1Enhancing the antihepatitis B virus immune response by adefovir dipivoxil and entecavir therapies显示文摘Chronicity of hepatitis B(CHB)infection is characterized by a weak immune response to the virus.Entecavir(ETV)and adefovir dipivoxil(ADV)are effective in suppressing hepatitis B virus(HBV)replication.However,the underlying immune mechanism in the antiviral response of patients treated with nucleoside or nucleotide analogs is not clearly understood.In this study,regulatory T cells(Tregs)and intracellular cytokines,including IL-2,interferon(IFN)-γ,tumor-necrosis factor(TNF)-α and IL-4,were measured prior to and at 12,24,36 and 48 weeks after treatment with ETV or ADV.The cytokines were increased from 24 to 48 weeks after treatment.Higher levels of Th1 cytokines were observed with ETV(n=29)versus ADV(n=28)treatment.By contrast,the numbers of Tregs in both groups were decreased.The altered cytokine profile and cellular component was accompanied by a decrease in HBV DNA levels in both groups,which may contribute to their therapeutic effect in CHB infection.Our findings suggest that the antiviral effect of the drugs may be attributed not only to their direct effect on virus suppression but also to their immunoregulatory capabilities.Yanfang Jiang Wanyu Li Lei Yu Jingjing Liu Guijie Xin Hongqing Yan Pinghui Sun Hong Zhang Damo Xu Junqi Niu 2011Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011,8,1:16

3Influences of working pressure on properties for TiO_2 films deposited by DC pulse magnetron sputtering显示文摘TiO2 films were deposited at room temperature by DC pulse magnetron sputtering system.The crystalline structures,morphological features and photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films were systematically investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),atomic force microscopy(AFM) and ultraviolet spectrophotometer,respectively.The results indicated that working pressure was the key deposition parameter in?uencing the TiO2 film phase composition at room temperature,which directly affected its photocatalytic activity.With increasing working pressure,the target self-bias decreases monotonously.Therefore,low temperature TiO2 phase(anatase) could be deposited with high working pressure.The anatase TiO2 films deposited with 1.4 Pa working pressure displayed the highest photocatalytic activity by the decomposition of Methyl Orange solution,which the degradation rate reached the maximum(35%) after irradiation by ultraviolet light for 1 h.ZHANG Can DING Wanyu WANG Hualin CHAI Weiping JU Dongying 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,6:11
4Enhancing low-temperature NH_(3)-SCR performance of Fe-Mn/CeO_(2)catalyst by Al_(2)O_(3)modification显示文摘In the work,supported catalysts of FeO_(x) and MnO_(x) co-supported on aluminum-modified CeO_(2)was synthesized for low-temperature NH_(3)-selective catalytic reduction(NH_(3)-SCR)of NO.Impressively,the SCR activity of the obtained catalyst is markedly influenced by the adding amount of Al and the appropriate Ce/Al molar ratio is 1/2.The activity tests demonstrate that Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2 catalyst shows over 90%NO conversion at 75-250℃and exhibits better SO_(2)resistance compared to Fe-Mn/CeO_(2).Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2 shows the expected physicochemical characters of the ideal catalyst including the larger surface and increased active reaction active sites by controlling the amount of Al doping.Also,the better catalytic activity is well correlated with the present advantaged surface adsorption oxygen species,Mn^(4+)species,Ce^(3+)species and the enhanced reducibility of Fe-Mn/Ce1 Al2,which is superior to the Fe-Mn/CeO_(2)catalyst.More importantly,we further demonstrate that the amount and strength of surface acid sites are improved by Al-doping and more active intermediates(monodentate nitrate)is generated during NH_(3)-SCR reaction.This work provides certain insight into the rational creation of simple and practical denitration catalyst environmental purification.Lulu Li Jiawei Ji Wei Tan Wang Song Xin Wang Xiaoqian Wei Kai Guo Wanyu Zhang Changjin Tang Lin Dong 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:2
