Global Pharmacopoeia Genome Database is an integrated and mineable genomic database for traditional medicines derived from eight international pharmacopoeias显示文摘Genomic data have demonstrated considerable traction in accelerating contemporary studies in traditional medicine. However, the lack of a uniform format and dispersed storage limits the full potential of herb genomic data. In this study, we developed a Global Pharmacopoeia Genome Database(GPGD). The database contains 34,346 records for 903 herb species from eight global pharmacopoeias(Brazilian, Egyptian, European, Indian, Japanese, Korean, the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China, and U.S. Pharmacopoeia’s Herbal Medicines Compendium). In particular, the GPGD contains 21,872 DNA barcodes from 867 species, 2,203 organelle genomes from 674 species, 55 whole genomes from 49 species, 534 genomic sequencing datasets from 366 species, and 9,682 transcriptome datasets from 350 species. Among the organelle genomes, 534 genomes from 366 species were newly generated in this study. Whole genomes, organelle genomes, genomic fragments, transcriptomes, and DNA barcodes were uniformly formatted and arranged by species. The GPGD is publicly accessible at http://www.gpgenome.com and serves as an essential resource for species identification, decomposition of biosynthetic pathways, and molecular-assisted breeding analysis. Thus, the database is an invaluable resource for future studies on herbal medicine safety, drug discovery, and the protection and rational use of herbal resources. | Baosheng Liao Haoyu Hu Shuiming Xiao Guanru Zhou Wei Sun Yang Chu Xiangxiao Meng Jianhe Wei Han Zhang Jiang Xu Shilin Chen | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,4: | 11

Low soil temperature reducing the yield of drip irrigated rice in arid area by influencing anther development and pollination显示文摘Drip irrigation can produce high rice yields with significant water savings;therefore,it is widely used in arid area water-scarce northern China.However,high-frequency irrigation of drip irrigation with low temperature well water leads to low root zone temperature and significantly reduce the rice yield compared to normal temperature water irrigated rice, for example, reservoir water. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of low soil temperature on the yield reduction of drip irrigated rice in the spike differentiation stage. The experiment set the soil temperatures at 18℃,24℃and 30℃under two irrigation methods(flood and drip irrigation),respectively. The results showed that,at the 30℃soil temperature, drip irrigation increased total root length by 53%but reduced root water conductivity by 9%compared with flood irrigation.Drip irrigation also increased leaf abscisic acid and proline concentrations by 13%and 5%,respectively.These results indicated that drip irrigated rice was under mild water stress. In the 18℃soil temperature, drip irrigation reduced hydraulic conductivity by 58%,leaf water potential by 40%and leaf net photosynthesis by 25%compared with flood irrigation. The starch concentration in male gametes was also 30%less in the drip irrigation treatment than in the flood irrigation treatment at soil temperature 18℃.Therefore,the main reason for the yield reduction of drip irrigated rice was that the low temperature aggravates the physiological drought of rice and leads to the decrease of starch content in male gametes and low pollination fertilization rate.Low temperature aggravates physiological water deficit in drip irrigated rice and leads to lower starch content in male gametes and low pollination fertilization rate, which is the main reason for the reduced yield of drip irrigated rice.Overall, the results indicated that the low soil temperatures aggravated the water stress that rice was under in the drip irrigated environment, causing declines both in the starch content of male gametes and in pollination rate.Low temperature will ultimately affect the rice yield under drip irrigation. | ZHANG Jun DONG Peng ZHANG Haoyu MENG Chaoran ZHANG Xinjiang HOU Jianwei WEI Changzhou | 2019 | Journal of Arid Land2019,11,3: | 3
A hybrid heterogeneous Pythagorean fuzzy group decision modelling for crowdfunding development process pathways of fintech‑based clean energy investment projects显示文摘This study aims to evaluate the crowdfunding alternatives regarding new service development process pathways of clean energy investment projects. In this framework,a new model has been generated by considering the consensus-based group decisionmaking with incomplete preferences,Pythagorean fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory(DEMATEL)and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS).Moreover,a comparative evaluation has been performed with Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I.Kompromisno Resenje methodology and sensitivity analysis has been made by considering 4 different cases. The main contribution is to identify appropriate crowdfunding-based funding alternatives for the improvement of the clean energy investments with a novel MCDM model.By considering the iteration technique and consensus-based