3MAPK signaling in inflammation-associated cancer development显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein(MAP)kinases comprise a family of protein-serine/threonine kinases,which are highly conserved in protein structures from unicellular eukaryotic organisms to multicellular organisms,including mammals.These kinases,including ERKs,JNKs and p38s,are regulated by a phosphorelay cascade,with a prototype of three protein kinases that sequentially phosphorylate one another.MAPKs transduce extracellular signals into a variety of cellular processes,such as cell proliferation,survival,death,and differentiation.Consistent with their essential cellular functions,MAPKs have been shown to play critical roles in embryonic development,adult tissue homeostasis and various pathologies.In this review,we discuss recent findings that reveal the profound impact of these pathways on chronic inflammation and,particularly,inflammation-associated cancer development.Pengyu Huang Jiahuai Han Lijian Hui 2010Protein & Cell2010,1,3:25

8Construction of deep-blue AIE luminogens with TPE and oxadiazole units显示文摘In this paper, two AIE-active luminogens (Oxa-pTPE and Oxa-mTPE) constructed from tetraphenylethene and oxadiazole units were successfully synthesized and their thermal, optical and electronic properties were investigated. By linking TPE to the oxadiazole core through meta-or para-position, the intramolecular conjugation is effectively controlled. 10An ultra-fast charging strategy for lithium-ion battery at low temperature without lithium plating显示文摘Conventional charging methods for lithium-ion battery(LIB)are challenged with vital problems at low temperatures:risk of lithium(Li)plating and low charging speed.This study proposes a fast-charging strategy without Li plating to achieve high-rate charging at low temperatures with bidirectional chargers.The strategy combines the pulsed-heating method and the optimal charging method via precise control of the battery states.A thermo-electric coupled model is developed based on the pseudo-twodimensional(P2D)electrochemical model to derive charging performances.Two current maps of pulsed heating and charging are generated to realize real-time control.Therefore,our proposed strategy achieves a 3 C equivalent rate at 0℃ and 1.5 C at-10℃ without Li plating,which is 10–30 times faster than the traditional methods.The entropy method is employed to balance the charging speed and the energy efficiency,and the charging performance is further enhanced.For practical application,the power limitation of the charger is considered,and a 2.4 C equivalent rate is achieved at 0℃ with a 250 kW maximum power output.This novel strategy significantly expands LIB usage boundary,and increases charging speed and battery safety.Yudi Qin Pengyu Zuo Xiaoru Chen Wenjing Yuan Rong Huang Xiaokan Yang Jiuyu Du Languang Lu Xuebing Han Minggao Ouyang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,9:1

12Characterization of glutamatergic VTA neural population responses to aversive and rewarding conditioning in freely-moving mice显示文摘The Ventral Tegmental Area(VTA) is a midbrain structure known to integrate aversive and rewarding stimuli, but little is known about the role of VTA glutamatergic(VGluT2) neurons in these functions.Direct activation of VGluT2 soma evokes rewarding behaviors, while activation of their downstream projections evokes aversive behaviors. To facilitate our understanding of these conflicting properties, we recorded calcium signals from VTAVGluT2+ neurons using fiber photometry in VGluT2-cre mice to investigate how this population was recruited by aversive and rewarding stimulation, both during unconditioned and conditioned protocols. Our results revealed that, as a population, VTAVGluT2+neurons responded similarly to unconditioned-aversive and unconditioned-rewarding stimulation. During aversive and rewarding conditioning, the CS-evoked responses gradually increased across trials whilst the US-evoked response remained stable. Retrieval 24 h after conditioning, during which mice received only CS presentation, resulted in VTAVGluT2+ neurons strongly responding to CS presentation and to the expected-US but only for aversive conditioning. To help understand these differences based on VTAVGluT2+ neuronal networks, the inputs and outputs of VTAVGluT2+ neurons were investigated using Cholera Toxin B(CTB) and rabies virus. 13Prediction-Based Distance Weighted Algorithm for Target Tracking in Binary Sensor Network显示文摘Binary sensor network(BSN) are becoming more attractive due to the low cost deployment,small size,low energy consumption and simple operation.There are two different ways for target tracking in BSN,the weighted algorithms and particle filtering algorithm.The weighted algorithms have good realtime property,however have poor estimation property and some of them does not suit for target’s variable velocity model.The particle filtering algorithm can estimate target's position more accurately with poor realtime property and is not suitable for target’s constant velocity model.In this paper distance weight is adopted to estimate the target’s position,which is different from the existing distance weight in other papers.On the analysis of principle of distance weight (DW),prediction-based distance weighted(PDW) algorithm for target tracking in BSN is proposed.Simulation results proved PDW fits for target's constant and variable velocity models with accurate estimation and good realtime property.SUN Xiaoyan LI Jiandong CHEN Yanhui HUANG Pengyu 2010China Communications2010,7,4:0
14Air-Stable Binary Hydrated Eutectic Electrolytes with Unique Solvation Structure for Rechargeable Aluminum-Ion Batteries显示文摘Aluminum-ion batteries(AIBs)have been highlighted as a potential alternative to lithium-ion batteries for large-scale energy storage due to the abundant reserve,light weight,low cost,and good safety of Al.However,the development of AIBs faces challenges due to the usage of AlCl_(3)-based ionic liquid electrolytes,which are expensive,corrosive,and sensitive to humidity.Here,we develop a low-cost,non-corrosive,and air-stable hydrated eutectic electrolyte composed of aluminum perchlorate nonahydrate and methylurea(MU)ligand.Through optimizing the molar ratio to achieve the unique solvation structure,the formed Al(ClO_4)_(3)·9H_(2)O/MU hydrated deep eutectic electrolyte(AMHEE)with an average coordination number of 2.4 can facilely realize stable and reversible deposition/stripping of Al.When combining with vanadium oxide nanorods positive electrode,the Al-ion full battery delivers a high discharge capacity of 320 mAh g^(-1)with good capacity retention.The unique solvation structure with a low desolvation energy of the AMHEE enables Al^(3+)insertion/extraction during charge/discharge processes,which is evidenced by in situ synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction.This work opens a new pathway of developing low-cost,safe,environmentally friendly and high-performance electrolytes for practical and sustainable AIBs.Pengyu Meng Jian Huang Zhaohui Yang Min Jiang Yibo Wang Wei Zhang Jiao Zhang Baode Sun Chaopeng Fu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,10:0

