Atomic-Scale Layer-by-Layer Deposition of Fe SiAl@ZnO@Al_(2)O_(3) Hybrid with Threshold Anti-Corrosion and Ultra-High Microwave Absorption Properties in Low-Frequency Bands显示文摘Developing highly efficient magnetic microwave absorb-ers(MAs)is crucial, and yet challenging for anti-corrosion properties in extremely humid and salt-induced foggy environments.Herein,a dual-oxide shell of ZnO/Al_(2)O_(3) as a robust barrier to FeSiAl core is introduced to mitigate corrosion resistance. The FeSiAl@ZnO@Al_(2)O_(3) layer by layer hybrid structure is realized with atomic-scale precision through the atomic layer deposition technique.Owing to the unique hybrid structure, the FeSiAl@ZnO@Al_(2)O_(3) exhibits record-high micro-wave absorbing performance in low-frequency bands covering L and S bands with a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of-50.6 dB at 3.4 GHz.Compared with pure FeSiAl(RLmin of-13.5 dB,a bandwidth of 0.5 GHz),the RLmin value and effective bandwidth of this designed novel absorber increased up to~3.7 and~3 times,respectively.Fur-thermore,the inert ceramic dual-shells have improved 9.0 times the anti-corrosion property of FeSiAl core by multistage barriers towards corrosive medium and obstruction of the electric circuit. This is attributed to the large charge transfer resistance, increased impedance modulus|Z|0.01 Hz,and frequency time constant of FeSiAl@ZnO@Al_(2)O_(3).The research demonstrates a promising platform toward the design of next-generation MAs with improved anti-corrosion properties.Wei Tian Jinyao Li Yifan Liu Rashad Ali Yang Guo Longjiang Deng Nasir Mahmood Xian Jian 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10:6
Nuclear Aurora kinase A switches m^(6)A reader YTHDC1 to enhance an oncogenic RNA splicing of tumor suppressor RBM4显示文摘Aberrant RNA splicing produces alternative isoforms of genes to facilitate tumor progression, yet how this process is regulated by oncogenic signal remains largely unknown. Here,we unveil that non-canonical activation of nuclear AURKA promotes an oncogenic RNA splicing of tumor suppressor RBM4 directed by m^(6)A reader YTHDC1 in lung cancer.Nuclear translocation of AURKA is a prerequisite for RNA aberrant splicing, specifically triggering RBM4 splicing from the full isoform(RBM4-FL)to the short isoform(RBM4-S)in a kinase-independent manner.SiSi Li YangFan Qi JiaChuan Yu YuChao Hao Bin He MengJuan Zhang ZhenWei Dai TongHui Jiang SuYi Li Fang Huang Ning Chen Jing Wang MengYing Yang DaPeng Liang Fan An JinYao Zhao WenJun Fan YuJia Pan ZiQian Deng YuanYuan Luo Tao Guo Fei Peng ZhiJie Hou ChunLi Wang FeiMeng Zheng LingZhi Xu Jie Xu QingPing Wen BiLian Jin Yang Wang Quentin Liu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,5:4
Rifting characteristics of eastern subbasin of South China Sea and its spreading pattern显示文摘With processing and interpretation of 25 000 km full-coverage multibeam swath data from the eastern South China Sea, it is found that NE-trending and NW-trending linear morphological featuressuch as scarps, horsts and grabens, govem the central part (14°~ 17° N) of eastern subbasin.Compared with reflection seismic profiles, these NE-trending linear morpho-structures are considered to be the representation of basement structures on seabed and can be divided into three linear structural zones. The trend of the central zone is NE45°~50° occurring around extinct spreading center, the trend of the second zone is NE70°~78° on both sides of the central one and the trend of the third zone is about NE60° just on the north of the second one. These three NE-trending linear zones are formed in late-stage NW-SE-trending seafloor spreading of the eastern subbasin along NW-trending linear faults, and respectively correspond to three spreading episodes: 17.0~19.0 Ma (5d-5e), 19.0~21.0 Ma (5e-6a) and 21.0~24.2 Ma (6a-6c) based on the contrast of morpho-structures to magnetic lineation anomalies.Li Jiabiao Jin Xianglong Gao Jinyao 2002Acta Oceanologica Sinica2002,21,1:3
SRSF1 inhibits autophagy through regulating Bcl-x splicing and interacting with PIK3C3 in lung cancer显示文摘Alternative splicing is a critical process to generate protein diversity. However, whether and how alternative splicing regulates autophagy remains largely elusive. Here we systematically identify the splicing factor SRSF1 as an autophagy suppressor.Specifically,SRSF1 inhibits autophagosome formation by reducing the accumulation of LC3-ⅡI and numbers of autophagosomes in different cell lines.Mechanistically,SRSF1 promotes the splicing of the long isoform of Bcl-x that interacts with Beclinl, thereby dissociating the Beclin1-PIK3C3 complex. In addition,SRSF1 also directly interacts with PIK3C3 to disrupt the interaction between Beclinl and PIK3C3.Consequently,the decrease of SRSF1 stabilizes the Beclinl and PIK3C3 complex and activates autophagy.Interestingly,SRSF1 can be degraded by starvation-and oxidative stresses-induced autophagy through interacting with LC3-Ⅱ,whereas reduced SRSF1 further promotes autophagy. This positive feedback is critical to inhibiting Gefitinib-resistant cancer cell progression both in vitro and in vivo.Consistently, the expression level of SRSF1 is inversely correlated to LC3 level in clinical cancer samples. Our study not only provides mechanistic insights of alternative splicing in autophagy regulation but also discovers a new regulatory role of SRSF1 in tumorigenesis, thereby offering a novel avenue for potential cancer therapeutics.Yuesheng Lv Wenjing Zhang Jinyao Zhao Bing Sun Yangfan Qi Haoyu Ji Chaoqun Chen Jinrui Zhang Junxiu Sheng Taishu Wang Daniel Dominguez Han Liu Quentin Liu Songshu Meng Xiaoling Li Yang Wang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,4:2
