A New Approach to Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations显示文摘In this paper,a novel method called variational iteration method is proposed to solve nonlinear partial differential equations without linearization or small perturbations. In this method,a correction functional is constructed by a general Lagrange multiplier, which can be identified via variational theory. An analytical solution can be obtained from its trial- function with possible unknown constants, which can be identified by imposing the boundary conditions,by successively iteration. | Jihuan HE (Shanghai University,Shanghai Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics,Shanghai 2 0 0 0 72 ,China) | 1997 | Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation1997,2,4: | 16
SUMOylation of RIG-I positively regulates the type I interferon signaling显示文摘Retinoic acid-inducible gene-I(RIG-I)functions as an intracellular pattern recognition receptor(PRR)that recognizes the 5'-triphosphate moiety of single-stranded RNA viruses to initiate the innate immune response.Previous studies have shown that Lys63-linked ubiquitylation is required for RIG-I activation and the downstream anti-viral type I interferon(IFN-I)induction.Herein we reported that,RIG-I was also modified by small ubiquitin-like modifier-1(SUMO-1).Functional analysis showed that RIG-I SUMOylation enhanced IFN-I production through increased ubiquitylation and the interaction with its downstream adaptor molecule Cardif. Our results therefore suggested that SUMOylation might serve as an additional regulatory tier for RIG-I activation and IFN-I signaling. | Zhiqiang Mi Jihuan Fu Yanbao Xiong Hong Tang | 2010 | Protein & Cell2010,1,3: | 6

Numerical Analysis of Space Charge Characteristics in Low-density Polyethylene Nanocomposite Under External DC Electric Field显示文摘The dynamic characteristics of space charge in nanocomposite of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) mixed with inorganic nano- fillers. Different from previous qualitatively theoretical works, we investigated the influence of trap depth, trap volume charge density and injection barrier height on the space charge and the electric field distribution in the nanocomposite under a DC external electric field (100 MV/m) systematically and quantificationally, through numerical simulations based on a bipolar charge transport model. The simulation re- sults showed that, the increase of trap depth would severely distort the balanced electric field distribution with the highest and the lowest electric field of 119 MV/m and 47 MV/m, respectively. It is concluded that the introduction of nanofillers creates more deep traps, which would block space charges by capturing most of them in the vicinity of electrode and hence reduce the local electric field largely. Further theoretical analysis of the simulation indicates that both the high permittivity and the low local electric field of the nanocomposite contri- buted to the increase of injection barrier height, and almost no charge could overcome an injection barrier higher than 1.25 eV. At last, a mechanism of space charge suppression in the LDPE nanocomposite was presented. | ZHOU Yuanxiang ZHANG Ling SHA Yanchao TIAN Jihuan | 2013 | 高电压技术2013,39,8: | 6

Acupuncture stimulation of Yamen(GV 15), Fengfu(GV 16), Baihui(GV 20), Shuigou(GV 26) and Hegu(LI 4) reduces brain microglia activation in a traumatic brain injury rat model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of acupuncture on neuroinflammation in traumatic brain injury(TBI) rats by stimulating Yamen(GV 15), Fengfu(GV16), Baihui(GV 20), Shuigou(GV 26) and Hegu(LI 4)acupoints and to investigate the mechanism underpinning this effect.METHODS: A TBI model was induced in SpragueDawley rats using Feeney's freefall impact method.Acupuncture to stimulate the Yamen(GV 15), Fengfu(GV 16), Baihui(GV 20), Shuigou(GV 26) and Hegu(LI 4) acupoints was performed on the TBI rats. After 3 consecutive days of acupuncture treatment, we investigated signal molecules, receptors and microglia related to neuroinflammation in brain tissue of the TBI rats and analyzed the possi-ble mechanism underlying the effect of acupuncture on neuroinflammation.RESULTS: After the acupuncture treatment, ionized calcium binding adaptor molecule 1(Iba1), a protein specific to microglia, was investigated. In the cortical layer of damaged brain tissue in TBI rats, the Iba1-positive area was 3.3% ± 0.9% in the rats that received acupuncture compared with 5.2% ±1.4% in the TBI rats that did not receive acupuncture, and the microglia were smaller with more slender protrusions in the