16CPAL, as a New Mediator of Cardiomyocyte Metabolic Alterations and Pyroptosis, Regulates Myocardial Infarction Injury in Mice显示文摘Myocardial infarction (MI), the most serious of the ischemic heart diseases, is accompanied by myocardial metabolic disorders and the loss of cardiomyocytes. Increasing evidence has shown that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved in various pathological conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), and are emerging as a novel biomarker for these disorders. This study aims to investigate the regulatory role and mechanisms of lncRNAs in myocardial remodeling in the setting of MI. We find that post-infarcted hearts exhibit a reduction of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and an alteration of the glucose and lipid metabolism genes cluster of differentiation 36 (CD36), hexokinase 1 (HK1), and clucose transporter 4 (GLUT4), accompanied by cardiomyocyte pyroptosis. We then identify a previously unknown conserved lncRNA, AK009126 (cardiomyocyte pyroptosis-associated lncRNA, CPAL), which is remarkably upregulated in the myocardial border zone of MI mice. Importantly, the adeno-associated virus 9 (AAV9)-mediated silencing of endogenous CPAL by its short hairpin RNA (shRNA) partially abrogates myocardial metabolic alterations and cardiomyocyte pyroptosis during MI in mice. Mechanistically, CPAL is shown to bind directly to nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB) and to act as an activator of NFκB to induce NFκB phosphorylation in cardiomyocytes. We also find that CPAL upregulates caspase-1 expression at the transcriptional level and consequently promotes the release of interleukin (IL)-18 and IL-1β from cardiomyocytes. 18Green Fabrication of Freestanding Piezoceramic Films for Energy Harvesting and Virus Detection显示文摘Most electronics such as sensors,actuators and energy harvesters need piezoceramic films to interconvert mechanical and electrical energy.Transferring the ceramic films from their growth substrates for assembling electronic devices commonly requires chemical or physical etching,which comes at the sacrifice of the substrate materials,film cracks,and environmental contamination.Here,we introduce a van der Waals stripping method to fabricate large-area and freestanding piezoceramic thin films in a simple,green,and cost-effective manner.The introduction of the quasi van der Waals epitaxial platinum layer enables the capillary force of water to drive the separation process of the film and substrate interface.The fabricated lead-free film,Ba_(0.85)Ca_(0.15)Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9)O_(3)(BCZT),shows a high piezoelectric coefficient d_(33)=209±10 pm V−1 and outstanding flexibility of maximum strain 2%.The freestanding feature enables a wide application scenario,including micro energy harvesting,and covid-19 spike protein detection.We further conduct a life cycle analysis and quantify the low energy consumption and low pollution of the water-based stripping film method.Shiyuan Liu Junchen Liao Xin Huang Zhuomin Zhang Weijun Wang Xuyang Wang Yao Shan Pengyu Li Ying Hong Zehua Peng Xuemu Li Bee Luan Khoo Johnny C.Ho Zhengbao Yang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9:0
