3Relationship between CT grouping and complications of liver cirrhosis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Imaging examination is important for hepatic cirrhosis. But the relationship between magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT) or ultrasound findings and pathological groups, degree, or reserve function of the cirrhotic liver is not clear. In this study, we investigated the relationship between the CT groupings of liver cirrhosis and its complications and clinical conditions. METHODS: The CT findings in 357 patients with liver cirrhosis were grouped. The complications were analyzed, included splenomegaly, varicose collateral veins, ascites, pleurorrhea, primary liver carcinoma, gallbladder stone, etc. Blood routine (BRt), and serum usea nitrogen (SUN), creatinine and uric acid were measured and hypersplenia and liver-kidney syndrome were estimated. RESULTS: Three hundred and fifty-seven patients with cirrhosis were divided into homogeneous group (87 patients, 24.4%), segmental group (41, 11.5%), and nodal group (229, 64.2%). The grade of spleen enlargement in the segmental and the nodal groups was significantly greater than that in the homogeneous group (P <0. 01 and P<0.001). The patients with varices were shown in a descending order in the segmental group (70.7%), the nodal group (17.0%) and the homogeneous group (2.3%), respectively. Significant difference was observed among the 3 groups ( P < 0.001). Ascites was seen in 182 patients (79.5%) of the nodal group, in 11 patients (26.8%) of the segmental group and in 9 patients ( 10.3%) of the homogeneous group (P<0.001). Sixty-eight patients (29.7%) in the nodal group had primary liver carcinoma and 1 (2.4%) in the segmental group and 5 (5.8%) in the homogeneous group (P<0.001). The number of patients with decreased concentration of hematoglobin in the nodal group was more than that in the homogeneous group ( P < 0. 001). The mean values of hematoglobin and platelet in the nodal group and the segmental group were significantly lower than those in the homogeneous group ( P < 0. 05 ). The number of patients with increased concentration of SUN in the nodal group and the segmental group was more than that in the homogeneous group (P<0.005). The concentration of SUN in the nodal group was significantly higher than that in the homogeneous group (P <0.002). CONCLUSION: There is a close relationship between the grouping of liver cirrhosis by CT findings and complications caused by the cirrhosis. 4Effect of boehmite sol on the crystallization behavior and densification of mullite formed from a sol-gel precursor显示文摘Hybrid mullite sol was synthesized from an aqueous solution of aluminum nitrate (AN), aluminum isopropoxide (AIP) and tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS), doped with boehmite sol with different ratios. Pressureless sintering of the xerogel was carried out at different temperatures in the presence of boehmite doping. The xerogel and sintered powder were characterized by FTIR, TG-DSC, XRD, SEM and bulk density. The addition of boehmite caused the formation of metaphase spinel (6Al2O3·SiO2) crystal before the appearance of mullite phase, which could lead to the formation of amorphous phase and suppress the premature formation of mullite. Both of these effects improve the densification of mullite. 5Different Effects of Fly Ash and Slag on Anti-Rebar Corrosion Ability of Concrete with Chloride Ion显示文摘In this paper,we have studied the anti-rebar corrosion ability of high-strength concrete(HSC),which were made by one or two mixed fly ash and slag.The different effects of fly ash and slag on concrete anti-rebar corrosion ability were discussed in chloride ion-contaminated condition.The results indicate that the effects of slag on concrete anti-chloride ion penetration ability are more excellent than that of fly ash at the same content.When the content of fly ash is 10%,the corrosion-inhibition action is not obvious;when the content is higher than 25%,this effect is remarkable.Corrosion-inhibition action of slag is better than that of fly ash.Slag is not like fly ash that has obvious effect on anode curves Tafer slope,so its contribution to restraining rebar in concrete corrosion is the result of high concrete anti-chloride ion penetration ability and binding chloride ion.Their 'superimposition effect' can be realized only at reasonable content and proportion condition.DING Qingjun GENG Jian HU Shuguang SUN Jiaying SUN Bingnan 2009Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2009,14,4:3

7Constitutive androstane receptor induced-hepatomegaly and liver regeneration is partially via yes-associated protein activation显示文摘The constitutive androstane receptor(CAR, NR3 I1) belongs to nuclear receptor superfamily.It was reported that CAR agonist TCPOBOP induces hepatomegaly but the underlying mechanism remains largely unknown. Yes-associated protein(YAP) is a potent regulator of organ size. The aim of this study is to explore the role of YAP in CAR activation-induced hepatomegaly and liver regeneration.TCPOBOP-induced CAR activation on hepatomegaly and liver regeneration was evaluated in wildtype(WT) mice, liver-specific YAP-deficient mice, and partial hepatectomy(PHx) mice. The results demonstrate that TCPOBOP can increase the liver-to-body weight ratio in wild-type mice and PHx mice.Hepatocytes enlargement around central vein(CV) area was observed, meanwhile hepatocytesproliferation was promoted as evidenced by the increased number of KI67+cells around portal vein(PV)area. The protein levels of YAP and its downstream targets were upregulated in TCPOBOP-treated mice and YAP translocation can be induced by CAR activation. Co-immunoprecipitation results suggested a potential proteineprotein interaction of CAR and YAP. However, CAR