3Tribological Behavior of Al CoCrFeNi(Ti_(0.5))High Entropy Alloys under Oil and MACs Lubrication显示文摘The tribological properties of AlCoCrFeNi and AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) high entropy alloys under gear oil and multiply alkylated cyclopentanes(MACs)lubrication condition have been studied.The equiaxed crystal structure of AlCoCrFeNi alloy is obtained after heat-treatment.The AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) alloy keeps dendrite structure.Under the gear oil with good lubrication action,AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) alloy preserves better tribological properties than AlCoCrFeNi alloy.The delamination and crack behaviors tend to occur in the grain boundary of AlCoCrFeNi alloy and along the interdendrite region of AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) alloy.Under the MACs with relatively poor lubrication action,the applied load slightly influences the wear behavior of AlCoCrFeNi alloy,but seriously impacts the wear mechanism of AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) alloy.Compared with AlCoCrFeNi alloy,AlCoCrFeNiTi_(0.5) alloy keeps better wear-resistance at low applied load of 100 N,but preserves less wearresistance at high applied load of 200 N.Yuan Yu Jun Wang Jinshan Li Jun Yang Hongchao Kou Weimin Liu 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,5:6
4Mapping the immune microenvironment for mandibular alveolar bone homeostasis at single-cell resolution显示文摘Alveolar bone is the thickened ridge of jaw bone that supports teeth.It is subject to constant occlusal force and pathogens invasion,and is therefore under active bone remodeling and immunomodulation.Alveolar bone holds a distinct niche from long bone considering their different developmental origin and postnatal remodeling pattern.However,a systematic explanation of alveolar bone at single-cell level is still lacking.Here,we construct a single-cell atlas of mouse mandibular alveolar bone through single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq).A more active immune microenvironment is identified in alveolar bone,with a higher proportion of mature immune cells than in long bone.Among all immune cell populations,the monocyte/macrophage subpopulation most actively interacts with mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)subpopulation.Alveolar bone monocytes/macrophages express a higher level of Oncostatin M(Osm)compared to long bone,which promotes osteogenic differentiation and inhibits adipogenic differentiation of MSCs.In summary,our study reveals a unique immune microenvironment of alveolar bone,which may provide a more precise immune-modulatory target for therapeutic treatment of oral diseases.Weimin Lin Qiwen Li Danting Zhang Xiaohan Zhang Xingying Qi Qian Wang Yaqian Chen Caojie Liu Hanwen Li Shiwen Zhang Yuan Wang Bin Shao Li Zhang Quan Yuan 2021Bone Research2021,9,1:6
53D Particle Image Velocimetry Test of Inner Flow in a Double Blade Pump Impeller显示文摘The double blade pump is widely used in sewage treatment industry,however,the research on the internal flow characteristics of the double blade pump with particle image velocimetry(PIV) technology is very little at present.To reveal inner flow characteristics in double blade pump impeller under off-design and design conditions,inner flows in a double blade pump impeller,whose specific speed is 111,are measured under the five off-design conditions and design condition by using 3D PIV test technology.In order to ensure the accuracy of the 3D PIV test,the external trigger synchronization system which makes use of fiber optic and equivalent calibration method are applied.The 3D PIV relative velocity synthesis procedure is compiled by using Visual C++ 2005.Then absolute velocity distribution and relative velocity distribution in the double blade pump impeller are obtained.Test results show that vortex exists in each condition,but the location,size and velocity of vortex core are different.Average absolute velocity value of impeller outlet increases at first,then decreases,and then increases again with increase of flow rate.Again average relative velocity values under 0.4,0.8,and 1.2 design condition are higher than that under 1.0 design condition,while under 0.6 and 1.4 design condition it is lower.Under low flow rate conditions,radial vectors of absolute velocities at impeller outlet and blade inlet near the pump shaft decrease with increase of flow rate,while that of relative velocities at the suction side near the pump shaft decreases.Radial vectors of absolute velocities and relative velocities change slightly under the two large flow rate conditions.The research results can be applied to instruct the hydraulic optimization design of double blade pumps.LIU Houlin WANG Kai YUAN Shouqi TAN Minggao WANG Yong RU Weimin 2012Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3:5
