| 2 | Hydrocarbon generation characteristics and exploration prospects of Proterozoic source rocks in China显示文摘A large number of primary oil and gas reservoirs have been discovered in Proterozoic strata all over the globe.Proterozoic sequences are widely distributed in China, and the discovery of large Sinian-aged gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin and Mesoproterozoic liquid oil seepages in North China shows that attention should be paid to the exploration potential of Proterozoic strata. In this paper, the main controlling factors of Proterozoic source rocks are discussed. Principally, active atmospheric circulation and astronomical cycles may have driven intense upwelling and runoff to provide nutrients; oxygenated oceanic surface waters could have provided suitable environments for the organisms to thrive; volcanic activity and terrestrial weathering caused by continental break-up would have injected large amounts of nutrients into the ocean, leading to persistent blooms of marine organisms; and extensive anoxic deep waters may have created ideal conditions for the preservation of organic matter. Additionally, the appearance of eukaryotes resulted in diversified hydrocarbon parent material, which effectively improved the generation potential for oil and gas. Through the comparison of Formations across different cratons, seven sets of Proterozoic organic-rich source rocks have been recognized in China, which mainly developed during interglacial periods and are also comparable worldwide. The Hongshuizhuang and Xiamaling Formations in North China have already been identified previously as Mesoproterozoic source rocks. The early Proterozoic Changchengian System is highly promising as a potential source rock in the Ordos Basin. In the Upper Yangtze area, the Neoproterozoic Datangpo and Doushantuo Formations are extensively distributed, and represent the major source rocks for Sinian gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin. Moreover, the Nanhuan System may contain abundant shales with high organic matter contents in the Tarim Basin, although this possibility still needs to be verified. | 3 | Depositional System of the Carboniferous Huanglong Formation,Eastern Sichuan Basin:Constraints from Sedimentology and Geochemistry显示文摘Using analyses of the lithology,sequences,paleoenvironment,and tectonic setting,the depositional system of the Carboniferous Huanglong Formation in the eastern Sichuan Basin was identified.The lithological characteristics of the Lower Member,Middle Member,and Upper Member were analyzed and classified.Before the use of carbon,oxygen,and strontium isotopes in the analysis,all of the geochemical data were tested for validity.On the basis of the Z values obtained from carbon and oxygen isotopes,the paleoenvironments of the three members were elucidated.Lower Member was dominantly an enclosed marine environment with intense evaporation and little freshwater input into the sea.Middle Member developed in a semi-enclosed to normal marine environment with many rivers.Upper Member was formed in a normal marine environment.The east Sichuan Basin was enclosed by paleouplifts before the deposition of the Huanglong Formation,forming a relatively enclosed depositional setting.Paleogullies developed in the Silurian strata that underlie the Carboniferous rocks;these paleogullies can be identified.On the basis of a comprehensive analysis,we propose that the Huanglong Formation developed in a platform system.Four microfacies were identified:supratidal flat,dolostone flat,grain shoal,and shelf microfacies.The high-permeability and high-porosity characteristics of the grain shoal microfacies are favorable for hydrocarbon accumulation,while the supratidal flat and shelf microfacies developed very few high-quality reservoirs.The paleogullies,in which increased amounts of grain shoal microfacies developed,controlled the distribution of high-quality reservoirs. | WANG Kun HU Suyun LI Wei LIU Wei HUANG Qingyu MA Kui SHI Shuyuan | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,5: | 3 |
| 4 | Petroleum geological conditions and exploration importance of Proterozoic to Cambrian in China显示文摘The discovery of the giant Anyue gas field in Sichuan Basin gives petroleum explorers confidence to find oil and gas in Proterozoic to Cambrian.Based on the reconstruction of tectonic setting and the analysis of major geological events in Mesoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic,the petroleum geological conditions of Proterozoic to Cambrian are discussed in this paper from three aspects,i.e.source rocks,reservoir conditions,and the type and efficiency of play.It is found that lower organisms boomed in the interglacial epoch from Mesoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic to Eopaleozoic when the organic matters concentrated and high quality source rocks formed.Sinian-Cambrian microbial rock and grain-stone banks overlapped with multiple-period constructive digenesis may form large-scale reservoir rocks.However,because of