| 1 | Impacts of soil organic matter, pH and exogenous copper on sorption behavior of norfloxacin in three soils显示文摘Norfloxacin sorption and the factors (soil organic matter (SOM), pH, and exogenous copper (Cu) inffluencing the sorption were investigated in a black soil (soil B), a ?uvo-aquic soil (soil F), and a red soil (soil R). With increasing norfloxacin concentrations, sorption amount of norfloxacin increased in both the bulk soils and their SOM-removed soils, but the sorption capacity of SOM-removed soils was higher than that of their corresponding bulk soils, indicating that the process of norfloxacin sorption in soil was influenced by the soil properties including SOM. The sorption data in all bulk soils and SOM-removed soils were fitted to Freundlich and Langmuir models. The correlation coeflcients suggested that the experimental data fitted better to Freundlich equation than to Langmuir equation. Furthermore, the data from soil F and SOM-removed F could not be described by Langmuir equation. The norfloxacin sorption amount decreased in soil B and soil F, whereas it increased in soil R as solution pH increased. The maximum KD and KOC were achieved in soil R when the equilibrium solution pH was 6. The norfloxacin sorption was also influenced by the exogenous Cu2+, which depended on the soil types and Cu2+ concentrations. | 2 | The Yanshan orogeny and late Mesozoic multi-plate convergence in East Asia—Commemorating 90th years of the “Yanshan Orogeny”显示文摘The Yanshan movement/orogeny has been proposed for 90 years, which is of special significance in the history of geological research in China. This study conducted a review by synthesizing major achievements regarding episodic deformation features, sedimentary and magmatic records of the Yanshan orogeny in China, and clarified the episodic tectono-magmatism and its geodynamic origins. The tectonic implications of the Yanshan orogeny are discussed in the context of global plate tectonics and supercontinent reconstruction. Lines of evidence from structural, sedimentary and magmatic data suggest that the Yanshan orogeny represents a regional-scale tectonic event that affected the entire China continent in late Mesozoic period. Numerous age and structural constraints consistently indicate that the Yanshan orogeny was initiated in the Jurassic(at ~170±5 Ma). and was characterized by alternating stages of crustal shortening at ~170–136 Ma, crustal extension at ~135–90 Ma, and weak shortening at ~80 Ma. The 170–136 Ma crustal shortening was reflected in the generation of two regional stratigraphic unconformities(the Tiaojishan and Zhangjiakou unconformities), which were initially named the A and B episodes of 'the Yanshan Orogeny' by Mr.Wong Wenhao in 1928. Geodynamically, the Yanshan orogeny in East Asia was associated with nearly coeval oceanic subduction and continental convergence in the Paleo-Pacific, Neo-Tethys, and Mongol-Okhotsk tectonic domains. As a consequence, three giant accretionary-collisional tectonic systems were formed along the continental margins of East Asia, i.e., the Mongol-Okhotsk, Bangonghu-Nujiang, and SE China subduction-and collision-related accretionary systems. The Yanshan orogeny induced widespread crustal-scale folding and thrusting, tectonic reactivation of long-lived zones of crustal weakness,and extensive magmatism and mineralization in intraplate regions. | 8 | Identification of QTLs and Validation of qCd-2 Associated with Grain Cadmium Concentrations in Rice显示文摘Cadmium(Cd) is one of heavy metals harmful to human health. As rice is the main staple food in Asia and Cd is easily contaminated in rice, the molecular regulation of Cd accumulation should be explored. In this study, a recombinant inbred population derived from Xiang 743/Katy was grown in Cd-polluted fields and used to map the quantitative trait loci(QTLs) for Cd accumulation in rice grains. We identified seven QTLs distributed on chromosomes 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 10. These QTLs displayed phenotypic variances of 58.50% and 40.59% in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Two QTLs, qCd-2 and qCd-7, were identified in both the two years. qCd-2 was detected on the interval of RM250–RM207 on chromosome 2, with an LOD of 2.51 and a phenotypic contribution of 13.75% in 2014, and an LOD of 3.35 and a phenotypic contribution of 14.16% in 2015. qCd-7 co-localized with the cloned qCdT7 on chromosome 7 and may represent the correct candidate. The other five QTLs were detected only in one year. To further confirm the effects of qCd-2, a residual heterozygous line designated as RHL945, with a heterozygous interval of RM263–RM207 on chromosome 2, was selected from the recombinant inbred population and used to develop an F2 