Global patterns of breast cancer incidence and mortality:A population-based cancer registry data analysis from 2000 to 2020显示文摘Background:Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and leading cause of cancer death among women worldwide but has patterns and trends which vary in different countries. This study aimed to evaluate the global patterns of breast cancer incidence and mortality and analyze its temporal trends for breast cancer prevention and control. Methods:Breast cancer incidence and mortality data in 2020 were obtained from the GLOBOCAN online database.Continued data from the Cancer Incidence in Five Continents Time Trends, the International Agency for Research on cancer mortality and China National Central Cancer Registry were used to analyze the time trends from 2000 to 2015 through Joinpoint regression, and annual average percent changes of breast cancer incidence and mortality were calculated.Association between Human Development Index and breast cancer incidence and mortality were estimated by linear regression. Results:There were approximately 2.3 million new breast cancer cases and 685,000 breast cancer deaths worldwide in 2020.Its incidence and mortality varied among countries, with the age-standardized incidence ranging from the highest of 112.3 per 100,000 population in Belgium to the lowest of 35.8 per 100,000 population in Iran, and the age-standardized mortality from the highest of 41.0 per 100,000 population in Fiji to the lowest of 6.4 per 100,000 population in South Korea. The peak age of breast cancer in some Asian and African countries were over 10 years earlier than in European or American countries. As for the trends of breast cancer, the age-standardized incidence rates significantly increased in China and South Korea but decreased in the United States of America(USA)during 2000-2012.Meanwhile,the age-standardized mortality rates significantly increased in China and South Korea but decreased in the United Kingdom, the USA,and Australia during 2000 and 2015.Conclusions:The global burden of breast cancer is rising fast and varies greatly among countries. The incidence and mortality rates of breast cancer increased rapidly in China and South Korea but decreased in the USA.Increased health awareness, effective prevention strategies, and improved access to medical treatment are extremely important to curb the snowballing breast cancer burden, especially in the most affected countries. | Shaoyuan Lei Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Shaoming Wang Ru Chen Kexin Sun Hongmei Zeng Jiachen Zhou Wenqiang Wei | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,11: | 55
High porosity and low thermal conductivity high entropy(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2C显示文摘Porous ultra-high temperature ceramics(UHTCs)are promising for ultrahigh-temperature thermal insulation applications. However, the main limitations for their applications are the high thermal conductivity and densification of porous structure at high temperatures. In order to overcome these obstacles, herein, porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))C was prepared by a simple method combing in-situ reaction and partial sintering.Porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))C possesses homogeneous microstructure with grain size in the range of 100–500 nm and pore size in the range of 0.2–1μm,which exhibits high porosity of 80.99%,high compressive strength of 3.45 MPa,low room temperature thermal conductivity of 0.39 W·m^-1K^-1,low thermal diffusivity of 0.74 mm^2·s^-1and good high temperature stability. The combination of these properties renders porous high entropy(Zr(0.2)Hf(0.2)Ti(0.2)Nb(0.2)Ta(0.2))Cpromising as light-weight ultrahigh temperature thermal insulation materials. | Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Jiachen Liu Yiming Lei Jie Zhang Yanchun Zhou | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8: | 16
Colorectal cancer burden and trends:Comparison between China and major burden countries in the world显示文摘Objective:To summarize the colorectal cancer(CRC)burden and trend in the world, and compare the difference of CRC burden between other countries and China. Methods:Incidence and mortality data were extracted from the GLOBOCAN2018 and Cancer Incidence in Five Continents.Age-specific incidence trend was conducted by Joinpoint analysis and average annual percent changes were calculated. Results:About 1.85 million new cases and 0.88 million deaths were expected in 2018 worldwide, including 0.52 million(28.20%)new cases and 0.25 million(28.11%)deaths in China.Hungary had the highest age-standardized incidence and mortality rates in the world, while for China, the incidence and mortality rates were only half of that.CRC incidence and mortality were highly correlated with human development index(HDI).Unlike the rapid increase in Republic of Korea and the downward trend in Canada and Australia, the age-standardized incidence