| 1 | A Duplex Real-Time PCR Assay for the Simultaneous Detection of Porcine Circovirus 2 and Circovirus 3显示文摘Porcine circoviruses(PCV) include PCV1, PCV2, and the new-emerging PCV3. PCV2 is pathogenic to pigs, but the pathogenicity of PCV3 in pigs is debatable. Recently, there have been frequent reports of PCV2 and PCV3 co-infections in clinical samples. Thus, it would be practical to develop a duplex PCR method to detect PCV2 and PCV3 simultaneously. In this study, specific primers and probes were designed to target PCV2 cap and PCV3 rep genes. A duplex real-time PCR method was then developed to detect the two viruses. The assay was found to be highly specific, sensitive, and reproducible for PCV2/3 without cross-reactions with other swine pathogens. The sensitivity of this assay was 2.9 copies for the PCV2 plasmid and 22.5 copies for the PCV3 plasmid. The established assay was then used to detect PCV2/3 infection in 340 clinical samples collected in the first half of 2017. The results showed that the co-infection rate of PCV2/3 in the samples was 27.6%. | 2 | Higher alcohol synthesis over Cu-Fe composite oxides with high selectivity to C_(2+)OH显示文摘Cu-Fe composite oxides were prepared by co-precipitation method and tested for higher alcohol synthesis from syngas. The selectivity to C2+OH and C6+OH in alcohol distribution was very high while the methane product fraction in hydrocarbon distribution was rather low, demonstrating a promising potential in higher alcohols synthesis from syngas. The distribution of alcohols and hydrocarbons approximately obeyed Anderson-Schulz-Flory distribution with similar chain growth probability, indicating alcohols and hydrocarbons derived from the same intermediates. The effects of Cu/Fe molar ratio, reaction temperature and gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) on catalytic performance were studied in detail. The sample with a Cu/Fe molar ratio of 10/1 exhibited the best catalytic performance. Higher reaction temperature accelerated water-gas-shift reaction and led to lower total alcohols selectivity. | 8 | Synthesis of Acetic Acid on Pd-H_4SiW_(12)O_(40)-Based Catalysts by Direct Oxidation of Ethylene显示文摘Synthesis of acetic acid by direct oxidation of ethylene on Pd-H4SiW12O4o-based catalystswas studied in a fixed-bed integral reactor and a pulse differential reactor. From the performance of thecatalysts with different compositions and configurations, it is proposed that acetic acid is predominantlyproduced via an intermediate of acetaldehyde. This can be easily confirmed by comparing the productdistributions in the integral and the differential reactors. The active sites for acetic acid formation areconsidered to exist mainly at the boundaries between the H4SiW12O4o and the Pd particles. The Pd-basedcatalysts reduced by H2/N2 have higher activities than those reduced by hydrazine, as explained by thedegree of Pd dispersion obtained from the characteristics of hydrogen chemical adsorption.
