| 1 | Experimental realization of honeycomb borophene显示文摘We report the successful preparation of a purely honeycomb,graphene-like borophene,by using an Al(11 1) surface as the substrate and molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) growth in ultrahigh vacuum.Scanning tunneling microscopy(STM) images reveal perfect monolayer borophene with planar,non-buckled honeycomb lattice similar as graphene.Theoretical calculations show that the honeycomb borophene on Al(1 1 1) is energetically stable.Remarkably,nearly one electron charge is transferred to each boron atom from the Al(1 1 1) substrate and stabilizes the honeycomb borophene structure,in contrast to the negligible charge transfer in case of borophene/Ag(1 1 1).The existence of honeycomb 2 D allotrope is important to the basic understanding of boron chemistry,and it also provides an ideal platform for fabricating boron-based materials with intriguing electronic properties such as Dirac states. | Wenbin Li Longjuan Kong Caiyun Chen Jian Gou Shaoxiang Sheng Weifeng Zhang Hui Li Lan Chen Peng Cheng Kehui Wu | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,5: | 7 |

| 3 | A fully biodegradable polydioxanone occluder for ventricle septal defect closure显示文摘Ventricular septal defect(VSD)is one of the commonest congenital heart diseases(CHDs).Current occluders for VSD treatment are mainly made of nitinol,which has the risk of nickel allergy,persistent myocardial abrasion and fatal arrythmia.Herein,a fully biodegradable polydioxanone(PDO)occluder equipped with a shape line and poly-L-lactic acid PLLA membranes is developed for VSD closure without the addition of metal marker.PDO occluder showed great mechanical strength,fatigue resistance,geometry fitness,biocompatibility and degradability.In a rat subcutaneous implantation model,PDO filaments significantly alleviated inflammation response,mitigated fibrosis and promoted endothelialization compared with nitinol.The safety and efficacy of PDO occluder were confirmed in a canine VSD model with 3-year follow-up,demonstrating the biodegradable PDO occluder could not only effectively repair VSD,induce cardiac remodeling but also address the complications associated with metal occluders.Furthermore,a pilot clinical trial with five VSD patients indicated that all the occluders were successfully implanted under the guidance of echocardiography and no adverse events occurred during the 3-month follow-up.Collectively,the fully bioresorbable PDO occluder is safe and effective for clinical VSD closure and holds great promise for the treatment of structural CHDs. | Zefu Li Pengxu Kong Xiang Liu Shuyi Feng Wenbin Ouyang Shouzheng Wang Xiaopeng Hu Yongquan Xie Fengwen Zhang Yuxin Zhang Rui Gao Weiwei Wang Xiangbin Pan | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,6: | 1 |
| 4 | Current evidence and challenges of systematic therapies for adult recurrent glioblastoma: Results from clinical trials显示文摘Recurrence is a major concern for adult patients with glioblastomas(GBMs), and the prognosis remains poor.Although several therapies have been assessed, most of them have not achieved satisfactory results. Therefore, there is currently no standard treatment for adult recurrent GBM(r GBM). Here, we review the results of clinical trials for the systematic therapy of r GBM. Regorafenib, rindopepimut and neoadjuvant programmed death 1(PD-1)inhibitors are promising agents for r GBM, while regorafenib is effective in both O6-methylguanine DNA methyltransferase(MGMT) promoter methylated and unmethylated patients. Temozolomide rechallenge and alkylating agents combined with bevacizumab can be useful for patients with MGMT methylation, and patients with isocitrate dehydrogenase(IDH) mutations or second recurrence can benefit from vocimagene amiretrorepvec(Toca511). Some phase I trials on targeted therapy and immunotherapy have shown positive results, and results from further studies are expected. | 7 | High-Performance D-A Copolymer Donor Based on Difluoroquinoxaline A-Unit with Alkyl-Chlorothiophene Substituents for Polymer Solar Cells显示文摘Side chain engineering with fluorine substitution is widely used to enhance photovoltaic performance of polymer donors in the research field of polymer solar cells(PSCs).However,fluorine substitution has disadvantages of complicated synthesis and high cost.Herein,we synthesized a novel D-A copolymer donor PBQ9 based on difluoroquinoxaline A-unit with chlorine substitution on its alkyl-thiophene side chains instead of fluorine substitution in the polymer donor PBQ6,which greatly shortens the synthetic route and reduces the cost.Interestingly,the optimized binary PSC with PBQ9 as polymer donor and m-TEH as acceptor demonstrated a high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.81%(certified PCE of 18.33%by National Institute of Metrology,China)with a high fill factor of 80.59%,and the photovoltaic performance of the PSCs is insensitive to the different batches of the polymer donor.The results indicate that PBQ9 is a high-performance polymer donor and that chlorine substitution is an effective strategy to improve photovoltaic performance and reduce the cost of polymer donors. | Can Zhu Ke Hu Lei Meng Xiaolei Kong Wenbin Lai Shucheng Qin Beibei Qiu Jinyuan Zhang Zhanjun Zhang Yilei Wu Xiaojun Li Yongfang Li | 2023 | CCS Chemistry2023,5,10: | 0 |