rates by world standard population in China and Norway were rising gradually. The age-specific incidence rate in the age group of 50-59 years in China was increasing rapidly, while in Republic of Korea and Canada, the fastest growing age group was 30-39 years. Conclusions:The variations of CRC burden reflect the difference of risk factors,as well as levels of HDI and screening(early detection activities). The burden of CRC in China is high, and the incidence of CRC continues to increase, which may lead to a sustained increase in the burden of CRC in China in the future.Screening should be expanded to control CRC,and focused on young people in China. | Jiachen Zhou Rongshou Zheng Siwei Zhang Hongmei Zeng Shaoming Wang Ru Chen Kexin Sun Minjuan Li Jianhua Gu Guihua Zhuang Wenqiang Wei | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,1: | 16
Porous high entropy(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)B2: A novel strategy towards making ultrahigh temperature ceramics thermal insulating显示文摘Transition metal diborides based ultrahigh temperature ceramics(UHTCs) are characterized by high melting point, high strength and hardness, and high electrical and thermal conductivity. The high thermal conductivity arises from both electronic and phonon contributions. Thus electronic and phonon contributions must be controlled simultaneously in reducing the thermal conductivity of transition metal diborides. In high entropy(HE) materials, both electrons and phonons are scattered such that the thermal conductivity can significantly be reduced, which opens a new window to design novel insulating materials. Inspired by the high entropy effect, porous HE(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)B2 is designed in this work as a new thermal insulting ultrahigh temperature material and is synthesized by an in-situ thermal borocarbon reduction/partial sintering process. The porous HE(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)B2 possesses high porosity of 75.67%, pore size of 0.3–1.2 μm, homogeneous microstructure with small grain size of 400–800 nm, which results in low room temperature thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity of 0.74 mm2 s^-1 and 0.51 W m^-1K^-1, respectively. In addition, it exhibits high compressive strength of3.93 MPa. The combination of these properties indicates that exploring porous high entropy ceramics such as porous HE(Zr0.2Hf0.2Ti0.2Nb0.2Ta0.2)B2 is a novel strategy in making UHTCs thermal insulating. | Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Jiachen Liu Yanchun Zhou | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,10: | 15

High entropy(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12:A novel high temperature stable thermal barrier material显示文摘Ytterbium aluminum garnet(Yb3Al5O12)is considered as a promising thermal barrier material. However, the main limitations of Yb3Al5O12 for thermal barrier applications are relative low thermal expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity. In order to overcome these obstacles, herein,a new high entropy(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 ceramic was designed, and then powders and bulk were prepared through solid-state reaction method and spark plasma sintering(SPS),respectively. The thermal expansion coefficient of HE(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 is(8.54±0.29)×10^-6 K^-1 at 673 K–1273 K,which is about 9%higher than that of Yb3Al5O12.The thermal conductivity of HE(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 ceramic is 3.81 W·m^-1 K^-1 at 300 K,which is about 18%lower than that of Yb3Al5O12.Moreover,there is no reaction between HE(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 and thermally grown(TG)Al2O3 even at 1600℃.After annealing at 1590℃for 18 h,the average grain size of HE(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 increases only from 1.56μm to 2.27μm.Close thermal expansion coefficient to TG Al2O3,low thermal conductivity, good phase stability, excellent chemical compatibility with TG Al2O3 and slow grain growth rate make HE(Y0.2Yb0.2Lu0.2Eu0.2Er0.2)3Al5O12 promising for thermal barrier applications. | Heng Chen Zifan Zhao Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Wei Xu Kuang Sun Jiachen Liu Yanchun Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,13: | 14
