| 1 | A new iterative algorithm for geolocating a known altitude target using TDOA and FDOA measurements in the presence of satellite location uncertainty显示文摘This paper considers the problem of geolocating a target on the Earth surface whose altitude is known previously using the target signal time difference of arrival(TDOA) and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA) measurements obtained at satellites. The number of satellites available for the geolocation task is more than sufficient and their locations are subject to random errors. This paper derives the constrained Crame′r-Rao lower bound(CCRLB) of the target position, and on the basis of the CCRLB analysis, an approximately efficient constrained maximum likelihood estimator(CMLE) for geolocating the target is established. A new iterative algorithm for solving the CMLE is then proposed, where the updated target position estimate is shown to be the globally optimal solution to a generalized trust region sub-problem(GTRS) which can be found via a simple bisection search. First-order mean square error(MSE) analysis is conducted to quantify the performance degradation when the known target altitude is assumed to be precise but indeed has an unknown but deterministic error. Computer simulations are used to compare the performance of the proposed iterative geolocation technique with those of two benchmark algorithms. | 2 | Medusoid Fossils from the Sinian Xingmincun Formation of Southern Liaoning Province显示文摘Abundant medusoid soft-bodied metazoan fossils have been found in the Sinian Xingmincun Formation(with an isotopic age of 650 Ma) at Qipanmo, Qidingshan and Yangtun of the Dalian-Jinzhou area, southern Liaoning Province; in addition, a number of macroscopic algal fossils have been discovered for the first time in the Getun Formation overlying the Xingmincun Formation. Medusoid fossils include 3 genera and 6 species(all of which are new). Judging from their biological characters, these medusoid fossils are considered to have an intimate affinity with the Ediacara fauna in the terminal Precambrian of Australia, as their characters are close to each other. The authors suggest that these medusoids and the Edicara fauna might be the products of the same period. | 3 | Robust adaptive fuzzy backstepping output feedback tracking control for nonlinear system with dynamic uncertainties显示文摘In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy output feedback control approach based on backstepping design is proposed for a class of SISO strict feedback nonlinear systems with unmeasured states, nonlinear uncertainties, unmodeled dynamics, and dynamical disturbances. Fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate the nonlinear uncertainties, and an adaptive fuzzy state observer is designed for the states estimation. By combining backstepping technique with the fuzzy adaptive control approach, a stable adaptive fuzzy output feedback robust control is constructed recursively, in which nonlinear damping terms and a dynamical signal are introduced to counteract the nonlinear uncertainties and dominate the dynamic disturbances, respectively. It is proved that the proposed adaptive fuzzy control approach guarantees that all the signals of the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly bounded, and the tracking error converges to a small neighborhood of the origin. | 5 | Theoretical calculation of the impact work in the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel显示文摘Coupled with hot-continuous rolling technology and based on the calculation of the finishing rolling impact work in the non-quenched and tempered Si-Mn steel, the calculations of the finishing rolling impact work in the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel with the elements of Cr, Ni, Mo, W, Cu, V, Nb and Ti are studied with the covalent electron number nA of the strongest bond in alloying phases, the smallest electron density difference ?ρ of phase interfaces, and the number of atom states σ (σ′) which keep the interface electron density continuous. The calculated results show that the finishing rolling impact work of the alloying non-quenched and tempered steel intensely depends on strengthening mechanisms. The solution strengthening, interface strengthening, precipita- tion strengthening of pearlite, and dispersion strengthening will result in the decrease of the finishing rolling impact work; the refinement strengthening, the precipitation strength- ening of V, Nb and Ti in α-Fe-C-V(Nb, Ti), and the residual austenite containing Ni on the boundary of α-Fe-C-Ni will increase the impact work; and the increments or decrements can be calculated with nA, ?