1Discovery of hydrothermal venting community at the base of Cambrian barite in Guizhou Province,Western China: Implication for the Cambrian biological explosion显示文摘The barite deposit in the Niutitang Formation of Lower Cambrian,in Tianzhu County,Guizhou Province,western China,is a super- large barite deposit with about 2·109tons of reserves.Mineral,petrological and geochemical studies reveal that this barite deposit belongs to a hydrothermal sedimentary deposit.Microscopic observations indicate that a lot of algae,sponge spicules and tube-type fos- sils are well-preserved in this barite section,and moreover,those fossils share most characteristics of the deep-sea hydrothermal venting community in the modern Pacific.We suggest that the hydrothermal venting community was thriving in hydrothermal vent in early Cam- brian,and it is of great significance for elucidating the geological background of the‘‘Cambrian explosion’’.China Press.All rights reserved.Ruidong Yang Huairui Wei Miao Bao Wei Wang QiangWang Xiaodong Zhang Ling Liu 2008Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2008,18,1:10
2New Evidence for Hydrothermal Sedimentary Genesis of the Ni-Mo Deposits in Black Rock Series of the Basal Cambrian, Guizhou Province: Discovery of Coarse-Grained Limestones and its Geochemical Characteristics显示文摘The molybdenum-nickel deposits in Shuidong District of Nayong County (Guizhou Province, Southwest China) are found mainly in black shale series of Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation, which is another Mo-Ni-rich region besides Zunyi District (Guizhou province). Our systematic study on the Mo-Ni deposits in Tangjiaba of Nayong reveals that layered coarse-grained limestones, spherical beaded limestones concretions are hosted at the lower seam of the Mo-Ni deposits. Its strong negative carbon isotope anomaly (the carbon isotope value of the coarse-grained limestones varies from -2.148‰ to 8.223‰) is similar to that in the modern submarine black smoker chimney. The carbon in the coarse-grained limestones from black rock series of Nayong County might be deep source inorganic carbon. The seams, coarse-grained limestones, ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones and the roof and floor of the deposits are characterized by co-variation on the trace element spider diagram, showing good homology. The extraordinary enrichment of Ag, As and Sb resembles hydrothermal sedimentation. Pro-Earth's core elements Se is strongly enriched in Ni-Mo ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones. The ore-bearing rock series has an extremely low Th/U value (0.012-0.19); in the logU-logTh Cartesian Coordinates, the samples of the roof and floor of the deposits and ore-bearing coarse-grained limestones are found in the East Pacific tise; and the samples of coarse-grained limestones are found between the paleo-hydrothermal dedimentary area and the East Pacific tise. The chondrite-normalized rare earth element patterns of the Ni-Mo deposits show LREE enrichment, Ce negative anomaly, and Eu negative anomaly (which is supposed to be influenced by the deep magmatic processes in an extensional environment) resembles the rare earth element distribution patterns of the fluid and its sediments in modern submarine hydrothermal system. 3Discovery of an abnormally high-δ^(34)S barite deposit and a new understanding of global sulfur isotope variation during geological history显示文摘The evolution of the global sulfur isotope curve was plotted based on the δ34S values of evaporates resultant from oceanic evaporation. In the long period of geological history the δ34S values showed obvious peaks for three times during the process of ancient oceans' sulfur isotope evolution, namely the Early Cambrian (+30‰), the Late Devonian (+25‰) and the Permian-Triassic transition interval (+17‰), but the causes of the abnormal rise of sulfur isotopic values during the geological period are still in question. In this paper, 18 samples collected from a large Devonian barite deposit from Zhenning County were analyzed to determine their δ34S values, revealing that the 18 samples have very high δ34S values (δ34S=41.88‰-+68.39‰), with an average close to 56.30‰, which are higher than the isotopic values of contemporary sulfates (+17‰- +25‰). A comparative analysis was conducted of the emerging of high δ34S barite deposits (from Cambrian and Devonian) and the δ34S variation curves of the ancient oceans. The results indicate that the time when the obvious peaks of δ34S values appeared and the time of massive sedimentation of high δ34S barite deposits are very close to each other, which, in our opinion, is not a coincidence. There may exist some correlations between the sulfur isotope evolution of ancient oceans during the diverse periods of geological history and the massive sedimentation of high δ34S barite deposits. 4Mineralogy,sulfur isotopes and infrared microthermometric study of the Leishan-Rongjiang antimony ore field,SW China显示文摘The Leishan-Rongjiang antimony ore field(LAOF) is in a unique geotectonic location in the uplift between the Youjiang and Xiangzhong basins.This paper focuses on two representative deposits in the LAOF:the Bameng and Peize antimony(Sb) deposits.We analyzed fluid inclusions(FIs) in stibnite and coexisting quartz,as well as the sulfur isotopic composition of stibnite,to better understand the nature of the ore-forming fluid and the metallogenic process.The FIs data from samples of the stibnite and coexisting quartz indicate that the ore-forming fluids were characterized by low-temperature(150-210 ℃),low-salinity(1.5 wt%-6.0 wt%NaCl equiv.),and low-density(0.872-0.961 g/cm^3).The δ^(34)S values of stibnite(-8.21‰ to 3.76‰,average =-6.30‰)fall in between the sulfur isotopic compositions of the mantle and of biogenic sulfur in sedimentary rocks.However,the δ^(34)S_(∑s) values(-4.41 ‰ to +0.04‰,average =-2.49‰) of the ore-forming fluids are generally closer to the sulfur isotopic composition of the mantle source,indicating that the sulfur in the LAOF was mainly sourced from the mantle,but with possible involvement of biogenic sulfur.In addition,FIs petrography and ore deposit geology show that fluid boiling resulted from an abrupt decrease in pressure,which may have triggered the precipitation of stibnite.We conclude that low-temperature,dilute hydrothermal fluids with mixed origins migrated along the regional fault and interacted with the wall rock,extracting the ore-forming materials.Then,the oreforming fluids were injected into the fault fracture zones.Jun Chen Ruidong Yang Junbo Gao Lulin Zheng Lijuan Du Minggang Yuan Huairui Wei 2017Acta Geochimica2017,36,2:2

