1Short-pulsed Raman fiber laser and its dynamics显示文摘We provide a perspective review over the recent development of short-pulsed Raman fiber lasers(RFLs),which can provide laser emissions with flexible wavelengths for a variety of applications as well as an excellent platform to investigate various nonlinear pulse dynamics behaviors that cannot be captured in conventional rare-earth(RE)doped counterparts.Various pulse generation techniques have been explored in RFLs.However,the output pulse performance in terms of the pulse energy,duration and stability from short-pulsed RFLs is still inferior to their RE-doped counterparts despite significant advances made over the past few decades.Therefore,more efforts are required to improve these targets.In this review,we present a detailed overview of the short-pulsed RFLs based on different mechanisms from the principle to the experiment,including the Q-switching,gainswitching,mode-locking,synchronous pumping and other innovative techniques.In addition,Raman-induced pulse dynamics in ultrafast RFLs and RE-doped mode-locked fiber lasers(MLFLs)are briefly reviewed.Finally,a perspective outlook for the future ultrafast RFLs is provided based on their potential applications in industrial and scientific research areas.Jun Liu Jiadong Wu Hualong Chen Yu Chen Zhenhong Wang Chunyang Ma Han Zhang 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,1:4

6Mapping the scientific knowledge of glomalin-related soil protein with implications for carbon sequestration显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)derived refractory organic matter,mainly in glomalinrelated soil protein(GRSP),stores globally significant amounts of carbon,attracting wide attention in response to climatic change.However,there is no synthesis review has been done so far toreveal global research progresses on GRSP,especially its ecological role forclimate mitigation.Here,we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the papers on GRSP research from 1998 to 2021,based on the Web of Science(WOS)Core Collection.We collected a total of 634 papers and analyzed the characteristics of publication outputs in various countries and institutions.In addition,keywords analysis was conducted to reveal the main researchdirections and hot trends in the field of GRSP.We confirmed that 1)the number of papers published per year has gradually increased since 2010,and increased sharply in 2019;2)the United States was the earliest country to conduct GRSP research,while Chinacurrently has the largest number of publications;3)relevant studies focus on the role from AMF and GRSP in soil health and plant health;4)the contribution of GRSP to soil carbon and its ecological function in mitigatingclimate change are the hotspot of research.The benefits of GRSP have become a consensus,however,the nature of glomalin and the mechanisms of GRSP-associated benefits still need to explore.As an important soil recalcitrant organic carbon,further studies are need to elucidate the land-ocean biogeochemical processes of GRSP and its contribution to global blue carbon.Shanle Liu Qizhi Wang Lu Qian Binghuang Zhang Xiangwen Chen Hualong Hong Shengjie Wu Jingchun Liu Chongling Yan Haoliang Lu 2022Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2022,8,1:0

8Effectiveness of Xiangsha Liujun pills(香砂六君丸)on decreased digestive function in convalescent patients of coronavirus disease 2019:a randomized,double blind,placebo controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Xiangsha Liujun pills(香砂六君丸) on the decreased digestive function in patients in the recovery phase of the Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).METHODS:A randomized,double blind,placebo controlled clinical trial was conducted.A total of 200 COVID-19 patients in the recovery phase were included in our study in Ezhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Totally 200 subjects were randomly divided into a treatment group(Xiangsha Liujun pills) and a control group(placebo),with 100 in each group.Subjects took Xiangsha Liujun pills or placebo orally three times a day for two weeks.Three visits were scheduled at week 0(baseline),week 1(the middle of the intervention) and week 2(the end of the intervention) for each eligible patient.The total efficacy rates for improving the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptoms(fatigue,poor appetite,abdominal distension and loose stools) and the disappearance rates of symptoms were observed and compared in the treatment and control groups.Adverse events were recorded during the study period.SAS 9.4 was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:A total of 200 patients were included in this study,among which 4 participants withdrew because the drugs did not work.Three patients were excluded for age.Before the treatment,there was no significant difference between the TCM symptoms scores of subjects.After 1 week of treatment,the full analysis set(FAS) showed that the efficacy rates for abdominal distension and loose stools in the treatment group were significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in the efficacy rates for fatigue and poor appetite between the two groups(P > 0.05).In addition,the disappearance rate of fatigue in the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05);there were no significant differences between the two groups after treatment in the rates of poor appetite,abdominal distension,and loose stools(P > 0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the efficacy rates for fatigue,poor appetite,abdominal distension,and loose stools in the treatment group were significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05).The disappearance rate of loose stools in the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05).However,there were no significant differences in the disappearance rates of fatigue,poor appetite,and abdominal distension between the two groups(P > 0.05).No severe adverse events were reported by subjects during the study.CONCLUSIONS:This clinical study confirmed that Xiangsha Liujun pills can effectively improve the symptoms related to the decreased digestive function in COVID-19 convalescent patients.ZHANG Yuehong SHAO Xianzhi ZHAO Qianlong ZHAN Hualong ZHANG Jianhua DU Sisi CHEN Jing LIU Yingfang ZHOU Haiwang CHEN Xinsheng HONG Ying LIAN Fengmei TONG Xiaolin BA Yuanming 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,3:0
9Few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene for ultrafast photonics applications in visible band显示文摘Ti_(3)CN,as a typical hetero-MXene,has attracted tremendous attention for its unique properties.However,its ultrafast photonics applications are still rare.Here,the few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene was successfully prepared by selective etching and molecular delamination technique.The nonlinear optical response of few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene at 640 nm was studied using the open-aperture Z-scan technique.The asprepared Ti_(3)CN MXene sample exhibited excellent nonlinear saturable absorption characteristics,resulting in the nonlinear absorption coefficient b of4.05×10^(-2)cm/GW,which was one order of magnitude larger than that of black phosphorus(BP)and molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2)).For the optical modulation applications of few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene,passively Q-switched(PQS)solid-state visible lasers based on Ti_(3)CN saturable absorber(SA)at 522 nm,607 nm,639 nm,and 721 nm were successfully realized.Furthermore,a Ti_(3)CN-based stable passively mode-locked Pr:YLF red laser was also successfully achieved with a pulse duration of 30 ps,and the corresponding repetition rate was 73.1 MHz.The optical modulation device based on few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene shows good performance.Our work demonstrates that the tremendous prospects of the few-layer Ti_(3)CN MXene as a visible optical modulation device in ultrafast photonics applications.Zixin Yang Qi Yang Yulin Tian Xianghe Ren Chun Li Yuqian Zu Syed Zaheer Ud Din Lingfeng Gao Jian Wu Hualong Chen Han Zhang Jie Liu Jingliang He Abdullah GAl-Sehemi 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,1:0
10Boron quantum dots all-optical modulator based on efficient photothermal effect显示文摘All-optical devices without external electronic components have drawn extraordinary attentions in all-optical communication.In this work,boron quantum dots(BQDs)were synthesized by a facile liquid-phase exfoliation method.The as-prepared BQDs showed good structural homogeneity and crystallinity,broadband optical absorption as well as excellent photothermal properties.Femtosecond-resolved transient absorption further revealed the short carrier relaxation time of BQDs.Inspired by the outstanding photothermal properties and ultrafast carrier dynamic of BQDs,we fabricated BQDsbased all-optical modulator.The phase shift with a slope efficiency of 0.032π/m W and response time of 0.97 ms can be achieved.The modulator was used in laser resonance cavity to achieve all-optical actively Q-switched laser operation with control repetition rate.This prototypical BQDs-based all-optical modulator shows a great potential to be applied in all-optical information processing and communication.Cong Wang Qianyuan Chen Hualong Chen Jun Liu Yufeng Song Jie Liu Delong Li Yanqi Ge Youning Gong Yupeng Zhang Han Zhang 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,7:0

