1Spatial distribution pattern of Picea schrenkiana population in the Middle Tianshan Mountains and the relationship with topographic attributes显示文摘The spatial distribution of plant populations is an important feature of population structure and it determines the population's ecological preferences,biological characteristics and relationships with environmental factors.The point pattern analysis method was adopted to study the distribution pattern of Picea schrenkiana individuals of different size classes and the correlations between two size classes as well as the impact of topographical attributes on the population distribution.With increasing diameter at breast height,the plant density of the P.schrenkiana population showed a declining trend.Old trees showed a random distribution at a small spatial scale(0-12 m),whereas saplings,small trees and big trees all had an aggregated distribution at all scales.With the increase of tree age,the scales at which maximal aggregation occurred gradually increased and the aggregation strength decreased.At a small scale(0-16 m),all size classes showed a negative correlation and the larger the difference between tree size,the more significant the negative correlation.The number of medium,big and old trees had a significantly positive correlation with elevations,whereas the number of saplings and small trees was not significantly correlated with elevations.The numbers of saplings,small and medium trees showed a significant positive correlation with slope gradient,whereas the number of big trees was not significantly correlated,and the number of old trees was negatively correlated with gradient.With the exception of old trees,saplings,small,medium and big trees showed negative correlations with convexity index.The study provides a theoretical basis for the conservation,rehabilitation and sustainable management of forest ecosystems in the Tianshan Mountains.YuTao ZHANG JiMei LI ShunLi CHANG Xiang LI JianJiang LU 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,4:12
2COMPARISON ON REFINEMENT OF IRON POWDER BY BALL MILLING ASSISTED BY DIFFERENT EXTERNAL FIELDS显示文摘The cryogenic milling and milling in conjunction with dielectric barrier discharge plasma (DBDP) have been separately set up. The combined effect of low temperature and plasma on ball milling has been investigated by examining the refinement of particle size and grain size of iron powder using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and small angle X-ray scattering. It was found that the mean size of iron particles could reach 104nm only after 10 hours of ball milling in conjunction with DBDP, whereas a minimum average grain size of 8.4nm was obtained by cryomilling at -20℃; however, it is difficult to refine the particle size and grain size under the same milling condition in the absence of DBDP and cryogenic temperature.L.Y. 3Rho kinase:A new target for treatment of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Rho kinase inhibitor fasudil hydrochloride has been shown to reduce cerebral vasospasm, to inhibit inflammation and apoptosis and to promote the recovery of neurological function. However, the effect of fasudil hydrochloride on claudin-5 protein expression has not been reported after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. Therefore, this study sought to explore the effects of fasudil hydrochloride on blood-brain barrier permeability, growth-associated protein-43 and claudin-5 protein expression, and to further understand the neuroprotective effect of fasudil hydrochloride. A focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion model was established using the intraluminal suture technique. Fasudil hydrochloride (15 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected once a day. Neurological deficit was evaluated using Longa's method. Changes in permeability of blood-brain barrier were measured using Evans blue. Changes in RhoA, growth-associated protein-43 and claudin-5 protein expression were detected using immunohistochemistry and western blotting. Results revealed that fasudil hydrochloride noticeably contributed to the recovery of neurological function, improved the function of blood-brain barrier, inhibited RhoA protein expression, and upregulated growth-associated protein-43 and claudin-5 protein expression following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. Results indicated that Rho kinase exhibits a certain effect on neurovascular damage following cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. 