| 4 | Accurate and efficient molecular dynamics based on machine learning and non von Neumann architecture显示文摘Force field-based classical molecular dynamics(CMD)is efficient but its potential energy surface(PES)prediction error can be very large.Density functional theory(DFT)-based ab-initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)is accurate but computational cost limits its applications to small systems.Here,we propose a molecular dynamics(MD)methodology which can simultaneously achieve both AIMD-level high accuracy and CMD-level high efficiency.The high accuracy is achieved by exploiting deep neural network(DNN)’s arbitrarily-high precision to fit PES.The high efficiency is achieved by deploying multiplication-less DNN on a carefully-optimized special-purpose non von Neumann(NvN)computer to mitigate the performance-limiting data shuttling(i.e.,‘memory wall bottleneck’).By testing on different molecules and bulk systems,we show that the proposed MD methodology is generally-applicable to various MD tasks.The proposed MD methodology has been deployed on an in-house computing server based on reconfigurable field programmable gate array(FPGA),which is freely available at http://nvnmd.picp.vip. | Pinghui Mo Chang Li Dan Zhao Yujia Zhang Mengchao Shi Junhua Li Jie Liu | 2022 | npj Computational Materials2022,,1: | 0 |
| 5 | Studies on culture condition of new marine bacterium Zooshikella sp. SY01显示文摘New marine bacterium Zooshikella sp.SY01,producer of prodigiosin,was isolated from the seawaters of Sanya Bay.The culture conditions of this bacterium were investigated.Zooshikella sp.SY01 was cultured in 2216E media which contained tryptophan,histidine,lac-tonic acid,camphor,limonene,casein,diphenyl guani-dine,coumarin and 1,3-dinitrobenzene,respectively.After 5 days cultivation,the extracts of different culture broths were detected by direct infusion mass spectroscopy using positive ESI mode.As the results,tryptophan,his-tidine and casein didn't show any observable influences on the biosynthesis of prodigiosin.Lactonic acid,camphor,limonene,diphenyl guanidine,coumarin could inhibit the bacterium growth and prodigiosin biosynthesis to a cer-tain extent,slower the culture broth to turn red.However,1,3-dinitrobenzene inhibited the bacteria to produce pro-digiosin completely.MS data suggested that various metabolites with chemodiversity were produced in differ-ent culture media.In particular,a series of high-molecu-lar-weight compounds with high relative abundances were observed in the medium containing limonene.To further optimize the culture condition,more new prodigiosin ana-logues and lead compounds can be obtained and the goal of'one strain-many compounds'can be achieved. | Wenjian LAN Linfeng MO Chuanghua CAI Yipin ZHOU Junhua YAO Houjin LI | 2008 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2008,2,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Linguistic expressions of despondency:an investigation of Sangness-related Chinese catchwords显示文摘Catchwords,as important social and cultural symbols,are the barometer of a country's society and culture.In China,various catchwords are coined and used every year by Chinese people,especially the young.Of these catchwords,one particular type that expresses despondency or Sangness is increasingly gaining scholarly attention.This study takes a socio-linguistic approach to investigating the most frequently used Sangness-related Chinese catchwords in the past ten years.By examining the annual top ten catchwords selected by Biting Words and Chewing Words between 2013 and 2022,it finds that the most frequently used Sangness-related Chinese catchwords in the past decade have been(1)Ge You Slouch,(2)feeling awful and wanting to cry,(3)Buddha-like,(4)996 work schedule,(5)life is too hard for me,(6)laborer,(7)involution,(8)lying flat,and(9)mental internal friction.These catchwords mainly serve the functions of deconstructing mainstream values,expressing self-mockery,and seeking value recognition.The development of these Sangness-related catchwords is characterized by an increasing diversity and a strongerapplicability. | Yehui Song Junkai Xue Yali Ma Junhua Mo | 2023 | Language and Semiotic Studies2023,9,3: | 0 |
| 7 | Fighting the COVID-19 pandemic with words:an investigation of pragmatic presuppositions in Chinese anti-pandemic slogans显示文摘Slogans play an important role in Chinese society.Numerous slogans have been created and used in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.As an eyecatching linguistic phenomenon,anti-pandemic slogans have sparked heated debates not only among the general public,but also in the academic sector.This study is focused on the pragmatic presuppositions in Chinese anti-pandemic slogans.By adopting a mixed approach(quantitative and qualitative),it finds that six types of pragmaticpresuppositions are used inChinese anti-pandemic slogans.Among them,the behavioral presuppositionsrank first in frequency of use,factive presuppositions second,stative presuppositions third,belief presuppositions fourth,cultural presuppositions fifth and emotional presuppositions sixth.The pragmatic presuppositions of these slogans can serve four major functions,which are persuading people to act properly,spreading scientific knowledge,warning people against wrongdoings and bolstering people’s confidence.However,there are sporadic occurrences of misusing pragmatic presuppositions in the so-called“hardcore”slogans.This study concludes that knowledge of pragmatic presuppositions is essential to a correct understanding and a proper creation of Chinese anti-pandemic slogans. | Junhua Mo Renquan Heng | 2022 | Language and Semiotic Studies2022,8,4: | 0 |
