon,soil microbial biomass nitrogen and carbon),to understand the effects of labile carbon and nitrogen on greenhouse gas emissions under global nitrogen input.Across the data set,nitrogen input significantly promoted carbon dioxide,methane and nitrous oxide emissions from wetlands.In particular,at lower nitrogen rates(<100 kg ha^(-1)$·yr^(-1))and with added ammonium compounds,freshwater wetland significantly promoted carbon dioxide and methane emissions.Peatland was the largest nitrous oxide source under these conditions.This meta-analysis also revealed that nitrogen input stimulated dissolved organic carbon,ammonium,nitrate,microbial biomass carbon and microbial biomass nitrogen accumulation in the wetland ecosystem.The variation-partitioning analysis and structural equation model were used to analyze the relationship between the greenhouse gas and labile carbon and nitrogen further.These results revealed that dissolved organic carbon(DOC)is the primary factor driving greenhouse gas emission from wetlands under global nitrogen input,whereas microbial biomass carbon(MBC)more directly affects greenhouse gas emission than other labile carbon and nitrogen.Mengli Chen Lian Chang Junmao Zhang Fucheng Guo Jan Vymazal Qiang He Yi Chen 2020Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2020,,4:2

15An Entity-Association-Based Matrix Factorization Recommendation Algorithm显示文摘Collaborative filtering is the most popular approach when building recommender systems,but the large scale and sparse data of the user-item matrix seriously affect the recommendation results.Recent research shows the user’s social relations information can improve the quality of recommendation.However,most of the current social recommendation algorithms only consider the user's direct social relations,while ignoring potential users’interest preference and group clustering information.Moreover,project attribute is also important in item rating.We propose a recommendation algorithm which using matrix factorization technology to fuse user information and project information together.We first detect the community structure using overlapping community discovery algorithm,and mine the clustering information of user interest preference by a fuzzy clustering algorithm based on the project category information.On the other hand,we use project-category attribution matrix and user-project score matrix to get project comprehensive similarity and compute project feature matrix based on Entity Relation Decomposition.Fusing the user clustering information and project information together,we get Entity-Association-based Matrix Factorization(EAMF)model which can be used to predict user ratings.The proposed algorithm is compared with other algorithms on the Yelp dataset.Experimental studies show that the proposed algorithm leads to a substantial increase in recommendation accuracy on Yelp data set.Gongshen Liu Kui Meng Jiachen Ding Jan P.Nees Hongyi Guo Xuewen Zhang 2019Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,1:1