the anoxic event and weak weathering effect in Eopaleozoic-Mesoproterozoic,the reservoirs are generally poor in quality,and only the reservoirs that suffered weathering and leaching may have the opportunity to form dissolution-reconstructed reservoirs.There are large rifts formed during Mesoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic in Huabei Craton,Yangtze Craton,and Tarim Craton in China,and definitely source rocks in the rifts,while whether there are favorite source-reservoir plays depends on circumstance.The existence of Sinian-Cambrian effective play has been proved in Upper Yangtze area.The effectiveness of source-reservoir plays in Huabei area depends on two factors:(1)the effectiveness of secondary play formed by Proterozoic source rock and Paleozoic,Mesozoic,Cenozoic reservoir rocks;(2)the matching between reservoirs formed by reconstruction from Mesoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic to Eopaleozoic and the inner hydrocarbon kitchens with late hydrocarbon generation.As for Tarim Basin,the time of Proterozoic and the original basin should be analyzed before the evaluation of the effective play.To sum up,Proterozoic to Cambrian in the three craton basins in China is a potential exploration formation,which deserves further investigation and research. | ZHAO Wenzhi HU Suyun WANG Zecheng ZHANG Shuichang WANG Tongshan | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Exploration and development of continental tight oil in China显示文摘Based on the investigation of tight oil exploration and development in North America, the successful cases of tight oil exploration and development in North America are summarized. The geological differences between continental tight oil in China and marine tight oil in North America is analyzed to explore the technical strategies for the industrial development of continental tight oil in China. The experiences of large-scale exploration and profitable development of tight oil in North America can be taken as references from the following 6 perspectives, namely exploring new profitable strata in mature exploration areas, strengthening the economic evaluation of sweet spots and focusing on the investment for high-profitability sweet spots, optimizing the producing of tight oil reserves by means of repetitive fracturing and 3 D fracturing, optimizing drilling and completion technologies to reduce the cost, adopting commodity hedging to ensure the sustainable profit, and strengthening other resources exploration to improve the profit of whole project. | 9 | Connotation and strategic role of in-situ conversion processing of shale oil underground in the onshore China显示文摘In-situ conversion processing (ICP) of shale oil underground at the depth ranging from 300 m to 3 000 m is a physical and chemical process caused by using horizontal drilling and electric heating technology, which converts heavy oil, bitumen and various organic matter into light oil and gas in a large scale, which can be called'underground refinery'. ICP has several advantages as in CO2capture, recoverable resource potential and the quality of hydrocarbon output. Based on the geothermal evolution mechanism of organic materials established by Tissot et al., this study reveals that in the nonmarine organic-rich shale sequence, the amount of liquid hydrocarbon maintaining in the shale is as high as 25%in the liquid hydrocarbon window stage (R o less than 1.0%), and the unconverted organic materials (low mature-immature organic materials) in the shale interval can reach 40%to 100%. The conditions of organic-rich shale suitable for underground in-situ conversion of shale oil should be satisfied in the following aspects, TOC higher than 6%, R o ranging between 0.5%and 1%, concentrated thickness of organic-rich shale greater than 15 meters, burial depth less than 3 000 m, covering area bigger than 50 km2, good sealing condition in both up-and down-contacting sequences and water content smaller than 5%, etc. The shale oil resource in China’s onshore region is huge. It is estimated with this paper that the technical recoverable resource reaches 70-90 billion tons of oil and 60-65 trillion cubic meters of gas. The ICP of shale oil underground is believed to be a fairway to find big oil in the source kitchen in the near future. | 14 | Integrated liver proteomics and metabolomics identify metabolic pathways affected by pantothenic acid deficiency in Pekin ducks显示文摘Pantothenic acid deficiency(PAD)in animals causes growth depression,fasting hypoglycemia and impaired lipid and glucose metabolism.However,a systematic multi-omics analysis of effects of PAD on hepatic function has apparently not been reported.We investigated liver proteome and metabolome changes induced by PAD to explain its effects on growth and liver metabolic disorders.Pekin ducks(1-dold,n=128)were allocated into 2 groups,with 8 replicates and 8 birds per replicate.For 16 d,all ducks had ad libitum access to either a PAD or a pantothenic acid adequate(control,CON)diet,formulated by supplementing