Achieving strong microwave absorption capability and wide absorption bandwidth through a combination of high entropy rare earth silicide carbides/rare earth oxides显示文摘Developing electromagnetic(EM) wave absorbing materials with low reflection coefficient and optimal operating frequency band is urgently needed on account of the increasingly serious EM pollution. However, the applications of common EM absorbing materials are encumbered by poor high-temperature stability, poor oxidation resistance, narrow absorption bandwidth or high density. Herein, the strong EM absorption capability and wide efficient absorption bandwidth of high entropy ceramics are reported for the first time, which are designed by a combination of the novel high entropy(HE) rare earth silicide carbides/rare earth oxides(RE3 Si2 C2/RE2 O3). Three HE powders, i.e., HERSC-1(HE(Tm0.2 Y0.2 Dy0.2 Gd0.2 Tb0.2)3 Si2 C2),HERSC-2 HE(Tm0.2 Y0.2 Dy0.2 Gd0.2 Tb0.2)3 Si2 C2/HE(Tm0.2 Y0.2 Dy0.2 Gd0.2 Tb0.2)2 O3) and HERSC-3(HE(Tm0.2 Y0.2 Dy0.2 Gd0.2 Tb0.2)3 Si2 C2/HE(Tm0.2 Y0.2 Dy0.2 Gd0.2 Tb0.2)2 O3), are synthesized. Although HERSC-1 exhibits a limited absorption effect(the minimum reflection loss(RLmin) is-11.6 d B at 3.4 mm) and a relatively narrow effective absorption bandwidth(EAB) of 1.7 GHz, the optimal absorption RLminvalue and EAB of HERSC-2 and HERSC-3 are-40.7 d B(at 2.9 mm), 3.4 GHz and-50.9 d B(at 2.0 mm), 4.5 GHz,respectively, demonstrating strong microwave absorption capability and wide absorption bandwidth.Considering the better stability, low density and strong EM absorption effect, HE ceramics are promising as a new type of EM absorbing materials. | Heng Chen Biao Zhao Zifan Zhao Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai Jiachen Liu Yanchun Zhou | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,12: | 12
Deep Spectrum Prediction in High Frequency Communication Based on Temporal-Spectral Residual Network显示文摘High frequency(HF) communication is widely spread due to some merits like easy deployment and wide communication coverage. Spectrum prediction is a promising technique to facilitate the working frequency selection and enhance the function of automatic link establishment. Most of the existing spectrum prediction algorithms focus on predicting spectrum values in a slot-by-slot manner and therefore are lack of timeliness. Deep learning based spectrum prediction is developed in this paper by simultaneously predicting multi-slot ahead states of multiple spectrum points within a period of time. Specifically, we first employ supervised learning and construct samples depending on longterm and short-term HF spectrum data. Then, advanced residual units are introduced to build multiple residual network modules to respectively capture characteristics in these data with diverse time scales. Further, convolution neural network fuses the outputs of residual network modules above for temporal-spectral prediction, which is combined with residual network modules to construct the deep temporal-spectral residual network. Experiments have demonstrated that the approach proposed in this paper has a significant advantage over the benchmark schemes. | Ling Yu Jin Chen Yuming Zhang Huaji Zhou Jiachen Sun | 2018 | China Communications2018,15,9: | 9
Signatures within esophageal microbiota with progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Objective: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) is one of the dominant malignances worldwide, but currently there is less focus on the microbiota with ESCC and its precancerous lesions. Methods: Paired esophageal biopsy and swab specimens were obtained from 236 participants in Linzhou, China.Data from 16 S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing were processed using quantitative insights into microbial ecology(QIIME2) and R Studio to evaluate differences. The Wilcoxon rank sum test and Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test were used to compare diversity and characteristic genera by specimens and participant groups. Ordinal logistic regression model was used to build microbiol prediction model. Results: Microbial diversity was similar between biopsy and swab specimens, including operational taxonomic unit(OTU) numbers and Shannon index. There were variations and similarities of esophageal microbiota among different pathological characteristics of ESCC. Top 10 relative abundance genera in all groups include Streptococcus, Prevotella, Veillonella, Actinobacillus, Haemophilus, Neisseria, Alloprevotella, Rothia, Gemella and Porphyromonas. Genus Streptococcus, Haemophilus, Neisseria and Porphyromonas showed significantly difference in disease groups when compared to normal control, whereas Streptococcus showed an increasing tendency with the progression of ESCC and others showed a decreasing tendency. About models based on all combinations of characteristic genera, only taken Streptococcus and Neisseria into model, the prediction performance was the ideal one, of which the area under the curve(AUC) was 0.738.Conclusions: Esophageal biopsy and swab specimens could yield similar microbial characterization. The combination of Streptococcus and Neisseria has the potential to predict the progression of ESCC, which is needed to confirm by large-scale, prospective cohort studies. | Minjuan Li Dantong Shao Jiachen Zhou Jianhua Gu Junjie Qin Wen Chen Wenqiang Wei | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,6: | 4

