1Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine injection in treatment of primary liver cancer:a review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Injections(TCMIs) for treatment of primary liver cancer(PLC).METHODS:A literature review was conducted using PubMed/Medline,Cochrane Library Controlled Clinical Trials Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),China Scientific Journal Database(CSJD) and China Biology Medicine(CBM).Online websites including journal websites and databases of ongoing trials,as well as some Traditional Chinese Medicine journals that are not indexed in the electronic databases were also searched.RESULTS:The literature review showed that TCMIs as adjunctive medication for the treatment of PLC could regulate patient immunity,reduce bone marrow suppression,relieve clinical symptoms,and improve quality of life,as well as control disease progression and prolong survival time.CONCLUSION:Within the limitations of this review,we conclude that application of TCMIs as adjunctive medication may provide benefits for patients with PLC.Further large,high-quality trials are warranted.Mouduo Li Cuixia Qiao Liping Qin Junyong Zhang Changquan Ling 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3:22
2Review and prospect of active distribution system planning显示文摘The approach to planning,design and operation of distribution networks have significantly changed due to the proliferation of distributed energy resources(DERs)together with load growth,energy storage technology advancements and increased consumer expectations.Planning of active distribution systems(ADS)has been a very hot topic in the 21st Century.A large number of studies have been done on ADS planning.This paper reviews the state of the art of current ADS planning.Firstly,the influences of DERs on the ADS planning are addressed.Secondly,the characteristics and objectives of ADS planning are summarized.Then,up to date planning model and some related research are highlighted in different areas such as forecasting load and distributed generation,mathematical model of ADS planning and solution algorithms.Finally,the paper explores some directions of future research on ADS planning including planning collaboratively with all elements combined in ADS,taking into account of joint planning in secondary system,coordinating goals among different layers,integrating detailed operation simulations and regular performance based reviews into planning,and developing advanced planning tools.Junyong LIU Hongjun GAO Zhao MA Yuanxi LI 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,4:23

4Effects of short-term low temperatures on photosystem Ⅱ function of samara and leaf of Siberian maple (Acer ginnala) and subsequent recovery显示文摘Samara is the reproductive organ (seed) for many tree species in arid land in northwestern China. It is ecologically important in population development due to its dispersal function. However, information on its photosynthesis and effect of environmental stresses on its photosynthesis is still very limited. In the present study, responses of photosystem II (PSII) activity in samara and leaf of Siberian maple to short-term chilling/freezing and subsequent recovery potential were comparatively investigated by using polyphasic fluorescence test. The samara had more efficient photosynthesis (Fv/Fm and PIABS) and more efficient electron transport (φEo) but lower energy dissipation (DIo/RC) than leaf. Generally, the PSII performance and the electron transport for both samara and leaf were inhibited under low temperature stress, accompanied by an increase of energy dissipation in PSII reaction centers (RCs). PSII of both samara and leaf was not markedly affected by chilling and could acclimate to chilling stress. Short-term freezing could completely inhibit PSII activity in both samara and leaf, indicated by the drop of values of Fv/Fm, PIABS, φEo to zero. PSII functional parameters of short-term dark frozen samara could be largely recovered whereas those of frozen leaf could not be recovered. 5A new method of enhancing reliability for transmission expansion planning显示文摘The reliability plays a significant role in power systems and it is an important objective or constraint in transmission expansion planning.Firstly,a DC optimization model was proposed to calculate the maximum arrival power at each load point.Compared to the network flow method,DC model is closer to the actual power flow and it is able to obtain more realistic reliability assessment results.Furthermore,a novel sensitivity index(SI)was also proposed to choose the most effective line so as to enhance the nodal and/or system reliability.The Monte Carlo simulation is used to simulate the system components state.This improved reliability evaluation method and SI can be used for transmission expansion planning or maintenance scheduling.Tests are performed using 6-bus system derived from the Garver’s system and the IEEE 10-machine 39-bus system.The results show the effectiveness of the method.Chengxin LI Guo CHEN Junyong LIU 2014Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2014,2,4:6
