| 2 | Minimum Cost Multi-Path Parallel Transmission with Delay Constraint by Extending Openflow显示文摘Sometimes user has the requirement to run a high bandwidth application over a low bandwidth network. But its implementation is not easy as the traditional network transmits data with only one path where its bandwidth is lower than the demand. Although the current network technology like SDN has the ability to precisely control the data transmission in the network, but till now the standard openflow protocol does not support splitting one flow to multiple flows. In this paper, a flow splitting algorithm is proposed. The algorithm splits a data flow to multiple sub-flows by extending the openflow protocol. A multiple paths routing algorithm is also proposed to implement the multi-path parallel transmission in the paper. The algorithm selects multiple paths and minimizes the cost of transmission under the constraint of maximum delay and delay variance. | 4 | Seismic resilience assessment of corroded reinforced concrete structures designed to the Chinese codes显示文摘The natural landscape in China exposes many existing RC buildings to aggressive environments.Such exposure can lead to deterioration in structural performance with regard to resisting events such as earthquakes.Corrosion of embedded reinforcement is one of the most common mechanisms by which such structural degradation occurs.There has been increasing attention in recent years toward seismic resilience in communities and their constituent construction;however,to date,studies have neglected the effect of natural aging.This study aims to examine the effect of reinforcement corrosion on the seismic resilience of RC frames that are designed according to Chinese seismic design codes.A total of twenty RC frames are used to represent design and construction that is typical of coastal China,with consideration given to various seismic fortification levels and elevation arrangements.Seismic fragility relationships are developed for case frames under varying levels of reinforcement corrosion,i.e.,corrosion rates are increased from 5%to 15%.Subsequently,the seismic resilience levels of uncorroded and corroded RC frames are compared using a normalized loss factor.It was found that the loss of resilience of the corroded frames is greater than that of their uncorroded counterparts.At the Rare Earthquake hazard level,the corrosioninduced increase in loss of resilience can be more than 200%,showing the significant effect of reinforcement corrosion on structural resilience under the influence of earthquakes. | Yu Xiaohui Dai Kuangyu Li Yushi Li Bing | 2021 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2021,20,2: | 1 |

| 13 | Adjustment for the Age-and Gender-Related Metabolic Changes Improves the Differential Diagnosis of Parkinsonism显示文摘Age and gender are the important factors for brain metabolic declines in both normal aging and neurodegeneration,and the confounding effects may influence early and differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases based on the[^(18)F]fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography([^(18)F]FDG PET).We aimed to explore the potential of the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors on[^(18)F]FDG PET images in differentiation of Parkinson’s disease(PD),multiple system atrophy(MSA)and progressive supra-nuclear palsy(PSP).Eight hundred and seventy-seven clinically definitely diagnosed Parkinsonian patients from a benchmark Huashan Parkinsonian PET imaging database were included.An age-and gender-adjusted Z(AGAZ)score was established based on the gender-specific longitudinal metabolic changes on healthy subjects.AGAZ scores and standardized uptake value ratio(SUVR)values were quantified at regional-level and support vector machine-based error-correcting output codes method was applied for classification.Additional references of the classifications based on metabolic pattern scores were included.The feature-based AGAZ score showed the best performance in classification(accuracy for PD,MSA,PSP:93.1%,96.3%,94.8%).In both genders,the AGAZ score con-sistently achieved the best efficiency,and the improvements compared to the conventional SUVR value for PD,MSA,and PSP mainly laid in specificity(Male:5.7%;Female:11.1%),sensitivity(Male:7.2%;Female:7.3%),and sensitivity(Male:7.3%;Female:17.2%).Female patients benefited more from the adjustment on[^(18)F]FDG PET in MSA and PSP groups(absolute net reclassification index,p<0.001).Collectively,the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors may improve the differential diagnosis of Parkinsonism.Particularly,the diagnosis of female Parkinsonian population has the best improvement from this correction. | Jiaying Lu Min Wang Ping Wu Igor Yakushev Huiwei Zhang Sibylle Ziegler Jiehui Jiang Stefan Förster Jian Wang Markus Schwaiger Axel Rominger Sung-Cheng Huang Fengtao Liu Chuantao Zuo Kuangyu Shi | 2023 | Phenomics2023,3,1: | 0 |

| 16 | Method of Hill Tunneling via Weighted Simplex Centroid for Continuous Piecewise Linear Programming显示文摘This paper works on a heuristic algorithm with determinacy for the global optimization of Continuous PieceWise Linear(CPWL) programming. The widely applied CPWL programming can be equivalently transformed into D.C. programming and concave optimization over a polyhedron. Considering that the super-level sets of concave piecewise linear functions are polyhedra, we propose the Hill Tunneling via Weighted Simplex Centroid(HTWSC) algorithm, which can escape a local optimum to reach the other side of its contour surface by cutting across the super-level set. The searching path for hill tunneling is established via the weighted centroid of a constructed simplex. In the numerical experiments, different weighting methods are studied first, and the best is chosen for the proposed HTWSC algorithm. | 18 | Chemical screening reveals Ronidazole is a superior prodrug to Metronidazole for nitroreductase-induced cell ablation system in zebrafish larvae显示文摘The Metronidazole(MTZ)/nitroreductase(NTR)-mediated cell ablation system is the most commonly used chemical-genetic cell ablation method in zebrafish. This system can specifically ablate target cells under spatial and temporal control. The MTZ/NTR system has become a widely used cell ablation system in biological, developmental, and functional studies. However, the inadequate cell-ablation ability of some cell types and the side effects of high concentration MTZ impede extensive applications of the MTZ/NTR system. In the present study, the US drug collection library was searched to extend the NTR system. Six MTZ analogs were found, and the cell-ablation ability of these analogs was tested in zebrafish larvae. The results revealed that two of the NTR substrates, Furazolidone and Ronidazole, ablated target cells more efficiently than MTZ at lower concentrations. Furthermore, the working concentration of Ronidazole, but not Furazolidone and MTZ, did not affect axonal bridge formation during spinal cord regeneration.