4Validity and reliability of Chinese version of Fatigue Impact Scale in cerebral infarction patients显示文摘BACKGROUND: Post-stroke fatigue has received much attention recently. Three evaluation scales are available,including the Fatigue Impact Scale (FIS). Yet none of these has been proven to be of use in the evaluation of psychological quality after post-stroke fatigue. OBJECTIVE: To introduce FIS into China,and to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Chinese Version in patients with cerebral infarction. DESIGN: Scale evaluation. SETTING: Department of Rehabilitation,Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 330 patients with cerebral infarction were selected from the Department of Neurology,Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University from June 2005 to December 2006. All patients met diagnostic standards from the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Academic Meeting of China Medical Association and were diagnosed with CT or MRI examination. Patients who were not willing to accept scale evaluation were excluded. METHODS: The English version of FIS was translated into Chinese and subsequently translated back to English again. FIS was given to the discharged patients,and they returned them upon completion. In-patients completed and immediately returned the FIS. Validity and reliability of the retrieved scales were ascertained with descriptive and inference analysis. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Total scores and subscale scores of FIS. RESULTS: Out of 330 questionnaires,214 valid questionnaires were deemed valid in total. Six components were extracted in factor analysis,and the total cumulative contribution was 73.919%,which suggested the questionnaire was valid. After correlation analysis,6 components were divided into 3 subscales,including cognitive,physical,and social,which was the same as the English version. The Cronbach α value for the three subscales was 0.937 7,0.918 8,and 0.940 6,respectively (> 0.7). 5Biomass of meiobenthic in the Bohai Sea, China显示文摘A grid of 22 stations, giving a broad geographic coverage of the Bohai Sea and the Bohai Strait was selected. Undisturbed sediments were collected from sampling stations during cruises in June 1997, in September/October 1998 and again in April/May 1999. Based on the results of Juario (1975), the average biomass, 0.404 g/(m2a) of meiofauna (including nematode, harpacticoida, bivalve larvae, polycheata and kinorhyncha) in the Bohai Sea is given and accounts for 4.5 percent of the macrofauna in the Bohai Sea. The horizontal distribution of the biomass of meiofauna showed that it was higher at the stations of middle east part of the Bohai Sea and the strait in 1998 and 1999 cruises and it decreased at the stations near to the strait mouth and increased at Station B1 in 1999 cruise. The annual average production in the Bohai Sea is 3.636 g/m2 calculated in term of the formula P = 9B. Compared with the biomass of other sea areas in the world, the biomass of the Bohai Sea is similar but slightly lower. 7三通管中液固两相流冲蚀磨损的数值模拟显示文摘针对石油管道运输系统中三通管固液两相流的冲蚀磨损问题,采用DPM冲蚀预测模型,模拟分析油品中夹带的固体颗粒对三通管的冲蚀磨损情况,得出固体颗粒对三通管冲蚀的分布规律。结果表明:固体颗粒对于不同类型三通管的冲蚀部位以及磨损严重程度不同。T型三通管的冲蚀主要集中在与竖直管道正对的水平管道底部及其附近的外侧管壁,有球体弯头的三通管的冲蚀主要集中在球体附近水平管道的外侧管壁,且冲蚀磨损程度相对较小。陈宇 马贵阳 WU JiMei 2019机械强度2019,41,2:5

10Comparison of Compositions and Structural Characterizations of Synthetic Nano-hydroxyapatite and Mineral Phase from Porcine Femoral Bone显示文摘In the paper, nano-hydroxyapatite was synthesized by hydrothermal treatment. The crystal morphology and compositions of the synthetic HA were investigated using TEM, IR, XRD and XPS techniques and were compared with those of porcine femoral bone apatite. The results showed that the synthetic HA is nanometer rod crystal similar to the bone apatite, and the average crystal sizes calculated by Scherrer equation for the four samples (HA dried at 80℃, unburned bone apatite, HA calcined at 750℃ and bone apatite calcined at 750℃) are 20.6, 21.7, 22.5 and 27.6nm, respectively. 