1Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb dating on plagiogranite from Kuerti ophiolite in Altay,North Xinjiang显示文摘Field observation, petrological and geochemical characteristics of plagiogranite from Kuerti ophiolite indicate a similar origin to those in shearing zones. It isderived from partial melting of amphibolite that is developed from gabbro within the ocean layer 3 shear zone by the low-angle shearing deformation during the oceanic crustmigrating process. Zircon SHRIMP age of 372±19 Ma for the plagioganite from Kuerti ophiolite indicates that thisophiolite formed in the Devonian period and it alsorepresented the time of extension of the Kuerti backarc basin that is relevant to the northwards subduction of thePaleo-Asian oceanic crust. 2Discovery of super-silicic and super-titanic garnets in garnet-pyroxenite in Zhaheba and its geological significance显示文摘Super-silicic garnet which exists stably at more than 5 GPa is a typical ultra-high pressure mineral. The super-silicic garnet and super-titanic garnet were discovered for the first time in garnet-pyroxenite of early Paleozoic Zhaheba-Aermantai orogenic belt in north Xinjiang. Our study indicates that these su- per-silicic garnets as well as super-titanic garnets were formed at a depth of at least 300 km. Their host rock―― garnet-pyroxenite is one kind of ultra-pressure metamorphic rocks which is related to the ul- tra-deep subduction of the oceanic crust. 4Molecular systematics, population genetics and phylogeography on planarians(Platyhelminths: Turbellaria): A brief review of molecular markers显示文摘Due to their characteristics, such as powerful regeneration capability, high susceptibility to xenobiotics, wide distribution and weak dispersion ability, planarians are used as ideal test animals in several research fields, and planarianology has become a more and more active subject. This paper reviews the research progress of planarians from the aspects of molecular phylogeny, molecular taxonomy, population genetics and phylogeography, and also summarizes the corresponding molecular markers applied. 7Genetic diversity,population structure and demographic history of Dugesia japonica in Taihang Mountains显示文摘The freshwater planarian Dugesia japonica has become a model organism in regeneration biology and toxicology due to its powerful regeneration capability and highly chemical sensitivity.Nonetheless,little is known about its evolutionary history and demographics.Taihang Mountains is the natural boundary between the Loess Plateau and the North China Plain,and is considered as one of the important priority areas for biodiversity conservation in China.In order to figure out the genetic diversity,population structure and demographic history of D.japonica in Taihang Mountains,a study based on the mitochondrial COI from 116 individuals sampled across 20 populations has been conducted.The results showed that the 116 COI sequences yielded 32 haplotypes,including 8 shared haplotypes and 24 private ones.The overall haplotype diversity(Hd)and nucleotide diversity(π)were 0.920 and 0.083,respectively.Even though the AMOVA results suggested that the genetic variation among populations was significant(FST=0.480,P<0.01),the phylogeny and haplotype network analysis based on 32 haplotypes revealed no obvious phylogeographic pattern.Furthermore,the significantly positive values of neutrality test(Tajima’s D=2.596,P<0.05;Fu’s Fs=2.769,P<0.01)together with the multimodal arrangement of mismatch distribution indicated that D.japonica in Taihang Mountains would have been undergoing population decline.We hope these findings will arouse conservation and management strategy regarding freshwater planarians and contribute to the biodiversity in the long run.Hecai Zhang Tiange Hu Changying Shi Guangwen Chen Dezeng Liu 2021Zoological Systematics2021,46,2:0
8Definition of Planarian Mortality in an Acute Toxicity Test:A Case Study on Dugesia japonica Exposed to 1-Octyl-3-methylimidazolium Bromide显示文摘In order to define the mortality criteria of planarian objectively,a case study of Dugesia japonica exposed to 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([C8mim]Br)was performed followed by a recovery culture.The results showed that defining planarian mortality in light of its body disintegration was appropriate.If the disintegrated tissue of a planarian was more than 1/4 of its body length,it would completely degenerate.However,a planarian would regenerate the lost tissue and return to normal after a few days’recovery culture if the disintegrated part was less than 1/4 of body length.Therefore,we propose to use body disintegration as the endpoint of planarian mortality,i.e.,1/4 body length degenerated is the critical threshold of mortality and survival of planarians when exposed to toxicants.This criterion could be adapted in the standardization of testing protocols and comparability of acute toxicity test or other toxicological research using planarian as the test animal.Zhang Hecai Liu Tongyi Liu Yanfang Zhang Jie Wang Zhige Chen Guangwen 2016生态毒理学报2016,11,6:0