6Study of algorithms of phase advance measurement between BPMs and its application in SSRF显示文摘As a third generation light source, Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF) has up to 140 beam position monitors (BPM) installed to monitor the beam dynamics on its storage ring. Once the operation mode is chosen, the betatron functions are determined. Since the sinusoidal betatron oscillation is the dominant component of the transverse motion, these BPMs can be used to measure the motion to get the betatron functions. Three methods are compared to calculate the phase advance among the BPMs in this paper, aiming to find one or more feasible ways to check the beam optics in SSRF. 7Preliminary observation results of the Coherent Beacon Systemonboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite-1显示文摘This paper reports, for the first time, observation results of the Coherent Beacon System(CBS) onboard the China SeismoElectromagnetic Satellite-1(CSES-1). We describe the CBS, and the Computerized Ionospheric Tomography(CIT) algorithm program is validated by numerical experiment. Two examples are shown, for daytime and nighttime respectively. The Equatorial Ionization Anomaly(EIA) can be seen, and the northern crest core is located at ~20°N in the reconstruction image at 07:28 UTC on 20 July 2018(daytime).Disturbances are shown in the reconstruction image at 18:40 UTC on 13 July 2018(nighttime). We find that beacon measurements are more consistent with ionosonde measurements than model results, by comparing Nm F2 at three sites at Lanzhou, Chongqing, and Kunming; consistency with ionosonde measurements validates beacon measurements. Finally, we have studied Vertical Total Electron Content(VTEC) variations from ground to ~500 km(the height of CSES-1 orbit) and ratios of VTEC between beacon measurements and CODE(Center for Orbit Determination in Europe) data. VTEC variation from ground to ~500 km has a range of 7.2–16.5 TECU for the daytime case and a range of 1.1–1.7 TECU for the nighttime case. The Beacon/CODE ratio of VTEC varies with latitude and time. The mean Beacon/CODE ratio is 0.69 for the daytime case and 0.26 for the nighttime case. 8Design and measurement of signal processing system for cavity beam position monitor显示文摘In this paper,in order to achieve the output signal processing of cavity beam position monitor(CBPM),we develop a digital intermediate frequency receiver architecture based signal processing system,which consists of radio frequency(RF) front end and high speed data acquisition board.The beam position resolution in the CBPM signal processing system is superior to 1μm.Two signal processing algorithms,fast Fourier transform(FFT) and digital down converter(DDC),are evaluated offline using MATLAB platform,and both can be used to achieve,the CW input signal,position resolutions of 0.31μm and 0.10μm at -16 dBm.The DDC algorithm for its good compatibility is downloaded into the FPGA to realize online measurement,reaching the position resolution of 0.49μm due to truncation error.The whole system works well and the performance meets design target.WANG Baopeng LENG Yongbin YU Luyang ZHOU Weimin YUAN Renxian CHEN Zhichu 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,2:3
9Combined effects of interface modification and micro-filler reinforcements on the thermal and tribological performances of fabric composites显示文摘The high specific‐strength of glass fibers and exceptional self‐lubrication of polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)fibers promote the potential application of hybrid PTFE/glass fabric composites in the tribological field,but their weak interfacial adhesion and inferior thermal properties significantly inhibit their tribological performance and reliability.Herein,a hybrid of polydopamine/silicon carbide/polyethyleneimine(PDA/SiC/PEI)functional coating was co‐deposited onto the hybrid PTFE/glass fabric surface through a one‐step impregnation method,leading to increased surface roughness and abundant amine groups.Tensile and peeling tests showed that this functional coating offered 47.8%enhancement in the fabric/matrix interfacial adhesion without compromising the strength of the pristine fabric.Moreover,the additional incorporation of WS_(2),and aluminum nitride(AlN)micro‐fillers contributed to the development of a high‐quality tribofilm and improved the thermal properties of fabric composites.The results of wear tests proved that the hybrid‐fabric composites,after the introduction of functional coating and micro‐fillers,exhibited outstanding tribological performance,which was attributed to the superior interfacial adhesion as well as the synergistic enhancement effects between WS2 and AlN micro‐fillers.Junya YUAN Zhaozhu ZHANG Mingming YANG Xin ZHAO Liangfei WU Peilong LI Wei JIANG Xuehu MEN Weimin LIU 2021Friction2021,9,5:3

11Relationships of surface oxygen vacancies with photoluminescence and photocatalytic performance of ZnO nanoparticles显示文摘The ZnO nanoparticles are prepared by a precipitation process, and also are char- acterized by means of the modern testing techniques such as XPS, ESR, SPS and PL. The ac- tivity of the as-prepared ZnO is evaluated in the photocatalytic oxidation of gas phase n-C7H16. The relationships of surface oxygen vacancies (SOV) with photoluminescence (PL) and photo- catalytic performance are discussed in details. The results show that the smaller the particle size, the larger the SOV content, the stronger the PL signal, the higher the photocatalytic activity, in- dicating that the SOV, PL and photocatalytic activity have inherent relationships. This was be- cause of the reasons that the PL signal is attributed to the free and binding excitons resulting from the SOV, while the SOV is favorable for a photocatalytic oxidation reaction since the SOV can easily capture the photoinduced electrons, and the captured electrons had strong interac- tions with the adsorbed oxygen. 