3Evolution and breaking of a propagating internal wave in stratified ocean显示文摘The evolution and breaking of a propagating internal wave are directly numerically simulated using a pseudo-spectral method. The mechanism of PSI (parametric subharmonic instability) involved in the evolution is testified clearly. It dominates gradually in nonlinear resonant interactions. As a consequence,the energy cascades to a second plant wave packet which has lower frequencies and higher wavenumbers than that of the primary wave. With the growth of this wave packet,wave breaking occurs and causes strongly nonlinear regime,i.e. stratified turbulence. The strong mixing and intermittent of the turbulence can be learned from the evolution of the total energy and kurtosis of vorticity vs. time. Some statistic properties of the stratified turbulence are also analyzed,including the spectra of KE (kinetic energy) and PE (potential energy). The results show that the PE spectra display a wavenumber range scaling as 0.2 N4k-3y (N is the Brunt-Visl frequency,ky is the vertical wavenumber),which is called buoyancy sub-range. However,the KE spectra cannot satisfy the negative cubic law of vertical wavenumber,which have a much larger downtrend than that of the PE spectra,for the potential energy is transferred more efficiently toward small scales than the kinetic energy. 12The rice miR171b–SCL6-IIs module controls blast resistance,grain yield,and flowering显示文摘Micro RNAs(mi RNAs)act as regulators of plant development and multiple stress responses.Here we demonstrate that the rice mi R171 b-SCL6-IIs module regulates the balance between blast resistance,grain yield,and flowering.mi R171 b-overexpressing rice plants(OX171 b)displayed increased rice blast resistance accompanied with enhanced defense responses and late heading,whereas blocking mi R171 b expression in rice(MIM171)led to greater susceptibility to blast disease,associated with compromised defense responses and early heading.Either overexpressing or silencing of mi R171 b significantly affected plant height and number of filled seeds per panicle(seed-setting rate),resulting in decreased grain yield.mi R171 b targets SCL6-IIa,SCL6-IIb,and SCL6-IIc,whose expression was suppressed in OX171 b but increased in MIM171.Mutants of SCL6-IIa,SCL6-IIb,and SCL6-IIc all displayed phenotypes like that of OX171 b,including markedly increased blast disease resistance,slightly decreased grain yield,and delayed flowering.Amounts of mi R171 b increased gradually in leaves during the vegetative stage but decreased gradually in panicles during the reproductive stage,whereas SCL6-IIs displayed the reverse expression pattern.Together,these results suggest that the expression of mi R171 b was time-and space-dependent during the rice growth period and regulated the balance between rice blast disease resistance,grain yield,and flowering via SCL6-IIs,and that appropriate accumulation of mi R171 b is essential for rice development.Yan Li Ying Tong Xiaorong He Yong Zhu Tingting Li Xiaoyu Lin Wei Mao Zeeshan Ghulam Nabi Gishkori Zhixue Zhao Jiwei Zhang Yanyan Huang Mei Pu Jing Fan Jing Wang Wenming Wang 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,1:1
13Optimization of synergistic energy storage density and efficiency for eco-friendly (Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5))_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)TiO_(3)-based relaxor ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘Inspired by increasing demand of advanced pulsed power capacitors,the development of lead-free dielectric ceramic capacitors with high energy storage density and temperature-insensitive performance are extremely crucial.Herein,the lead-free relaxor ferroelectric ceramics based on(1-x)(Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5))0.6Sr_(0.4)TiO_(3-x)Sr_(0.7)La_(0.2)ZrO_(3)[abbreviated as(1-x)NBST-xSLZ]are prepared by the solid-state reaction route.The large recoverable energy density(Wrec)of 3.45 J/cm^(3) and efficiency(h)of 90.1%are simultaneously realized in 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic due to increased breakdown strength.Furthermore,both the Wrec and h of 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic display superior of thermal stability(20e180C),frequency stability(1e1000 Hz),and cycle stability(10^(4))within a satisfactory range of variation.In addition,the 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic can also achieve a large current density(CD)of 625 A/cm^(2),an ultrahigh power density(PD)of 50 MW/cm^(3) and a fast discharge rate(t0.90)of 160.8 ns at 160 kV/cm.These results demonstrate that the 0.86NBST-0.14SLZ ceramic could be a highly competitive and ecofriendly relaxor ferroelectric material for next-generation pulsed power capacitors.Hu Di Pan Zhongbin Wu Lukang Yang Fan Tang Luomeng Zhao Jinghao Shen Yihao Chen Yuyun Li Peng Zhai Jiwei Liu Jinjun 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,4:0
