2Biological activities of a neutral water-soluble agar polysaccharide prepared by agarase degradation显示文摘Depolymerization of agar was performed using agarase, which was extracted from the cell-free medium of a culture of marine bacterial Alteromonas sp. nov. SY 37-12. After ethanol fractionation and lyophilization, the water-soluble agar polysaccharide (WSAP3) was collected. The anti-tumor activity of the product was determined by using Sarcoma 180 tumor in mouse. The tumor inhibition rate of WSAP3 reached 48.7% at a dose of 64mg kg-1 after 15 days treatment. WSAP3 enhanced the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase, which suggests that WSAP3 was effective in promoting the antioxidation ability and eliminating danger from free radicals. The result of flow cytometry showed that the WSAP3 had no activities of cell cycle inhibition or apoptosis-inducing activities. The anti-oxidation of WSAP3 was further confirmed by test in vitro, which might play an important role in anti-tumor activity. 3Promotive Effects of Alginate-Derived Oligosaccharides on the Inducing Drought Resistance of Tomato显示文摘In order to determine the role of alginate-derived oligosaccharides (ADO) in drought stress resistance of tomato (Ly-copersicon esculentum Miller) seedlings, the leaves were exposed to different concentrations of ADO (0.05%, 0.10%, 0.20%, 0.30% and 0.50%) after drought stress was simulated by exposing the roots to 0.6 molL-1 PEG-6000 solution for 6 h. Changes in biomass, electrolyte leakage and malondialdehyde (MDA), free proline, total soluble sugars (TSS) and abscisic acid (ABA), the enzyme activities of catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) were measured to investigate the effects of ADO treatment. The results showed that the treatment with an ADO concentration of 0.20% exhibited the highest performance of drought stress resistance in the tomato seedlings by decreasing the electrolyte leakage and the concentration of MDA, increasing the contents of free proline, TSS and ABA, and increasing the activities of CAT, SOD, POD and PAL after treatment with ADO. It is suggested that changes in electrolyte leakage, MDA, osmotic solutes, ABA, anti-oxidative enzyme and PAL activities were responsible for the increased drought stress resistance in tomato seedlings. 4肾小管间质病变与慢性肾脏疾病进展关系的研究显示文摘目的 探讨慢性肾脏疾病进展与肾间质病变的关系及细胞增殖、凋亡失衡在肾脏疾病进展中的作用。方法 对 40例原发性肾脏疾病的肾功能与肾小管间质病变程度进行相关性分析 ,应用原位末端标记法(TUNEL)及免疫组织化学技术检测细胞凋亡 ,观察PCNA ,Fas FasL ,Bcl 2 ,Bax在肾小管间质的表达。结果 肾小管间质病变程度与血肌酐之间存在明显的正相关 (r =0 .5 9,P =0 .0 0 1) ;PCNA在中度肾小管间质病变时表达增加 ,重度病变时表达减少 (r =- 0 .6 8,P =0 .0 2 1) ;Bax的表达随肾小管间质病变的加重而增加 (r =0 .46 ,P =0 .0 0 43) ;肾小管间质内未见明显的细胞凋亡 ,Fas FasL ,Bcl 2的表达在不同程度的肾小管间质损害之间无统计学差异。结论 本研究提示肾小管间质病变的严重程度与慢性肾病进展相关 ,肾小管间质损害程度可作为判断慢性肾病预后的指标。肾小管间质的损害、纤维化与细胞增殖、凋亡失衡有关 ,肾小管间质中度损害时以细胞增殖为主 。陈晓农 YU Haijin 俞海瑾 王伟铭 王朝晖 吴佩 储谦 陈楠 2001上海医学2001,24,2:16
5First observation of tropospheric nitrogen dioxide from the Environmental Trace Gases Monitoring Instrument onboard the GaoFen-5 satellite显示文摘The Environmental Trace Gases Monitoring Instrument(EMI)is the first Chinese satellite-borne UV–Vis spectrometer aiming to measure the distribution of atmospheric trace gases on a global scale.The EMI instrument onboard the GaoFen-5 satellite was launched on 9 May 2018.In this paper,we present the tropospheric nitrogen dioxide(NO2)vertical column density(VCD)retrieval algorithm dedicated to EMI measurement.We report the first successful retrieval of tropospheric NO_(2) VCD from the EMI instrument.Our retrieval improved the original EMI NO_(2) prototype algorithm by modifying the settings of the spectral fit and air mass factor calculations to account for the on-orbit instrumental performance changes.The retrieved EMI NO_(2) VCDs generally show good spatiotemporal agreement with the satellite-borne Ozone Monitoring Instrument and TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument(correlation coefficient R of ~0.9,bias<50%).A comparison with ground-based MAX-DOAS(Multi-Axis Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy)observations also shows good correlation with an R of 0.82.The results indicate that the EMI NO_(2) retrieval algorithm derives reliable and precise results,and this algorithm can feasibly produce stable operational products that can contribute to global air pollution monitoring.Chengxin Zhang Cheng Liu Ka Lok Chan Qihou Hu Haoran Liu Bo Li Chengzhi Xing Wei Tan Haijin Zhou Fuqi Si Jianguo Liu 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:11
