1Highly Sensitive MoS_2–Indocyanine Green Hybrid for Photoacoustic Imaging of Orthotopic Brain Glioma at Deep Site显示文摘Photoacoustic technology in combination with molecular imaging is a highly effective method for accurately diagnosing brain glioma. For glioma detection at a deeper site, contrast agents with higher photoacoustic imaging sensitivity are needed. Herein, we report a MoS_2–ICG hybrid with indocyanine green(ICG) conjugated to the surface of MoS_2 nanosheets. The hybrid significantly enhanced photoacoustic imaging sensitivity compared to MoS_2 nanosheets. This conjugation results in remarkably high optical absorbance across a broad near-infrared spectrum, redshifting of the ICG absorption peak and photothermal/photoacoustic conversion efficiency enhancement of ICG. A tumor mass of 3.5 mm beneath the mouse scalp was clearly visualized by using MoS_2–ICG as a contrast agent for the in vivo photoacoustic imaging of orthotopic glioma, which is nearly twofold deeper than the tumors imaged in our previous report using MoS_2 nanosheet. 2Chemical characteristics of precipitation at Nanping Mangdang Mountain in eastern China during spring显示文摘To study the characteristics of precipitation in eastern China,an automatic sampler was used to collect rainwater samples from 19 precipitation events at Mangdang Mountain,Nanping City,Fujiang Province,in the spring of 2009.We used ion chromatography to analyze the ionic components and concentrations,and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) to analyze element compositions and contents.The results demonstrated remarkable acidic characteristics:in more than 80% of precipitation events the pH was less than 5.6,with an average of 4.81.Mass concentration results showed SO 4 2 was the main anionic component (36.2% of the total anion mass),while NH 4+ was the main cationic component (47.7% of the total cation mass) and main ion for acidity neutralization in the rainwater.Organic acid content accounted for 30.9% of total anion mass.The main trace metals were Ca,K,and Na.The SO 4 2/NO 3 ratio was 1.4,indicating that precipitation in this region was influenced by complex air pollution-the product of individual coal-burning combined with vehicle exhaust pollution.Correlation analysis of the chemical composition of the precipitation indicated that acidity in this region was determined by a combination of all acidic and neutralization ions rather than any single ion component.The results also showed that Na+ and Cl contributions were mainly by seawater;Mg 2+ by seawater and crustal materials;the NH 4+,K+,Ca 2+,NO 3 and SO 4 2 by anthropogenic sources;the trace metals were from the Earth's crust;and organic acids were potentially from combustion of biomass.Yanli Cheng Ying Liu Mingqun Huo Qian Sun Huixiang Wang Zhongming Chen Yuhua Bai 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,8:8
3Progresses in Sustainable Recycling Technology of Spent Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘The number of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is steadily increasing in order to meet the ever-growing demand for sustainable energy and a high quality of life for humankind.At the same time,the resulting large number of LIB waste certainly poses safety hazards if it is not properly disposed of and will seriously harm the environment due to its inherent toxicity due to the use of toxic substances.Moreover,the consumption of many scarce precious metal resources is behind the mass production of batteries.In the light of severe environmental,resources,safety and recycling problems,recycling spent LIBs have become an essential urgently needed action to achieve sustainable social development.This review therefore critically analyses the value and the need for recycling of spent LIBs from a variety of resources and the environment.A range of existing technologies for recycling and reusing spent LIBs,such as pretreatment,pyrometallurgy,hydrometallurgy,and direct recycled methods,is subsequently summarized exclusively.In addition,the benefits and problems of the methods described above are analyzed in detail.It also introduces recycling progress of other LIB components,such as anodes,separators,and electrolytes,as well as the high-value cathode.Finally,the prospects for recycling LIBs are addressed in four ways(government,users,battery manufacturers,and recyclers).This review should contribute to the development of the recycling of used LIBs,particularly in support of industrialization and recycling processes.Kaidi Du Edison Huixiang Ang Xinglong Wu Yichun Liu 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4:7
