| 1 | Real-time fault detection method based on belief rule base for aircraft navigation system显示文摘Real-time and accurate fault detection is essential to enhance the aircraft navigation system's reliability and safety. The existent detection methods based on analytical model draws back at simultaneously detecting gradual and sudden faults. On account of this reason, we propose an online detection solution based on non-analytical model. In this article, the navigation system fault detection model is established based on belief rule base (BRB), where the system measuring residual and its changing rate are used as the inputs of BRB model and the fault detection function as the output. To overcome the drawbacks of current parameter optimization algorithms for BRB and achieve online update, a parameter recursive estimation algorithm is presented for online BRB detection model based on expectation maximization (EM) algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed method is verified by navigation experiment. Experimental results show that the proposed method is able to effectively realize online parameter evaluation in navigation system fault detection model. The output of the detection model can track the fault state very well, and the faults can be diagnosed in real time and accurately. | 2 | Evaluating the accuracy of Chinese pasture data in global historical land use datasets显示文摘Global historical land use datasets are widely used in global environmental change studies; however, uncertainties in the included pasture data have not been evaluated. In this study, using trend, relative difference ratio(RDR), and spatial comparisons, we evaluated the accuracy of China pasture data in the HYDE(versions 3.1 and 3.2), SAGE, and PJ datasets using historical document-based reconstructions, including the land use datasets for China covering 1935–1997(hereafter Ge-dataset)and Northeast China covering the 1700 s–2000(hereafter Ye-dataset), and the satellite-based China's Land-Use/cover Datasets(CLUDs) for 1980–2015. Four important results were obtained.(1) China pasture area in the HYDE, SAGE, and PJ datasets and grassland area in the Ge-dataset, Ye-dataset, and CLUDs show both disparate trends and large differences in absolute values.(2)Spatially, 50.9%, 52.8%, and 63.0% pasture/grassland grids in 2000 had RDRs greater than 60% between HYDE3.1, HYDE3.2,and SAGE datasets, and CLUDs, respectively. The percentage of grids with RDRs less than 20% were 24.9%, 26.7%, and 16.0%,respectively.(3) Based on HYDE3.2, the spatial distribution of pasture in Northeast China over the last 300 year has expanded,which is in contrast to the results from the Ye-dataset, which shows the spatial distribution of grassland shrinking because of human reclamation activities.(4) The large contrasts between the global datasets and Chinese native datasets are due to differences in pasture/grassland definitions, land use practices, and spatial reconstruction methods. | Fanneng HE Shicheng LI Fan YANG Meijiao LI | 2018 | Science China Earth Sciences2018,61,11: | 7 |
| 3 | Mulching mode and planting density affect canopy interception loss of rainfall and water use efficiency of dryland maize on the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘High and efficient use of limited rainwater resources is of crucial importance for the crop production in arid and semi-arid areas. To investigate the effects of different soil and crop management practices(i.e., mulching mode treatments: flat cultivation with non-mulching, flat cultivation with straw mulching, plastic-covered ridge with bare furrow and plastic-covered ridge with straw-covered furrow; and planting density treatments: low planting density of 45,000 plants/hm^2, medium planting density of 67,500 plants/hm^2 and high planting density of 90,000 plants/hm^2) on rainfall partitioning by dryland maize canopy, especially the resulted net rainfall input beneath the maize canopy, we measured the gross rainfall, throughfall and stemflow at different growth stages of dryland maize in 2015 and 2016 on the Loess Plateau of China. The canopy interception loss was estimated by the water balance method. Soil water storage, leaf area index, grain yield(as well as it components) and water use efficiency of dryland maize were measured or calculated. Results showed that the cumulative throughfall, cumulative stemflow and cumulative canopy interception loss during the whole growing season accounted for 42.3%–77.5%, 15.1%–36.3% and 7.4%–21.4% of the total gross rainfall under different treatments, respectively. Soil mulching could promote the growth and development