a basal diet with 0 or 8 mg pantothenic acid/kg of diet,respectively.Liver enlargement,elevated liver glycogen concentrations and decreased liver concentrations of triglyceride and unsaturated fatty acids were present in the PAD group compared to the CON group.Based on integrated liver proteomics and metabolomics,PAD mainly affected glycogen synthesis and degradation,glycolysis and gluconeogenesis,tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle,peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR)signaling pathway,fatty acid beta oxidation,and oxidative phosphorylation.Selected proteins were confirmed by Western blotting.Downregulation of proteins and metabolites involved in glycogen synthesis and degradation,glycolysis and gluconeogenesis implied that these processes were impaired in PAD ducks,which could have contributed to fasting hypoglycemia,liver glycogen storage,insufficient ATP production,and growth retardation.In contrast,PAD also upregulated proteins and metabolites involved in fatty acid beta oxidation,the TCA cycle,and oxidative phosphorylation processes in the liver;presumably compensatory responses to produce ATP.We inferred that PAD decreased liver triglyceride and unsaturated fatty acids by activating fatty acid beta oxidation and impairing unsaturated fatty acid synthesis.These findings contributed to our understanding of the mechanisms of PAD-induced changes in hepatic metabolism. | Jing Tang Yongbao Wu Bo Zhang Suyun Liang Zhanbao Guo Jian Hu Zhengkui Zhou Ming Xie Shuisheng Hou | 2022 | Animal Nutrition2022,,4: | 0 |
| 15 | Hydrocarbon accumulation in deep ancient carbonate-evaporite assemblages显示文摘The Ediacaran–Ordovician strata within three major marine basins(Tarim,Sichuan,and Ordos)in China are analyzed.Based on previous studies focusing on the characteristics of the Neoproterozoic–Cambrian strata within the three major basins(East Siberian,Oman,and Officer in Australia)overseas,the carbonate–evaporite assemblages in the target interval are divided into three types:intercalated carbonate and gypsum salt,interbedded carbonate and gypsum salt,and coexisted carbonate,gypsum salt and clastic rock.Moreover,the concept and definition of the carbonate-evaporite assemblage are clarified.The results indicate that the oil and gas in the carbonate-evaporite assemblage are originated from two types of source rocks:shale and argillaceous carbonate,and confirmed the capability of gypsum salt in the saline environment to drive the source rock hydrocarbon generation.The dolomite reservoirs are classified in two types:gypseous dolomite flat,and grain shoalµbial mound.This study clarifies that the penecontemporaneous or epigenic leaching of atmospheric fresh water mainly controlled the large-scale development of reservoirs.Afterwards,burial dissolution transformed and reworked the reservoirs.The hydrocarbon accumulation in carbonate-evaporite assemblage can be categorized into eight sub-models under three models(sub-evaporite hydrocarbon accumulation,supra-evaporite hydrocarbon accumulation,and inter-evaporite hydrocarbon accumulation).As a result,the Cambrian strata in the Tazhong Uplift North Slope,Maigaiti Slope and Mazatag Front Uplift Zone of the Tarim Basin,the Cambrian strata in the eastern-southern area of the Sichuan Basin,and the inter-evaporite Ma-4 Member of Ordovician in the Ordos Basin,China,are defined as favorable targets for future exploration. | SHI Shuyuan HU Suyun LIU Wei WANG Tongshan ZHOU Gang XU Anna HUANG Qingyu XU Zhaohui HAO Bin WANG Kun JIANG Hua MA Kui BAI Zhuangzhuang | 2024 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2024,51,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Gp78 regulates PMP22 and causes ER stress and autophagy in EV71-VP1-overexpressing mouse Schwann cells显示文摘Background:During Enterovirus type 71(EV71)infection,the structural viral protein 1(VP1)activates endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress associated with peripheral myelin protein 22(PMP22)accumulation and induces autophagy.However,the specific mechanism behind this process remains elusive.Methods:In this research,we used the VP1-overexpressing mouse Schwann cells(SCs)models co-transfected with a PMP22 silencing or Autocrine motility factor receptor(AMFR/gp78)overexpressing vector to explore the regulation of gp78 on PMP22 and its relationship with autophagy and apoptosis.Results:The activity of gp78 could be influenced by EV71-VP1,leading to a decrease in the ubiquitination and degradation of PMP22,resulting in PMP22 accumulation in ER.In VP1-overexpressing mouse SCs,all three ER stress sensors,including pancreatic endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK),activating transcription factor 6(ATF6)and inositol-requiring enzyme 1(IRE1)and the related downstream signals(C/EBP-homologous protein(CHOP)and Caspase 12)were activated,as well as the ER-resident chaperone Glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78).In addition,VP1 upregulated the autophagy marker Microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 beta(LC3B),while PMP22 silencing or gp78 overexpression reversed the phenomenon.Meanwhile,PMP22 silencing or gp78 overexpression increased proliferation of EV71-VP1-transfected mouse SCs.Conclusion:Gp78 could regulate PMP22 accumulation through ubiquitination degradation and cause ER stress and autophagy in EV71-VP1-overexpressing mouse SCs.Therefore,the gp78/PMP22/ER stress axis might emerge as a promising therapeutic target for myelin and neuronal damage induced by EV71 infection. | DANPING ZHU GUANGMING LIU KUAN FENG SUYUN LI DANDAN HU SIDA YANG PEIQING LI | 2024 | BIOCELL2024,48,4: | 0 |