12A Study of Rust Layer of Ultra-Thin Cast Strip Steel Containing 0.10%Sb in Simulated Industrial Atmosphere显示文摘A new type of steel containing Sb based on the CASTRIP process had been designed to improve the corrosion resistance of high-strength steels in industrial atmospheres.The properties of the electrochemistry and rust layer(RL)were analyzed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the ultra-thin cast strip(UCS)steel containing 0.10%Sb.Experimental results showed that the corrosion resistance of UCS steel containing Sb was doubled compared to that of traditional hot rolling strip(HRS)steel.It could be interpreted as an integral effect of CASTRIP process and alloying elements.The optimization for microstructure and inclusion of UCS steel can reduce the localized corrosion effects in initial corrosion processes.Cu,P and Sb reduced the anodic reaction and CuFeO2/Cu2O,CuO,FePO4 and Sb2O3 were formed,promoting the transition fromγ-FeOOH toα-FeOOH.A(Cu,Sb,P)-enriched inner RL was generated and significantly improved protective ability of the RL.Long Chen Xintong Lian Zhong Xi Tengshi Liu Qingxiao Feng Hualong Li Yixin Shi Han Dong 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,8:0
13Improving electrochemical activity of PtRu/SnO_2/C catalyst by reduction treatment and alkaline etching显示文摘PtRu/SnO_2/C catalyst was prepared in a polyol process, followed by reduction treatment and alkaline etching. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscope with energy dispersive spectrometer and Xray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to characterize the morphology, structure and composition of the catalysts. CO and methanol electro-oxidation activities of the catalysts were evaluated by CO stripping voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry measurements. Reduction treatment of the prepared PtRuSnO_2/C catalyst in a polyol process induced the enrichment of Sn on the surface, inhibiting methanol dissolution and CO adsorption on Pt. 16[^(18)F]MAGL-4-11 positron emission tomography molecular imaging of monoacylglycerol lipase changes in preclinical liver fibrosis models显示文摘Monoacylglycerol lipase(MAGL) is a pivotal enzyme in the endocannabinoid system, which metabolizes 2-arachidonoylglycerol(2-AG) into the proinflammatory eicosanoid precursor arachidonic acid(AA). MAGL and other endogenous cannabinoid(EC) degrading enzymes are involved in the fibrogenic signaling pathways that induce hepatic stellate cell(HSC) activation and ECM accumulation during chronic liver disease. Our group recently developed an;F-labeled MAGL inhibitor([18F]MAGL-4-11)for PET imaging and demonstrated highly specific binding in vitro and in vivo. In this study, we determined [18F]MAGL-4-11 PET enabled imaging MAGL levels in the bile duct ligation(BDL) and carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4)) models of liver cirrhosis;we also assessed the hepatic gene expression of the enzymes involved with EC system including MAGL, NAPE-PLD, FAAH and DAGL that as a function of disease severity in these models;[18F]MAGL-4-11 autoradiography was performed to assess tracer binding in frozen liver sections both in animal and human. [18F]MAGL-4-11 demonstrated reduced PET signals in early stages of fibrosis and further significantly decreased with disease progression compared with control mice. We confirmed MAGL and FAAH expression decreases with fibrosisseverity, while its levels in normal liver tissue are high;in contrast, the EC synthetic enzymes NAPE-PLD and DAGL are enhanced in these different fibrosis models. In vitro autoradiography further supported that[18F]MAGL-4-11 bound specifically to MAGL in both animal and human fibrotic liver tissues.