11Injectable conductive gelatin methacrylate/oxidized dextran hydrogel encapsulating umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells for myocardial infarction treatment显示文摘Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(UCMSCs)transplantation has been proposed as a promising treatment modality for myocardial infarction(MI),but the low retention rate remains a considerable challenge.Injectable natural polymer hydrogels with conductivity ability are highly desirable as cell delivery vehicles to repair infarct myocardium and restore the cardiac function.In this work,we developed a hydrogel system based on gelatin methacrylate(GelMA)and oxidized dextran(ODEX)as cell delivery vehicles for MI.And dopamine could be used as a reductant of graphene oxide(GO)to form reductive GO(rGO).By adjusting the amount of rGO,the conductivity of hydrogels with 0.5 mg/mL rGO concentration(≈10^(-4)S/cm)was similar to that of natural heart tissue.In vitro cell experiments showed that the prepared hydrogels had excellent biocompatibility and cell delivery ability of UCMSCs.More importantly,GelMA-O5/rGO hydrogel could promote UCMSCs growth and proliferation,improve the myocardial differentiation ability of UCMSCs,and up-regulate the expression of cTnI and Cx43.Further in vivo experiments demonstrated that GelMA-O5/rGO/UCMSCs Hydrogel could significantly improve the ejection fraction(EF)of rats and significantly reduce myocardial infarct area compared to PBS group,promote the survival of UCMSCs,enhance the expression level of cTnI and Cx43,and decrease the expression level of caspase-3.The findings of this study suggested that the injectable conductive GelMA-O5/rGO hydrogel encapsulating UCMSCs could improve damaged myocardial tissue and reconstruct myocardial function,which will be a promising therapeutic strategy for cardiac repair.Shuoji Zhu Changjiang Yu Nanbo Liu Mingyi Zhao Zerui Chen Jian Liu Ge Li Huanlei Huang Huiming Guo Tucheng Sun Jimei Chen Jian Zhuang Ping Zhu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,7:4
12Protective effects of autophagy against blue light-induced retinal degeneration in aged mice显示文摘The aim of this study was to explore the role of autophagy in response to blue light damage in aged mice and in human retinal pigmented epithelium(hRPE) cells. Blue light damage to the retina was induced in 10-month-old(10 mo) C57 mice and hRPE cells. Flash electroretinography was used to assess retinal function. Retinal structure changes were observed by electron microscopy. Western blot was conducted to determine the expression levels of the following proteins: cleaved caspase-3, p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases, protein kinase R-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase(PERK), autophagy marker light chain 3(LC3), P62, and Beclin-1. On day 1 after light damage to the 10 mo mice, retinal function was changed. The latent periods of awave and b-wave were delayed, and amplitude was reduced. The electron microscopy results revealed mitochondria damage in the retinal pigmented epithelium and a disorganized photoreceptor outer segment(OS). PERK, LC3, and Beclin-1 were upregulated, whereas P62 was not. On day 5 after the blue light damage, restoration of electroretinography and OS was observed.PERK, LC3, and Beclin-1 were downregulated, whereas P62 was not. Protein changes in vitro were consistent with in vivo. 13Controllable synthesis of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere twined by CNT for enhanced microwave absorption performance显示文摘The low dielectric loss of mesoporous carbon hollow microsphere(PCHM)requires high filler loading(higher than 20 wt%)when it is used as microwave absorbers.In order to decrease the filler loading of PCHM,a new strategy for synergistic increase of polarization and conductive loss was developed by twining PCHM with carbon nanotube(CNT)according to theoretic calculation.By the optimization of CNT content,the minimum reflection coefficient was -34.6 dB with a filler loading of only 10 wt%,which was much lower than -2.1 dB of PCHM.In addition,the effective absorption bandwidth was 3.6 GHz at X band with a thickness of 2.8 mm.The enhanced microwave absorption performance can be ascribed to the unique combination of hollow PCHM and one-dimensional CNT with higher graphitization degree,leading to increase of conductivity and heterogeneous interfaces.As a result,the conductive loss increased from 0.12 to 2.27 and polarization loss increased from 0.15 to 0.67,achieving the balance between attenuation ability and impedance match.Minghang Li Xiaomeng Fan Hailong Xu Fang Ye Jimei Xue Xiaoqiang Li Laifei Cheng 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,59,24:4
