1Global spatio-temporally harmonised datasets for producing high-resolution gridded population distribution datasets显示文摘Multi-temporal,globally consistent,high-resolution human population datasets provide consistent and comparable population distributions in support of mapping sub-national heterogeneities in health,wealth,and resource access,and monitoring change in these over time.The production of more reliable and spatially detailed population datasets is increasingly necessary due to the importance of improving metrics at sub-national and multitemporal scales.This is in support of measurement and monitoring of UN Sustainable Development Goals and related agendas.In response to these agendas,a method has been developed to assemble and harmonise a unique,open access,archive of geospatial datasets.Datasets are provided as global,annual time series,where pertinent at the timescale of population analyses and where data is available,for use in the construction of population distribution layers.The archive includes sub-national census-based population estimates,matched to a geospatial layer denoting administrative unit boundaries,and a number of co-registered gridded geospatial factors that correlate strongly with population presence and density.Here,we describe these harmonised datasets and their limitations,along with the production workflow.Further,we demonstrate applications of the archive by producing multi-temporal gridded population outputs for Africa and using these to derive health and development metrics.The geospatial archive is available at https://doi.org/10.5258/SOTON/WP00650.Christopher T.Lloyd Heather Chamberlain David Kerr Greg Yetman Linda Pistolesi Forrest R.Stevens Andrea E.Gaughan Jeremiah J.Nieves Graeme Hornby Kytt MacManus Parmanand Sinha Maksym Bondarenko Alessandro Sorichetta Andrew J.Tatem 2019Big Earth Data2019,3,2:4

4Semileptonic bc to cc and bb to bc baryon decays and heavy quark spin symmetry显示文摘We study the semileptonic decays of the lowest-lying bc baryons to the lowest-lying cc baryons (Ξ (*) bc →Ξ (*) cc and Ω ( *) bc →Ω (*) cc ),in the limit m b,m c Λ QCD and close to the zero recoil point.The separate heavy quark spin symmetries make it possible to describe all these decays using a single form factor.We also show how these constraints can be used to test the validity of different quark model calculations.bb to bc baryon decays are also discussed.J.Nieves J.M.Flynn E.Hernández 2010Chinese Physics C2010,34,9:0
5Role of hyperfine mixing in b→c semileptonic decays of doubly-heavy baryons显示文摘We analyze the effects of hyperfine mixing in b → c semileptonic decays of doubly heavy baryons.We qualitatively confirm the results by W.Roberts and M.Pervin in Int.J.Mod.Phys.A,2009,24: 2401– 2413,finding that mixing has a great impact on those transitions.However,predictions without mixing differ by a factor of 2 and this discrepancy translates to the mixed case where large differences in decay widths are observed between the two calculations.C.Albertus E.Hernández J.Nieves 2010Chinese Physics C2010,34,9:0