| 8 | Highly Efficient and Selective Photocatalytic Nonoxidative Coupling of Methane to Ethylene over Pd-Zn Synergistic Catalytic Sites显示文摘Photocatalytic nonoxidative coupling of CH_(4)to multicarbon(C^(2+))hydrocarbons(e.g.,C,H4)and H,under ambient conditions provides a promising energy-conserving approach for utilization of carbon resource.However,as the methyl intermediates prefer to undergo self-coupling to produce ethane,it is a challenging task to control the selective conversion of CH to higher valueadded CH4.Herein,we adopt a synergistic catalysis strategy by integrating Pd-Zn active sites on visible light-responsive defective WO_(3)nanosheets for synergizing the adsorption,activation,and dehydrogenation processes in CH_(4)to C_(2)H_(4)conversion.Benefiting from the synergy,our model catalyst achieves a remarkable C^(2+)compounds yield of 31.85μmolgh with an exceptionally high C,H4 selectivity of 75.3%and a stoichiometric H_(2)evolution.In situ spectroscopic studies reveal that the Zn sites promote the adsorption and activation of CH_(4)molecules to generate methyl and methoxy intermediates with the assistance of lattice oxygen,while the Pd sites facilitate the dehydrogenation of methoxy to methylene radicals for producing C_(2)H_(4)and suppress overoxidation.This work demonstrates a strategy for designing efficient photocatalysts toward selective coupling of CH_(4)to higher value-added chemicals and highlights the importance of synergistic active sites to the synergy of key steps in catalytic reactions. | Yanduo Liu Yihong Chen Wenbin Jiang Tingting Kong Pedro H.C.Camargo Chao Gao Yujie Xiong | 2023 | Research2023,,1: | 0 |

Compared with 2015,the planting area would increase by 1. 97% and the yield would increase by 1. 17%. According to the production scheduling of Chongqing Agricultural Commission,the citrus production in Chongqing in 2016 would continue to maintain a steady and rapid growth,the estimated area and yield were 0. 206 7 million ha and 2. 8 million t,increasing by 4. 27% and 4. 48% compared with 2015 respectively. By the end of November 2016,most of mature citrus products in Chongqing would show different degree of rise in purchasing price,while the purchasing price of red orange and some processed raw material fruits would show different amplitude of decline. | 10 | Key Points of Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of Wushan Crisp Plum,a New Cultivar of Green Crisp Plum显示文摘Wushan crisp plum is a new cultivar of green crisp plum with dignified fruit shape,crisp and tender flesh,pit separability and sweet taste.It is bred from natural bud mutant of Jiang'an Dabaili,a local green crisp plum cultivar by Wushan County Fruit Industry Development Center,Southwest University and Chongqing Agricultural Technology Extension Station.Wushan crisp plum has won the gold award in the National High-quality Plum and Apricot Appraise and Elect and the tile of'the king of fruit'in the'Three-Gorge Cup'High-quality Crisp Plum Appraise and Elect.In the southwestern region of China,the planting area of Wushan crisp plum has been extended to 33000 ha.The cultivar has strong robust and fast growth.In the area along the Yangtze River in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Chongqing,it ripens from early to middle July.The fruit is ovoid and of medium size,with average longitudinal diameter of 3.3 cm,average horizontal diameter of 4.0 cm,average single fruit mass of 37.2 g,carpopodium length of 1.5 cm,and carpopodium diameter of 0.1 cm.The top of the fruit is slightly concave.The peel is green to green-yellow in background color and medium in thickness,with obvious fruit dots and thick white fruit wax.The flesh is light yellow,compact,short in fiber length,juicy,crisp,tender,pure and sweet,with soluble solids content of 12%-15%,titratable acid content of 0.43%-0.72%and vitamin C content of 6.12-8.99 mg/100 g.The pit is small,separable,and oblate.The percentage of edible flesh is up to 94.80%-96.88%.There is no obvious pre-harvest cracking and intra-fruit pectin.The cultivar is mid-ripening and high in yield.In the firm ripe stage,the flesh is crunchy;and after entering the soft ripe stage,the flesh becomes powdery,and the hardness decreases.At room temperature,the fruit is not resistant to storage and transportation.Wushan crisp plum is tolerant to the climate with high temperature,high humidity and less sunshine,with good adaptability.It is suitable for promoting in the upper reaches of Yangtze River within 180-1000 m elevation. | Wei XIONG Ming HUANG Ming ZENG Linling KOU Wenbin KONG Jun TANG Fang XIANG Tao HE | 2020 | Asian Agricultural Research2020,12,7: | 0 |