4Preparation and hydrogen gas sensitive characteristics of highly ordered titania nanotube arrays显示文摘In this paper, we report the growth and characteristics of titania nanotube arrays prepared by anodic oxidation and then annealed in an oxygen atmosphere at 500℃. The titania nanotube arrays presented high sensitivity to hydrogen gas. The crystalline phase of the samples was checked by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The differences in the nanotubes morphology attributed to the etched samples due to anodiza- tion potential, reaction time and the electrolyte concentration were analyzed by scanning electron mi- croscopy (SEM). 5长江口溶解有机物光漂白和光矿化表观量子产率显示文摘溶解有机物(DOM)经太阳光照射导致其吸光度(光漂白)和溶解有机碳(光矿化)损失,从而影响水体生态系统光学特性及碳循环。本文通过测定冬季长江口及其邻近海域DOM光降解表观量子产率(AQY),初步探讨了DOM光反应活性在河口及陆架海的变化特征。DOM光降解AQY由口内至口外逐渐递减,且有色溶解有机物(CDOM)光漂白速率是溶解有机碳(DOC)光矿化速率的10倍。Φble(CDOM光漂白表观量子产率)和Φmin(DOC光矿化平均量子产率)在最大浑浊带以东海域与盐度和SUVA254分别呈显著的线性负相关与正相关,表明DOM光反应活性在长江口外受物理混合影响为主,且陆源DOM光反应活性比海源高。此外,最大浑浊带下游DOM光降解AQY显著低于上游。DOM光降解速率随波长的变化呈现非高斯分布,且峰值出现在330nm,积分结果表明UVA是DOM光降解的主要贡献者。本研究结果将为完善我国东海碳通量模型提供帮助。孙欣 宋贵生 Xie Huixiang 2016海洋学报2016,38,4:6
6Fenton-like degradation of Methylene Blue using paper mill sludge-derived magnetically separable heterogeneous catalyst:Characterization and mechanism显示文摘For the paper industry, the disposal and management of the yielded sludge are a considerable challenge. In our work, the paper mill sludge-derived magnetically separable heterogeneous catalyst(PMS-Fe-380) was prepared easily through a facile synthesis method. The morphology and structure of PMS-Fe-380 were fully characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and Brunauer–Emmet–Teller analysis. The catalytic activity of PMS-Fe-380 was evaluated by degradation of Methylene Blue(MB). The reusability and stability of PMS-Fe-380 were evaluated in five repeated runs, which suggested that PMS-Fe-380 manifested excellent stability of catalytic activity. Moreover,leaching tests indicated that the leached iron is negligible(<0.5 mg/L). 8Preliminary studies on differential defense responses induced during plant communication显示文摘We compared the expression patterns of three representative genes in undamaged tomato and tobacco plants in response to exposure to either tomato or tobacco fed on by Helicoverpa armigera (cotton bollworm). When tomato and tobacco, two species of one family, were incubated in the chambers with the tomato plants damaged by the cotton bollworm, the expression of the PR1, BGL2, and PAL genes was up-regulated in leaves of both plants. However, the levels of gene expression were significantly higher in the tomato than that in the tobacco. In addition, the activities of enzymes, peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase, and lipoxygenase were found to be higher in the tomato than those in the tobacco. 9Influence of submerged entry nozzle clogging on the behavior of molten steel in continuously cast slab molds显示文摘The influence of submerged entry nozzle clogging on the behavior of molten steel in continuously cast slab molds was studied using commercial code CFX4.3. The results indicate that clogging at the top part of the nozzle port not only increases the velocity of molten steel, but also enhances the wall shear stress, F number and heat flux. This clogging has the greatest effect on the behavior of molten steel. However, clogging at the top 1/3 of the nozzle only increases the velocity of molten steel and has little influence. 10Effect of Al content on the reaction between Fe-10Mn-xAl(x=0.035wt%,0.5wt%,1wt%,and 2wt%)steel and CaO-SiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO slag显示文摘The effect of Al content(0.035 wt%,0.5 wt%,1 wt%,and 2 wt%)on the composition change of steel and slag as well as inclusion transformation of high manganese steel after it has equilibrated with Ca O-Si O_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-Mg O slag was studied using the method of slag/steel reaction.The experimental results showed that as the initial content of Al increased from 0.035 wt%to 2 wt%,Al gradually replaced Mn to react with Si O_(2)in slag to avoid the loss of Mn due to the reaction;this process caused both Al_(2)O_(3)in slag and Si in steel to increase while Si O_(2)and Mn O in slag to reduce.In addition,the type of inclusions also evolved as the initial Al content increased.The evolution route of inclusions was Mn O→Mn O-Al_(2)O_(3)-Mg O→Mg O→Mn O-Ca O-Al_(2)O_(3)-Mg O and Mn O-Ca O-Mg O.The shape of inclusions evolved from spherical to irregular,became faceted,and finally transformed to spherical.The average size of inclusions presented a trend that was increasing first and then decreasing.The transformation mechanism of inclusions was explored.As the initial content of Al increased,Mg and Ca were reduced from top slag into molten steel in sequence,which consequently caused the transformation of inclusions.Huixiang Yu Dexin Yang Jiaming Zhang Guangyuan Qiu Ni Zhang 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,2:4