14Real-time geochemistry of urban aerosol during a heavy dust episode by single-particle aerosol mass spectrometer: Spatio-temporal variability, mixing state and spectral distribution显示文摘A heavy dust episode occurred from May 3 to 8,2017 in China,with an influenced area exceeding 1.63 million km2.In this work,the mixing state of aerosols and their spectral distributions were simultaneously observed in the sand source region ofHohhot and the long-range dust transport regi on of Nanji ng by using a single-particle aerosol mass spectrometer(SPAMS).The duration time of this dust episode was 37-40 h in Hohhot and prolonged to 51-104 h in Nanjing.Totals of 336,135(Hohhot)and 235,840(Nanjing)particles in PM2.5 were successfully ionized to identify 10 main particle classes.During this episode,aerosol particles including OCEC(30.65%),K(22.42%),K-CN(17.03%),sodium(9.46%),heavy metal(8.96%),EC-sulfate(3.46%)and Al(3.22%)were prevailing in Hohhot and were dominated by EC-sulfate(22.26%),OCEC(15.21%),heavy metal(11.96%),K(13.68%),sodium(12.27%),Al(10.54%)and EC(9.02%)in Nanjing.The spectral distribution peaked at 0.66μm during the dust episode in Nanjing,0.12μm larger than the peak size in the non-dust episode.Strong signals at-62[NO3)and-61[HCO3]/-61[C5H]for aerosol particles were observed in Hohhot and Nanjing respectively.The proportions of K-CN,sodium,heavy mental,OCEC and EC-sulfate particles in the dust episode of Hohhot were 2.75,1.41,1.80,1.22 and 1.28 times as large as the values in the non-dust episode.For Nanjing,the fractions of EC-sulfate,EC,Al particles in the dust episode were 10.55,4.65 and 1.46 times higher than values in the non-dust episode.The proportions of EC-secondary and EC-nitate particles were found to decrease in the dust episode in the two regions.Lijuan Shen Feng Hao Meng Gao Honglei Wang Bin Zhu Jimei Gao Yufei Cheng Fei Xie 2020Particuology2020,18,6:4

18Engineering Change Management Adaptive to PLM显示文摘Engineering Change (EC) management for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, including EC data model, EC evaluation and EC implementation is presented. A method of dynamic and parallel EC evaluation is proposed, which breaks an EC evaluation task into several subtasks. Such subtasks can be dynamically and simultaneously proceeded, disassembled and communicated by different specialists, and at the same time a set of EC objects is created. 20Iron oxide nanoparticles promote vascular endothelial cells survival from oxidative stress by enhancement of autophagy显示文摘Dextran-coated superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(Dex-SPIONs)are excellent magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents for disease diagnosis and therapy.They can be delivered to target tissues mainly though vascular endothelium cells,which are major targets of oxidative stress.In cardiovascular cells,autophagy serves primarily on a pro-survival approach that protects the cells from oxidative stress even some autophagy inducers have been developed for adjuvant therapy of cardiovascular disorders.Our study demonstrated that the nanoparticles could be taken up by human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)without causing obvious cytotoxicity but triggering autophagy.Furthermore,our results revealed that Dex-SPIONs could enhance HUVECs survival and reverse the reduction of nitric oxide secretion under the condition of H2O2 damage.However,these effects could be diminished by the autophagy inhibitor.In particular,we discovered that Dex-SPIONs evoked autophagy in HUVECs by reducing the phosphorylation of PRAS40,an upstream regulator of autophagy initiation.These results suggested that Dex-SPIONs functions as an autophagic-related antioxidant in HUVECs which may be utilized as an adjuvant therapy to cardiovascular disease associated with oxidative stress.Jimei Duan Jiuju Du Rongrong Jin Wencheng Zhu Li Liu Li Yang Mengye Li Qiyong Gong Bin Song James MAnderson and Hua Ai 2019Regenerative Biomaterials2019,6,4:2
