| 1 | The Oxidation State of Sulfur Detected in Na_2O-CaO-SiO_2 Float Glass by X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure Spectra显示文摘The oxidation state of sulfur is detected in Na2O-CaO-SiO2 float glass by synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectra at the sulfur K edge. The measured spectra show the only presence of S6+ in the Na2O-CaO-SiO2 float glass and the oxidation state of sulfur do not change with the increase of glass depth. It is also found that, after the melt has gone through the molten tin bath, the S6+ is the dominant species, but S2- is also present on both surfaces. | 2 | Parameter estimation of chirp signal under low SNR显示文摘Aiming at solving the problem of great difficulty and low accuracy existing in parameter estimation of chirp signal under low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) condition, an algorithm of accurate parameter estimation of chirp signal is proposed. First, the algorithm extracts ridge frequency of chirp signal based on Short Time Fourier Transform. Second, the protruding glitch frequencies are eliminated through median filter with proper size and the smoothing frequencies are obtained corresponding to the time. Third, the frequency time frequencymodulated(FM) line is fitted coarsely by the least-square linear fitting method, and some frequency points are removed, which are far away from the FM line. Repeat the process several times until the sample correlation coefficient of the fitted line is in high degree when the optimum chirp line is fitted out, so chirp rate and initial frequency are obtained. Simulation shows that the correct rate of parameter estimation is very high. When SNR is not less than –17 d B, the correct rate is 100%, and when the SNR is –18 d B, the correct rate is still capable of up to 99%. This algorithm has a lower SNR threshold of about –17 d B. When the SNR is greater than threshold,parameter estimation accuracy is close to Cramer Rao low bound(CRLB), higher than parameter estimation based on the phase field method. | 4 | Rumen-protected glucose supplementation in transition dairy cows shifts fermentation patterns and enhances mucosal immunity显示文摘Manipulation of perinatal diets,such as supplementing feed with rumen-protected glucose(RPG),has been positively regarded as a strategy to improve milking performance.This study was conducted to assess the effects of RPG on the fermentation profiles,resident microbiota and mucosal immunity in the cecum.Ten Holstein dairy cows were randomly assigned to either a 25 g/kg RPG diet(DM basis)or a 11 g/kg coating fat diet(control,CON).Compared with the CON group,the acetate-to-propionate ratio was lower in the RPG group.Gene expression analysis indicated that RPG supplementation tended to upregulate the expression of Na^(+)/H^(+)hydrogen exchanger 3(NHE3)(P=0.076).RPG supplementation downregulated the expression of genes involved in self-rehabilitation such as matrix metalloproteinase 1(MMP1),MMP3,MMP9 and MMP13.Additionally,the mRNA expression of genes involved in immunity including Toll-like receptors(TLR4,TLR6 and TLR7)and proinflammatory cytokines(immune interferon gamma[IFNG]and interleukins interleukin 17 A[IL7 F],IL17 A,IL22),was downregulated by RPG supplementation.Nonetheless,no differences existed in the bacterial copy number and beta diversity between the 2 groups.Overall,supplementation with RPG would probably cause a shift towards propionate production in the cecal digesta,and promote the immune homeostasis of the cecal mucosa in transition dairy cows.Our results extended the basic understanding of RPG supplementation and utilization in transition dairy cows in terms of host microbe interplay in the cecum. | Xiaoli Zhang Xiaopeng Li Jian Wu Jinzhen Jiao Zhixiong He Zhiliang Tan Xuefeng Han | 2021 | Animal Nutrition2021,,4: | 4 |

| 12 | STX5 Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma Adhesion and Promotes Metastasis by Regulating the PI3K/mTOR Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Syntaxin 5(STX5)is a member of the syntaxin or target-soluble SNAP receptor(t-SNARE)fam-ily and plays a critical role in autophagy.However,its function and molecular mechanism in tumor cell migration are still un-known.The role of STX5 in influencing hepatocellular carci-noma(HCC)is an important topic in our research.Methods:By using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),western blotting,and immunohistochemical analysis of RNA and protein in tissues,we comprehensively evaluated data sets from public databases and clinical patient cohorts for STX5.The correlation of STX5 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics of HCC patients were assessed.In addition,we predicted signal pathways from dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases,and confirmed the prediction using integrated transcriptome and RNA-seq.We further investi-gated the underlying mechanisms of STX5 in the migration and adhesion of HCC cells both in vitro and in vivo.Results:In the TCGA dataset and our patient cohort,STX5 levels were significantly higher in HCC tissues than in adjacent normal liver tissues.At the same time,high expression of STX5 pre-dicted worse prognosis in patients with liver cancer.High ex-pression of STX5 indicates the decrease of adhesion and the increase of migration of HCC cells,and the conversion of epi-thelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in vitro via PI3K/mTOR pathway activation.Conversely,when Sirolimus,a phospho-inositide 3-kinase(PI3K)/AKT/mechanistic target of rapa-mycin(mTOR)inhibitor acts on cells simultaneously,STX5 overexpression-mediated enhancement of HCC metastasis is reversed.Double-negative regulation of STX5 and mTOR further enhanced the inhibitory effect of STX5 on HCC me-tastasis.In vivo,STX5 knockdown inhibited the metastasis of HCC cells.Conclusions:Our study demonstrates a novel research result that STX5 promotes HCC metastasis through PI3K/mTOR pathway.We believe that combined inhibition of STX5 and mTOR is a potential treatment for effectively pro-longing patient survival and inhibiting HCC metastasis. | Bin Zhang Ziyin Zhao Youpeng Wang Tingting Guo Mingyang He Ge Guan Pai Peng Jinzhen Cai Bingyuan Zhang Xutao Liu Qiaoling Song | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3: | 1 |

| 14 | Fluorescence characterization and microbial degradation of dissolved organic matter leached from salt marsh plants in the Yellow River Delta显示文摘盐沼植被是沿海水体中溶解有机物(Dissolved Organic Matter,DOM)的重要贡献者。然而,不同盐沼植物释放DOM的动力学特征尚缺乏系统研究和比较。黄河三角洲湿地是中国东海岸面积最大,保护最完善的沿海生态系统之一。本论文研究了2016年10月从黄河三角洲(Yellow River Delta,YRD)盐沼中采集的三种常见沼泽植物(芦苇(Phragmites australis),碱蓬(Suaeda salsa)和獐茅(Aeluropus littoralis)的DOM释放过程。通过测定溶解有机碳(Dissolved Organic Carbon,DOC)和溶解氮(Dissolved Nitrogen,DN)发现,植物叶片释放的DOM浓度远高于其根和茎。在27天的培养期内,平均有15%的生物碳和30%的生物氮以DOC和DN的形式通过植物叶片释放。从植物中释放的DOM非常不稳定,在27天的培养期内,细菌共消耗了92.4%-98.1%的DOC和88.0%-94.6%的DN。植物释放DOM的荧光特性表明,发色溶解的有机物(Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter,CDOM)是DOM的主要组分,而类蛋白组分是植物释放CDOM的主要组分。细菌的降解作用改变了DOM的荧光性质和化学组成。上述的室内研究结果得到了实地调查的充分支撑,表明在深秋时期黄河口湿地有大量DOM溢出。本研究结果表明,盐沼植物释放的DOM是沼泽和沿海水域DOC和DN的重要来源,而且易降解DOC和DN为黄河口湿地和邻近沿海水域中的微生物群落提供了重要的食物来源。 | Tao Zhang Zhihua Feng Chunle Luo Yixin Sun Jinzhen Li Juntian Xu Xuchen Wang | 2020 | Journal of Plant Ecology2020,13,5: | 1 |