14Association of PM_(2.5)Reduction with Improved Kidney Function:A Nationwide Quasiexperiment among Chinese Adults显示文摘Background.Increasing evidence from human studies has revealed the adverse impact of ambient fine particles(PM_(2.5))on health outcomes related to metabolic disorders and distant organs.Whether exposure to ambient PM_(2.5)leads to kidney impairment remains unclear.The rapid air quality improvement driven by the clean air actions in China since 2013 provides an opportunity for a quasiexperiment to investigate the beneficial effect of PM_(2.5)reduction on kidney function.Methods.Based on two repeated nationwide surveys of the same population of 5115 adults in 2011 and 2015,we conducted a difference-indifference study.Variations in long-term exposure to ambient PM_(2.5)were associated with changes in kidney function biomarkers,including estimated glomerular filtration rate by serum creatinine(GFRscr)or cystatin C(GFRcys),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),and uric acid(UA).Results.For a 10μg/m^(3)reduction in PM_(2.5),a significant improvement was observed for multiple kidney functional biomarkers,including GFRscr,BUN and UA,with a change of 0.42(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.06,0.78)mL/min/1.73m^(2),-0.38(-0.64,-0.12)mg/dL,and-0.06(-0.12,-0.00)mg/dL,respectively.A lower socioeconomic status,indicated by rural residence or low educational level,enhanced the adverse effect of PM_(2.5)on kidney function.Conclusions.These results support a significant nephrotoxicity of PM_(2.5)based on multiple serum biomarkers and indicate a beneficial effect of improved air quality on kidney function.Yiqun Han Tao Xue Frank J.Kelly Yixuan Zheng Yao Yao Jiajianghui Li Jiwei Li Chun Fan Pengfei Li Tong Zhu 2022Health Data Science2022,,1:0
15Effect of Effective Grain Size and Grain Boundary of Large Misorientation on Upper Shelf Energy in Pipeline Steels显示文摘X65, X70, and X80 belong to high grade pipeline steels. Toughness is one of the mostimportant properties of pipeline steels when the pipeline transports the gas or oil, and the means to control toughness is very important for exploring even higher grade pipeline steels. We established the relationship between toughness and crystallographic parameters of high grade pipeline steels by studying the crystallographicparameters of X65, X70, and X80 using EBSD and analyzing Charpy CVN of X65, X70 and X80. The resultsshow that the effective grain size, the frequency distribution of grain boundary misorientation and the ratio ofhigh angle grain boundary to small angle grain boundary are important parameters. 16Multi-Modal Scene Matching Location Algorithm Based on M2Det显示文摘In recent years,many visual positioning algorithms have been proposed based on computer vision and they have achieved good results.However,these algorithms have a single function,cannot perceive the environment,and have poor versatility,and there is a certain mismatch phenomenon,which affects the positioning accuracy.Therefore,this paper proposes a location algorithm that combines a target recognition algorithm with a depth feature matching algorithm to solve the problem of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)environment perception and multi-modal image-matching fusion location.This algorithm was based on the single-shot object detector based on multi-level feature pyramid network(M2Det)algorithm and replaced the original visual geometry group(VGG)feature extraction network with the ResNet-101 network to improve the feature extraction capability of the network model.By introducing a depth feature matching algorithm,the algorithm shares neural network weights and realizes the design of UAV target recognition and a multi-modal image-matching fusion positioning algorithm.When the reference image and the real-time image were mismatched,the dynamic adaptive proportional constraint and the random sample consensus consistency algorithm(DAPC-RANSAC)were used to optimize the matching results to improve the correct matching efficiency of the target.Using the multi-modal registration data set,the proposed algorithm was compared and analyzed to verify its superiority and feasibility.The results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively deal with the matching between multi-modal images(visible image–infrared image,infrared image–satellite image,visible image–satellite image),and the contrast,scale,brightness,ambiguity deformation,and other changes had good stability and robustness.Finally,the effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm proposed in this paper were verified in an aerial test scene of an S1000 sixrotor UAV.Jiwei Fan Xiaogang Yang Ruitao Lu Qingge Li Siyu Wang 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10:0
