7Interaction between Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor Type-2 and Pre-mRNA Processing Factor 8显示文摘The plasminogen activator inhibitor type-2 (PAI-2) dependent apoptosis protection is due to the 33 amino acids fragment located between helix C and D of PAI-2, this fragment may interact with some unknown intracellular proteins. In this study we used the fragment between helix C and D of PAI-2 as a bait to perform a yeast two-hybrid screen using a cDNA library constructed with HeLa cells during apoptosis, and retrieved a clone encoding 94 amino acid residues of C-terminus of pre-mRNA processing factor 8 (PRPF8). Co-immunoprecipitation experiments confirmed that PAI-2 could interact with PRPF8 in vivo. PAI-2 could bind PRPF8 C-terminal in both the inside and outside of nuclear. 8Transcriptional Regulation of Urokinase Receptor in High-(95D) and Low-metastatic (95C) Human Lung Cancer Cells显示文摘To study the transcriptional regulation of urokinase receptor (uPAR) in high- (95D) and low-metastatic (95C) human lung cancer cells, we performed PCR to amplify 2238 bp uPAR promoter from 95C and 95D cells. According to the results of sequencing, five different bases are found in uPAR promoter between 95C and 95D cells. The results of luciferase activity assay showed that these differences have no significant effect on the uPAR promoter activity. Based on a normal uPAR promoter, progressive truncated mutants were constructed. 11Interaction of Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-2 and Proteasome Subunit,Beta Type 1显示文摘The apoptosis protection by plasminogen activator inhibitor-2(PAI-2) is dependent on a 33 amino acid fragment between helix C and D of PAI-2 which is probably due to the interaction of PAI-2 with unknown intracellular proteins. In this study, we used the fragment between helix C and D of PAI-2 as bait to screen a HeLa cell cDNA library constructed during apoptosis in a yeast two-hybrid system and retrieved a clone encoding 241 amino acids of proteasome (prosome, macropain) subunit, beta type 1(PSMβ1) which plays important roles in NF-κB activation. GST-pulldown experiments confirmed the interaction between PAI-2 and PSMβ1 in vitro. 12A Virtual Network Mapping Algorithm Based on Time显示文摘As one of the challenges for network virtualization, virtual network embedding which maps Virtual network(VN) to the substrate network and allocates resources according to the requirements of VN in an efficient way has gained great attention. Existing algorithms generally make their decision according to the present available substrate network resource, especially bandwidth. This paper proposes a time-based VN embedding algorithm. A probability model is formulated to obtain the maximum probability that the available resources of substrate network can be used by succeeding VN requests. The probability is set as the weight of the node and the greedy algorithm is employed to embed the virtual node. The reciprocal of the probability is set as the weight of the link and the shortest path algorithm is employed to embed the virtual link. 15Parametric Study of Low Frequency Broadband Rectilinear-to-Rotary Vibrational Energy Harvesting显示文摘A parametric study of a high-power-density dual resonator for achieving low frequency broadband electromagnetic energy harvesting is reported.The dual resonator consists of a rectilinear oscillator(R_LO)performing magnetic levitation and a rotary oscillator(R_TO)performing electromagnetic coupling through a stator and a rotor.Both oscillators,coupled by magnetic forces generated by a set of arc permanent magnets,radially magnetized and centro-symmetrically fixed onto the R_LO and the rotor of the R_TO achieve the reciprocating-to-rotary motion conversion and frequency up-conversion.Specifically,the dual resonator is able to convert stochastic reciprocating motion into controllable rotation,provide intrinsic frequency up-conversion,use non-contact magnetic coupling to provide near loss-free energy transfer and be configured into specific applications to obtain and maintain high-energy orbits of multi-stable energy harvesting.While solely focusing on developing a dual resonator provides substantial benefits,its dynamic behavior is unclear,thus electromagnetic-dynamic governing equations are derived,and a curve fitting model of restoring torque of R_TO under different repulsive magnets configurations are developed to predict key characteristics and to improve performance of the electromechanical system.Power analysis is carried out for providing aquantitative guidance of customizing the harvester to achieve an optimal power density.Chen Jingfan Deng Wei Wang Ya Inman Dan 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,1:1