of dryland maize and enhance the capability of stemflow production and canopy interception loss, thereby increasing the relative stemflow and relative canopy interception loss and reducing the relative throughfall. The relative stemflow and relative canopy interception loss generally increased with increasing planting density, while the relative throughfall decreased with increasing planting density. During the two experimental years, mulching mode had no significant influence on net rainfall due to the compensation between throughfall and stemflow, whereas planting density significantly affected net rainfall. The highest grain yield and water use efficiency of dryland maize were obtained under the combination of medium planting density of 67,500 plants/hm^2 and mulching mode of plastic-covered ridge with straw-covered furrow. Soil mulching can reduce soil evaporation and retain more soil water for dryland maize without reducing the net rainfall input beneath the maize canopy, which may alleviate the contradiction between high soil water consumption and insufficient rainfall input of the soil. | 4 | The pain-related behavior changes correlate with the bone damage in a rat model of rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Objective: In view of the extensive bone damage in rheumatoid arthritis, we used a commonly utilized animal model to detect behavioral changes in pain-related and the bone damage during the early disease, and to explore the correlation between bone damage and pain-related behavioral changes. Methods: Arthritis were induced in Sprague-Dawley (SD) male rats by injecting complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) into the tails. Pain-related behavior changes were studied using the Hargreaves, VonFrey, and acetone tests on the 0, 7, 14, day and 28 day after CFA injection. The rats were sacrificed according the same schedule. The bone damage of the right proximal tibia was studied by microCT scan and bone histological slices. Results: Animals developed soft tissue inflammation and polyarthritis on 7 days after CFA injection, and arthritic score proved obvious arthritis were established within the study period. Mechanical hyperalgesia and cold allodynia were present in the affected hind paw from the 7 day through the 28 day, but the heat hyperalgesia and the mechanical allodynia lasted a short time after CFA injection. Trabecular bone number (Tb.N), Tissue Mineral Content (TMC) and Bone Volume to Tissue Volume (BV/TV) in the proximal tibia by microCT scan were also reduced after induction, especial 14 days after CFA injection. The bone histological slices showed the trabecular bone and proteoglycan diminished, the bone damage severity scores became more severely on the 7 day after CFA injection. Using analysis of covariance, these changes had statistical significance compared with baseline. By linear regression analysis demonstrated mechanical hyperalgesia and cold allodynia correlated well with arthritic score, bone damage parameters and bone damage severity scores. Conclusion: Adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA) were observed after CFA injection and lasted within the later experimental period. Pain-related behavioral changes were observed in the early time of AA. Bone damage was also occurred with arthritis development. | 5 | Constitutive androstane receptor induced-hepatomegaly and liver regeneration is partially via yes-associated protein activation显示文摘The constitutive androstane receptor(CAR, NR3 I1) belongs to nuclear receptor superfamily.It was reported that CAR agonist TCPOBOP induces hepatomegaly but the underlying mechanism remains largely unknown. Yes-associated protein(YAP) is a potent regulator of organ size. The aim of this study is to explore the role of YAP in CAR activation-induced hepatomegaly and liver regeneration.TCPOBOP-induced CAR activation on hepatomegaly and liver regeneration was evaluated in wildtype(WT) mice, liver-specific YAP-deficient mice, and partial hepatectomy(PHx) mice. The results demonstrate that TCPOBOP can increase the liver-to-body weight ratio in wild-type mice and PHx mice.Hepatocytes enlargement around central vein(CV) area was observed, meanwhile hepatocytesproliferation was promoted as evidenced by the increased number of KI67+cells around portal vein(PV)area. The protein levels of YAP and its downstream targets were upregulated in TCPOBOP-treated mice and YAP translocation can be induced by CAR activation. Co-immunoprecipitation results suggested a potential proteineprotein interaction of CAR and YAP. However, CAR activation-induced hepatomegaly can still be