ρ, σ (σ′) and weights of alloying elements. The calculation formulas of the finishing rolling impact work in this paper are intergraded with the sug- gested ones of the finishing rolling tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of the non-quenched and tempered steel. | 6 | Gene expression profiles at different stages of human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To characterize the gene expression profiles in differentstages of carcinogenesis of esophageal epithelium.METHODS: A microarray containing 588 cancer relatedgenes was employed to study the gene expression profileat different stages of esophageal squamous cell carcinomaincluding basal cell hyperplasia, high-grade dysplasia,carcinoma in situ, early and late cancer. Principle componentanalysis was performed to search the genes which wereimportant in carcinogenesis.RESULTS: More than 100 genes were up or down regulatedin esophageal epithelial cells during the stages of basal cellhyperplasia, high-grade dysplasia, carcinoma in situ, earlyand late cancer. Principle component analysis identified aset of genes which may play important roles in the tumordevelopment. Comparison of expression profiles betweenthese stages showed that some genes, such as P160ROCK,JNK2, were activated and may play an important role inearly stages of carcinogenesis. | 7 | A Linear-correction Least-squares Approach for Geolocation Using FDOA Measurements Only显示文摘A linear-correction least-squares(LCLS) estimation procedure is proposed for geolocation using frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) measurements only. We first analyze the measurements of FDOA, and further derive the Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB) of geolocation using FDOA measurements. For the localization model is a nonlinear least squares(LS) estimator with a nonlinear constrained, a linearizing method is used to convert the model to a linear least squares estimator with a nonlinear constrained. The Gauss-Newton iteration method is developed to conquer the source localization problem. From the analysis of solving Lagrange multiplier, the algorithm is a generalization of linear-correction least squares estimation procedure under the condition of geolocation using FDOA measurements only. The algorithm is compared with common least squares estimation. Comparisons of their estimation accuracy and the CRLB are made, and the proposed method attains the CRLB. | 11 | Impact of serum levels of lipoprotein lipase, hepatic lipase, and endothelial lipase on the progression of coronary artery disease显示文摘Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between serum levels of lipoprotein lipase(LPL), hepatic lipase(HL), and endothelial lipase(EL) and the progression of coronary artery disease(CAD).Materials and methods: According to the inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, diagnostic criteria, angiography results, and the random matching scheme, the enrolled patients were divided into the following two groups: the progression-free group(n ? 47) and the progression group(n ? 15). The baseline characteristics and various biochemical parameters were obtained from the medical records and medical history. Serum LPL, HL, and EL levels were detected by ELISA. The correlation between serum LPL, HL, and EL levels and coronary lesions was statistically analyzed with SPSS software.Results: Significant differences were observed in serum levels of HL and EL between the progression-free group and the progression group(HL, 75.5 ? 39.2 ng/mL vs. 125.1 ? 42.1 ng/mL, P < 0.05;EL, 139.2 ? 59.6 pg/mL vs.175.1 ? 40.1 pg/mL, P < 0.05), while the difference in the LPL level was not significant(P > 0.05). Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC) analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC) values of LPL, HL, and EL were 0.506(95% CI: 0.369–0.642, P ? 0.9470), 0.792(95% CI: 0.664–0.888, P < 0.0001), and 0.693(95% CI:0.553–0.811, P ? 0.0095), respectively. Additionally, logistic regression analysis showed that the serum level of HL was an independent risk factor for coronary artery lesion progression.Conclusion: Serum levels of EL and HL, but not the serum level of LPL, were positively correlated with the progression of CAD. The serum level of HL was an independent risk factor for the progression of CAD, while the serum level of EL or LPL was not an independent risk factor for the progression of CAD. | 12 | A combination extract of Renshen(Panax Ginseng),Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus),Yuanzhi(Radix Palygalae) and Jianghuang(Rhizoma Curcumae Longae) decreases glycogen synthase kinase 3β expression in brain cortex of APPV717I transgenic mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the neuroprotective mechanism of combination extract of Renshen(Panax Ginseng),Yinyanghuo(Herba