| 1 | Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA) for Future Downlink Radio Access of 5G显示文摘Multiple access(MA) technology is of most importance for 5G. Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) utilizing power domain and advanced receiver has been considered as a promising candidate MA technology recently. In this paper, the NOMA concept is presented toward future enhancements of spectrum efficiency in lower frequency bands for downlink of 5G system. Key component technologies of NOMA are presented and discussed including multiuser transmission power allocation, scheduling algorithm, receiver design and combination of NOMA with multi-antenna technology. The performance gains of NOMA are evaluated by system-level simulations with very practical assumptions. | 2 | Clinical characteristics and effectiveness of antiviral agents in hospitalized children with infectious mononucleosis in China:A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Importance:The clinical characteristics of infectious mononucleosis(IM)in Chinese children have not been evaluated in multicenter studies,and the effectiveness of antiviral treatment are controversial.Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of Chinese children with IM and current status of antiviral therapy for affected patients.Methods:Hospitalized patients with IM were enrolled between 2018 and 2020 in five children’s hospitals in China.The clinical characteristics were compared among four age groups:<3 years,3-<6 years,6-<10 years,and≥10 years.The clinical characteristics of IM and effectiveness of antiviral therapy were compared among patients receiving acyclovir(ACV),ganciclovir(GCV),and no antiviral therapy(i.e.,non-antiviral group).Results:In total,499 patients were analyzed;most patients were 3-<6 years of age.The most common symptoms and signs included fever(100%),lymphadenopathy(98.6%),pharyngitis(86.4%),eyelid edema(76.8%),and snoring(72.9%).There were significant differences in rash,hepatomegaly,and liver dysfunction among the four age groups.Patients aged<3 years had a lower incidence of liver dysfunction and a higher incidence of rash.Among the 499 patients,50.1%were treated with GCV,26.3%were treated with ACV,and 23.6%received no antiviral therapy.Compared with the non-antiviral group,patients in the ACV and GCV groups had longer durations of fever(P<0.001).There were no significant differences in the incidences of complications among the three treatment groups.Interpretation:The incidence of IM in Chinese children peaked at 3-<6 years of age.Clinical features of IM varied according to age.Patients receiving antiviral therapy exhibited more serious clinical manifestations than did patients without antiviral therapy.The effectiveness of antiviral therapy for IM requires further analysis. | Huili Hu Huiling Deng Jing Bi Yi Xu Shuangjie Li Yue Xie Xinrong Sun Dongmeng Wang Xufang Li Wenxian Ouyang Bing Hu Yufeng Zhang He Tang Chunxiao Fang Hui Zhang Lingyun Guo Chen Wang Tianyi Wang Fengxia Yang Tao Jiang Zhengde Xie Gang Liu | 2021 | Pediatric Investigation2021,5,3: | 12 |

| 5 | Effects of genistein on neuronal apoptosis,and expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in the hippocampus of ovariectomized rats显示文摘Genistein is one of several isoflavones that has a structure similar to 17β-estradiol, has a strong antioxidant effect, and a high affinity to estrogen receptors. At 15 weeks after ovariectomy, the expression of Bcl-2 in the hippocampus of rats decreased and Bax expression increased, with an obvious upregulation of apoptosis. However, intraperitoneal injection of genistein or 17β-estradiol for 15 consecutive weeks from the second day after operation upregulated Bcl-2 protein expression downregulated Bax protein expression, and attenuated hippocampal neuron apoptosis. Our experimental findings indicate that long-term intervention with genistein can lead to a decrease in apoptosis in hippocampal neurons following ovariectomy, upregulate the expression of Bcl-2, and downregulate the expression of Bax. | 9 | Carbonaceous Nanofibers-titanium Dioxide Nanocomposites: Synthesis and Use as a Platform for Removal of Dye Pollutants显示文摘A mild chemistry route was developed to prepare carbonaceous nanofibers-titanium dioxide(CNF-TiO_2) nanocomposites for removal of dye pollutants. In the process of the template-directed hydrothermal carbonization(HTC), ultrathin Te nanowires were adopted as templates and glucose as the carbon source, and TiO_2 was decorated on CNF via the hydrolysis of tetrabutyltitanate in the presence of CNF in ethanol. The as-prepared materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray(EDX) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). SEM and TEM observations displayed that TiO_2 nanoparticles were anchored on the CNF. EDX and XRD data confirmed that the assynthesized samples were CNF-TiO_2, and TiO_2 belonged to anatase titania. Taking advantage