| 6 | Correlation between lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and quality of life in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore correlations between the symptoms of constipation and abdominal distention and severity of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in patients with stable disease.METHODS:We studied 191 patients with stable COPD(according to defined criteria)in this cross-sectional study from four three-level class A Chinese medicine hospitals in China.We built an Epidata 3.0 database and performed statistical analysis with SPSS,version 17.0.We analyzed correlations between the frequency of lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms(constipation and abdominal distention)and scores for major pulmonary symptoms(cough,sputum and wheezing)based on the St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ),6-minute walking distance(6MWD)and frequency of acute exacerbations of COPD(AECOPD).RESULTS:In addition to their pulmonary symptoms,39.79%and 40.31%of study patients withstable COPD reported constipation and abdominal distention,respectively.Scores for major pulmonary symptoms(cough,sputum and wheezing),AECOPD and SGRQ values in patients with constipation and abdominal distention were significantly greater,and the 6MWD markedly shorter,than in those without them.According to Pearson's correlation analysis,there were strong correlations between these lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms and scores for pulmonary symptoms,SGRQ,6MWD and AECOPD.CONCLUSION:Lower gastrointestinal tract symptoms such as constipation and abdominal distention can adversely affect pulmonary symptoms,frequency of acute exacerbations and quality of life in patients with stable COPD. | Yan Sun Fengjie Zheng Yuhang Li Ruohan Wu Yuchao Liu Miao Liu Jinchao Zhang Kuo Gao | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5: | 10 |

The results showed that Dy3+ had no effect on BMSC proliferation at concentrations of 1×10-8 and 1×10-5 mol/L,but inhibited BMSC proliferation at other concentrations. Dy3+ had no effect on OB proliferation at concentrations of 1×10-10 and 1×10-9 mol/L,but inhibited OB proliferation at other concentrations. Dy3+ had no effect on the osteogenic differentia-tion of BMSCs at concentrations of 1×10-9 and 1×10-7 mol/L,and promoted osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs at other concentrations at the 7th day. The osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs was inhibited by Dy3+ at concentration of 1×10-5 mol/L at the 14th day,but promoted osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs at concentrations of 1×10-9,1×10-8,1×10-7 and 1×10-6 mol/L with the maximal effect at concen-tration of 10-6 mol/L. Dy3+ promoted mineralized function of BMSCs at any concentration. Dy3+ had no effect on adipogenic differentiation of BMSCs at concentration of 1×10-7 mol/L,but inhibited adipogenic differentiation of BMSCs at other concentrations. Dy3+ inhibited adipocytic trans-differentiation of OBs at any concentration,suggesting that Dy3+ had protective effect on bone and the protective effect on bone may be mediated by modulating differentiation of BMSCs away from the adipocyte and inhibiting adipocytic trans-differentiation of OBs which may promote differentiation and mineralization of OBs. The results indicated that daidzein, genistein and glycitein at concentrations from 1×10 -8 mol/L to 1×10 -5 mol/L promoted the proliferation of MSCs and osteoblasts; genistein, daidzein and glycitein promoted osteogenic differentiation and inhibited adipogenic differentiation of MSCs, and inhibited adipocytic transdifferentiation of osteoblasts at appropriate concentrations as 17β-estradiol. It suggests that genistein, daidzein and glycitein regulate a dual differentiational process of MSCs into the osteogenic and adipogenic lineages, and trans-differentiational process of primary osteoblasts into the adipocyte lineages, causing a lineage shift toward osteoblast. Protective effects of them on bone may be mediated by a reversal of adipogenesis which may promote the proliferation, differentiation and mineralization of osteoblasts, and make adipocytes secrete less cytokines which may promote osteoclast formation and activation. For the unmodified Hellinger-Reissner formulation of elasticity in which the stress and displacement fields are the primary unknowns, we derive two new nonconforming mixed finite elements of triangle type. Both elements use piecewise rigid motions to approximate the displacement and piecewise polynomial functions to approximate the stress, where no vertex degrees of freedom are involved. The two stress finite element spaces consist respectively of piecewise quadratic polynomials and piecewise cubic polynomials such that the divergence of each space restricted to a single simplex is contained in the corresponding displacement approximation space. We derive stability and optimal order approximation for the elements. We also give some numerical results to verify the theoretical results. For the Stokes equation, introducing the symmetric part of the gradient tensor of the velocity as a stress variable, we present a stress-velocity-pressure field Stokes system. We use some plane elasticity mixed finite elements, including the two elements we proposed, to approximate the stress and velocity fields, and use continuous piecewise polynomial functions to approximate the pressure with the gradient of the pressure approximation being in the corresponding velocity finite element spaces. | 14 | Salt-Gathering and Potassium Formation of Potassium-Rich Brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘Potassium-rich brine in the Sichuan Basin has been much studied in recent years, but few studies have focused on the distribution and migration of salt basin and the differences of potassium formation mechanisms. This work examined the salt-gathering and potassium formation of potassiumrich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin using lithofacies palaeogeographic depiction and geochemical analyses.