Variabilities of carbonateδ13C signal in response to the late Paleozoic glaciations,Long’an,South China显示文摘An integrated study of biostratigraphy, microfacies, and stable carbon isotope stratigraphy was carried out on the late Famennian–early Asselian carbonates of the Long’an section in Guangxi,South China.Stable carbon isotope studies in the Long’an section have revealed four major positive shifts ofδ13C values in the Carboniferous strata in South China. The first shift occurred in the Siphonodella dasaibaensia zone in the Tournaisian, with an amplitude of 4.19‰.The second shift occurred near the Visean/Serpukhovian boundary, with an amplitude of 2.63‰.The third shift occurred in the Serpukhovian, with an amplitude of 3.95‰.The fourth shift occurred in the Kasimovian, with an amplitude of 3.69‰.Furthermore,there were several brief positiveδ13C shifts during the late Famennian to early Tournaisian. All of these shifts can be well correlated globally, and each corresponds to sea-level regressions in South China and Euro-America,indicating increases in ocean primary productivity and global cooling events.Chronologically, the four major positive excursions ofδ13C,together with several brief positiveδ13C shifts that were observed during the late Famennian to the early Tournaisian, correspond to the well-accepted Glacial I,II,and III events. | Bing YANG Xionghua ZHANG Wenkun QIE Yi WEI Xing HUANG Haodong XIA | 2020 | Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,2: | 3
Fractal characteristic of microscopic pore structure of tight sandstone reservoirs in Kalpintag Formation in Shuntuoguole area,Tarim Basin显示文摘Using the fractal geometry method, the microscopic pore structures of tight sandstone reservoirs in Kalpintag Formation of Shuntuoguole area in Tarim Basin were conducted fractal characterization on the base of test analysis data such as physical property, cast thin section, scanning electron microscope and mercury injection, and the genetic mechanism of pore structure heterogeneity was investigated. The storage spaces are dominated by intergranular dissolved pore, intragranular dissolved pore and residual intergranular pore, and the throat type consists of the necking throat, lamellar throat, curved lamellar throat and tube-shaped throat. The microscopic structure type includes Type Ⅰ(fractal dimension≤2.350),Type Ⅱ(2.3502.580)and fracture type. The most favorable reservoirs with Type-Ⅰ microscopic pore structure are mainly distributed in the Upper Member of Kalpintag Formation, while the reservoirs with Type-Ⅱ and Type-Ⅲ microscopic pore structures are mainly in the Lower Member of Kalpintag Formation. The sedimentation controls the heterogeneity of microscopic pore structure, and the differences on composition and particle size of sandstone lead to differentiation of microscopic pore structures. The Lower Member of the Kalpintag Formation experiences stronger compaction and cementation but weaker dissolution than the Upper Member of the Kalpingtag Formation, and thus the microscopic pore structure of Upper Member of the Kalpintag Formation is significantly worse that of the Lower Member o the Kalpingtag Formation. The Upper Member of the Kalpintag Formation with high content of brittle mineral develops microscopic fractures due to tectonic rupture, thus the permeability is improved and the heterogeneity of microscopic pore structures is enhanced;but the Lower Member of Kalpintag Formation is characterized by attrition crushing of particles and strong compaction. | Jun Peng Haodong Han Qingsong Xia Bin Li | 2020 | Petroleum Research2020,5,1: | 2

Host defense peptide-mimicking peptide polymer-based antibacterial hydrogel enables efficient healing of MRSA-infected wounds显示文摘Wound infections are a compelling health issue caused by the invasion and proliferation of pathogens in wound sites.Antibioticloaded hydrogels are widely used to achieve anti-infectious wound healing. However, due to the quick emergence of drugresistant bacteria, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),wound infection has been a formidable challenge to human health. To address MRSA-infected wounds,an antibacterial peptide polymer-loaded hyaluronic acid(HA)hydrogel(Gel-HA@P)is prepared. The peptide polymer is designed to mimic host defense peptides as the antibiotic alternative showing potent antibacterial activity, low susceptibility to drug resistance and good stability against proteolysis.HA is biocompatible and biodegradable hydrogel substrate as a primary constituent of the extracellular matrix and suitable for cell migration and wound healing.Gel-HA@P shows potent activity against MRSA in vitro and in vivo, low toxicity during the treatment and promotes the wound healing in vivo. This design has proven to be an effective and antibiotic-free strategy to enable the healing of MRSA-infected wounds. | Zhongqian Qiao Wenjing Zhang Yueming Wu Weinan Jiang Ning Shao Jiayang Xie Guixue Xia Qimeng Chen Zhefeng Liu Jingcheng Zou Jiawei Gu Shifang Luan Haodong Lin Runhui Liu | 2023 | Science China Chemistry2023,66,6: | 1
In situ atomic-scale observation of size-dependent (de) potassiation and reversible phase transformation in tetragonal FeSe anodes显示文摘Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are considered promising alternatives to lithium-ion batteries owing to cost-effective potassium resources and a suitable redox potential of-2.93 V(vs.