1Alloying effects of the elements with a positive heat of mixing on the glass forming ability of Al-La-Ni amorphous alloys显示文摘The effects of Sn and Ga additions on the glass forming ability(GFA)of(Al86La5Ni9)100 xSnx(x=0,0.2,0.3,0.5,0.7,1 and 2at.%)and(Al86La5Ni9)100 xGax(x=0,0.2,0.5,1 and 1.5 at.%)alloys were systematically investigated.Unlike common microalloying methods,both Sn and Ga have a positive heat of mixing with the main component of Al.Our analysis confirmed that proper Sn addition can suppress the strong formation ofα-Al and enhance the GFA due to the positive heat of mixing between Sn and Al and the large difference in their atomic sizes.While the addition of Ga to the base alloy acted as the nucleation cites forα-Al and accelerated precipitation of theα-Al phase,thus deteriorating the GFA.CHEN ZiPan GAO JingEn WU Yuan WANG Hui LIU XiongJun LU ZhaoPing 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,1:3
2On-line controlling system for nitrogen and phosphorus removal of municipal wastewater in a sequencing batch reactor (SBR)显示文摘The objectives of this study were to establish an on-line controlling system for nitrogen and phosphorus removal synchronously of municipal wastewater in a sequencing batch reactor(SBR).The SBR for municipal wastewater treatment was operated in sequences:filling,anaerobic,oxic,anoxic,oxic,settling and discharge.The reactor was equipped with on-line monitoring sensors for dissolved oxygen(DO),oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)and pH.The variation of DO,ORP and pH is relevant to each phase of biological process for nitrogen and phosphorus removal in this SBR.The characteristic points of DO,ORP and pH can be used to judge and control the stages of process that include:phosphate release by the turning points of ORP and pH;nitrification by the ammonia valley of pH and ammonia elbows of DO and ORP;denitrification by the nitrate knee of ORP and nitrate apex of pH;phosphate uptake by the turning point of pH;and residual organic carbon oxida-tion by the carbon elbows of DO and ORP.The controlling system can operate automatically for nitrogen and phosphorus efficiently removal.Jun LI Yongjiong NI Yongzhen PENG Guowei GU Jingen LU Su WEI Guobiao CHENG Changjin OU 2008Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,1:2
3Effect of traditional Chinese medicine on anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity in animal models:A systematic review and metaanalysis显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)on anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity(AIC)in animal models.Methods:Separate systematic searches for preclinical studies were performed in the PubMed,EMBASE,Web of Science,Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Biomedical Database,Chinese Scientific Journal Database,and Wanfang Data from inception to August 2019.The primary outcomes were echocardiography,serum assays for myocardial enzymograms,histological assessments,and electrocardiograms.The secondary outcomes mainly included body weight and safety evaluations.The protocol is registered on PROSPERO(CRD42019145819).RevMan(V.5.3)was used for meta-analysis.Results:We identified 10 studies from 9 international scientific publications describing the efficacy of TCM on AIC animal models.All the included studies reported that,compared with animal model without any intervention,TCM significantly improved ventricular function,cardiac biomarkers,electrocardiograph results,and cardiac fibrosis.Improved survival rates and body mass indices were also observed with TCM.We further pooled the available data from four studies(63 animals)for the meta-analysis and the results showed that,compared with models without any intervention,TCM significantly increased the ejection fraction by 14.13%(95%CI,9.96e18.29)and fraction shortening by 8.66%(95%CI,6.05 e11.26).Creatine kinase-MB(SMD=2.49,95%CI:-3.12 to-1.85)and lactate dehydrogenase(SMD=-2.78,95%CI:-3.45 to-2.12)were also significantly decreased by TCM.Conclusions:TCM is effective in improving AIC in animal models and has tremendous potential to be translated to treat AIC in clinical practice.Additionally,the systematic review and meta-analysis of animal experiments may be valuable in enhancing and guiding animal experiments and promoting the transformation of the results.Xiaoguang Lu Yili Zhang Yong Wang Jingen Li Jiacheng Zuo Wei Wang 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2021,8,1:0