5Effects of imazethapyr spraying on plant growth and leaf surface microbial communities in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Imazethapyr (IM) is an acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibiting herbicide that has been widely used in recent years.However,IM spraying can lead to the accumulation of herbicide residues in leaves.Here,we determined the effects of IM spraying on the plant growth and leaf surface microbial communities of Arabidopsis thaliana after 7 and 14 days of exposure.The results suggested that IM spraying inhibited plant growth.Fresh weight decreased to 48% and 26% of the control value after 7 and 14 days,respectively,of 0.035 kg/ha IM exposure.In addition,anthocyanin content increased 9.2-fold and 37.2-fold relative to the control content after 7 and 14 days of treatment,respectively.Furthermore,IM spraying destroyed the cell structures of the leaves,as evidenced by increases in the number of starch granules and the stomatal closure rate.Reductions in photosynthetic efficiency and antioxidant enzyme activity were observed after IM spraying,especially after 14 days of exposure.The diversity and evenness of the leaf microbiota were not affected by IM treatment,but the composition of community structure at the genus level was altered by IM spraying.Imazethapyr application increased the abundance of Pseudomonas,a genus that includes species pathogenic to plants and humans,indicating that IM potentially increased the abundance of pathogenic bacteria on leaves.Our findings increase our understanding of the relationships between herbicide application and the microbial community structures on plant leaves,and they provide a new perspective for studying the ecological safety of herbicide usage.Wanyue Liu Mingjing Ke Zhenyan Zhang Tao Lu Youchao Zhu Yan Li Xiangliang Pan Haifeng Qian 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,11:2

7Control of fibrosis and hypertrophic scar formation via glycolysis regulation with IR780显示文摘Background:Hypertrophic scars(HS)represent one of the most common clinical challenges due to unsatisfactory therapeutic results.HS formation is associated with the abnormal activation of fibroblasts and their excessive fibrotic behavior.Glycolysis dysregulation has been shown to participate in the incidence and progression of various fibrotic diseases and shows potential as a means of controlling HS formation.This work aimed to discuss the impact of augmented glycolysis on HS and to propose a method for controlling HS formation through glycolysis regulation.Methods:Here,augmented glycolysis was confirmed together with enhanced fibrotic activity in both HS fibroblasts(HFs)and HS tissues,and the suppression of glycolysis also attenuated fibroblast activation.We also introduced IR780,a heptamethine cyanine dye,to regulate glycolysis for the control of HS formation.Results:In vitro,cell studies indicated that IR780 significantly down-regulated glycolysis and suppressed the fibrotic activity of HFs.In vivo,the intralesional injection of IR780 into rabbit HS models led to the downregulation of glycolysis and the control of HS formation.Furthermore,IR780 accumulated preferentially in activated fibroblasts in both in vitro and in vivo studies,and thus specifically downregulated glycolysis and efficiently controlled fibrosis by targeting activated fibroblasts.Conclusions:This work identified a strategy for controlling fibrosis and HS formation from the perspective of glycolysis regulation with IR780 targeting of activated fibroblasts.Xinxian Meng Zhixi Yu Wanyu Xu Jun Chai Shuo Fang Peiru Min Yunsheng Chen Yixin Zhang Zheng Zhang 2022Burns & Trauma2022,10,1:2
8Review on occupancy detection and prediction in building simulation显示文摘Energy simulation results for buildings have significantly deviated from actual consumption because of the uncertainty and randomness of occupant behavior.Such differences are mainly caused by the inaccurate estimation of occupancy in buildings.Therefore,the error between reality and prediction could be largely reduced by improving the accuracy level of occupancy prediction.Although various studies on occupancy have been conducted,there are still many differences in the approaches to detection,prediction,and validation.Reports published within this domain are reviewed in this article to discover the advantages and limitations of previous studies,and gaps in the research are identified for future investigation.Six methods of monitoring and their combinations are analyzed to provide effective guidance in choosing and applying a method.The advantages of deterministic schedules,stochastic schedules,and machine-learning methods for occupancy prediction are summarized and discussed to improve prediction accuracy in future work.Moreover,three applications of occupancy models—improving building simulation software,facilitating building operation control,and managing building energy use—are examined.This review provides theoretical guidance for building design and makes contributions to building energy conservation and thermal comfort through the implementation of intelligent control strategies based on occupancy monitoring and prediction.Yan Ding Shuxue Han Zhe Tian Jian Yao Wanyue Chen Qiang Zhang 2022Building Simulation2022,15,3:2
