10Electrodeposition and characterization of Cu2O thin films using sodium thiosulfate as an additive for photovoltaic solar cells显示文摘Cuprous oxide(Cu_2 O) thin films have been grown by electrodeposition technique onto ITO-coated glass substrates from aqueous copper acetate solutions with addition of sodium thiosulfate at 60 ℃. The effects of sodium thiosulfate on the electrochemical deposition of Cu20 films were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry techniques. Deposited films were obtained at-0.58 V vs. SCE and characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and optical, photoelectrochemical and electrical measurements. X-ray diffraction results indicated that the synthesized Cu20 films had a pure cubic phase with a marked preferential orientation peak along(200) plane and with lattice constants a = b = c = 0.425 nm. FTIR results confirmed the presence of Cu_2 O films at peak 634 cm^(-1) SEM images of Cu_2 O films showed a better compactness and spherical-shaped composition. Optical properties of Cu20 films reveal a high optical transmission(>80%) and high absorption coefficient(α> 10~4 cm^(-1)) in visiblelight region. The optical energy band gap was found to be 2.103 eV. Photoelectrochemical measurements indicated that Cu20 films had n-type semiconductor conduction, which confirmed by Hall Effect measurements.Electrical properties of Cu20 films showed a low electrical resistivity of 61.30 Ω·cm^(-1), carrier concentration of-4.94 × 10^(15)cm^(-3) and mobility of 20.61 cm^2· V^(-1)·s^(-1).The obtained Cu_2 O thin films with suitable properties are promising semiconductor material for fabrication of photovoltaic solar cells.Hassiba Rahal Rafiaa Kihal Abed Mohamed Affoune Samia Rahal 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,2:0
11AB081.Multi-unit ocular biometric system based on corneal shapes显示文摘Background:Our goal is to build a multi-unit ocular biometric system based on the fusion of left and right corneal shapes for identity authentication.Methods:Ocular biometrics such as iris,periocular,retina,sclera and eye movement have become established biometric traits,primarily due to extensive efforts made by the biometrics community in the field of iris recognition.In this work,we propose an ocular biometric trait based on the 3D shape of the cornea to improve biometric authentication.We show how the fusion of the left and right corneas can be used as a biometric trait for person recognition.First,we started by realizing our own cornea database by using a Pentacam Topographer(Oculus)which contains 288 corneal topographies of both eyes captured from 36 different people of different ages.For each eye,data acquisition was done during two different sessionsto establish the repeatability of the measurements over time.The time interval between the two sessions was equal or greater than one month.In each session;8 acquisitions(4 left eyes end 4 right eyes)were taken.Then,features were extracted by modeling the shape of the left and right corneas with a Zernike polynomial expansion.The fusion of the left and right shapes of cornea was performed at the matching score level using the weighted-sum rule.Results:For each individual,we had eight feature vectors(eight measures in two sessions)of size 36(Zernike polynomial coefficients)from their corneal topographies.The experimental results on our cornea database constructed for this study showed encouraging performance of the proposed ocular biometric system with Equal Error Rate decreasing to 1.38%with the weighted-sum rule compared to the analysis of the left(4.5%)or right(3.7%)cornea alone.Conclusions:The objective of this work was to investigate corneal topographyas an accurate biometric modality using shape discriminating features.Our idea was to propose an ocular multi-unit system based on the fusion of the left and right corneal shapes.The corneal feature extraction was done by Zernike polynomial decomposition.Multi-unit cornea fusion was performed at the matching score level to generate a unique score.This allowed a significative decrease of the EER to 1.38%.Nassima Kihal Isabelle Brunette Jean Meunier 2018Annals of Eye Science2018,,1:0
12Electrodeposition and characterization of ZnO thin films using sodium thiosulfate as an additive for photovoltaic solar cells显示文摘Zinc oxide thin films have been grown by electrodeposition technique onto Cu and ITO-coated glass substrates from an aqueous zinc nitrate solution with addition of sodium thiosulfate at 90 ℃.The effects of sodium thiosulfate on the electrochemical deposition of ZnO were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry techniques.Deposited films were obtained at-0.60 V vs.SCE and characterized by XRD,SEM,FTIR,optical,photoelectrochemical and electrical measurements.Thickness of the deposited film was measured to be357 nm.X-ray diffraction results indicated that the synthesized ZnO has a pure hexagonal wurtzite structure with a marked preferential orientation along(002) plane.FTIR results confirmed the presence of ZnO films at peak558 cm^(-1).SEM images showed uniform,compact morphology without any cracks and films composed of large flower-like ZnO agglomerates with star-shape.Optical properties of ZnO reveal a high optical transmission(>80%)and high absorption coefficient(α > 10~5 cm^(-1)) in visible region.The optical energy band gap was found to be 3.28 eV.Photoelectrochemical measurements indicated that the ZnO films had n-type semiconductor conduction.Electrical properties of ZnO films showed a low electrical resistivity of 6.54 Ω·cm,carrier concentration of-1.3× 10^(17)cm^(-3) and mobility of 7.35 cm^2V^(-1)s^(-1).Hassiba Rahal Rafiaa Kihal Abed Mohamed Affoune Mokhtar Ghers Faycal Djazi 2017Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,5:0