acupuncture-treated rats. This result indicates that acupuncture can significantly reduce microglia activation in TBI rats. A possible mechanism for this effect is that acupuncture reduces the expression of autotaxin and lysophosphatidic acid. Together, these constitute the autotaxin-lysophosphatidic acid axis, which induces microglial activation in the brains of TBI rats. Acupuncture treatment may downregulate the expression of Lysophosphatidic acid(LPA) receptor(LPAR) 1 and LPAR2 on the microglial cytomembrane, which affects the microglia activation process.CONCLUSION: Acupuncture stimulating the Yamen(GV 15), Fengfu(GV 16), Baihui(GV 20),Shuigou(GV 26) and Hegu(LI 4) acupoints can effectively inhibit the development of neuroinflammation after TBI. One possible mechanism for this effect is that acupuncture downregulates LPA synthesis and affects the LPA-LPAR pathway by inhibiting LPAR1 and LPAR2, thereby inhibiting microglial activation and reducing neuroinflammation. | Lin Shujun Zhu Mingmin Chen Weihao Zhang Yujuan Lin Jihuan Pu Liu Chen Shulian Zhang Yimin Liu Xin | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,2: | 3
Some New Approaches to Duffing Equation with Strongly and High Order Nonlinearity (II) Parametrized Perturbation Technique显示文摘For the strongly nonlinear equations without small parameter, a transformation u = v can be introduced for the nonlinear equation L(u) + N(u) = 0, where L and N are general linear and nonlinear differential operators respectively, P is sufficiently small. Therefore, a strongly non-linear system is transformed into a small parameter system with respect to the new introduced parameter P, thus various traditional perturbation techniques can be applied. By Lindstedt-Poincare method, a perturbation solution for Duffing equation with sib order nonlinearity is obtained, which is valid not only for the small parameter E in the equation, but also for very large values of E. | Jihuan HE (Shanghai institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Shanghai University, Shanghai 200072, China) Email: glliu@yc.shu.edu.cn | 1999 | Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation1999,4,1: | 2
Multifunctional Fibroblasts Enhanced via Thermal and Freeze-Drying Post-treatments of Aligned Electrospun Nanofiber Membranes显示文摘Parallel fibrous scaffolds play a critical role in controlling the morphology of cells to be more natural and biologically inspired.Among popular tissue engineering materials,poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(pHEMA)has been widely investigated in conventional forms due to its biocompatibility, low toxicity, and hydrophilicity. However, the swelling of pHEMA in water remains a major concern. To address this issue, randomly oriented and aligned as-spun pHEMA nanofibrous scaffolds were first fabricated at speeds of 300 and 2000 rpm in this study, which were then post-treated using either a thermal or a freeze-drying method. In cell assays, human dermal fibroblasts(HDFs)adhered to the freeze-drying treated substrates at a significantly faster rate, whereas they had a higher cell growth rate on thermally-treated substrates. Results indicated that the structural properties of pHEMA nanofibrous scaffolds and subsequent cellular behaviors were largely dependent on post-treatment methods. Moreover, this study suggests that aligned pHEMA nanofibrous substrates tended to induce regular fibroblast orientation and unidirectionally oriented actin cytoskeletons over random pHEMA nanofibrous substrates.Such information has predictive power and provides insights into promising post-treatment methods for improving the properties of aligned pHEMA scaffolds for numerous tissue engineering applications. | Ya Li Qian Shen Jing Shen Xinbo Ding Tao Liu Jihuan He Chengyan Zhu Ding Zhao Jiadeng Zhu | 2021 | Advanced Fiber Materials2021,3,1: | 2
Analytical Solution of A Nonlinear Oscillatorby the Linearized Perturbation Technique显示文摘In this paper, a nonlinear oscillator with no possible small parameters isconsidered. The traditional perturbation techniques can not be applied to such a problem.By linearizing the nonlinear system, and embedding an artificial parameter, we obtain anapproximate solution which is valid on the whole solution domain, and the results are inremarkable agreement with the exact one even in the case where the amplitude of theoscillator tends to infinite. | Jihuan HE(Shanghai institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Shanghai University,Shanghai 200072, China)E-mail: glliu@yc.shu.edu.cn | 1999 | Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation1999,4,2: | 2