6Reversing abnormal hole localization in high-Alcontent AlGaN quantum well to enhance deep ultraviolet emission by regulating the orbital state coupling显示文摘AlGaN has attracted considerable interest for ultraviolet(UV)applications.With the development of UV optoelectronic devices,abnormal carrier confinement behaviour has been observed for c-plane-oriented AlGaN quantum wells(QWs)with high Al content.Because of the dispersive crystal field split-off hole band(CH band)composed of pz orbitals,the abnormal confinement becomes the limiting factor for efficient UV light emission.This observation differs from the widely accepted concept that confinement of carriers at the lowest quantum level is more pronounced than that at higher quantum levels,which has been an established conclusion for conventional continuous potential wells.In particular,orientational pz orbitals are sensitive to the confinement direction in line with the conducting direction,which affects the orbital intercoupling.In this work,models of Al_(0.75)Ga_(0.25)N/AlN QWs constructed with variable lattice orientations were used to investigate the orbital intercoupling among atoms between the well and barrier regions.Orbital engineering of QWs was implemented by changing the orbital state confinement,with the well plane inclined from 0°to 90°at a step of 30°(referred to the c plane).The barrier potential and transition rate at the band edge were enhanced through this orbital engineering.The concept of orbital engineering was also demonstrated through the construction of inclined QW planes on semi-and nonpolar planes implemented in microrods with pyramid-shaped tops.The higher emission intensity from the QWs on the nonpolar plane compared with those on the polar plane was confirmed via localized cathodoluminescence(CL)maps.Li Chen Wei Lin Huiqiong Wang Jinchai Li Junyong Kang 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:6
7Power flow calculation for a distribution system with multi-port PETs:an improved AC-DC decoupling iterative method显示文摘Recently,power electronic transformers(PETs)have received widespread attention owing to their flexible networking,diverse operating modes,and abundant control objects.In this study,we established a steady-state model of PETs and applied it to the power flow calculation of AC-DC hybrid systems with PETs,considering the topology,power balance,loss,and control characteristics of multi-port PETs.To address new problems caused by the introduction of the PET port and control equations to the power flow calculation,this study proposes an iterative method of AC-DC mixed power flow decoupling based on step optimization,which can achieve AC-DC decoupling and effectively improve convergence.The results show that the proposed algorithm improves the iterative method and overcomes the overcorrection and initial value sensitivity problems of conventional iterative algorithms.Hang Yin Qiang Li Youbo Liu Xianglong Liu Yue Xiang Junyong Liu 2020Global Energy Interconnection2020,3,4:5

10Engineered tunneling layer with enhaneed impact ionization for detection improvement in graphene/silicon heterojunction photodetectors显示文摘Here,an engineered tunneling layer enhanced photocurrent multiplication through the impact ionization effect was proposed and experimentally demonstrated on the graphene/silic on heterojunction photodetectors.With con sidering the suitable band structure of the insulation material and their special defect states,an atomic layer deposition(ALD)prepared wide-bandgap insulating(WBI)layer of AIN was introduced into the interface of graphene/silicon heterojunction.The promoted tunneling process from this designed structure dem on strated that can effectively help the impact ionization with photogain not only for the regular minority carriers from silicon,but also for the novel hot carries from graphene.As a result,significantly enhanced photocurrent as well as simultaneously decreased dark current about one order were accomplished in this graphene/insulation/silicon(GIS)heterojunction devices with the optimized AIN thickness of〜15 nm compared to the conventional graphene/silicon(GS)devices.Specifically,at the reverse bias of-10 V,a 3.96-A W_1 responsivity with the photogain of~5.8 for the peak response under 850-nm light illumination,and a 1.03-A W_1 responsivity with~3.5 photogain under the 365 nm ultraviolet(UV)illumination were realized,which are even remarkably higher than those in GIS devices with either AI2O3 or the commonly employed SiO2 insulation layers.This work dem on strates a universal strategy to fabricate broad ba nd,low-cost and high-performance photo-detecting devices towards the graphene-silicon optoelectronic integration.Jun Yin Lian Liu Yashu Zang Anni Ying Wenjie Hui Shusen Jiang Chunquan Zhang Tzuyi Yang Yu-Lun Chueh Jing Li Junyong Kang 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,6:3