of combined benefits of carbonaceous nanofibers and titanium dioxide, these CNF-TiO_2 nanocomposites exhibited higher removal efficiency in a short time and showed good reusability. It was showed that over 97% of Rhodamine B could be removed in 15 min without generating the solid and liquid wastes. The removal efficiency of dyes was still over 80% after reuse in five cycles. | 11 | Flexible organic thin-film transistors based on poly(3-hexylthiophene) films for nitrogen dioxide detection显示文摘Flexible nitrogen dioxide(NO_2) gas sensors based on organic thin-film transistors(OTFTs) were developed in this work, in which conductive indium tin oxide(ITO) coated polyethylene naphthalene-2,6-dicarboxylate(PEN) was designed for the flexible substrates, and poly methyl methacrylate(PMMA) and poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) was spin-coated as the gate dielectric layer and spray-deposited as the active layer, respectively. The effects of PMMA concentrations and P3HT solution volume on performances of flexible OTFTs were systematically investigated. The results showed that the optimized flexible OTFT exhibited high field-effect mobility(9.51×10^(–3) cm^2/(V s) at a gate bias of –50 V) and excellent response characteristics,including high sensitivity(up to 0.169 ppm^(–1)), good repeatability and selectivity. The flexibility of the developed OTFT sensor was also investigated, and the results showed that the electrical and gas-sensing properties were affected by the bending cycles,thus further work should be done for improving the flexibility of the sensor. | 14 | Gas sensors for CO_2 detection based on RGO–PEI films at room temperature显示文摘In this paper,polyethyleneimine(PEI)and reduced graphene oxide(RGO)were selected as sensing materials for carbon dioxide detection.Two kinds of sensors with different sensitive film structures,i.e.,RGO–PEI composite film and RGO–PEI bi-layer film were fabricated by airbrushing the sensitive films on interdigitated electrodes.Response performances of both sensors at room temperature were investigated.Results showed that sensors with bi-layer film exhibited smaller baseline drift and more stable sensing characteristics than the counterparts with composite film.Furthermore,bi-layer film sensors with different quantity of PEI solution deposited were studied.Performances of long-time stability,repeatability,low concentration of detection for carbon dioxide,and measurements of response time and recovery time were investigated.It was found that appropriate weight ratio of RGO and PEI was critical for sensing response.In addition,the sensor with bi-layer film exhibited a better repeatability but had longer response time and recovery time than RGO single-layer sensor,and both of them could detect as low as20 parts per million carbon dioxide gas.Sensing responses of the prepared sensors to carbon dioxide under dry air or nitrogen were compared.The relevant sensing mechanisms were studied as well. | Yong Zhou Yadong Jiang Guangzhong Xie Mei Wu Huiling Tai | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,17: | 2 |

| 16 | Alleviating experimental pulmonary hypertension via co-delivering FoxO1 stimulus and apoptosis activator to hyperproliferating pulmonary arteries显示文摘Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is an insidious pulmonary vasculopathy with high mortality and morbidity and its underlying pathogenesis is still poorly delineated.The hyperproliferation and apoptosis resistance of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)contributes to pulmonary vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension,which is closely linked to the downregulation of forkhead box transcriptional factor O1(FoxO1)and apoptotic protein caspase 3(Cas-3).Here,PA-targeted co-delivery of a FoxO1 stimulus(paclitaxel,PTX)and Cas-3 was exploited to alleviate monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension.The co-delivery system is prepared by loading the active protein on paclitaxel-crystal nanoparticles,followed by a glucuronic acid coating to target the glucose transporter-1 on the PASMCs.The co-loaded system(170 nm)circulates in the blood over time,accumulates in the lung,effectively targets the PAs,and profoundly regresses the remodeling of pulmonary arteries and improves hemodynamics,leading to a decrease in pulmonary arterial pressure and Fulton's index.Our mechanistic studies suggest that the targeted co-delivery system alleviates experimental pulmonary hypertension primarily via the regression of PASMC proliferation by inhibiting cell cycle progression and promoting apoptosis.Taken together,this targeted co-delivery approach offers a promising avenue to target PAs and cure the intractable vasculopathy in pulmonary hypertension. | Bingbing Li Chao Teng Huiling Yu Xiaohong Jiang Xuyang Xing Qi Jiang Chenshi Lin Zongmin Zhao Ruifeng Zhang Wei He | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6: | 1 |
