| 1 | Metro train rescheduling by adding backup trains under disrupted scenarios显示文摘In large cities with heavily congested metro lines, unexpected disturbances often occur, which may cause severe delay of multiple trains, blockage of partial lines, and reduction of passenger service. Metro dispatchers have taken a practical strategy of rescheduling the timetable and adding several backup trains in storage tracks to alleviate waiting passengers from crowding the platforms and recover from such disruptions. In this study,we first develop a mixed integer programming model to determine the optimal train rescheduling plan with considerations of in-service and backup trains. The aim of train rescheduling is to frequently dispatch trains to evacuate delayed passengers after the disruption. Given the nonlinearity of the model, several linearization techniques are adapted to reformulate the model into an equivalent linear model that can be easily handled by the optimization software. | 2 | Robust energy-efficient train speed profile optimization in a scenario-based position-time-speed network显示文摘Train speed profile optimization is an efficient approach to reducing energy consumption in urban rail transit systems.Different from most existing studies that assume deterministic parameters as model inputs,this paper proposes a robust energy-efficient train speed profile optimization approach by considering the uncertainty of train modeling parameters.Specifically,we first construct a scenario-based position-time-speed(PTS)network by considering resistance parameters as discrete scenariobased random variables.Then,a percentile reliability model is proposed to generate a robust train speed profile,by which the scenario-based energy consumption is less than the model objective value at a confidence level.To solve the model efficiently,we present several algorithms to eliminate the infeasible nodes and arcs in the PTS network and propose a model reformulation strategy to transform the original model into an equivalent linear programming model.Lastly,on the basis of our field test data collected in Beijing metro Yizhuang line,a series of experiments are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the model and analyze the influences of parameter uncertainties on the generated train speed profile. | Yu CHENG Jiateng YIN Lixing YANG | 2021 | Frontiers of Engineering Management2021,8,4: | 3 |
| 3 | Geometric error analysis of an over-constrained parallel tracking mechanism using the screw theory显示文摘This paper deals with geometric error modeling and sensitivity analysis of an overconstrained parallel tracking mechanism. The main contribution is the consideration of overconstrained features that are usually ignored in previous research. The reciprocal property between a motion and a force is applied to tackle this problem in the framework of the screw theory. First of all, a nominal kinematic model of the parallel tracking mechanism is formulated. On this basis, the actual twist of the moving platform is computed through the superposition of the joint twist and geometric errors. The actuation and constrained wrenches of each limb are applied to exclude the joint displacement. After eliminating repeated errors brought by the multiplication of wrenches, a geometric error model of the parallel tracking mechanism is built. Furthermore,two sensitivity indices are defined to select essential geometric errors for future kinematic calibration. Finally, the geometric error model with minimum geometric errors is verified by simulation with SolidWorks software. Two typical poses of the parallel tracking mechanism are selected, and the differences between simulation and calculation results are very small. | 7 | Improved methodology for efficient establishment of the myocardial ischemia-reperfusion model in pigs through the median thoracic incision显示文摘To investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of establishing porcine ischemia-reperfusion models by ligating the left anterior descending(LAD)coronary artery,we first randomly divided 16 male Bama pigs into a sham group and a model group.After anesthesia,we separated the arteries and veins.Subsequently,we rapidly located the LAD coronary artery at the beginning of its first diagonal branch through a mid-chest incision.Then,we loosened and released the ligation line after five minutes of pre-occlusion.Finally,we ligated the LAD coronary artery in situ two minutes later and loosened the ligature 60 min after ischemia.Compared with the sham group,electrocardiogram showed multiple continuous lead ST-segment elevations,and ultrasound cardiogram showed significantly lower ejection fraction and left ventricular fractional shortening at one hour and seven days post-operation in the model group.Twenty-four hours after the operation,cardiac troponin T and creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme levels significantly increased in the model group,compared with the sham group.Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed the presence of many inflammatory cells infiltrating the interstitium of the myocardium in the model group but not in the sham group.Masson staining revealed a significant increase in infarct size in the ischemia/reperfusion group.All eight pigs in the model group recovered with normal sinus heart rates,and the survival rate was 100%.In conclusion,the method can provide an accurate and stable large animal model for preclinical research on ischemia/reperfusion with a high success rate and homogeneity of the myocardial infarction area. | Liuhua Zhou Jiateng Sun Tongtong Yang Sibo Wang Tiankai Shan Lingfeng Gu Jiawen Chen Tianwen Wei Di Zhao Chong Du Yulin Bao Hao Wang Xiaohu Lu Haoliang Sun Meng Lv Di Yang Liansheng Wang | 2023 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2023,37,4: | 1 |
| 8 | Hsa_Circ_0000826 inhibits the proliferation of colorectal cancer by targeting AUF1显示文摘Many circular RNAs(circRNAs)are reported to be abnormally expressed during the progression of various tumors,and these circRNAs can be used as anti-tumor targets.Therefore,it is important to identify circRNAs that can be used effectively for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer(CRC).Here,we report that hsa_Circ_0000826(Circ_0000826),a circ RNA with significantly reduced expression level in CRC tissues,is associated with a poor prognosis in patients.The silencing of Circ_0000826 promotes the proliferation of CRC cells.Conversely,the overexpression of Circ_0000826 restricted CRC cell proliferation both in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore,Circ_0000826 could target AU-rich element RNA-binding protein 1(AUF1).AUF1,known as heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D(hnRNP D),could bind to the c-MYC 3’-UTR and promote c-MYC expression.When Circ_0000826 binds to AUF1,it competitively inhibits the binding of AUF1 to the c-MYC 3’-UTR,which inhibits the c-MYC expression and cell proliferation.These results provide novel insights into the functional mechanism of Circ_0000826 action in CRC progression and indicate its potential use as a therapeutic target in CRC. | Zheying Zhang Wenyan Fan Qingzu Gao Yifei Han Jingyu Ma Wuji Gao Yuhan Hu Huifang Zhu Rui Yang Haijun Wang Baoshun Du Zuoyang Zhang Jiateng Zhong | 2023 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2023,50,3: | 0 |

| 10 | Variation characteristics of fine particulate matter and its components in diesel vehicle emission plumes显示文摘A rapid reaction occurs near the exhaust nozzle when vehicle emissions contact the air.Twenty diesel vehicles were studied using a new multipoint sampling system that is suitable for studying the exhaust plume near the exhaust nozzle.The variation characteristics of fine particle matter(PM_(2.5)) and its components in diesel vehicle exhaust plumes were analyzed.The PM_(2.5) emissions gradually increased with increasing distance from the nozzle in the plume.Elemental carbon emissions remained basically unchanged, organic carbon and total carbon(TC) increased with increasing distance.The concentrations of SO_(4)^(2-),NO_(3)^(-) and NH_(4)^(+) (SNA) directly emitted by the vehicles were very low but increased rapidly in the exhaust plume.The selective catalytic reduction(SCR) reduced 42.7% TC, 40% NO_(3)^(-) emissions, but increased 104% SO_(4)^(2-) and 36% NH_(4)^(+) emissions, respectively.In summary,the SCR reduced 29% primary PM_(2.5) emissions for the tested diesel vehicles.The NH_(4)NO_(3) particle formation maybe more important in the plume, and there maybe other forms of formation of NH_(4)^(+) (eg.NH4Cl).The generation of secondary organic carbon(SOC) plays a leading role in the generation of secondary PM_(2.5).The SCR enhanced the formation of SOC and SNA in the plume, but comprehensive analysis shows that the SCR more enhanced the SNA formation in the plume, which is mainly new particles formation process.The inconsistency between secondary organic aerosol(SOA) and primary organic aerosol definitions is one of the important reasons for the difference between SOA simulation and observation. | Xianbao Shen Jiateng Hao Lei Kong Yue Shi Xinyue Cao Jiacheng Shi Zhiliang Yao Xin Li Bobo Wu Yiming Xu Kebin He | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,9: | 0 |
