| 1 | A novel fault section locating method based on distance matching degree in distribution network显示文摘Fault section location of a single-phase grounding fault is affected by the neutral grounding mode of the system, transition resistance, and the blind zone. A fault section locating method based on an amplitude feature and an intelligent distance algorithm is proposed to eliminate the influence of the above factors. By analyzing and comparing the amplitude characteristics of the zero-sequence current transient components at both ends of the healthy section and the faulty section, a distance algorithm with strong abnormal data immune capability is introduced in this paper. The matching degree of the amplitude characteristics at both ends of the feeder section are used as the criterion and by comparing with the set threshold, the faulty section is effectively determined. | 3 | A nomogram based on lymphocyte percentage for predicting hospital mortality in exertional heatstroke patients: a 13-year retrospective study显示文摘BACKGROUND: Exertional heatstroke(EHS) is a life-threatening disease without ideal prognostic markers for predicting hospital mortality.METHODS: This is a single-center retrospective study. Clinical data from EHS patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of the General Hospital of Southern Theatre Command between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2020, were recorded and analyzed. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to identify the factors for mortality. The prediction model was developed with the prognostic markers, and a nomogram was established.RESULTS: The study ultimately enrolled 156 patients, and 15(9.6%) of patients died before discharge. The lymphocyte count(Lym) and percentage(Lym%) were significantly lower in nonsurvivors(P<0.05). The univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses indicated that Lym% at the third day of admission(Lym% D3)(OR=0.609, 95%CI: 0.454–0.816) and hematocrit(HCT)(OR=0.908, 95%CI: 0.834–0.988) were independent protective factors for hospital mortality. A nomogram incorporating Lym% D3 with HCT was developed and demonstrated good discrimination and calibration ability. The comparison between the prediction model and scoring systems revealed that the prediction model had the largest area under the curve(AUC)(0.948, 95%CI: 0.900–0.977), with 100.00% sensitivity and 83.69% specificity, and a greater clinical net benefit.CONCLUSION: Severe EHS patients had a higher risk of experiencing prolonged lymphopenia. | 4 | Effects of nitrogen fertilizer on protein synthesis, accumulation, and physicochemical properties in common buckwheat显示文摘Nitrogen(N)fertilization affects grain quality in common buckwheat(Fagopyrum esculentum Moench).But the effects of N fertilizer on various buckwheat protein parameters are not fully understood.This study aimed to investigate the synthesis,accumulation,and quality of buckwheat protein under four N application rates in the Loess Plateau,China.Optimal N application(180 kg N ha-1)improved yield,agronomic traits,and N transport and increased protein yield and protein component accumulation.Prolamin and glutelin accumulation first increased and then decreased with increasing N application.The relationships between the contents of protein components and the amount of applied N generally followed quadratic functions.Nitrate reductase and glutamine synthetase activities first increased and then decreased with increasing N levels.Optimal N fertilizer increased the waterholding capacity and thermal stability of buckwheat protein and reduced its emulsification capacity,but negligibly changed its oil-absorption capacity.Hydrophobic amino acids and glutelin content were the main factors affecting protein quality. | Chenxi Wan Licheng Gao Jiale Wang Xinhui Lei Jincai Tao Baili Feng Jinfeng Gao | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Temporal-spatial analysis of cyromazine in cowpea using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry coupled with mass spectrometry imaging显示文摘Background:Cowpea(Vigna unguiculata L.Walp.)is an economically important crop.It is nutritious and popular with consumers.However,it has been listed as one of the agricultural products of critical concern about safety in China and cyromazine is the major risk factor.Objectives:This study analyzed the dissipation and permeation kinetics of cyromazine residue in cowpea,to offer a scientific basis for the rational use of pesticide and ensure the safety of agricultural products.Materials and methods:The dissipation and residue level of the systemic insecticide cyromazine on cowpea under field and stored conditions were investigated.Subsequently,the spatial distribution of cyromazine was studied using mass spectrometry imaging to visualize the dynamic processes of permeation and migration in the tissues post pesticide application.Results:The dissipation processing of cyromazine in cowpea was shown to follow the first-order kinetics and half-life was 7.76 d in the field.In cowpea,the permeation and migration rate of cyromazine was faster than that in kidney beans and accumulation was mainly in the pulp.It is not safe to apply cyromazine to cowpeas with reference to the application method on kidney beans.Conclusions:These findings present vital data for the determination of risks linked with cowpea consumption and pesticide intake. | Xuemei Tang Congling Huang Jianxiang Huang Jiale Wang Zhiting Chen Yan Chen Zemiao Xiao Kai Wan | 2023 | Food Quality and Safety2023,7,3: | 0 |