activation-induced hepatomegaly can still be observed in liver-specific YAP-deficient(Yape/e) mice. 8Carbonated Big Mantle Wedge Extending to the NE Edge of the Stagnant Pacific Slab:Constraints from Late Mesozoic-Cenozoic Basalts from Far Eastern Russia显示文摘It has been suggested that the carbonated mantle reflected by Mg-Zn isotopic anomalies of Cenozoic intraplate basalts from East Asia coincides with the stagnant West Pacific slab in the mantle transition zone.However,the northern boundary of such carbonated domain beneath East Asia is uncertain.Late Mesozoic-Cenozoic intraplate basalts are widespread in far eastern Russia and thus provide an opportunity to examine this issue.Here we report major-trace element contents and Sr-NdMg-Zn isotopic compositions for 9 Late Mesozoic-Cenozoic basaltic samples from the Khanka Block and Sikhote-Alin accretionary complex.They are characterized by large variations in SiO_(2)contents(41 wt.%to 50 wt.%)and CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)(0.50 to 0.97),enrichments of large-ion lithophile elements(LILE),positive Nb-Ta anomalies and strongly negative K,Pb,Zr,Hf,Ti,Y anomalies in primitive mantle-normalized trace element spider diagram.Furthermore,the rocks show good correlations of Ti/Ti^(*)with Hf/Hf^(*),La/Yb,Fe/Mn and trace element contents(e.g.,Nb).In addition,they have lighter Mg and heavier Zn isotope compositions than the BSE estimates,coupled with depleted Sr-Nd isotope compositions.These elemental and isotopic characteristics cannot be explained by alteration,magma differentiation or diffusion,but are consistent with the partial melting of carbonated peridotite.By and large,the Late Mesozoic-Cenozoic basalts from far eastern Russia bear very similar geochemical characteristics as those Na-series Cenozoic basalts from eastern China.The extended region of Mg-Zn isotopic anomalies is roughly coincident with the stagnant West Pacific slab beneath East Asia,and all of these alkali basalts can be generated from mantle sources hybridized by recycled Mg-carbonates from the Pacific slab stagnant in the mantle transition zone.We infer that(1)the carbonated big mantle wedge extends to the NE edge of the West Pacific slab and may have also appeared in the Late Mesozoic due to the effect of the Paleo-Pacific slab beneath this region,and(2)decarbonation of stagnant slabs in the mantle transition zone is a key mechanism for carbon outgassing from deep mantle to surface via intraplate alkali melts.Ronghua Cai Shan Xu Dmitri AIonov Jian Huang Sheng-Ao Liu Shuguang Li Jingao Liu 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,1:2

18Enhanced adaptability of Sesbania rostrata to Pb/Zn tailings via stem nodulation显示文摘Sesbania rostrata is wellknown for its stem nodulation, but the roles of stem nodulation in root nodulation and adaptation of S. rostrata to Pb/Zn-enriched tailings environment has been poorly understood. We investigated the effects of inoculating (with stem nodule treatment) and non-inoculating (without stem nodule treatment) Azorhizobium caulinodans on the growth, root nodulation, and N fixation of S. rostrata grown on three different types of soil substrata: Pb/Zn tailings, garden soil amended tailings, and garden soil. The results showed that plant height, stem basal diameter, biomass, chlorophyll content, nitrogen content and N-accumulation per plant were 2.3%–4.9%, 2.2%–7.7%, 27.8%–72.2%, 17.1%–23.5%, 12.3%–34.2%, and 43.1%–131.2%, respectively, higher in treatments with stem nodule than those without stem nodule for the same soil substrate. With respect to soil substrata, all measurements had consistently higher values in tailings than in amended tailings and garden soil, indicating that the poorer the soil condition, the greater the contribution of stem nodule. In contrast, the number and fresh weight of root nodules on plants without stem nodule were 6.9–11.6 times and 5.8–29.0 times higher than those with stem nodule, respectively, especially with respect to the plants grew on Pb/Zn tailings. In general, stem nodulation favored plant growth and nitrogen fixation of S. rostrata, but suppressed root nodulation. 20Superimposed characteristics and genetic mechanism of strike-slip faults in the Bohai Sea, China显示文摘Based on the 3 D seismic structure interpretation of Bohai Sea, combined with physical modeling of structure, structural style analysis and apatite fission track simulation, the structural characteristics and genetic mechanism of the Cenozoic strike-slip faults in Bohai Sea were investigated. The results show that Tanlu strike-slip fault experienced three stages of strike-slip activities in the Cenozoic,and the transition from left-lateral strike to right-lateral strike-slip was completed at the end of the fourth member of the Shahejie Formation. The strike-slip faults in the Bohai Sea have the characteristics of multi-stage and multi-strength stress superposition. According to the superimposed forms of different strengths, different properties and different ratios, they can be divided into three major genetic types,extension and strike-slip superimposition, extension and extrusion superimposition, extrusion and strike-slip superimposition, and fifteen typical structure patterns. Affected by multiple changes in the direction and rate of subduction of the Cenozoic Pacific plate, the difference between the Cenozoic extension and the strike-slip in the Bohai Sea area leads to the diversity of the fault system and the zoning of the depression structure. According to superimposition features of faults, the Bohai Sea area can be divided into the Liaoxi S-type weak strike-slip zone, Liaodong braided strong strike-slip zone, Boxi conjugated medium strike-slip zone, Bodong brush structure medium strike-slip zone and Bonan parallel strong strike-slip zone.