-3.04 V for Li+/Li).However,the exploration of appro-priate electrode materials with the correct size for reversibly accommodating large K+ions presents a significant challenge. In addition, the reaction mecha-nisms and origins of enhanced performance remain elusive. Here, tetragonal FeSe nanoflakes of different sizes are designed to serve as an anode for PIBs,and their live and atomic-scale potassiation/depotassiation mechanisms are revealed for the first time through in situ high-resolution transmission electron micros-copy.We found that FeSe undergoes two distinct structural evolutions,sequen-tially characterized by intercalation and conversion reactions, and the initial intercalation behavior is size-dependent.Apparent expansion induced by the intercalation of K+ions is observed in small-sized FeSe nanoflakes, whereas unexpected cracks are formed along the direction of ionic diffusion in large-sized nanoflakes. The significant stress generation and crack extension originating from the combined effect of mechanical and electrochemical interactions are elucidated by geometric phase analysis and finite-element analysis.Despite the different intercalation behaviors, the formed products of Fe and K_(2)Se after full potassiation can be converted back into the original FeSe phase upon depotassiation. In particular,small-sized nanoflakes exhibit better cycling perfor-mance with well-maintained structural integrity. This article presents the first successful demonstration of atomic-scale visualization that can reveal size-dependent potassiation dynamics. Moreover,it provides valuable guidelines for optimizing the dimensions of electrode materials for advanced PIBs. | Ran Cai Lixia Bao Wenqi Zhang Weiwei Xia Chunhao Sun Weikang Dong Xiaoxue Chang Ze Hua Ruiwen Shao Toshio Fukuda Zhefei Sun Haodong Liu Qiaobao Zhang Feng Xu Lixin Dong | 2023 | InfoMat2023,5,1: | 0
Broad-intensity-range optical nonreciprocity based on feedback-induced Kerr nonlinearity显示文摘Nonreciprocal light propagation plays an important role in modern optical systems, from photonic networks to integrated photonics. We propose a nonreciprocal system based on a resonance-frequency-tunable cavity and intensity-adaptive feedback control. Because the feedback-induced Kerr nonlinearity in the cavity is dependent on the incident direction of light, the system exhibits nonreciprocal transmission with a transmission contrast of 0.99 and an insertion loss of 1.5 dB. By utilizing intensity-adaptive feedback control, the operating intensity range of the nonreciprocal system is broadened to 20 dB,which relaxes the limitation of the operating intensity range for nonlinear nonreciprocal systems. Our protocol paves the way to realize high-performance nonreciprocal propagation in optical systems and can also be extended to microwave systems. | LEI TANG JIANGSHAN TANG HAODONG WU JING ZHANG MIN XIAO KEYU XIA | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,7: | 0
Re-Os dating, and Pb-H-O isotope characteristics,of the Abra Cu-Ag-Pb-Au polymetallic deposit in Western Australia显示文摘The Abra deposit,a large lead-silver-copper–gold polymetallic deposit in Western Australia,is located at the eastern of the metallogenic belt of the Jillawarra basin in the Bangemall basin. The 4 th to the 6 th rock section of the Irrigully Group of Edmund Series are the principal ore-host strata, composed mainly of sandstone and fine sandstone. The orebody in Abra can be classified into two types as upper layer-like lead-silver and lower veins or netvein copper–gold. The metal minerals are mainly galena, chalcopyrite, and pyrite, while the gangue minerals are mainly quartz, dolomite, and barite. Both ReOs isotopic age of the pyrite(1329.5±98 Ma)with the initial(187Os/188Os)=5.0±3.8 and Pb isotopic compositions(206 Pb/204 Pb=15.914–15.967,207Pb/204Pb=15.425–15.454,208Pb/204Pb=35.584–35.667)suggests that the metal minerals were sourced from the wall-rocks.d DV-SMOWvalues of quartz range from-35%to-17%whereas d18 OV-SMOWvalue range from 12%to 16%which indicates that the ore-forming fluids of Abra were mediumlow temperature and medium–low salinity, and were mainly metamorphic water and secondary atmospheric precipitation. When the medium–low temperature oreforming fluids are mixed with oxidizing reducing fluids carrying a large number of metal substances,a large number of ore-forming substances will be precipitated when the physical and chemical conditions change, thus it can be considered that the Abra deposit is a medium–low temperature hydrothermal polymetallic deposit. | Chaozhuang Xi Minghong Zheng Ling He Haodong Xia | 2021 | Acta Geochimica2021,40,5: | 0
Simulation for the dissolution mechanism of Cambrian carbonate rocks in Tarim Basin, NW China显示文摘Carbonate dissolution during the process of burial and evolution by percolating acid fluid was simulated using core plugs to analyze the characteristics and controlling factors of Cambrian carbonate rock dissolution in the Tarim Basin. The results showed that mineral composition and reservoir space type control selective dissolution. In the carbonate rock strata with high calcite content, the calcite is likely to dissolve first to form secondary dissolution pores; gypsum and anhydrite in the carbonate rock can be dissolved to form mold pores in contemporaneous and penecontemporaneous stages. Porous carbonate has mainly enlargement of matrix pores, with porosity and permeability increasing correspondingly, but not obviously. In comparison, dominant channels for fluid are likely to occur in fractured carbonate or porous carbonate forming cracks under high pressure, resulting in a relative reduction in the dissolution volume, but great increase of permeability. With the rise of temperature and pressure, corrosion ability of acid fluid to carbonate rock increases first and then decreases, there exists an optimum range of temperature and pressure for dissolution, which corresponds to the buried depth of 2 250-3 750 m of the Cambrian. Considering reservoir characteristics of the study area, it is concluded that calcite in the penecontemporaneous period is the material basis for the development of dissolution pore, and carbonate rock were mainly dissolved by early atmospheric fresh water, superimposed and reformed to form high quality reservoirs by multiple acid fluids including deep hydrothermal fluid and acid fluid generated during the process of organic thermal evolution under burial condition. | PENG Jun WANG Xuelong HAN Haodong YIN Shen XIA Qingsong LI Bin | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,3: | 0
