| 1 | Bulk growth and separation of single-walled carbon nanotubes from rhenium catalyst显示文摘Bulk synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)using solid catalyst has been challenging,despite of recent breakthrough in the chirality-specific growth on the flat substrate surface.In this work,we propose a porous magnesia support rhenium catalyst for bulk synthesis of SWNTs.It is found that the well-dispersed catalyst with a high melting point and the optimal chemical vapor deposition reaction conditions account for the growth of SWNTs.Detailed characterizations reveal the produced SWNTs are dominant in(n,n−1)and(n,n−2)species.Furthermore,by using a multicolumn chromatography post-growth separation method,SWNTs with three defined diameter ranges were obtained.This work guides the design of porous oxide supported catalyst for bulk synthesis and diameter-dependent sorting of SWNTs,which will ultimately help harness the extraordinary properties of SWNTs. | Chen Ma Yumin Liu Lili Zhang Liu Qian Yiming Zhao Ying Tian Qianru Wu Dong Li Nan Zhao Xueting Zhang Liantao Xin Huaping Liu Pengxiang Hou Chang Liu Maoshuai He Jin Zhang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 2 |

| 3 | The Effect of siRNA-VEGF on the Growth of REC in Retina Pigment Epithelial Cell and Retinal Endothelial Cell Co-culture System显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the effect of small interfering RNA (siRNA)targeting VEGF of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells on the growth activity of human retinal vascular endothelial cells (RECs) under a co-culture system.Methods:By applying the vector.(pGPU6)-based siRNA plasmid gene silence system,we specifically silenced VEGF expression of RPE cells (ARPE-19) through plasmid (pG-PU6-VEGFA-siRNA)transfection.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was applied for selecting the most efficient siRNA segment among three pGPU6-VEGF-siRNA groups (siRNA-1,siRNA-2 and siRNA-3).Treated RPE cells were co-cultured with RECs in a co-culture system made up of a 24-well culture plate and transwell inserts assembled inside During 7-day culture period,the growth ca-pacity of RECs were observed and tested in the form of cell counting assay.Three groups were established in this study:RPE cells transfected with pGPU6-VEGF-siRNA and co-cultured with RECs (group A),RPE cells transfected with siR-NA null vector and co-cultured with RECs (group B),and RECs cultured alone (group C).Results:After transfection,VEGF expression levels of RPE cells in three pGPU6-VEGF-siRNA groups (siRNA-1,siR-NA-2 and siRNA-3)evaluated by RT-PCR were 2.56 ±0.45,1.17 ±0.38 and 4.39 ±0.51,respectively (n =10).siRNA-2 was selected as the foremost segment for transfection (P < 0.05,SNK-q test).During the 7-day co-culture period,the influence upon the growth of RECs was observed.Growth curve of RECs under co-culture showed a lower growth rate in group A than in group B (P <0.05,dunnett's test),but no significant difference between group A and group C was noted (P>0.05,dunnett's test).RECs in group A proliferated muchfaster during the first four days post-transfection.Conclusion:Delivery of siRNA targeting VEGF plays an efficient role in down-regulating VEGF expression in RPE cells,therefore modulating the growth activity of RECs under a co-culture system in vitro.The application of this technique may provide novel evidence for the prevention and treatment of retinal neovascularization diseases. | Jin Ma Zhaomeng Shen Qianru Zhang Tiepei Zhu Ke Yao | 2011 | Eye Science2011,26,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Characteristics of 240 randomized controlled trials for adjusting constitution in preventive treatment of disease:A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Background:A growing number of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)have explored the significance of adjusting constitution for preventive treatment of disease in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).In this study,we sought to comprehensively analyze the characteristics of these RCTs.Methods:All RCTs related to constitutional adjustment and preventive treatment of disease were included in the study.Literature was screened searching seven databases,including Pubmed,Web of Science,Embase,SinoMed,CNKI,Chongqing VIP,and Wangfang Database,from inception to December 2018.Data pertaining to bibliometrics,participants,and interventions were extracted and analyzed.Results:Two hundred and forty papers were published between 2007 and 2018,involving 240 RCTs with 55977 total participants.Sample size in these RCTs ranged from 30 to 7800.Among them,59 RCTs addressed disease prevention prior to onset involving 11 healthy states of participants,mainly for general health or sub-health population(40.68%)using health care and non-drug therapy.In control the development of existing disease(n Z 174),59 diseases were involved.Based on the number of RCTs and sample sizes,diseases including type 2 diabetes mellitus,primary hypertension,nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,and hyperlipoproteinemia accounted for 51.15%of the total patients studied.Drug therapy as an intervention was frequently used.In preventing recurrence after recovery(n Z 7),over 4 kinds of health status in participants were involved.Drug therapy combined with health care was mostly used.Most RCTs reported positive outcomes,with only one reporting negative findings(1/240).Conclusion:The number of RCTs of constitutional adjustment on preventive treatment of disease has gradually increased since 2012.Participants and intervention measures from the above-mentioned types of RCTs exhibit their own characteristics.Future systematic reviews or meta-analyses on constitutional adjustment for preventive treatment of disease are warranted. | Wenjun Yu Shenglou Ni Qianru Li Mingyue Ma Ya’nan Peng Weidong Yu Hua Jin Pengting Zhang Qi Wang | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2019,6,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Do exercise therapies restore the deficits of joint position sense in patients with chronic ankle instability? A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘To determine whether existing exercise therapies can restore the joint position sense(JPS)deficits of patients with chronic ankle instability(CAI)when compared with controlled non-training patients.Seven databases were searched using ankle,injury,proprioception,and exercise-therapy-related terms.Peer-reviewed human studies in English that used the absolute errors score of joint position reproduction(JPR)test to compare the JPS of injured ankles in CAI patients before and after exercise therapy and non-training controls were included and analyzed.Demographic information,sample size,description of exercise therapies,methodological details of the JPR test,and absolute error scores were extracted by two researchers independently.Meta-analysis of the differences in JPS changes(i.e.,absolute errors after treatment minus the baseline)between the exercise therapies and non-training controls was performed with the weighted mean difference(WMD)and 95%confidence interval(CI).Seven studies were finally included.Meta-analyses revealed significantly higher improvements in passive JPS during inversion with,WMD?1.54and eversion,of,WMD?1.80,after exercise therapies when compared with non-training controls.However,no significant changes in the impaired side active JPS were observed with regard to inversion and eversion.Existing exercise therapies may have a positive effect on passive JPS during inversion and eversion,but do not restore the active JPS deficits of injured ankles in patients with CAI when compared with non-training controls.Updated exercise components with a longer duration that focus on active JPS with longer duration are needed to supplement the existing content of exercise therapies. | Xiao'ao Xue Weichu Tao Xiaoyun Xu Zhengbiao Jin Qianru Li Yiran Wang Xicheng Gu Ru Wang Yinghui Hua | 2023 | Sports Medicine and Health Science2023,5,1: | 0 |