12A novel Cu-doped high entropy alloy with excellent comprehensive performances for marine application显示文摘High entropy alloy(HEA)has attracted great interests as one of the promising multifunctional materials in marine applications.However,Cu as an effective biocide tends to form segregation in HEA,which could deteriorate corrosion and induce brittle fracture.Herein,we report a strategy to tailor the existing form of Cu in HEA from undesired large-scale segregation to uniform distribution with dispersed nanoscale precipitation,while retaining the unique structure characteristics of HEA.Eliminating Cu segregation improves toughness and avoids serious corrosion in the grain boundary.Uniform distribution with dispersed nanoscale precipitation of Cu further enhances the antifouling and lubricating abilities of Cu-doped HEA.Tailored AlCoCrFeNiCu_(0.5)HEA in this work has excellent comprehensive properties combining good mechanical properties,outstanding antifouling abilities,superior resistance to corrosion and wear.Furthermore,the corresponded mechanisms are discussed in terms of Cu-segregation-eliminated,nanoscale-Cu-precipitate-forming and comprehensive properties.Yuan Yu Nannan Xu Shengyu Zhu Zhuhui Qjao Jianbin Zhang Jun Yang Weimin Liu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,10:3

16METTL3-mediated m^(6)A RNA methylation regulates dorsal lingual epithelium homeostasis显示文摘The dorsal lingual epithelium,which is composed of taste buds and keratinocytes differentiated from K14^(+)basal cells,discriminates taste compounds and maintains the epithelial barrier.N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is the most abundant mRNA modification in eukaryotic cells.How METTL3-mediated m^(6)A modification regulates K14^(+)basal cell fate during dorsal lingual epithelium formation and regeneration remains unclear.Here we show knockout of Mettl3 in K14^(+)cells reduced the taste buds and enhanced keratinocytes.Deletion of Mettl3 led to increased basal cell proliferation and decreased cell division in taste buds.Conditional Mettl3 knock-in mice showed little impact on taste buds or keratinization,but displayed increased proliferation of cells around taste buds in a protective manner during post-irradiation recovery.Mechanically,we revealed that the most frequent m^(6)A modifications were enriched in Hippo and Wnt signaling,and specific peaks were observed near the stop codons of Lats1 and FZD7.Our study elucidates that METTL3 is essential for taste bud formation and could promote the quantity recovery of taste bud after radiation.Qiuchan Xiong Caojie Liu Xin Zheng Xinyi Zhou Kexin Lei Xiaohan Zhang Qian Wang Weimin Lin Ruizhan Tong Ruoshi Xu Quan Yuan 2022International Journal of Oral Science2022,14,3:2

18Effects of Ti and Cu on the Microstructure Evolution of AlCoCrFeNi High-Entropy Alloy During Heat Treatment显示文摘The microstructure evolution of AlCoCrFeNiTi0.5 alloy and AlCoCrFeNiCu alloy during heat treatment was systematically studied,to reveal the influence rules of chemical activity of adding element on the microstructure evolution of AlCoCrFeNi system.Owing to the negative mixing enthalpy with the constituent elements,Ti element was mainly dissolved in the Al-Nirich phases,and aggravated the lattice distortion of B2 phase.The structure variation of BCC phase by adding Ti inhibited the formation of FCC phase and enhanced the precipitation ofσphase during heat treatment.Owing to the positive mixing enthalpy with constituent elements,Cu element tended to be repelled to the ID region and formed metastable Cu-rich FCC1 phase which would transform into Cu-Al-Ni-rich FCC2 phase with increasing temperature.The addition of Cu inhibited the precipitation ofσphase during heat treatment.Adding Ti maintained the stable dendritic morphology,while adding Cu reduced the thermal stability of microstructure.Two dramatic morphology changes occurred at 1000℃and 1100℃in the AlCoCrFeNiCu alloy.The lattice distortion of phase in AlCoCrFeNiTi0.5 alloy was aggravated with increasing temperature up to 800℃,then relaxed together with the dissolution ofσphase when temperature was above 900℃.The variation in lattice distortion dominated the hardness of AlCoCrFeNiTi0.5 alloy.With increasing heating temperature,the increasing volume fraction of region with FCC structure due to the transformation between FCC phases,and the pronounced coarsening in microstructure due to the reduced thermal stability,resulted in the mainly decreasing trend in the hardness of AlCoCrFeNiCu alloy.Yuan Yu Peiying Shi Kai Feng Jiongjie Liu Jun Cheng Zhuhui Qiao Jun Yang Jinshan Li Weimin Liu 2020Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2020,33,8:2

20Novel physical probe configurations in a multi-probe based 3D MIMO OTA setup显示文摘In this paper, channel spatial characteristics which mainly depend on the spatial correlation are selected as the significant factors in over-the-air(OTA) testing for multiple input multiple output(MIMO) devices. The multi-probe anechoic chamber method, a promising candidate of the MIMO OTA testing methods, can reproduce the multipath environments in a controllable manner. A novel physical configuration based on the variation of relative positions of probes in a MIMO OTA setup is put forward to obtain better spatial characteristics. Two physical configurations are presented to make a comparison with the typical configuration in this paper. The simulation results show that by making a proper probe configuration, good channel simulation accuracy can be achieved.