analysis, the missing parts in the evaluations can be completed and opposite opinion problems can be reduced.Furthermore, with the help of hybrid MCDM model by combining DEMATEL and TOPSIS,more objective results can be reached. It is concluded that the analysis results are coherent and reliable. The findings indicate that the full launch is the most significant criterion for equity and debt-based crowdfunding alternatives. On the other side, the analysis has the highest weight for reward and donation-based alternatives whereas design is the most essential item regarding the royalty-based alternative.Additionally,it is also defined that equity-based crowdfunding alternative is the most significant for the service development process of clean energy investment projects. In this way,it will be possible to provide a continuous resource for clean energy investment projects. On the other hand,by providing financing with equity, there will be no fixed financing cost for clean energy investors. If these investors make a profit, they distribute dividends with the decision of their authorized bodies. | Yue Meng Haoyue Wu Wenjing Zhao Wenkuan Chen Hasan Dincer Serhat Yuksel | 2021 | Financial Innovation2021,7,1: | 2
A Trusted Mobile Payment Environment Based on Trusted Computing and Virtualization Technology显示文摘In this paper,we propose a trusted mobile payment environment(TMPE)based on trusted computing and virtualization technology. There are a normal operating system(OS)and a trusted OS(TOS)in TMPE.We store the image of TOS in a memory card to hinder tampering. The integrity of TOS is protected by means of a trusted platform module(TPM).TOS can only be updated through a trusted third party. In addition, virtualization technology is applied to isolate TOS from normal OS.Users complete ordinary affairs in normal OS and security-sensitive affairs in TOS.TMPE can offer users a highly protected environment for mobile payment. Moreover,TMPE has good compatibility in different hardware architectures of mobile platforms. As the evaluation shows,TMPE satisfies the requirement of mobile payment well. | WANG Juan LIN Wutao LI Haoyu DU Bianxia MENG Ke WANG Jiang | 2014 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2014,19,5: | 2
SRSF1 inhibits autophagy through regulating Bcl-x splicing and interacting with PIK3C3 in lung cancer显示文摘Alternative splicing is a critical process to generate protein diversity. However, whether and how alternative splicing regulates autophagy remains largely elusive. Here we systematically identify the splicing factor SRSF1 as an autophagy suppressor.Specifically,SRSF1 inhibits autophagosome formation by reducing the accumulation of LC3-ⅡI and numbers of autophagosomes in different cell lines.Mechanistically,SRSF1 promotes the splicing of the long isoform of Bcl-x that interacts with Beclinl, thereby dissociating the Beclin1-PIK3C3 complex. In addition,SRSF1 also directly interacts with PIK3C3 to disrupt the interaction between Beclinl and PIK3C3.Consequently,the decrease of SRSF1 stabilizes the Beclinl and PIK3C3 complex and activates autophagy.Interestingly,SRSF1 can be degraded by starvation-and oxidative stresses-induced autophagy through interacting with LC3-Ⅱ,whereas reduced SRSF1 further promotes autophagy. This positive feedback is critical to inhibiting Gefitinib-resistant cancer cell progression both in vitro and in vivo.Consistently, the expression level of SRSF1 is inversely correlated to LC3 level in clinical cancer samples. Our study not only provides mechanistic insights of alternative splicing in autophagy regulation but also discovers a new regulatory role of SRSF1 in tumorigenesis, thereby offering a novel avenue for potential cancer therapeutics. | Yuesheng Lv Wenjing Zhang Jinyao Zhao Bing Sun Yangfan Qi Haoyu Ji Chaoqun Chen Jinrui Zhang Junxiu Sheng Taishu Wang Daniel Dominguez Han Liu Quentin Liu Songshu Meng Xiaoling Li Yang Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,4: | 2
Electrochemical extraction of cerium and formation of Al–Ce alloy from CeO_2 assisted by AlCl_3 in LiCl–KCl melts显示文摘This work presents an electrochemical extraction of cerium and synthesization of Al–Ce alloy in LiCl–KCl melts on Mo and Al electrodes by chlorination of CeO2 using AlCl3 at 873 K. The cyclic voltammogram on Mo electrodes in LiCl–KCl–CeO2 melt showed no obvious reduction wave other than the reduction of Li(I). After the addition of AlCl3, the signals of the reaction of Ce(ⅡI)/Ce(0) and the synthesization of Al–Ce and Al–Li alloys were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, square-wave voltammetry, open-circuit chronopotentiometry and chronopotentiometry. These results indicated that AlCl3 can chloridize CeO2 and that it is possible to extract cerium and form Al–Ce and Al–Li–Ce alloys in LiCl–KCl–CeO2–AlCl3 melts. According to potentiostatic electrolysis, only the Al4 Ce layer coated the Al electrodes. According to galvanostatic electrolysis, Al–Ce(Al4Ce, Al3 Ce, and Al92Ce8), Al2Li3, and Al phases were formed on Mo electrodes, and the content of cerium in the Al–Li–Ce alloys was more than 17 wt%. | ZHANG Meng WANG HaoYu HAN Wei ZHANG MiLin LI YunNa WANG YanLi XUE Yun MA FuQiu ZHANG XingMei | 2014 | Science China Chemistry2014,57,11: | 2

