| 2 | Theoretical prediction,synthesis,and crystal structure determination of new MAX phase compound V2SnC显示文摘Guided by the theoretical prediction,a new MAX phase V2SnC was synthesized experimentally for the first time by reaction of V,Sn,and C mixtures at 1000°C.The chemical composition and crystal structure of this new compound were identified by the cross-check combination of first-principles calculations,X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and high resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy(HR-STEM).The stacking sequence of V2C and Sn layers results in a crystal structure of space group P63/mmc.The a-and c-lattice parameters,which were determined by the Rietveld analysis of powder XRD pattern,are 0.2981(0)nm and 1.3470(6)nm,respectively.The atomic positions are V at 4f(1/3,2/3,0.0776(5)),Sn at 2d(2/3,1/3,1/4),and C at 2a(0,0,0).A new set of XRD data of V2SnC was also obtained.Theoretical calculations suggest that this new compound is stable with negative formation energy and formation enthalpy,satisfied Born-Huang criteria of mechanical stability,and positive phonon branches over the Brillouin zone.It also has low shear deformation resistance c44(second-order elastic constant,cij)and shear modulus(G),positive Cauchy pressure,and low Pugh’s ratio(G/B=0.500<0.571),which is regarded as a quasi-ductile MAX phase.The mechanism underpinning the quasi-ductility is associated with the presence of a metallic bond. | Qiang Xu Yanchun Zhou Haiming Zhang Anna Jiang Quanzheng Tao Jun Lu Johanna Rosén Yunhui Niu Salvatore Grasso Chunfeng Hu | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020，9，4： | 8 |

| 4 | Impact of chronic disease self-management programs on type 2 diabetes management in primary care显示文摘AIM: To assess the effectiveness of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program(CDSMP) on glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) and selected self-reported measures.METHODS: We compared patients who received a diabetes self-care behavioral intervention, the CDSMP developed at the Stanford University, with controls whoreceived usual care on their HbA1c and selected self-reported measures, including diabetes self-care activities, health-related quality of life(HRQOL), pain and fatigue. The subjects were a subset of participants enrolled in a randomized controlled trial that took place at seven regional clinics of a university-affiliated integrated healthcare system of a multi-specialty group practice between January 2009 and June 2011. The primary outcome was change in HbA1c from randomization to 12 mo. Data were analyzed using multilevel statistical models and linear mixed models to provide unbiased estimates of intervention effects.RESULTS: Demographic and baseline clinical characteristics were generally comparable between the two groups. The average baseline HbA1c values in the CDSMP and control groups were 9.4% and 9.2%, respectively. Significant reductions in HbA1c were seen at 12 mo for the two groups, with adjusted changes around 0.6%(P < 0.0001), but the reductions did not differ significantly between the two groups(P = 0.885). Few significant differences were observed in participants' diabetes self-care activities. No significant differences were observed in the participants' HRQOL, pain, or fatigue measures.CONCLUSION: The CDSMP intervention may not lower HbA1c any better than good routine care in an integrated healthcare system. | 10 | Detection of DC series arc in more electric aircraft power system based on optical spectrometry显示文摘Series arcing faults have been recognised as a hazardous phenomenon in the power system of more electric aircraft(MEA),especially with the increasing voltage level and power supply.Instead of the electrical method,the optical method can be used as an approach to detect arc fault with the advantages of fast response and immunity to electromagnetic interference.It is the basis of optical arc detection to determine the distribution spectrum range of direct current(DC)arc fault.Aiming at series arc optical detection in the MEA DC system,a DC series arc test platform was established to measure the series arc spectrum.The spectrum was disassembled though empirical mode decomposition to extract characteristic wavelengths of arc light and denoised by means of wavelet decomposition and reconstruction(wavelet transformation)to reduce equipment noise.To resolve the baseline drift,the baseline of the arc spectrum measured was calculated and corrected based on Savitzky−Golay.The experimental results indicate that there are several series arc characteristic spectra of the MEA DC system,including 309.3 and 324.5 nm in the ultraviolet range.Moreover,the arc spectrum with different metals,copper and aluminium,were contrasted,indicating the arc spectral behaviour is related to the melting/boiling point and chemical properties of the anode material.The measurement of the series arc spectrum makes it more effective to apply optical detection in the MEA discharging faults diagnosis. | Jun Jiang Mingxin Zhao Zhe Wen Chaohai Zhang Ricardo Albarracín | 2020 | High Voltage2020，5，1： | 3 |

The negative influence of a solid product layer constituted of a silicon-rich phase and chromium-rich sulfate was eliminated by crushing the chromite and by selecting proper leaching conditions. The dimensionless change in specific surface area and the conversion rate of the chromite were observed to exhibit a proportional relationship. A modified shrinking particle model was developed to account for the change in reactive surface area, and the model was fitted to experimental data. The resulting model was observed to describe experimental findings very well.