Epimedii Brevicornus),Yuanzhi(Radix Palygalae) and Jianghuang(Rhizoma Curcumae Longae)(GEPT) in treating Alzheimer's disease on the target of glycogen synthase kinase 3β(GSK-3β).METHODS:Three-month-old APPV717I transgenic mice were randomly divided into ten groups(n=12 per group) and intragastrically administrated vehicle or medicines:APP group was given 0.5% CMC,donepezil group was given donepezil(APP + D group)(0.92 mg/kg-1·day-1),and GEPT groups were given small dose of GEPT(APP+Gs group)(0.075 g/kg-1·day-1),medium dose(APP+Gm group)(0.15 g/kg-1·day-1),and large dose(APP+Gl group)(0.30 g/kg-1·day-1) for 4 or 8 months,respectively.Three-month-old C57BL/6J mice as vehicle controls(n=12) were given 0.5% CMC for 4 or 8 months as well.The GSK-3β expression in the cortex of 7-and 11-month-old APPV717I transgenic mice with and without GEPT or donepezil treatment and normal C57BL/6J mice were measured via Western blotting and Immunohistochemistry.RESULTS:Immunohistochemistry analysis showed significant increase of GSK-3β in the cerebral cortex of 7-month-old APP group(compare to control group P=0.003),while the GSK-3β expression of donepezil or GEPT group were all significantly decreased(Donepezil vs APP:P=0.041;Gl vs APP:P= 0.049;Gm vs APP:P=0.029;Gh vs APP:P=0.036).Western blot analysis showed similar results.The densitometric measures of GSK-3β in APP mice increased significantly as compared with the control group(P=0.008).And the GSK-3β expression in donepezil and GEPT groups were all decreased.There was significant difference between Gh group or donepezil group and the control group(P=0.05).Similar findings were shown in the 11-month-old mice in each group,except for greater decrease of GSK-3β in the GEPT group.CONCLUSION:GEPT can effectively decrease the level of GSK-3β expression in the brain cortex of APPV717I transgenic mice,and such effect is more significant in 11-month-old mice.This partially explains the neuroprotecting mechanism of GEPT in preventing and treating of AD. | Jing Shi Jinzhou Tian Xuekai Zhang Chuiyou Zeng Mingqing Wei Pengwen Wang Yongyan Wang | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2: | 6 |

Taking the impact work and the number of atom states σ 0 keeping the electron density continuous of the phase interface α-Fe/α-Fe-C between α-Fe and α-Fe-C as reference values, the impact work of the interface will increase when σ of some interface is larger than σ 0; otherwise, the impact will decrease. Therefore, the finishing rolling impact work α k can be calculated with the impact value of the refined α-Fe matrix and the influence amounts caused by the solution strengthening, the precipitation strengthening, the interface strengthening, and the number of atom states σ which keep the interface electron density continuous. | 20 | Interactions between bubble and particles of key minerals of diasporic bauxite through the extended DLVO theory显示文摘The flotation of diasporic bauxite is to separate diaspore(valuable mineral)from aluminosilicate minerals(gangue minerals,mainly including kaolinite,illite and pyrophyllite),and the microscopic interaction force between the two types of minerals and air bubbles determines the separation efficiency.In this paper,based on the extended Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek(DLVO)theory,the van der Waals,electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction between particles of the four minerals mentioned above and air bubbles in collectorless solution were calculated first,and then diaspore and kaolinite were taken as examples to analyze the influence of various factors such as electrolyte concentration,mineral particle size,air bubble size,collector type(dodecylamine hydrochloride(DAH)and sodium oleate(NaOL))and concentration,and pulp pH on the interactions between the particles of valuable mineral and gangue minerals and air bubbles.The results showed that the total extended DLVO interactions between the four minerals and air bubbles were repulsive in most cases in collectorless solution.The increase in electrolyte concentration reduced the interaction force or even changed the direction of the force under certain circumstances.The addition of DAH and NaOL can reduce the adhesion energy barrier of kaolinitebubble and diaspore-bubble respectively.Each type of minerals exhibited a specific interface interaction response with air bubbles in each collector with different pH values.The research results have theoretical guiding significance for the optimization and directional control of diasporic bauxite flotation conditions. | Ningning Zhang Tian Pang Rui Han Songjiang Chen Zhen Li Yuexian Yu Zhongyu Shi Lijun Liu Jinzhou Qu Anning Zhou | 2022 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,1: | 3 |