12The onset of deep recycling of supracrustal materials at the Paleo-Mesoarchean boundary显示文摘The recycling of supracrustal materials, and in particular hydrated rocks, has a profound impact on mantle composition and thus on the formation of continental crust, because water modifies the physical properties of lithological systems and the mechanisms of partial melting and fractional fractionation. On the modern Earth, plate tectonics offers an efficient mechanism for mass transport from the Earth’s surface to its interior, but how far this mechanism dates back in the Earth’s history is still uncertain. Here, we use zircon oxygen(O) isotopes to track recycling of supracrustal materials into the magma sources of early Archean igneous suites from the Kaapvaal Craton, southern Africa. The mean δ^(18)O values of zircon from TTG(tonalite–trondhjemite–granodiorite) rocks abruptly increase at the Paleo-Mesoarchean boundary(ca.3230 million years ago;Ma), from mantle zircon values of 5‰–6‰ to approaching 7.1‰, and this increase occurs in ≤3230 Ma rocks with elevated Dy/Yb ratios. The^(18)O enrichment is a unique signature of low-temperature water–rock interaction on the Earth’s surface. Because the later phase was emplaced into the same crustal level as the older one and TTG magmas would derive from melting processes in the garnet stability field(>40 km depth), we suggest that this evident shift in TTG zircon O isotopic compositions records the onset of recycling of the mafic oceanic crust that underwent seawater hydrothermal alteration at low temperature. 13High surface area, high catalytic activity titanium dioxide aerogels prepared by solvothermal crystallization显示文摘Titanium dioxide has been considered to be one of the most effective and environmental friendly photocatalytic material.It has been widely used in photocatalytic degradation of various pollutants.As we known,an anatase crystal form typically obtained by high temperature heat treatment(>600℃),usually shows higher catalytic activity.In order to further improve the catalytic efficiency,we prepared TiO2 with a non-supercritical drying method to form a high specific surface area aerogel structure,along with an increased active contact site.However,with the inevitable of internal pores collapse in the process of high temperature crystallization,a large amount of porous structure and specific surface area is reduced.Here,to enhance the photocatalytic activity of titania,we propose a synergistic strategy to fabricate a porous titania structure with a high specific surface area.It was crystallized at a lower temperature(120℃) in a low-boiling solvent(ethanol,acetone,etc.).The lattice structure was identified by X-ray diffractometry;specific surface area(over 300 m2/g) of our sample was also measured through BET test;in the subsequent photocatalytic degradation test,the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of fabricated TiO2 is proved to be more excellent than P25 powder.By a freeze-drying/mild crystallization method,a high-specific surface area and high catalytic activity TiO2 aerogel was synthetized.This study provides some insights in the combining of crystallization and high specific surface area of titanium dioxide photocatalysis.Xian Yue Junhui Xiang Junyong Chen Huaxin Li Yunsheng Qiu Xianbo Yu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,12:2
14Bacterial outer membrane vesicles-based therapeutic platform eradicates triple-negative breast tumor by combinational photodynamic/chemo-/immunotherapy显示文摘Bacterial outer membrane vesicles(OMVs)are potent immuno-stimulating agents and have the potentials to be bioengineered as platforms for antitumor nanomedicine.In this study,OMVs are demonstrated as promising antitumor therapeutics.OMVs can lead to beneficial M2-to-M1 polarization of macrophages and induce pyroptosis to enhance antitumor immunity,but the therapeutic window of OMVs is narrow for its toxicity.We propose a bioengineering strategy to enhance the tumor-targeting ability of OMVs by macrophage-mediated delivery and improve the antitumor efficacy by co-loading of photosensitizer chlorin e6(Ce6)and chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin(DOX)into OMVs as a therapeutic platform.We demonstrate that systemic injection of the DOX/Ce6-OMVs@M therapeutic platform,providing combinational photodynamic/chemo-/immunotherapy,eradicates triple-negative breast tumors in mice without side effects.Importantly,this strategy also effectively prevents tumor metastasis to the lung.This OMVs-based strategy with bioengineering may serve as a powerful therapeutic platform for a synergic antitumor therapy.Yongjiang Li Junyong Wu Xiaohan Qiu Suhe Dong Jun He Jihua Liu Wenjie Xu Si Huang Xiongbin Hu Da-Xiong Xiang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,2:2

20Time-varying Reliability Analysis of Long-span Continuous Rigid Frame bridge under Cantilever Construction Stage based on the Monitored Strain Data显示文摘In general,the material properties,loads,resistance of the prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge in different construction stages are time-varying.So,it is essential to monitor the internal force state when the bridge is in construction.Among them,how to assess the safety is one of the challenges.As the continuous monitoring over a long-term period can increase the reliability of the assessment,so,based on a large number of monitored strain data collected from the structural health monitoring system(SHMS)during construction,a calculation method of the punctiform time-varying reliability is proposed in this paper to evaluate the stress state of this type bridge in cantilever construction stage by using the basic reliability theory.At the same time,the optimal stress distribution function in the bridge mid-span base plate is determined when the bridge is closed.This method can provide basis and direction for the internal force control of this type bridge in construction process.So,it can reduce the bridge safety and quality accidents in construction stages.Yinghua Li Kesheng Peng Lurong Cai Junyong He 2020Journal of Architectural Environment & Structural Engineering Research2020,3,1:1