population consisting of 155 individual plants. By incorporating further simple sequence repeat markers into the segmental linkage map of the target region, qCd-2 was delimited in the interval of RM5404–RM3774, with an LOD value of 4.38 and a phenotypic contribution of 15.52%. | 9 | Stabilization of Fe^0 nanoparticles with silica fume for enhanced transport and remediation of hexavalent chromium in water and soil显示文摘Effective in situ remediation of Cr(VI) in groundwater requires the successful delivery of reactive iron particles to the subsurface. Fe 0 nanoparticles (20–110 nm diameter) supported on silica fume were synthesized by borohydride reduction of an aqueous iron salt in the presence of a support material. The experimental result showed that attachment of Fe 0 nanoparticles on the commercial available sub-micrometer silica fume prevented them from aggregation while maintaining the particle reactivity. When the Fe 0 concentration was 0.4 g/L, 88.00% of 40 mg/L Cr(VI) was removed by silica fume-supported Fe 0 nanoparticles (SF-Fe 0 ) in 120 min, 22.55% higher than unsupported Fe 0 . Furthermore, transport experiments confirmed that almost all unsupported Fe 0 was retained, whereas 51.50% and 38.29% of SF-Fe 0 were eluted from the vertical and horizontal sand column, respectively. Additionally, the effect of solution ionic strength on the transport ability of SF-Fe 0 was evaluated. | 10 | miR-23b promotes cutaneous wound healing through inhibition of the inflammatory responses by targeting ASK1显示文摘Wound healing is a complicated event that develops in three overlapping phases:inflammatory, proliferative,and remodeling.MicroRNAs (miRNAs)have been proved to play an important role in the healing process of skin trauma,and alteration of specific miRNA expression during different phases may be associated with abnormal wound healing.In this study,we determined the variation of miR-23b expression after trauma in normal mice and in cultured cells exposed to lipopolysaccharide.We further demonstrated that excessive miR-23b could significantly accelerate wound healing in vivo.Up-regulation of miR-23b decreases infiltration of inflammatory cells,as evidenced by pathologic staining.Meanwhile,miR-23b could significantly inhibit the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,including TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and Ccl2,and significantly increase antiinflammatory factor IL-10.Furthermore,miR-23b could also promote α-SMA expression in a fiber pattern and increase the expression of Col1a1 and Col3a1.Importantly,we also showed that miR- 23b could inhibit inflammation to promote wound healing by targeting apoptotic signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1).Notably,knockdown of ASK1 could reduce inflammation factor expression in vitro.Together,our data reveal that miR-23b is a potent therapeutic agent for cutaneous wound healing that shortens the period of inflammatory responses and promotes keratinocyte migration for the re-epithelialization of wound sites. | Hongzhi Li Xiao Han Kuiyang Zuo Li Li Jieting Liu Xiaohuan Yuan Yongchao Shen Minglong Shao Daxin Pang Yanhui Chu Binghai Zhao | 2018 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11: | 5 |
| 11 | Alda-1 treatment promotes the therapeutic effect of mitochondrial transplantation for myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury显示文摘Mitochondrial damage is a critical driver in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury and can be alleviated via the mitochondrial transplantation.The efficiency of mitochondrial transplantation is determined by mitochondrial vitality.Because aldehyde dehydrogenase 2(ALDH2)has a key role in regulating mitochondrial homeostasis,we aimed to investigate its potential therapeutic effects on mitochondrial transplantation via the use of ALDH2 activator,Alda-1.Our present study demonstrated that time-dependent internalization of exogenous mitochondria by cardiomyocytes along with ATP production were significantly increased in response to mitochondrial transplantation.Furthermore,Alda-1 treatment remarkably promoted the oxygen consumption rate and baseline mechanical function of cardiomyocytes caused by mitochondrial transplantation.Mitochondrial transplantation inhibited cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by the hypoxia-reoxygenation exposure,independent of Alda-1 treatment.However,promotion of the mechanical function of cardiomyocytes exposed to hypoxia-reoxygenation treatment was only observed after mitochondrial Alda-1 treatment and transplantation.By using a myocardial I/R mouse model,our results revealed that transplantation of Alda-1-treated mitochondria into mouse myocardial tissues limited the infarction size after I/R injury,which was at least in part due to increased mitochondrial potential-mediated fusion.In conclusion,ALDH2 activation in mitochondrial transplantation shows great potential for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury. | Xiaolei Sun Rifeng Gao Wenjia Li Yongchao Zhao Heng Yang Hang Chen Hao Jiang Zhen Dong Jingjing Hu Jin Liu Yunzeng Zou Aijun Sun Junbo Ge | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,7: | 5 |