Hybrid Field-Effect Transistors and Photodetectors Based on Organic Semiconductor and CsPbI_3 Perovskite Nanorods Bilayer Structure显示文摘The outstanding performances of nanostructured allinorganic CsPbX_3(X = I, Br, Cl) perovskites in optoelectronic applications can be attributed to their unique combination of a suitable bandgap, high absorption coefficient, and long carrier lifetime, which are desirable for photodetectors. However, the photosensing performances of the CsPbI_3 nanomaterials are limited by their low charge-transport efficiency. In this study, a phototransistor with a bilayer structure of an organic semiconductor layer of 2,7-dioctyl [1] benzothieno[3,2-b] [1] benzothiophene and CsPbI_3 nanorod layer was fabricated. The high-quality CsPbI_3 nanorod layer obtained using a simple dip-coating method provided decent transistor performance of the hybrid transistor device. The perovskite layer efficiently absorbs light, while the organicsemiconductor layer acts as a transport channel for injected photogenerated carriers and provides gate modulation. The hybrid phototransistor exhibits high performance owing to the synergistic function of the photogating effect and field effect in the transistor, with a photoresponsivity as high as 4300 A W^(-1), ultra-high photosensitivity of 2.2 9 106, and excellent stability over 1 month. This study provides a strategy to combine the advantages of perovskite nanorods and organic semiconductors in fabrication of high-performance photodetectors. | Yantao Chen Xiaohan Wu Yingli Chu Jiachen Zhou Bilei Zhou Jia Huang | 2018 | Nano-Micro Letters2018,10,4: | 4
ASAF: altered spontaneous activity fingerprinting in Alzheimer’s disease based on multisite fMRI显示文摘Several monocentric studies have noted alterations in spontaneous brain activity in Alzheimer's disease (AD), although there is no consensus on the altered amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations in AD patients. The main aim of the present study was to identify a reliable and reproducible abnormal brain activity pattern in AD. The amplitude of local brain activity (AM), which can provide fast mapping of spontaneous brain activity across the whole brain, was evaluated based on multisite rs-fMRI data for 688 subjects (215 normal controls (NCs), 221 amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) 252 AD). Two-sample t-tests were used to detect group differences between AD patients and NCs from the same site. Differences in the AM maps were statistically analyzed via the Stouffer's meta-analysis. Consistent regions of lower spontaneous brain activity in the default mode network and increased activity in the bilateral hippocampus/parahippocampus, thalamus, caudate nucleus, orbital part of the middle frontal gyrus and left fusiform were observed in the AD patients compared with those in NCs. Significant correlations (P?0.05, Bonferroni corrected) between the normalized amplitude index and Mini-Mental State Examination scores were found in the identified brain regions, which indicates that the altered brain activity was associated with cognitive decline in the patients. Multivariate analysis and leave-one-site-out cross-validation led to a 78.49% prediction accuracy for single-patient classification. The altered activity patterns of the identified brain regions were largely correlated with the FDG-PET results from another independent study. These results emphasized the impaired brain activity to provide a robust and reproducible imaging signature of AD. | Jiachen Li Dan Jin Ang Li Bing Liu Chengyuan Song Pan Wang Dawei Wang Kaibin Xu Hongwei Yang Hongxiang Yao Bo Zhou Alexandre Bejanin Gael Chetelat Tong Han Jie Lu Qing Wang Chunshui Yu Xinqing Zhang Yuying Zhou Xi Zhang Tianzi Jiang Yong Liu Ying Han | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,14: | 3
Low thermal conductivity and high porosity ZrC and HfC ceramics prepared by in-situ reduction reaction/partial sintering method for ultrahigh temperature applications显示文摘Porous ultra-high temperature ceramics(UHTCs) are potential candidates as high-temperature thermal insulation materials. However, high thermal conductivity is the main obstacle to the application of porous UHTCs. In order to address this problem, herein, a new method combining in-situ reaction and partial sintering has been developed for preparing porous Zr C and Hf C with low conductivity. In this process, porous Zr C and Hf C are directly obtained from ZrO2/C and HfO2/C green bodies without adding any pore-forming agents. The release of reaction gas can not only increase the porosity but also block the shrinkage. The asprepared porous Zr C and Hf C exhibit homogeneous porous microstructure with grain sizes in the range of 300–600 nm and 200–500 nm, high porosity of 68.74% and 77.82%, low room temperature thermal conductivity of 1.12 and 1.01 W·m-1 K-1, and compressive strength of 8.28 and 5.51 MPa, respectively. These features render porous Zr C and Hf C promising as light-weight thermal insulation materials for ultrahigh temperature applications. Furthermore, the feasibility of this method has been demonstrated and porous Nb C, Ta C as well as Ti C have been prepared by this method. | Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fu-Zhi Dai jiachen Liu Yanchun Zhou | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,12: | 3
