2Zinc Anode for Mild Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries: Challenges, Strategies, and Perspectives显示文摘The rapid advance of mild aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)is driving the development of the energy storage system market.But the thorny issues of Zn anodes,mainly including dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution,and corrosion,severely reduce the performance of ZIBs.To commercialize ZIBs,researchers must overcome formidable challenges.Research about mild aqueous ZIBs is still developing.Various technical and scientific obstacles to designing Zn anodes with high stripping efficiency and long cycling life have not been resolved.Moreover,the performance of Zn anodes is a complex scientific issue determined by various parameters,most of which are often ignored,failing to achieve the maximum performance of the cell.This review proposes a comprehensive overview of existing Zn anode issues and the corresponding strategies,frontiers,and development trends to deeply comprehend the essence and inner connection of degradation mechanism and performance.First,the formation mechanism of dendrite growth,hydrogen evolution,corrosion,and their influence on the anode are analyzed.Furthermore,various strategies for constructing stable Zn anodes are summarized and discussed in detail from multiple perspectives.These strategies are mainly divided into interface modification,structural anode,alloying anode,intercalation anode,liquid electrolyte,non-liquid electrolyte,separator design,and other strategies.Finally,research directions and prospects are put forward for Zn anodes.This contribution highlights the latest developments and provides new insights into the advanced Zn anode for future research.Jinzhang Yang Bosi Yin Ying Sun Hongge Pan Wenping Sun Baohua Jia Siwen Zhang Tianyi Ma 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,3:5
3Anisotropic thermoelectric properties of layered compound SnSe2显示文摘Similar to high performance SnSe thermoelectrics, SnSe2 is also a layered structured semiconductor.However, its anisotropic thermoelectric properties are less experimentally investigated. In this work,Cl-doped SnSe2 bulk materials are successfully prepared, and their thermal stability and anisotropic transport properties are systematically studied. Unexpectedly, different from the theoretical prediction and other typical layered thermoelectric compounds like Bi_2Te_3, the out-of-plane zT_c value is higher than in-plane zT_a for the same composition. The zT value is significantly enhanced by Cl doping. 4Porous Carbon Architecture Assembled by Cross-Linked Carbon Leaves with Implanted Atomic Cobalt for High-Performance Li-S Batteries显示文摘The practical application of lithium-sulfur batteries is severely hampered by the poor conductivity,polysulfide shuttle effect and sluggish reaction kinetics of sulfur cathodes.Herein,a hierarchi-cally porous three-dimension(3D)carbon architecture assembled by cross-linked carbon leaves with implanted atomic Co-N4 has been deli-cately developed as an advanced sulfur host through a SiO_(2)-mediated zeolitic imidazolate framework-L(ZIF-L)strategy.The unique 3D architectures not only provide a highly conductive network for fast electron transfer and buffer the volume change upon lithiation-delithi-ation process but also endow rich interface with full exposure of Co-N4 active sites to boost the lithium polysulfides adsorption and conversion.Owing to the accelerated kinetics and suppressed shuttle effect,the as-prepared sulfur cathode exhibits a superior electrochemical perfor-mance with a high reversible specific capacity of 695 mAh g^(−1) at 5 C and a low capacity fading rate of 0.053%per cycle over 500 cycles at 1 C.This work may provide a promising solution for the design of an advanced sulfur-based cathode toward high-performance Li-S batteries.Ruirui Wang Renbing Wu Chaofan Ding Ziliang Chen Hongbin Xu Yongfeng Liu Jichao Zhang Yuan Ha Ben Fei Hongge Pan 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10:3
5Highly active multivalent multielement catalysts derived from hierarchical porous TiNb_(2)O_(7) nanospheres for the reversible hydrogen storage of MgH_(2)显示文摘Critical limitations in applying MgH_(2) as a hydrogen-storage medium include the high H_(2) desorption temperature and slow reaction kinetics.In this study,we synthesized hierarchical porous TiNb_(2)O_(7) spheres in micrometer scale built with 20-50 nm nanospheres,which showed stable activity to catalyze hydrogen storage in MgH_(2) as precursors.The addition of 7 wt.%TiNb_(2)O_(7) in MgH_(2) reduced the dehydrogenation onset temperature from 300 to 177℃.At 250℃,approximately 5.5 wt.%H_(2) was rapidly released in 10 min.Hydrogen uptake was detected even at room temperature under 50 bar hydrogen;4.5 wt.%H_(2) was absorbed in 3 min at 150℃,exhibiting a superior low-temperature hydrogenation performance.Moreover,nearly constant capacity was observed from the second cycle onward,demonstrating stable cyclability.During the ball milling and initial de/hydrogenation process,the high-valent Ti and Nb of TiNb_(2)O_(7) were reduced to the lower-valent species or even zero-valent metal,which in situ created multivalent multielement catalytic surroundings.A strong synergistic effect was obtained for hybrid oxides of Nb and Ti by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,which largely weakens the Mg-H bonding and results in a large reduction in kinetic barriers for hydrogen storage reactions of MgH_(2).Our findings may guide the further design and development of high-performance complex catalysts for the reversible hydrogen storage of hydrides.Lingchao Zhang Ke Wang Yongfeng Liu Xin Zhang Jianjiang Hu Mingxia Gao Hongge Pan 2021Nano Research2021,14,1:2
6QTL mapping of agronomic and economic traits for four F_(2)populations of upland cotton显示文摘Background:Upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum)accounts for more than 90%of the annual world cotton output because of its high yield potential.However,yield and fiber quality traits often show negative correlations.We constructed four F_(2)populations of upland cotton,using two normal lines(4133B and SGK9708)with high yield potential but moderate fiber quality and two introgression lines(Suyuan04–3 and J02–247)with superior fiber quality,and used them to investigate the genetic basis underlying complex traits such as yield and fiber quality in upland cotton.We also phenotyped eight agronomic and economic traits and mapped quantitative trait loci(QTLs).Results:Extensive phenotype variations and transgressive segregation were found across the segregation populations.We constructed four genetic maps of 585.97 centiMorgan(cM),752.45 cM,752.45 cM,and 1163.66 cM,one for each of the four F_(2)populations.Fifty QTLs were identified across the four populations(7 for plant height,27 for fiber quality and 16 for yield).The same QTLs were identified in different populations,including qBW4 and qBW2,which were linked to a common simple sequence repeat(SSR)marker,NAU1255.A QTL cluster containing eight QTLs for six different traits was characterized on linkage group 9 of the 4133B×Suyuan04–3 population.Conclusions:These findings will provide insights into the genetic basis of simultaneous improvement of yield and fiber quality in upland cotton breeding.LI Hongge PAN Zhaoe HE Shoupu JIA Yinhua GENG Xiaoli CHEN Baojun WANG Liru PANG Baoyin DU Xiongming 2021Journal of Cotton Research2021,4,1:2