9Theory assisted design of N-doped tin oxides for enhanced electrochemical CO2 activation and reduction显示文摘Clearly understanding the structure-function relationship and rational design of efficient CO2 electrocatalysts are still the challenges.This article describes the molecular origin of high selectivity of formic acid on N-doped SnO2 nanoparticles,which obtained via thermal treatment of g-C3N4 and SnCl2·2H2O precursor.Combined with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we discover that N-doping effectively introduces oxygen vacancies and increases the charge density of Sn sites,which plays a positive role in CO2 activation.In addition,N-doping further regulates the adsorption energy of^*OCHO,^*COOH,^*H and promotes HCOOH generation.Benefited from above modulation,the obtained N-doped SnO2 catalysts with oxygen vacancies(Ov-N-SnO2)exhibit faradaic efficiency of 93% for C1 formation,88% for HCOOH production and well-suppression of H2 evolution over a wide range of potentials.Congling Hu Lei Zhang Lulu Li Wenjin Zhu Wanyu Deng Hao Dong Zhi-Jian Zhao Jinlong Gong 2019Science China Chemistry2019,62,8:2

14Genesis of Kaolinite Deposits in the Jungar Coalfield,North China:Petrological,Mineralogical and Geochemical Evidence显示文摘Petrological,mineralogical and geochemical studies carried out on kaolinite deposits in Haerwusu surface mine,Jungar Coalfield,northern Ordos Basin,North China,define their characteristics,ore genesis and economic interest.Based on the crystalline size,two different types of kaolinite rocks,cryptocrystalline and grainy,were identified under the microscope.XRD data show that kaolinite is the predominant mineral,associated with boehmite,magnesite,anatase,pyrite,diaspore and calcite.However,high boehmite content(mean 70%)shows up in the middle layers.Kaolinite minerals present homogeneous shape and a good crystallinity(HI=0.96–1.26).Geochemical studies show that the SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)molar ratio of kaolinite is close to the theoretical value,and the contents of Na_(2)O,K_(2)O,CaO,Mg O are less,suggesting a strong chemical weathering environment.The REE and Eu anomalies show a close relationship between kaolinite and the Yinshan Oldland granite.A Ce anomaly reflects a continental sedimentary environment with shallow water.A temperature range of 26.7–34℃was calculated on the basis of the isotopic signatures(δ18O,δD)of the kaolinite rocks.All these data indicate that the formation of the kaolinite is caused mainly by the dissolution,coagulation,precipitation and recrystallization of aluminosilicate clastics in acidic conditions.The formation of boehmite in the middle layers indicates that the source rocks have changed.Boehmite is mainly formed by dehydration and compaction of an aluminum-rich colloid which transported into peat swamp during diagenesis.In addition,it formed by desiliconization of kaolinite under acidic conditions.Due to its high kaolinite content(up to 90%)and low iron mineral content(less than 1%),and good crystallinity,kaolinite deposits occurred at Haerwusu surface mine probably have great economical value in the future.LIU Linsong ZHANG Tongjun LIU Jianping LIU Qinfu LI Kuo LIU Di LIU Wanyue 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,2:1
15Simultaneous removal of Cr(Ⅵ), Cd, and Pb from aqueous solution by iron sulfide nanoparticles: Influencing factors and interactions of metals显示文摘Cadmium(Cd),lead(Pb),and hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ)) are often found in soils and water affected by metal smelting,chemical manufacturing,and electroplating.In this study,synthetic iron sulfide nanoparticles(FeS NPs) were stabilized with carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) and utilized to remove Cr(Ⅵ),Cd,and Pb from an aqueous solution.Batch experiments,a Visual MINTEQ model,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS) analysis were used to determine the removal efficiencies,influencing factors,and mechanisms.The FeS NP suspension simultaneously removed Cr(Ⅵ),Cd,and Pb from an aqueous solution.The concentrations of Cr(Ⅵ),Cd,and Pb decreased from 50,10,and 50 mg·L^(-1) to 2.5,0.1,and 0.1 mg·L^(-1),respectively.The removal capacities were up to 418,96,and 585 mg per gram of stabilized FeS NPs,respectively.The acidic conditions significantly favored the removal of aqueous Cr(Ⅵ) while the alkaline conditions favored the removal of Cd and Pb.Oxygen slightly inhibited the removal of Cr(Ⅵ),but it had no significant influence on the removal of Cd and Pb.A potential mechanism was proposed for the simultaneous removal of Cr(Ⅵ),Cd,and Pb using FeS NPs.The interactions of the three heavy metals involved a cationic bridging effect on Cr(Ⅵ) by Cd,an enhanced adsorption effect on Cd by [Cr,Fe](OH)_3,precipitation of PbCrO_4,and transformation of PbCrO_4 to PbS.Therefore,FeS NPs have a high potential for use in the simultaneous removal of Cr(Ⅵ),Cd,and Pb from contaminated aqueous solutions.Qingrong Zou Wanyu Wang Tong Zhang Yuanyuan Liu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,12:1