| 17 | Effect of riboflavin deficiency on intestinal morphology,jejunum mucosa proteomics,and cecal microbiota of Pekin ducks显示文摘This study was to determine the effects of riboflavin deficiency(RD)on intestinal development,jejunum mucosa proteome,cecal short-chain fatty acids(SCFA)profiling,and cecal microbial diversity and community of starter Pekin ducks.Male white Pekin ducks(1 d old,n=240)were allocated into 2 groups,with 12 replicates and 10 birds per replicate in each group.For 21 d,all ducks had ad libitum access to either an RD or a riboflavin adequate(control,CON)diet,formulated by supplementing a basal diet with 0 or 10 mg riboflavin per kg of diet,respectively.Compared to the CON group,growth retardation,high mortality,and poor riboflavin status were observed in the RD group.Furthermore,RD reduced the villus height and the ratio of villus height to crypt depth of jejunum and ileum(P<0.05),indicating morphological alterations of the small intestine.In addition,dietary RD enhanced relative cecum weight and decreased cecal SCFA concentrations(P<0.05),including propionate,isobutyrate,butyrate,and isovalerate.The jejunum mucosa proteomics showed that 208 proteins were upregulated and 229 proteins were downregulated in the RD group compared to those in the CON group.Among these,RD mainly suppressed intestinal absorption and energy generation processes such as glycolysis and gluconeogenesis,fatty acid beta oxidation,tricarboxylic acid cycle,and oxidative phosphorylation,leading to impaired ATP generation.In addition,RD decreased the community richness and diversity of the bacterial community in the cecum of ducks.Specifically,RD reduced the abundance of butyrate-producing bacteria in the cecum(P<0.05),such as Eubacterium coprostanoligenes,Prevotella and Faecalibacterium.Dietary RD resulted in growth depression and intestinal hypofunction of Pekin ducks,which could be associated with impaired intestinal absorption and energy generation processes in intestinal mucosa,as well as gut microbiota dysbiosis.These findings contribute to our understanding of the mechanisms of intestinal hypofunction due to RD. | Yaxi Xu Bo Zhang Rui Zhao Kexin Gao Suyun Liang Yongbao Wu Yongsheng Hao Dapeng Liu Zhanbao Guo Jian Hu Zhengkui Zhou Ming Xie Jing Tang | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,1: | 0 |

| 19 | Heterogeneous geological conditions and differential enrichment of medium and high maturity continental shale oil in China显示文摘Based on the comparison of basic geological conditions and enrichment characteristics of shale oil plays, the heterogeneity of source and reservoir conditions and differential enrichment of medium-high maturity continental shale oil plays in China have been confirmed.(1) Compared with the homogeneous geological settings and wide distribution of marine shale oil strata in North America, the continental medium and high maturity shale oil plays in China are significantly different in geological conditions generally;continental multi-cyclic tectonic evolution forms multiple types of lake basins in multi-stages, providing sites for large-scale development of continental shale oil, and giving rise to large scale high-quality source rocks, multiple types of reservoirs, and diverse source-reservoir combinations with significant heterogeneity.(2) The differences in sedimentary water environments lead to the heterogeneity in lithology, lithofacies, and organic material types of source rocks;the differences in material source supply and sedimentary facies belt result in reservoirs of different lithologies, including argillaceous and transition rocks, and tight siltstone, and complex source-reservoir combination types.(3) The heterogeneity of the source rock controls the differentiation of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion, the diverse reservoir types make reservoir performance different and the source-reservoir configurations complex, and these two factors ultimately make the shale oil enrichment patterns different. Among them, the hydrocarbon generation and expulsion capacity of high-quality source rocks affect the degree of shale oil enrichment. Freshwater hydrocarbon source rocks with TOC larger than 2.5% and saline hydrocarbon source rocks with TOC of 2% to 10% have a high content of retained hydrocarbons and are favorable.(4) High-abundance organic shale is the basis for the enrichment of shale oil inside the source.