observed in liver-specific YAP-deficient(Yape/e) mice. | 8 | Evaluating the reliability of global historical land use scenarios for forest data in China显示文摘Global historical land use scenarios are widely used to simulate the climatic and ecological effects of changes in land cover;however,reliability evaluation of these scenarios for data on China’s forests is missing.By using a historical document-derived Chinese forest dataset(CHFD)for the years 1700–2000,we evaluated the reliability of data on forests in China over three global scenarios-SAGE(Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment),PJ(Pongratz Julia),and KK10(Kaplan and Krumhardt 2010)-through trend-related,quantitative,and spatial comparisons.The results show the following:(1)Although the area occupied by forests in China in the SAGE,PJ,KK10,and CHFD datasets decreased over the past 300 years,there were large differences between global scenarios and CHFD.The area occupied by forests in China in the SAGE scenario for 1700–1990 was 20%–40%more than that according to CHFD,and that occupied by forests in the KK10 from 1700 to 1850 was 32%–46%greater than that in CHFD.The difference between the PJ and CHFD was lower than 20%for most years.(2)Large differences were detected at the provincial and grid cell scales,where the PJ scenario was closer to CHFD in terms of total forested area.Provinces with large differences in terms of trend and quantity were 84%and 92%of all provinces,respectively.Grid cells with relative differences greater than 70%accounted for 60%–80%of all grids.(3)These global historical land use scenarios do not accurately reveal the spatiotemporal pattern of Chinese forests due to differences in the data sources,methods of reconstruction,and spatial scales. | YANG Fan HE Fanneng LI Meijiao LI Shicheng | 2020 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,7: | 1 |

Schischk as explants, a lot of plantleles were obtained and the corresponding plant regeneration-system was established. | 12 | Spatially explicit reconstruction of cropland cover for China over the past millennium显示文摘Reconstructing historical land use and land cover change using explicit temporal,quantitative,and spatial information is not only the prerequisite for simulating long-term climate change and ecological effects but is also a scientific basis for comprehensively understanding the process and mechanism of anthropogenic land use alterations.Considering changes in historical borders and administrative divisions,a provincial cropland area dataset for China over the past millennium was created on the basis of existing estimations since the Song Dynasty.Land suitability for cultivation was then assessed by incorporating altitude,slope,soil texture,and the maximum potential productivity of climate.Subsequently,a gridding allocation model for cropland was constructed,and the provincial cropland area for 24 years over the past millennium was allocated into grids with a resolution of 10 km.The cropland area in China increased from 3.71×10^(7)ha in AD 1000 to 12.92×10^(7)ha in AD 1999,with a peak of 13.50×10^(7)ha in AD 1980.The total cropland area in China showed fluctuating increasing trends that can be divided into three phases:fluctuation without notable net change for AD 1000–1290,slow increase for AD 1290–1661,and rapid increase for AD 1661–1999.Spatially,cropland intensified in the middle-lower reaches of the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers and expanded to mountainous and frontier areas over the last millennium.Specifically,over the entire period,the fractional cropland areas(FCAs)in the middle-lower reaches of the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers increased by 1.4 and 0.8 times,respectively.Since the mid-Qing Dynasty,large-scale land reclamation expanded to areas of low reclamation in southwest and northeast China.The FCAs for southwest and northeast China increased from 2.13%and 0.55%in AD 1661 to 18.00%and 26.61%in AD 1999,respectively.For AD 1661–1999,the proportion of cropland increased by 55%in the hills and low mountains and 27%in the middle and high mountains.The comparison with remote sensing cropland data shows that the grid cells with absolute differences of 0–10%accounted for 70.35%of all grid cells,while grids with differences exceeding 60%accounted for only 0.83%.This finding indicates that the reconstruction method is feasible,and the reconstruction results objectively reveal the historical spatiotemporal changes in cropland. | Fanneng HE Fan YANG Caishan ZHAO Shicheng LI Meijiao LI | 2023 | Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1: | 0 |