Deep learning-based prediction of effluent quality of a constructed wetland显示文摘Data-driven approaches that make timely predictions about pollutant concentrations in the effluent of constructed wetlands are essential for improving the treatment performance of constructed wetlands. However, the effect of the meteorological condition and flow changes in a real scenario are generally neglected in water quality prediction. To address this problem,in this study,we propose an approach based on multi-source data fusion that considers the following indicators:water quality indicators, water quantity indicators, and meteorological indicators. In this study,we establish four representative methods to simultaneously predict the concentrations of three representative pollutants in the effluent of a practical large-scale constructed wetland:(1)multiple linear regression;(2)backpropagation neural network(BPNN);(3)genetic algorithm combined with the BPNN to solve the local minima problem;and(4)long short-term memory(LSTM)neural network to consider the influence of past results on the present. The results suggest that the LSTM-predicting model performed considerably better than the other deep neural network-based model or linear method, with a satisfactory R^(2).Additionally,given the huge fluctuation of different pollutant concentrations in the effluent,we used a moving average method to smooth the original data, which successfully improved the accuracy of traditional neural networks and hybrid neural networks. The results of this study indicate that the hybrid modeling concept that combines intelligent and scientific data preprocessing methods with deep learning algorithms is a feasible approach for forecasting water quality in the effluent of actual engineering. | Bowen Yang Zijie Xiao Qingjie Meng Yuan Yuan Wenqian Wang Haoyu Wang Yongmei Wang Xiaochi Feng | 2023 | Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,1: | 0
Carbon dots:An innovative luminescent nanomaterial显示文摘In recent years, carbon dots(CDs),including carbon nanodots, carbonized polymer dots, carbon quantum dots, and graphene quantum dots have attracted a mounting interest as readily accessible, nontoxic, and relatively inexpensive carbon-based nanomaterials.Yet,despite intense research for a number of years,a unifying picture is still lacking to clarify the exact definition, clear chemical structure, and unique optical properties of this family of nanomaterials. In this review,we systematically summarize the recent development of CDs from molecular design to related properties of excited states as well as their applications in optoelectronic devices and biology. We point out the current challenges, including exploring precise synthesis, clarifying the structure-property relationship, and regulating singlet and triplet states of fluorescence, phosphorescence, and delayed fluorescence. Moreover, the structural optimization of optoelectronic devices, tumor targeting mechanism, selective imaging, and drug delivery of CDs are also highlighted. We hope that the information provided in this review will inspire more exciting research on CDs from a brand-new perspective and promote practical application of CDs in multiple directions of current and future research. | Yuxin Shi Huimin Xu Ting Yuan Ting Meng Hao Wu Jianqiao Chang Haoyu Wang Xianzhi Song Yunchao Li Xiaohong Li Yang Zhang Wenjing Xie Louzhen Fan | 2022 | Aggregate2022,3,3: | 0
IMPACTS OF TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT ON THE ADOPTION OF ORGANIC FERTILIZERS AND BIOPESTICIDES AMONG FARMERS:EVIDENCE FROM HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE,CHINA显示文摘Excessive application of mineral fertilizers and synthetic pesticides poses a substantial threat to the soil and water environment and food security.Organic fertilizer and biopesticides have gradually become essential technology for reducing mineral fertilizer and pesticide inputs. In the process, the technical environment is critical for promoting farmer behavior related to the adoption of organic fertilizer and biopesticides. This paper analyzes the influence of the technical environment on farmer behavior related to the adoption of organic fertilizer and biopesticides based on a survey of 1282 farmers in Heilongjiang Province,China, using the bivariate probit model. The results indicate that(1)farmer behavior related to the adoption applying organic fertilizer and biopesticides were positively correlated;(2)the technical environment had a significant positive impact on farmer behavior related to the adoption of organic fertilizer and biopesticides;and(3)the technical environment had a heterogeneous effect across different groups of farmers. This research provides insights useful for promoting organic fertilizer and biopesticides to farmers. It can be helpful to bundle relevant environmental technologies, conduct technology training for farmers and strengthen the construction of rural information networks. | Haoyue YANG Ting MENG Wojciech J.FLORKOWSKI | 2023 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2023,10,1: | 0