Strain-regulated sensing properties of α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nano-cylinders with atomic carbon layers for ethanol detection显示文摘The sensitivity of ethanol sensor is of paramount importance in a variety of areas, including chemical production with ethanol, alcohol testing for driving safety,etc.Herein,α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nano-cylinders with atomic carbon layers are synthesized, for the first time, through in-situ catalytic chemical vapor deposition combined with hydrothermal techniques for the detection of ethanol. The reported α-Fe_(2)O_(3)@C nano-cylinders with double surficial strain effects deliver an ethanol detection sensitivity of 8 times as compared with α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nano-cylinders,10 times higher as compared with its detection sensitivity to ammonia,para-xylene,methanol and benzene. The sensor also exhibits over-14-day operation stability and the minimum detection limit of 10 ppm.To our best knowledge, the performances surpass those of previously reported α-Fe_(2)O_(3).Such attractive performances are attributed to the enhanced charge transfer in α-Fe_(2)O_(3) owing to the double surficial strain effects of α-Fe_(2)O_(3)@C nano-cylinders and the efficient adsorption of ethanol with atomic carbon layers.Huajing Xiong Jianan Fu Jinyao Li Rashad Ali Hong Wang Yifan Liu Hua Su Yuanxun Li Woon-Ming Lau Nasir Mahmood Chunhong Mu Xian Jian 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,9:2

Alloy-Electrode-Assisted High-Performance Enhancement-Type Neodymium-Doped Indium-Zinc-Oxide Thin-Film Transistors on Polyimide Flexible Substrate显示文摘Flexible thin-film transistors with high current-driven capability are of great significance for the next-generation new display technology. The effect of a Cu-Cr-Zr(CCZ)copper alloy source/drain(S/D)electrode on flexible amorphous neodymiumdoped indium-zinc-oxide thin-film transistors(NdIZO-TFTs)was investigated.Compared with pure copper(Cu)and aluminum(Al)S/D electrodes, the CCZ S/D electrode changes the TFT working mode from depletion mode to enhancement mode, which is ascribed to the alloy-assisted interface layer besides work function matching.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)depth profile analysis was conducted to examine the chemical states of the contact interface, and the result suggested that chromium(Cr)oxide and zirconium(Zr)oxide aggregate at the interface between the S/D electrode and the active layer, acting as a potential barrier against residual free electron carriers. The optimal NdIZO-TFT exhibited a desired performance with a saturation mobility(μsat)of 40.3 cm^(2)·V-1·s^(-1),an Ion/Ioff ratio of 1:24×10^(8),a subthreshold swing(SS)value of 0.12 V·decade^(-1),and a threshold voltage(Vth)of 0.83 V.This work is anticipated to provide a novel approach to the realization of highperformance flexible NdIZO-TFTs working in enhancement mode.Kuankuan Lu Rihui Yao Wei Xu Honglong Ning Xu Zhang Guanguang Zhang Yilin Li Jinyao Zhong Yuexin Yang Junbiao Peng 2021Research2021,,1:1

Progress in Antarctic marine geophysical research by the Chinese Polar Program显示文摘Marine geophysical survey by the Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE) began with the first science expedition in 1984/1985, although only four cruises were performed in the vicinity of the Antarctic Peninsula between then and 1991/1992. After a 20 year hiatus, Antarctic marine geophysical research was relaunched by the Chinese Polar Environmental Comprehensive Investigation and Assessment Programs(known simply as the Chinese Polar Program) in 2011/2012. Integrated geophysical surveys have been carried out annually since, in Prydz Bay and the Ross Sea. During the last 5 years, we have acquired about 5500 km of bathymetric, gravimetric, and magnetic lines; more than 1800 km of seismic reflection lines; and data from several heat flow and Ocean Bottom Seismometer(OBS) stations. This work has deepened understandings of geophysical features and their implications for geological tectonics and glacial history in Antarctica and its surrounding seas. Compiled Antarctic Bouguer and Airy isostatic gravity anomalies show different features of tectonics between the East Antarctic stability and West Antarctic activity. Calculated magnetic anomalies, heat flow anomalies and lithospheric anisotropy offshore of Prydz Bay may imply high heat capacity of mantle shielded by the continental shelf lithosphere, but high heat dissipation of mantle due to the Cretaceous breakup of Gondwana along the continent and ocean transition(COT), where large sediment ridges would be brought about by the Oligocene ice sheet retreat and would enlarge free-air gravity anomalies. In the western Ross Sea, CHINARE seismic profiles indicate northern termination of the Terror Rift and deposition time of the grounding zone wedge in the northern JOIDES Basin.GAO Jinyao SHEN Zhongyan YANG Chunguo WANG Wei JI Fei WU Zhaocai NIU Xiongwei DING Weifeng LI Dongxu ZHANG Qiao 2017Advances in Polar Science2017,28,4:1