17Studies on Organic Matter and Heavy Metals in Soils around the Coal-fired Power Plant in Jinsha显示文摘The concentrations of organic matter and heavy metals( Hg,Cu,Pb,Zn,As and Cd) were analyzed in soils around the coal-fired power plant in Jinsha( Guizhou Province,China),and the ecological risks of these heavy metals were evaluated by using the ecological risk warning assessment. The results showed that the concentration of organic matter in soils was high with the average value up to 41. 54 g/kg,which met the threshold limit for the concentration of organic matter at level 1. The concentration of organic matter in the study area was above the level of lack or the level of urgency. The results from the correlation analysis showed that there were correlations between organic matter and speciation of the heavy metals( except Pb). The results from the ecological risk warning assessment showed that the order for the risk probability of individual ecological risk index above the level of no alarm was: Hg > Cu = Pb > Zn > As = Cd. The comprehensive indices revealed that the probability was 15. 62% for the sample locations at no alarm level,while the probabilities were 3. 13%,40. 63%,21. 87% and 18. 75% for sample locations at the levels of early warning,light warning,medium warning and serious warning,respectively. 18Osa-miR439 Negatively Regulates Rice Immunity Against Magnaporthe oryzae显示文摘Osa-miR439 is a rice-specific microRNA family. Here we showed that Osa-miR439 acted as anegative regulator in rice immunity against blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. Osa-miR439 differentiallyresponded to M. oryzae between susceptible and resistant rice accessions. The accumulation ofOsa-miR439 was constitutively more in the susceptible accession than in the resistant one. Transgeniclines overexpressing Osa-miR439a (OX439a) showed higher susceptibility associating with lower inductionof defense-related genes and less hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) accumulation at the infection sites than thecontrol plants. In contrast, transgenic lines expressing a target mimic of Osa-miR439 (MIM439) displayedcompromised susceptibility associating with increased H2O2 accumulation. 19MTTSNet:Military time-sensitive targets stealth network via real-time mask generation显示文摘The automatic stealth task of military time-sensitive targets plays a crucial role in maintaining national military security and mastering battlefield dynamics in military applications.We propose a novel Military Time-sensitive Targets Stealth Network via Real-time Mask Generation(MTTSNet).According to our knowledge,this is the first technology to automatically remove military targets in real-time from videos.The critical steps of MTTSNet are as follows:First,we designed a real-time mask generation network based on the encoder-decoder framework,combined with the domain expansion structure,to effectively extract mask images.Specifically,the ASPP structure in the encoder could achieve advanced semantic feature fusion.The decoder stacked high-dimensional information with low-dimensional information to obtain an effective mask layer.Subsequently,the domain expansion module guided the adaptive expansion of mask images.Second,a context adversarial generation network based on gated convolution was constructed to achieve background restoration of mask positions in the original image.In addition,our method worked in an end-to-end manner.A particular semantic segmentation dataset for military time-sensitive targets has been constructed,called the Military Time-sensitive Target Masking Dataset(MTMD).The MTMD dataset experiment successfully demonstrated that this method could create a mask that completely occludes the target and that the target could be hidden in real time using this mask.We demonstrated the concealment performance of our proposed method by comparing it to a number of well-known and highly optimized baselines.Siyu Wang Xiaogang Yang Ruitao Lu Zhengjie Zhu Fangjia Lian Qing-ge Li Jiwei Fan 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,33,3:0