11Function identification of Md TIR1 in apple root growth benefited from the predicted Md PPI network显示文摘Protein–protein interaction(PPI)network analysis is an effective method to identify key proteins during plant development,especially in species for which basic molecular research is lacking,such as apple(Malus domestica).Here,an MdPPI network containing 30806 PPIs was inferred in apple and its quality and reliability were rigorously verified.Subsequently,a rootgrowth subnetwork was extracted to screen for critical proteins in root growth.Because hormone-related proteins occupied the largest proportion of critical proteins,a hormonerelated sub-subnetwork was further extracted from the root-growth subnetwork.Among these proteins,auxin-related M.domestica TRANSPORT INHIBITOR RESISTANT 1(MdTIR1)served as the central,high-degree node,implying that this protein exerts essential roles in root growth.Furthermore,transgenic apple roots overexpressing an MdTIR1 transgene displayed increased primary root elongation.Expression analysis showed that MdTIR1 significantly upregulated auxin-responsive genes in apple roots,indicating that it mediates root growth in an auxin-dependent manner.Further experimental validation revealed that MdTIR1 interacted with and accelerated the degradation of MdIAA28,MdIAA43,andMdIAA46.Thus,MdTIR1-mediated degradation of MdIAAs is critical in auxin signal transduction and root growth regulation in apple.Moreover,our network analysis and high-degree node screening provide a novel research technique for more generally characterizing molecular mechanisms.Lin Liu Zipeng Yu Yang Xu Cheng Guo Lei Zhang Changai Wu Guodong Yang Jinguang Huang Kang Yan Huairui Shu Chengchao Zheng Shizhong Zhang 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,4:0
12Transvenous injection of n-Butyl cyanoacrylate combined with placement of coils in cavernous sinus for treatment of cavernous dural arteriovenous fistulae显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the technical aspects,efficacy and safety in the treatment of cavernous dural arteriovenous fistulae (DAVF) by transvenous liquid n-Butyl cyanoacrylate (NBCA) injection combined with coils placement in the cavernous sinus.Methods:Eight patients with cavernous DAVF,treated by transvenous embolization with combination of detachable coils and glue between February 2006 and February 2009 in our hospital,were retrospectively analyzed,including the clinical presentations,patterns of angioarchitecture,methods of treatment and the results of follow-up.Results:In all 8 patients,9 transvenous and 1 transarterial interventions were carried out.A single endovascular procedure was performed in 6 patients and 2 patients had to be treated twice.Of the nine transvenous approaches,eight approaches were performed via inferior petrosal sinus (IPS) and 1 via the facial vein.Complete angiographic obliteration was achieved in all patients immediately after the embolization.There was no procedure-related morbidity except for mild headache for one to seven days after the embolization.Clinical cure was achieved in all cases during the clinical follow-up periods,ranging from 8 months to 3 years.The follow-up angiography periods averaged 6.6 months with a range of 5-9 months,in which no recurrence was observed.Conclusion:In this small series,embolization with combination of glue and detachable coils by transvenous approaches was a safe,effective and economical method for the treatment of part of symptomatic patients presenting with complex cavernous DAVF.Chen Huairui Bai Ruilin Wu Xiaojun Mei Qiyong Zhang Chenran Lu Yicheng 2010Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2010,25,5:0
13Comparative analysis of physicochemical properties,ginsenosides content andα-amylase inhibitory effects in white ginseng and red ginsen显示文摘Ginseng(Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer)as a common dietary adjunct is widely applied in Traditional Chinese Medicine due to its health-promoting properties,but the differences between white ginseng and red ginseng was rarely studied.In the present study,color parameters and scanning electron microscope(SEM)were determined to evaluate the differences of ginseng color and microstructure induced by processing procedure.Quantitative analysis of multi-components by a single-marker(QAMS)method and anti-α-amylase activity test were used to assess variations of chemical ingredients and pharmacological activity between white and red ginseng.Finally,molecular docking studies were carried out to screen out the most effective compound againstα-amylase.Results indicated that processing had a significant impact on the physicochemical properties and pharmacological activity of white and red ginseng.After processing,the color value of L*declined significantly.Red ginseng sample displayed a compact structure and presented of a gel layer on the surface compared to white ginseng.Additionally,the content of ginsenosides and the activity of anti-α-amylase decreased.The contents of total ginsenosides were positively correlated with the anti-α-amylase activities of ginseng,and ginsenoside Rb1 might be the most effective compound to inhibit the activity ofα-amylase.Huairui Wang Yao Cheng Xue Zhang Yingping Wang Hui Zhao 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,1:0