16Bioactive superparamagnetic iron oxide-gold nanoparticles regulated by a dynamic magnetic field induce neuronal Ca^(2+)influx and differentiation显示文摘Treating neurodegenerative diseases,e.g.,Alzheimer’s Disease,remains a significant challenge due to the limited neuroregeneration rate in the brain.The objective of this study is to evaluate the hypothesis that external magnetic field(MF)stimulation of nerve growth factor functionalized superparamagnetic iron oxide-gold(NGF-SPIO-Au)nanoparticles(NPs)can induce Ca^(2+)influx,membrane depolarization,and enhance neuron differentiation with dynamic MF(DMF)outperforming static MF(SMF)regulation.We showed the that total intracellular Ca^(2+)influx of PC-12 cells was improved by 300%and 535%by the stimulation of DMF(1 Hz,0.5 T,30min)with NGF-SPIO-Au NPs compared to DMF alone and SMF with NGF-SPIO-Au NPs,respectively,which was attributed to successive membrane depolarization.Cellular uptake performed with the application of sodium azide proved that DMF enhanced cellular uptake of NGF-SPIO-Au NPs via endocytosis.In addition,DMF upregulated both the neural differentiation marker(β3-tubulin)and the cell adhesive molecule(integrin-β1)with the existence of NGF-SPIO-Au NPs,while SMF did not show these effects.The results imply that noninvasive DMF-stimulated NPs can regulate intracellular Ca^(2+)influx and enhance neuron differentiation and neuroregeneration rate.Elias Georgas Muzhaozi Yuan Jingfan Chen Ya Wang Yi-Xian Qin 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:1

18Mechanical deformation properties of Continuous Welded Rail on kilometer-span suspension bridge for high-speed railway显示文摘The complex bridge-track interaction between kilometer-span bridges and continuous Welded Rail(CWR)brings great challenges to CWR designing.Taking a suspension bridge with laying CWR as a case,the mechanical properties of CWR on the bridge are analyzed to reveal the sensitive areas of the track,and the design method of CWR and track structures on the beam ends are proposed.The results show that the unidirectional Rail Expansion Joints(REJ)need to be installed on the beam end of the kilometer-span bridge to reduce rail longitudinal force.Due to the bridge characteristics,there is no CWR fixed area on the kilometer-span bridge,and rail longitudinal force on the main span caused by bending loads needs to be concerned.The deformation of track on the beam end is complex,which is the weak area on the kilometer bridge,the large relative displacement between the stock rail of REJ and the main beam can cause poor stability of ballast bed on beam end,small resistance fasteners need to be laid on the sides of stock rail on the main beam to increase the stability of ballast and fasteners on the beam end.To improve the driving safety and comfort of beam end,the Sleeper-Supporting Apparatus(SSA)should be specially designed to ensure the uniform transition of track on beam ends.Temperature and wind loads have a significant impact on track regularity on the kilometer span bridge,the dynamic response of trains and bridges under those loads needs to be attended to.Xiaopei Cai Wanli Liu Liang Gao Yonghua Su Jingfan Yang 2023High-Speed Railway2023,1,2:0

20AG Channel Measurements and Characteristics Analysis in Hilly Scenarios for 6G UAV Communications显示文摘As an important part of sixth generation(6G)integrated space-air-ground-sea networks,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communications have aroused great attention and one of its typical application scenarios is the hilly environments.The related UAV air-ground(AG)channel characteristics analysis is crucial for system design and network evaluation of future UAV communications in hilly scenarios.In this paper,a recently conducted channel measurements campaign in a hilly scenario is presented,which is conducted at the center frequencies of 2.585 GHz and 3.5 GHz for different flight trajectories.Based on the measurement data,some key channel characteristics are analyzed,including path loss(PL),shadow fading(SF),Rician K-factor,root mean square(RMS)delay spread(DS),and temporal auto-correlation function(ACF).Finally,the comparison of typical channel characteristics under circular and straight trajectories is given.The related results can provide a theoretical reference for constructing future UAV communication system in hilly scenarios.Chongyang Yu Yu Liu Hengtai Chang Jingfan Zhang Mengjiao Zhang Peter Poechmueller Chengxiang Wang 2022China Communications2022,19,11:0