(1) The favorable sedimentary facies controlling the formation of potassium-rich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin are evaporation platform and restricted platform, whereas the salt basin is one of the main factors controlling the poly-salt center.(2) The distribution and migration of this salt basin were affected by certain factors. The salt basin of the Jialingjiang Formation was mainly distributed in the east and central Sichuan Basin, whereas that of the Leikoupo Formation was mainly distributed in the central and west Sichuan Basin. The sedimentary centers have gradually moved westward and become smaller.(3) Three main formation mechanisms were identified for the potassium-rich brine during the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin, i.e., evaporation and concentration of seawater, surface fresh water leaching, and deep water-rock reaction. Fresh water leaching was characterized by low anomaly δ18 O and δ13 C values. Water-rock reaction was mainly related to temperature, and high temperature environment(caused by burial depth, overthrust and deep hydrothermal fluids) was beneficial to water-rock reaction. The characteristics of water-rock reaction do not correspond to the increase ratio of K·103/Cl and Br·103/Cl in brine, and the Rb+ content of the brine was high.(4) The formation mechanisms of potassium-rich brine differed between different areas of the Sichuan Basin. In east Sichuan, the evaporation and concentration of seawater, together with meteoric fresh water leaching, was the main formation factor, whereas the evaporation and concentration of seawater and water–rock reaction predominated in west Sichuan. | 16 | Severe drought strongly reduces water use and its recovery ability of mature Mongolian Scots pine(Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv.) in a semi-arid sandy environment of northern China显示文摘Trees growing in a semi-arid sandy environment are often exposed to drought conditions due to seasonal variations in precipitation, low soil water retention and deep groundwater level.However, adaptability and plasticity of individuals to the changing drought conditions greatly vary among tree species.In this study, we estimated water use(Ts) of Mongolian Scots pine(MSP;Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica Litv.) based on sap flux density measurements over four successive years(2013–2016) that exhibited significant fluctuations in precipitation in a semi-arid sandy environment of northern China.The results showed that fluctuations in daily Ts synchronously varied with dry-wet cycles of soil moisture over the study period.The daily ratio of water use to reference evapotranspiration(Ts/ET0) on sunny days in each year showed a negative linear relationship with the severity of drought in the upper soil layer(0–1 m;P<0.01).The decrease in Ts induced by erratic drought during the growing season recovered due to precipitation.However, this recovery ability failed under prolonged and severe droughts.The Ts/ET0 ratio significantly declined with the progressive reduction in the groundwater level(gw) over the study period(P<0.01).We concluded that the upper soil layer contributed the most to the Ts of MSP during the growing season.The severity and duration of droughts in this layer greatly reduced Ts.Nevertheless, gw determined whether the Ts could completely recover after the alleviation of long-term soil drought.These results provide practical information for optimizing MSP management to stop ongoing degradation in the semi-arid sandy environments. | DANG Hongzhong ZHANG Lizhen YANG Wenbin FENG Jinchao HAN Hui CHEN Yiben | 2019 | Journal of Arid Land2019,11,6: | 4 |

| 20 | Experimental research of active vibration and noise control of electrically controlled rotor显示文摘Electrically Controlled Rotor(ECR),also called as swashplateless rotor,applies blade pitch inputs via trailing-edge flaps system instead of traditional swashplate mechanism.In addition to primary control,rotor vibration reduction and noise alleviation are also achievable via applying higher harmonic control inputs with the trailing-edge flaps.In this paper,the feasibility of ECR to reduce vibration and noise actively is verified experimentally.Firstly,the test scheme of ECR active vibration and noise control is proposed,and the ECR test platform is modified according to the test scheme.Then,an adaptive control algorithm based on Kalman filter is developed.Lastly,hover and wind tunnel tests is performed to verify the feasibility of ECR active vibration and noise control.The results demonstrate that the ECR are effective for reducing rotor vibration and noise simultaneously.In the hover condition,the ECR can reduce the in-plane hub vibration by 42%and the inplane noise by 4dB.In wind tunnel condition,ECR can reduce the hub vibration by 75%and the BVI noise by 3dB. | Jinchao MA Yang LU Taoyong SU Shujun GUAN | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,11: | 3 |