17The cell cycle inhibitor P21 promotes the development of pulmonary fibrosis by suppressing lung alveolar regeneration显示文摘The cell cycle inhibitor P21 has been implicated in cell senescence and plays an important role in the injury-repair process following lung injury.Pulmonary fibrosis(PF)is a fibrotic lung disorder characterized by cell senescence in lung alveolar epithelial cells.In this study,we report that P21 expression was increased in alveolar epithelial type 2 cells(AEC2 s)in a time-dependent manner following multiple bleomycin-induced PF.Repeated injury of AEC2 s resulted in telomere shortening and triggered P21-dependent cell senescence.AEC2 s with elevated expression of P21 lost their self-renewal and differentiation abilities.In particular,elevated P21 not only induced cell cycle arrest in AEC2 s but also bound to P300 andβ-catenin and inhibited AEC2 differentiation by disturbing the P300-β-catenin interaction.Meanwhile,senescent AEC2 s triggered myofibroblast activation by releasing profibrotic cytokines.Knockdown of P21 restored AEC2-mediated lung alveolar regeneration in mice with chronic PF.The results of our study reveal a mechanism of P21-mediated lung regeneration failure during PF development,which suggests a potential strategy for the treatment of fibrotic lung diseases.Xiaoxi Lv Chang Liu Shanshan Liu Yunxuan Li Wanyu Wang Ke Li Fang Hua Bing Cui Xiaowei Zhang Jiaojiao Yu Jinmei Yu ZhuoWei Hu 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:1
18Functional characterization of an orexin neuropeptide in amphioxus reveals an ancient origin of orexin/orexin receptor system in chordate显示文摘Amphioxus belongs to the subphylum cephalochordata, an extant representative of the most basal chordates, whose regulation of endocrine system remains ambiguous. Here we clearly demonstrated the existence of a functional orexin neuropeptide in amphioxus, which is able to interact with orexin receptor, activate both PKC and PKA pathways, decrease leptin expression, and stimulate lipogenesis. We also showed the transcription level of amphioxus orexin was affected by fasting or temperature,indicating a role of this gene in the regulation of energy balance. In addition, the expression of the amphioxus orexin was detected at cerebral vesicle, which has been proposed to be a homolog of the vertebrate brain. 20Microwave induced in-situ formation of SiC nano wires on SiCNO ceramic aerogels with excellent electromagnetic wave absorption performance显示文摘Electromagnetic absorption(EMA)materials with light weight and harsh environmental robustness are highly desired and crucially important in the stealth of high-speed vehicles.However,meeting these two requirements is always a great challenge,which excluded the most attractive lightweight candidates,such as carbon-based materials.In this study,SiC_(nw)-reinfbrced SiCNO(SiC_(nw)/SiCNO)composite aerogels were fabricated through the in-situ growth of SiC_(nw) in polymer-derived SiCNO ceramic aerogels by using catalyst-assisted microwave heating at ultra-low temperature and in short time.The phase composition,microstructure,and EMA property of the SiC_(nw)/SiCNO composite aerogels were systematically investigated.The results indicated that the morphology and phase composition of SiC_(nw)/SiCNO composite aerogels can be regulated easily by varying the microwave treatment temperature.The composite aerogels show excellent EMA property with minimum reflection loss of -23.9 dB@13.8 GHz,-26.5 dB@10.9 GHz,and -20.4 dB@14.5 GHz and the corresponding effective bandwidth of 5.2 GHz,3.2 GHz,and 4.8 GHz at 2.0 mm thickness for microwave treatment at 600℃,800℃,and 1000℃,respectively,which is much better than that of SiCN ceramic aerogels.The superior EMA performance is mainly attributed to the improved impedance matching,multireflection,multi-interfacial polarization,and micro current caused by migration of hopping electrons.Keke YUAN Daoyang HAN Junfang LIANG Wanyu ZHAO Mingliang LI Biao ZHAO Wen LIU Hongxia LU Hailong WANG Hongliang XU Gang SHAO Rui ZHANG 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5:1