High strength and high porosity YB2C2 ceramics prepared by a new high temperature reaction/partial sintering process显示文摘Porous ultrahigh temperature ceramics(UHTCs) are potential candidates as reusable thermal protection materials of transpiration cooling system in scramjet engine. However, low strength and low porosity are the main limitations of porous UHTCs. To overcome these problems, herein, a new and simple in-situ reaction/partial sintering process has been developed for preparing high strength and high porosity porous YB2C2. In this process, a simple gas-releasing in-situ reaction has been designed, and the formation and escape of gases can block the shrinkage during sintering process, which is favorable to increase the porosity of porous YB2C2. In order to demonstrate the advantages of the new method, porous YB2C2 ceramics have been fabricated from Y2O3, BN and graphite powders for the first time. The as-prepared porous YB2C2 ceramics possess high porosity of 57.17%–75.26% and high compressive strength of 9.32–34.78 MPa.The porosity, sintered density, radical shrinkage and compressive strength of porous YB2C2 ceramics can be controlled simply by changing the green density. Due to utilization of graphite as the carbon source, the porous YB2C2 ceramics show anisotropy in microstructure and mechanical behavior. These features render the porous YB2C2 ceramics promising as a thermal-insulating light-weight component for transpiration cooling system. | Heng Chen Huimin Xiang Fuzhi Dai Jiachen Liu Yanchun Zhou | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,12: | 2

Cybertwin-Assisted Mode Selection in Ultra-Dense LEO Integrated Satellite-Terrestrial Network显示文摘Ultra-dense low earth orbit(LEO)integrated satellite-terrestrial network(ULISTN)has become an emerging paradigm to support massive access of Internet of things(IoT)in beyond fifth generation mobile networks(B5G).In ULISTN,there are two communication modes:cellular mode and satellite mode, where IoT users assessing terrestrial small base stations(TSBSs)and terrestrial-satellite terminals(TSTs)respectively. However, how to optimize the network performance and guarantee self-interests of the operator and IoT users in ULISTN is a challenging issue. In this paper,we propose a cybertwin-assisted joint mode selection and dynamic pricing(JMSDP)scheme for effective network management in ULISTN,where cybertwin serves as the intelligent agent. In JMSDP,the operator determines optimal access prices of TSBSs and TSTs,while each user selects the access mode according to access prices.Specifically, the operator conducts the Stackelberg game aiming at maximizing average throughput depending on the mode selection results of IoT users.Meanwhile,IoT users as followers adopt the evolutionary game to choose an access mode based on the access prices provided by the operator.Simulation results show that the proposed JMSDP can improve the average throughput and reduce the delay effectively, comparing with random access(RA)and maximum rate access. | Xin Zhang Bo Qian Xiaohan Qin Ting Ma Jiachen Chen Haibo Zhou Xuemin(Sherman)Shen | 2022 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2022,7,4: | 1

Pathological Networks Involving Dysmorphic Neurons in Type ⅡFocal Cortical Dysplasia显示文摘Focal cortical dysplasia(FCD)is one of the most common causes of drug-resistant epilepsy.Dysmorphic neurons are the major histopathological feature of typeⅡFCD,but their role in seizure genesis in FCD is unclear. Here we performed whole-cell patch-clamp recording and morphological reconstruction of cortical principal neurons in postsurgical brain tissue from drug-resistant epilepsy patients.Quantitative analyses revealed distinct morphological and electrophysiological characteristics of the upper layer dysmorphic neurons in typeⅡFCD,including an enlarged soma, aberrant dendritic arbors, increased current injection for rheobase action potential firing, and reduced action potential firing frequency.Intriguingly, the upper layer dysmorphic neurons received decreased glutamatergic and increased GABAergic synaptic inputs that were coupled with upregulation of the Na^(+)-K^(+)-Cl^(−)cotransporter.In addition,we found a depolarizing shift of the GABA reversal potential in the CamKⅡ-cre::PTENflox/flox mouse model of drug-resistant epilepsy, suggesting that enhanced GABAergic inputs might depolarize dysmorphic neurons. Thus, imbalance of synaptic excitation and inhibition of dysmorphic neurons may contribute to seizure genesis in typeⅡFCD. | Yijie Shao Qianqian Ge Jiachao Yang Mi Wang Yu Zhou Jin-Xin Guo Mengyue Zhu Jiachen Shi Yiqi Hu Li Shen Zhong Chen Xiao-Ming Li Jun-Ming Zhu Jianmin Zhang Shumin Duan Jiadong Chen | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,9: | 1