12In situ synthesis and phase analysis of low density O'-sialon-based multiphase ceramics显示文摘In situ formed low density O'-sialon-based multiphase ceramics were prepared by liquid-phase sintering method at 1400°C with Si3N4, SiO2 and Al2O3 as raw materials.Crystalline phases were identified by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The quantitative phase analysis was finished by matrix-flushing method and the substitution parameter x value of O'-sialon was estimated.The effects of sintering additives on the phase composition of the material were studied.The results show that, when using Y2O3 alone, Al6Si2O13 phase can be formed in the material, but when using Y2O3 and MgO, MgAl2O4 phase can be preferentially formed and the Al6Si2O13 is not observed.The mechanical properties of the material were measured and the relationships between microstructure and mechanical properties were discussed.The sample with Y2O3 and MgO sintering additives, using fused quartz alone as SiO2 source, displays a combination of high bending strength(163 MPa) and good fracture toughness(3.11 MPa·m1/2).Bending strength and fracture toughness of the samples increase with the increase of the content and aspect ratio of elongated grains and decrease with the increase of the porosity.XU Xiongwen, LIANG Hui, LI Xiaolei, JI Huiming, LU Huixiang, and WAN Yizao Key Laboratory for Advanced Ceramics and Machining Technology(Ministry of Education), Tianjin University, Tianjin 300072, China 2010Rare Metals2010,29,2:3
13Strain in solidifying shell of continuous casting slabs显示文摘Two-dimension unsteady heat transfer model was applied to obtain the surface temperature and the shell thickness of continuous casting slabs during the process of solidification. On the basis of which, the mathematical model of strain at the interface of solid and liquid steel was set up. Through which, the strain in the solidifying shell under normal and abnormal operation conditions was gained. The results indicate that the strain is small under the normal operation conditions and the internal crack never happens.However, when the variation of the roll gap is above 2 mm, the strain caused by which is greater than that caused by bulging. Furthermore, the total strain exceeds the critical one and the internal crack is the result. 16Distribution and spectral characteristics of chromophoric dissolved organic matter in a coastal bay in northern China显示文摘The absorption spectra of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM),along with general physical,chemical and biological variables,were determined in the Bohai Bay,China,in the springs of 2011 and 2012. The absorption coefficient of CDOM at 350 nm(a350) in surface water ranged from 1.00 to 1.83 m-1(mean: 1.35 m-1) in May 2011 and from 0.78 to 1.92 m-1(mean:1.19 m-1) in April 2012. Little surface-bottom difference was observed due to strong vertical mixing. The a350 was weakly anti-correlated to salinity but positively correlated to chlorophyll a(Chl-a) concentration. A shoulder over 260–290 nm,suggestive of biogenic molecules,superimposed the overall pattern of exponentially decreasing CDOM absorption with wavelength. The wavelength distribution of the absorption spectral slope manifested a pronounced peak at ca. 300 nm characteristic of algal-derived CDOM. All a250/a365 ratios exceeded 6,corresponding to CDOM molecular weights(Mw) of less than 1 kDa. Spectroscopically,CDOM in the Bohai Bay differed substantively from that in the Haihe River,the bay's dominant source of land runoff; photobleaching of the riverine CDOM enlarged the difference.Results point to marine biological production being the principal source of CDOM in the Bohai Bay during the sampling seasons. 19夏季黄海不同水团溶解有机物分布特征显示文摘依据2017年8—9月对黄海海域溶解有机物(DOM)的调查,探讨了夏季黄海海水中溶解有机碳(DOC)和有色溶解有机物(CDOM)的空间分布特征。在表层海水中,受陆源影响较大的近岸海域CDOM含量相对较高,北黄海冷水团区域由于水产养殖的饵料引起DOC浓度升高,且该部分DOC以无色为主。DOC浓度随深度逐渐降低,而CDOM逐渐升高,该特征在冷水团区域更为显著,因此DOC和CDOM在冷水团区域的表底差异远大于浅水区的非冷水团区域。陆源输入和初级生产是引起表层DOC升高的主要原因,而光漂白则引起CDOM降低,同时光漂白还导致表层水体中CDOM分子量和芳香性低于底层。底层溶解氧饱和度在冷水团为80%~93%,均表现为弱不饱和状态。层化不仅阻碍了O2向底层水体输送,还抑制了DOC和CDOM的垂向混合,这是引起冷水团区域表底层DOC和CDOM差异较大的主要原因。王艺超 刘小艳 宋贵生 Xie Huixiang 2019海洋学报2019,41,12:2