| 13 | CoP nanoparticles embedded in P and N co-doped carbon as efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst for water splitting显示文摘Noble-metal-free hydrogen/oxygen evolution reaction(HER/OER) electrocatalysts, especially bifunctional electrocatalysts, are essential for overall water splitting, but their performance is impeded by many factors like poor electrical conductivity. Herein, we fabricated cobalt phosphide(Co P) nanoparticles embedded in P and N co-doped carbon(PNC) matrix(Co P@PNC) to fully realize the high activity of Co P by maximizing its conductivity. Simply a carbonization coupled phosphidation approach was utilized where Co ions and organic ligands of Co-MOF were transferred into Co P and P and N co-doped carbon. The synthesized material shows an ideal electrical conductivity, excellent HER(overpotential of-84 m V and-120 m V @10 m A cm^(-2) in acidic and alkaline medias, respectively) and OER(overpotential of 330 m V@10 m A cm^(-2) in alkaline media) performances. | 16 | Studies on the Specific Degranulation of Mast Cell Sensitized by Several Allergens in vitro显示文摘Food allergy is a major health issue worldwide. Mast cells play a very important role in the immediate hypersensitivity for which mast cell degranulation needs to be studied extensively. In this study, an approach was taken to study the characteristics of sensitized mast cell degranulation in vitro, which associated with the study of mast cells and animal models. BALB/c mice were immunized respectively by several food allergens, then blood and peritoneal mast cells were collected at different time points. A dynamic determination was carried out between mast cells and serumal IgE. Comparative analysis on sequential time points showed that there was a close coincidence between mast cell degranulation and IgE antibody titers in sensitized BALB/c mice. Furthermore, it is interesting that sensitized mast cells could implement specific degranulation against the challenges in vitro, but the closely tropomyosins induced mast cell degranulation displayed cross reactions. This is very similar to IgE resisting the allergens in vivo. | 18 | Characteristics and distribution patterns of reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in deep water areas:the western South China Sea显示文摘As a potential oil and gas reservoir,reef complexes have been a research focus from petroleum geologists for a long time.There are favorable conditions for the development of reef complexes in the South China Sea; however,their internal structures,evolution and distribution are still poorly understood.Based on 2D and 3D seismic data,the internal structures and evolution patterns of the reef complexes on the carbonate platform margin in the deep water areas over the western South China Sea were studied in detail.The result shows that two types of reef complexes,i.e.,fault controlling platform margin reef complexes and ramp reef complexes have been developed in the study area.The reef complexes have independent or continuous mound or lenticular seismic reflections,with three internal structures(i.e.,aggrading,prograding and retrograding structures).There are different growth rates during the evolution of the reef complexes,resulting in the formation of catch-up reefs,keep-up reefs and quick step reefs.The study also reveals that different platform margin reef complexes have different internal structures and distributions,because of the different platform types.These results may be applied to the exploration and prediction of carbonate platform margin reef complexes in other areas that are similar to the study area. | CHEN Ping LI Xushen WANG Yahui LU Yongchao ZHONG Zehong CHEN Lei ZUO Qianmei MA Yiquan WANG Chao DU Xuebin | 2015 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2015,34,10: | 3 |

Man-made landform is a landform unit characterized by human activities and is a result of synergizing human and nature geomorphologic agents under the physical geographical background. This article provides an overview on the major progresses in research on anthropogenic geomorphology from aspects like the origin of anthropogenic geomorphologyman-made landform agents and classificationman-made landform evolution and its influencing mechanismmap presentation of man-made landformand environmental impact of man-made landforms.
