1Study on Volatile Oil Components and Total Anti-oxidation Capacity and Simulated SOD Activity of Leaves from Michelia chapensis and M. fovelata显示文摘The volatile oils from leaves of Michelia chapensis Dandy and M. foveolata Merr.ex Dandy were isolated by organic solvent extraction and their components were analyzed and quantified by GC/MS. Then, the total anti-oxidation capacity and simulated SOD activity were tested. Forty-four compounds in M. chapensis were identified and the main constituents are aromatic (11.057%), ester (5.041%) and terpenoid compounds (19.772%). Fifty-two compounds in M. foveolata were identified, and their main constituents are aromatic (21.293%), alcohol (17.403%), alkene (6.909%), ester (5.657%) and alkane compounds (5.134%). The results showed that the two oils have strong anti-oxidation capacity and simulated SOD activity. The total anti-oxidation capacities were the highest when the volatile oil from M. foveolata was diluted by 50 times and that from M.chapensis by 100 times. The simulated SOD activity of volatile oil from M. chapensis was higher than that from M. foveolata, and CuZn-SODs in the two oils held 73%-74% of the total SOD. 3Structure of the HRV-C 3C-Rupintrivir Complex Provides New Insights for Inhibitor Design显示文摘Human rhinoviruses(HRVs)are the predominant infectious agents for the common cold worldwide.The HRV-C species cause severe illnesses in children and are closely related to acute exacerbations of asthma.3C protease,a highly conserved enzyme,cleaves the viral polyprotein during replication and assists the virus in escaping the host immune system.These key roles make 3C protease an important drug target.A few structures of 3Cs complexed with an irreversible inhibitor rupintrivir have been determined.These structures shed light on the determinants of drug specificity.Here we describe the structures of HRV-C153C in free and inhibitor-bound forms.The volume-decreased S1'subsite and half-closed S2 subsite,which were thought to be unique features of enterovirus A 3C proteases,appear in the HRV-C 3C protease.Rupintrivir assumes an“intermediate”conformation in the complex,which might open up additional avenues for the design of potent antiviral inhibitors.Analysis of the features of the three-dimensional structures and the amino acid sequences of 3C proteases suggest new applications for existing drugs.Shuai Yuan Kaiyue Fan Zhonghao Chen Yao Sun Hai Hou Ling Zhu 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,4:3
4The Effects of Temperature, Light and Moisture on the Seed Germination of Siphonostegia chinensis Benth显示文摘To explore the optimum temperature,light intensityand water conditions for seed germination of Siphonostegia chinensis Benth.,seed germination experiment were carried out under different temperatures(5/15,10/20,15/25,20/30℃),different light intensity(14h light/10h darkness,complete darkness)and different concentrations(0%,5%,10%,15%,20%)of PEG-6000 solution.In terms of concentration,5%PEG was regarded as the low level,10%and 15%as the medium level,and 20%as the high level.The results showed that(1)Germination rate,germination potential,and germination index were increased with the rise of temperature.In addition,seed germination was significantly higher under the dark conditions than that with the 14h light/10h darkness.(2)No seed germination occurred when the temperature was below 10/20 C at 14h light/10h darkness.(3)Under 14h light/10h darkness,the germination rate,germination potential and germination index first increased and then decreased with the increase of PEG concentration.The low concentration was more beneficial to the seed germination.(4)Under the condition of complete darkness,the germination rate,germination potential and germination index decline with fluctuation with the increase of PEG concentration.Seed germination of Siphonostegia chinensis Benth.was inhibited in high concentration of PEG.Shuaiqun Fan Kaiyu Qin Jingping Li Qinggui Zhang Fenguo Zhang Yongji Wang 2019Journal of Botanical Research2019,1,2:2

6Well-Dispersed Graphene Enhanced Lithium Complex Grease Toward High-Efcient Lubrication显示文摘Graphene as a lubricating additive holds great potential for industrial lubrication. However, its poor dispersity and compatibility with base oils and grease hinder maximizing performance. Here, the infuence of graphene dispersion on the thickening efect and lubrication function is considered. A well-dispersed lubricant additive was obtained via trihexyl tetradecyl phosphonium bis(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate modifed graphene ([P_(66614)][DEHP]-G). Then lithium complex grease was prepared by saponifcation with 12-OH stearic acid, sebacic acid, and lithium hydroxide, using polyalphaolefn (PAO20) as base oil and the modifed-graphene as lubricating additive, with the original graphene as a comparison. The physicochemical properties and lubrication performance of the as-prepared greases were evaluated in detail. The results show that the as-prepared greases have high dropping point and colloidal stability. Furthermore, modifed-graphene lithium complex grease ofered the best friction reduction and anti-wear abilities, manifesting the reduction of friction coefcient and wear volume up to 18.84% and 67.34%, respectively. With base oil overfow and afux, well-dispersed [P_(66614)][DEHP]-G was readily adsorbed to the worn surfaces, resulting in the formation of a continuous and dense graphene deposition flm. The synergy of deposited graphene-flm, spilled oil, and adhesive grease greatly improves the lubrication function of grease. 8Effects of Exogenous Calcium on Datura Seed Germination under Drought Stress显示文摘With polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000),of 0%(CK),5%,10%,15%,25%used to simulate drought stress,and CaCl2 concentration 0(CK),of 15,20,25 and 30mmol/L as ion gradient of exogenous calcium,the effects of drought,exogenous calcium and the interaction between the two on the Datura seed germination,so as to explore the optimal application amount of exogenous calcium to ease the suppression of drought stress on Datura seed germination.The results showed that the germination rate,germination potential and germination index of the Datura seeds were significantly lower than those of the control group.Under the normal moisture condition,exogenous calcium of moderate and low concentration had no significant effect on the Datura seed germination,while that of high concentration showed an inhibitory effect on the seed germination.Under drought stress,with the increasing concentration of exogenous calcium,the three indicators of Datura seeds showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.When the exogenous calcium had the concentration of 20 mmol/L,all the indicators of seed germination reached the maximum value,while showed a downward trend when exogenous calcium concentration was 25-30 mmol/L,and even increasingly sharp with drought intensifying.Therefore,in the production and utilization of Datura,20 mmol/L of exogenous calcium can be used to soak seeds before sowing to improve the emergence rate under low and moderate drought conditions.Kaiyu Qin Shuaiqun Fan Fenguo Zhang Yongji Wang 2019Journal of Botanical Research2019,1,2:0
9Near real-time modeling of global ionospheric vertical total electron content using hourly IGS data显示文摘The International GNSS Service(IGS) has been providing reliable Global Ionospheric Maps(GIMs) since 1998. The Ionosphere Associate Analysis Centers(IAACs) model the global ionospheric Total Electron Content(TEC) and generate the daily GIM products within the context of the IGS. However, the rapid and final daily GIM products have a latency of at least one day and one week or so, respectively. This limits the value of GIM products in real-time GNSS applications.We propose and develop an approach for near real-time modeling of global ionospheric TEC by using the hourly IGS data. We perform an experiment in a real operating environment to generate near real-time GIM(named BUHG) products for more than two years. Final daily GIM products,Precise Point Positioning(PPP) based VTEC resources, and JASON-3 Vertical TEC(VTEC) measurements are collected for testing the performance of BUHG. The results show that the performance of BUHG is very close to that of the daily GIM products. Also, there is good agreement between BUHG and PPP-derived VTEC as well as with JASON-3 VTEC.