6Zircon Geochronological Evidence for Participation of the North China Craton in the Protolith of Migmatite of the North Dabie Terrane显示文摘The plate affiliation of the North Dabie terrane(NDT) has been controversial. To address this fundamental question, an integrated study of internal structure, in-situ U-Pb dating and trace element analysis in zircons and field investigation for migmatite in the NDT was carried out, which reveals participation of crustal rocks of the North China craton(NCC) in the protolith in addition to the more common crustal rocks of the Yangtze craton(YC). The evidence of an NCC affinity for protolith of migmatite in the NDT is the ~2.5 Ga(2 486±14 and 2 406±26 Ma) magamtic age and ~1.8 Ga(1 717±79 Ma) metamorphic age in the relict zircon domains because these two age groups are characteristic for the evolution of the NCC. The evidence of a YC affinity for protolith of migmatite in the NDT is the more common 0.7–0.8 Ga(e.g., 787±12 Ma) magamtic zircon age. Mid-Neoproterozoic magmatic age(0.7–0.8 Ga) is a symbol of YC basement rocks. In view of the widely exposed YC crustal components in the NDT, we suggest that the protolith of the NDT is mainly crustal rocks from the YC with minor crustal components from the NCC. The zircon rim domains and new growth grains from all the migmatite samples are characterized by anatectic zircons and have a widely concordant ages ranging from 112.2±2.8 to 159.6±4.3 Ma with several peak values, suggesting a long lasting multistage anatexis. 8Partial melting and crust-mantle interaction in subduction channels:Constraints from experimental petrology显示文摘It is proposed in the subduction channel model that the plate interface interaction is a basic mechanism for the mass and energy exchange between Earth’s surface and interior.The significant difference in composition and nature between continental lithosphere and oceanic lithosphere inevitably leads to variations in deep physical and chemical processes as well as crust-mantle interaction products in these two settings.Many studies of experimental petrology have provided constraints on the potential partial melting and crust-mantle interaction in oceanic subduction channels for silicate and carbonate rocks.The partial melts of mafic and felsic compositions are adakitic or non-adakitic granitic melts depending on melting pressure or depth.A trivial amount of CO2 can lower significantly the melting temperature of peridotites and lead to pronounced enrichment of incompatible elements in carbonate melt.The silica saturated or unsaturated melts can react with mantle-wedge peridotites in subduction channels to generate complex products.However,the existing experiments are mostly dedicated to island arc settings above oceanic subduction zones rather than dehydration melting above continental subduction zones.It is crucial to conduct high pressure and high temperature experiments to investigate all possible reactions between peridotites and crustal materials and their derivatives under the conditions responsible for the slab-mantle interface in continental subduction channels.Experimental results,combined with natural observations,are possible to elucidate the processes of metamorphic dehydration,partial melting and mantle metasomatism in continental subduction channels.ZHANG JunFeng WANG ChunGuang XU HaiJin WANG Chao XU WenLiang 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,10:4

10A Review of Ultrahigh Temperature Metamorphism显示文摘Ultrahigh-temperature(UHT) metamorphism represents extreme crustal metamorphism with peak metamorphic temperatures exceeding 900 ℃ and pressures ranging from 7 to 13 kbar with or without partial melting of crusts, which is usually identified in the granulite-facies rocks. UHT rocks are recognized in all major continents related to both extensional and compressive tectonic environments. UHT metamorphism spans different geological ages from Archean to Phanerozoic, providing information of the nature, petrofabric and thermal evolution of crusts. UHT metamorphism is traditionally identified by the presence of a diagnostic mineral assemblage with an appropriate bulk composition and oxidation state in Mg-Al-rich metapelite rocks. Unconventional geothermobarometers including Ti-in-zircon(TIZ) and Zr-in-rutile(ZIR) thermometers and phase equilibria modeling are increasingly being used to estimate UHT metamorphism. Concentrated on the issues about UHT metamorphism, this review presents the research history about UHT metamorphism, the global distribution of UHT rocks, the current methods for constraints on the UHT metamorphism, and the heat sources and tectonic settings of UHT metamorphism. Some key issues and prospects about the study of UHT metamorphism are discussed, e.g., identification of UHT metamorphism for non-supracrustal rocks, robustness of the unconventional geothermometers, tectonic affinity of UHT metamorphic rocks, and methods for the constraints of age and duration of UHT metamorphism. 12Anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities of ultrasonicassistant extracted polyphenol-rich compounds from Sargassum muticum显示文摘Polypehnol is an important,potentially bioactive component of Sargassum muticum.In this study,ultrasonic assisted extraction of polyphenol-rich substances was performed using a 38%ethanol solution at a solid:liquid ratio of 1:30 at 68℃ for 32min,determined by single-factor and response surface methodology(RSM)optimization.The content of polyphenol was 5.66mg/g in the crude extract.Further extraction showed that the polyphenol mainly distributed in ethyl acetate(SKEE)and water phases(SKEW).The anti-oxidation test by electron spin resonance(ESR)spectrum showed that the SKEE had the strongest scavenging activity on DPPH(1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl)and alkyl radicals.SKEE was shown noncytotoxic but could inhibit the generation of cellular ROS,showing protective effects in H2O2 and AAPHinduced Vero cells and UV-B irradiated HaCaT cells.SKEE also signifi cantly inhibited the release of NO of LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells.Therefore,the polyphenol-rich extracts in ethanol and ethyl acetate showed excellent anti-oxidant and anti-infl ammatory activities,which is beneficial to the development of high-value bio-substances.YU Yuan WANG Le FU Xiaoting WANG Lei FU Xiaodan YANG Min HAN Zhenlian MOU Haijin JEON You-Jin 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:3
13Dynamical analysis of submesoscale fronts associated with wind-forced offshore jet in the western South China Sea显示文摘This study investigates the submesoscale fronts and their dynamic effects on the mean flow due to frontal instabilities in the wind-driven summer offshore jet of the western South China Sea(WSCS),using satellite observations,a 500 m-resolution numerical simulation,and diagnostic analysis.Both satellite measurements and simulation results show that the submesoscale fronts occupying a typical lateral scale of O(~10)km are characterized with one order of Rossby(Ro)and Richardson(Ri)numbers in the WSCS.This result implies that both geostrophic and ageostrophic motions feature in these submesoscale fronts.The diagnostic results indicate that a net cross-frontal Ekman transport driven by down-front wind forcing effectively advects cold water over warm water.By this way,the weakened local stratification and strong lateral buoyancy gradients are conducive to a negative Ertel potential vorticity(PV)and triggering frontal symmetric instability(SI)at the submesoscale density front.The cross-front ageostrophic secondary circulation caused by frontal instabilities is found to drive an enhanced vertical velocity reaching O(100)m/d.Additionally,the estimate of the down-front wind forcing the Ekman buoyancy flux(EBF)is found to be scaled with the geostrophic shear production(GSP)and buoyancy flux(BFLUX),which are the two primary energy sources for submesoscale turbulence.The large values of GSP and BFLUX at the fronts suggest an efficient downscale energy transfer from larger-scale geostrophic flows to the submesoscale turbulence owing to down-front wind forcing and frontal instabilities.In this content,submesoscale fronts and their instabilities substantially enhance the local vertical exchanges and geostrophic energy cascade towards smaller-scale.These active submesoscale processes associated density fronts and filaments likely provide new physical interpretations for the filamentary high chlorophyll concentration and frontal downscale energy transfer in the WSCS.Xiaolong Huang Zhiyou Jing Ruixi Zheng Haijin Cao 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,11:2
