1Heterogeneous strain regime in the eastern margin of Tibetan Plateau and its tectonic implications显示文摘The eastern margin of Tibetan Plateau is one of the most active zones of tectonic deformation and seismicity in China. To monitor strain buildup and benefit seismic risk assessment, we constructed 14 survey-mode global position system(GPS) stations throughout the northwest of Longmenshan fault. A new GPS field over 1999–2011 is derived from measurements of the newly built and pre-existing stations in this region. Sequentially,two strain rate fields, one preceding and the other following the 2008 MW7.9 Wenchuan earthquake, are obtained using the Gausian weighting approach. Strain field over1999–2007 shows distinct strain partitioning prior to the2008 MW7.9 Wenchuan earthquake, with compression spreading over around Longmenshan area. Strain field derived from the two measurements in 2009 and 2011 shows that the area around Longmenshan continues to be under striking compression, as the pattern preceding the Wenchuan earthquake, implying a causative factor of the sequent of 2013 MW6.7 Lushan earthquake. Our GPSderived dilatation shows that both the Wenchuan and Lushan earthquakes occurred within the domain of pronounced contraction. The GPS velocities demonstrate that the Longriba fault underwent slight motion with the faultnormal and-parallel rates at 1.0 ± 2.5 mm and 0.3 ± 2.2 mm/a; the Longmenshan fault displayed slow activity, with a fault-normal rate at 0.8 ± 2.5 mm/a, and a fault-parallel rate at 1.8 ± 1.7 mm/a. Longriba fault is on a par with Longmenshan fault in strain partitioning to accommodate the southeastward motion of eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. 2Global crustal movement and tectonic plate boundary deformation constrained by the ITRF2008显示文摘On the basis of the newly released International Terrestrial Reference Frame(ITRF2008) by the International Earth Rotation Service(IERS),a new global plate model ITRF2008 plate for the major plates is established.This ITRF2008-derived model is analyzed in comparison with NNR-NUVEL1A model,which is mainly based on geological and geophysical data.The Eurasia and Pacific plates display obvious differences in terms of the velocity fields derived from the two plate motion models.Plate acceleration is also introduced to characterize the differences of the two velocity fields which obtained from ITRF2008-plate and NNR-NUVEL1A models for major individual plates.The results show that the Africa,South America and Eurasia plates are undergoing acceleration,while the North America and Australia plates are in the state of deceleration motion.Zhu Ze Meng Guojie Su Xiaoning Wu Jicang Li Jean Xiaojing 2012Geodesy and Geodynamics2012,3,3:4
3Characteristics of Nitric-Oxide Emissions from Traditional Flame and MILD Combustion Operating in a Laboratory-Scale Furnace显示文摘This study investigated the formation and emission characteristics of nitric oxide(NO) from flameless MILD(moderate or intensive low-oxygen dilution) combustion(MILDC) versus traditional visible-flame combustion(TC) in a 30-k W furnace. Both combustion processes were experimentally operated successively in the same furnace, burning natural gas at a fixed rate of 19 k W and the equivalence ratio of 0.86. Numerical simulations of TC and MILDC were carried out to explain their distinction in the measured furnace temperature and exhaust NO emissions. Present measurements of the NO emission(XNO) versus a varying furnace wall temperature(Tw) have revealed, at the first time, that the relationship of XNO ~ Tw was exponential in both TC and MILDC. By analyzing the simulated results, the average temperature over the reaction zone was identified to be the common characteristic temperature for scaling NO emissions of both cases. Moreover, relative to TC, MILDC had a fairly uniform temperature distribution and low peak temperature, thus reducing the NO emission by over 90%. 10Detecting spatio-temporal urban surface changes using identified temporary coherent scatterers显示文摘Synthetic aperture radar(SAR) is able to detect surface changes in urban areas with a short revisit time, showing its capability in disaster assessment and urbanization monitoring.Most presented change detection methods are conducted using couples of SAR amplitude images. However, a prior date of surface change is required to select a feasible image pair. We propose an automatic spatio-temporal change detection method by identifying the temporary coherent scatterers. Based on amplitude time series, χ^(2)-test and iterative single pixel change detection are proposed to identify all step-times: the moments of the surface change. Then the parameters, e.g., deformation velocity and relative height, are estimated and corresponding coherent periods are identified by using interferometric phase time series. With identified temporary coherent scatterers, different types of temporal surface changes can be classified using the location of the coherent periods and spatial significant changes are identified combining point density and F values. The main advantage of our method is automatically detecting spatio-temporal surface changes without prior information. 11Interest Points Analysis for Internet Forum Based on Long-Short Windows Similarity显示文摘For Internet forum Points of Interest(PoI),existing analysis methods are usually lack of usability analysis under different conditions and ignore the long-term variation,which lead to blindness in method selection.To address this problem,this paper proposed a PoI variation prediction framework based on similarity analysis between long and short windows.Based on the framework,this paper presented 5 PoI analysis algorithms which can be categorized into 2 types,i.e.,the traditional sequence analysis methods such as autoregressive integrated moving average model(ARIMA),support vector regressor(SVR),and the deep learning methods such as convolutional neural network(CNN),long-short term memory network(LSTM),Transformer(TRM).Specifically,this paper firstly divides observed data into long and short windows,and extracts key words as PoI of each window.Then,the PoI similarities between long and short windows are calculated for training and prediction.Finally,series of experiments is conducted based on real Internet forum datasets.The results show that,all the 5 algorithms could predict PoI variations well,which indicate effectiveness of the proposed framework.When the length of long window is small,traditional methods perform better,and SVR is the best.On the contrary,the deep learning methods show superiority,and LSTM performs best.The results could provide beneficial references for PoI variation analysis and prediction algorithms selection under different parameter configurations.Xinghai Ju Jicang Lu Xiangyang Luo Gang Zhou Shiyu Wang Shunhang Li Yang Yang 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,8:0