14Revisiting mesoscale eddy genesis mechanism of nonlinear advection in a marginal ice zone显示文摘A three-dimensional(3-D) ocean model is coupled with a two-dimensional(2-D) sea ice model, to revisit a nonlinear advection mechanism, one of the most important mesoscale eddy genesis mechanisms in the marginal ice zone. Two-dimensional ocean model simulations suggest nonlinear advection mechanism is more important when the water gets shallower. Instead of considering the ocean as barotropic fluid in the 2-D ocean model, the 3-D ocean model allows the sea ice to affect the current directly in the surface layer via ocean-ice interaction. It is found that both mesoscale eddy and sea surface elevation are sensitive to changes in a water depth in the 3-D simulations. The vertical profile of a current velocity in 3-D experiments suggests that when the water depth gets shallower, the current move faster in each layer, which makes the sea surface elevation be nearly inverse proportional to the water depth with the same wind forcing during the same time. It is also found that because of the vertical motion, the magnitude of variations in the sea surface elevation in the 3-D simulations is very small,being only 1% of the change in the 2-D simulations. 17Effects of tillage practices on nutrient loss and soybean growth in red-soil slope farmland显示文摘Field experiments were conducted to examine the effect of tillage practices on sediment and nutrient loss and soybean growth under natural rainfall conditions.Three tillage practices were applied:downslope ridge(check),downslope ridge+contour living hedgerow,and cross ridge.Cross ridge tillage reduced surface runoff by 69%and sediment yield by 86%,compared to the check treatment.The downslope ridge with a contour living hedgerow reduced surface runoff by 24%and sediment yield by 53%.Additionally,compared to the check plot,nutrient losses carried by runoff were reduced by over 68%and that carried in the sediment was reduced more than 85%in the cross ridge plot.Nutrient losses in runoff were reduced by 20%to 30%in the downslope ridge and contour living hedgerow plot and those carried in the sediment were reduced by 44%to 57%.Cross ridge tillage soybean yields exceeded those of the downslope ridge and downslope ridge+contour living hedgerow treatments by 16%-18%.Cross ridge tillage could contribute to the prevention sediment and nutrient loss and could improve crop yield,and thus it is recommended to be applied to mild slopes in the red soil region.Yang Jie Zheng Haijin Chen Xiaoan Shen Le 2013International Soil and Water Conservation Research2013,1,3:2
18Geochemistry,Zircon U-Pb Age and Hf Isotope of the Huilanshan Granitoids in the North Dabie Terrane:Implications for Syn-Collapse Magmatism of Orogen显示文摘Syn-collapse magmatism is a critical issue for evolution of the continental orogen.The Dabie Orogen is a typical orogen which was suffered from a complete collapse.Two kinds of granitoids,namely,the coarse-grained diorite and the fine-grained granite,are recognized at the center of the Luotian extensional dome,providing an opportunity to decipher the syn-collapse magmatism in the Dabie Orogen.The diorites(125±3 Ma)are high K calc-alkaline rocks,with low SiO2(51.9 wt.%–56.6 wt.%)and high MgO(3.5 wt.%–4.0 wt.%)contents.They are enriched in LREE and LILEs(e.g.,Ba,K,Rb)and depleted in HFSEs(e.g.,Ta,Nb,and Hf)with low ratio of Sr/Y(30.82–46.89).The granites(118±2 Ma)are shoshonite series rocks,with relatively high SiO2(68.9 wt.%–72.6 wt.%)and low MgO(0.32 wt.%–0.66 wt.%)contents.They are also enriched in LREE and LILEs with weakly negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.81–0.85),and are depleted in HFSEs with low Sr contents(338 ppm–477 ppm)and Sr/Y ratios(23.80–33.13).Therefore,the two kinds of granitoids have no geochemical characteristics of adakitic rocks,suggesting that they were generated from a normal or thinned crust level.The diorites have quite negative zirconεHf(t)values(-18.4 to-21.1),suggesting they were from partial melting of the mafic lower continental crust.The granites have relatively higher zirconεHf(t)values(-14.4 to-18.1).The granites also contains a series of old inherited zircon cores,such as two upper intercept ages of 2 628±41 and 1 840±37 Ma,and a concordant age of 807±9 Ma.All these features suggest that the granites were generated from partial melting of the felsic middle-lower continental crust.Thus,the Huilanshan Early Cretaceous granitoids coupled with the Luotian extensional dome revealed the collapsed process of the Dabie Orogen.Shengxin Liu Haijin Xu 2019Journal of Earth Science2019,30,3:2
